Abstract

Developing numeracy skills in early childhood is crucial for cognitive growth. However, children aged 4-5 often struggle with number recognition, counting, and distinguishing numerical symbols. This study aims to develop interactive multimedia educational games to enhance numeracy skills in young learners. This research employed the Research and Development (RD) method using the ADDIE development model. A small-scale sample of five children with numeracy difficulties was involved. Observations at TPA Idola Bangsa Cilegon revealed that existing numeracy learning media were limited to conventional tools such as whiteboards, number cards, and books, highlighting the need for engaging digital alternatives. The developed multimedia game was validated by experts, with material experts rating it at 80% and media experts at 88%. The effectiveness of the game was assessed using the N-Gain Score, yielding a medium improvement category (0.65) in children’s numeracy skills. Additionally, children's responses to the game reached 91%, indicating strong engagement and acceptance. The findings suggest that interactive multimedia games provide a more effective and engaging alternative to traditional learning methods, addressing children's numeracy challenges. Interactive multimedia educational games are feasible, effective, and well-received by young learners. Future research should explore the long-term impact of these tools on children's cognitive development and adapt them for broader educational settings.

Abstract

This study examined the readiness of Indonesian high school students to engage in blended learning using a Small Private Online Course (SPOC) for trigonometry instruction and identified factors that support or hinder this readiness. Using a quantitative descriptive design, data were collected from 58 Grade XI students at SMA Negeri 5 Kota Serang. A validated questionnaire measured six readiness dimensions: cognitive understanding, learning motivation, digital literacy, access to technology, learning environment, and interaction skills. The instrument demonstrated strong reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.875). Results indicated that 81% of students were categorized as “very ready,” reflecting high preparedness, especially in digital access and cognitive understanding. Nevertheless, several constraints emerged, including decreased motivation, less supportive learning environments, and limited self-regulation. These findings suggest that SPOC-based trigonometry learning can be implemented immediately or in the near term, provided schools strengthen support mechanisms such as digital orientation, motivational scaffolding, and structured learner assistance. The study contributes practical evidence to inform classroom implementation and broader mathematics education policy in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study was aimed to analyze the relationship between classroom management, teacher work culture, and pedagogical competence among Islamic high school teachers in Cikande District, Serang Regency. The research was conducted in four schools, with a total sample of sixty-nine teachers. Data were collected using closed questionnaires based on a Likert scale, which had been validated through a t-test. The collected data were analyzed using inferential statistics with a correlational approach, employing SPSS version 23 software. The results of this study indicated that classroom management had a significant relationship with pedagogical competence; specifically, classroom management was directly related to pedagogical competence. In contrast, teacher work culture exhibited a weaker relationship with pedagogical competence. The Pearson Correlation Value was 0.683 for classroom management and 0.774 for teacher work culture. The R value of 0.793 indicated a strong relationship between classroom management, teacher work culture and pedagogical competence. This finding proved that classroom management had a central role in improving pedagogical competence and creating a good work culture.

Abstract

The study aims to describe the influence of pedagogic competence, work environment on teacher work behaviour with loyalty as mediation in SMPN Serang Regency Region I. The research used an explanatory method with a quantitative approach. The instrument used a closed questionnaire on 210 respondents using random sampling technique. The study used path analysis techniques to test the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable using lisrel. The results showed that: there is a significant positive direct effect of pedagogic competence on work behaviour with a path coefficient of 0.305, ρ value 0.00. The work environment on work behaviour has a significant positive direct effect with a coefficient of 0.50, ρ value 0.00. Loyalty to teacher work behaviour has a significant positive direct effect with a path coefficient of 0.107, ρ value 0.047. Simultaneously, it has a positive direct impact on work behaviour by 69.2%. Pedagogic competence on work behaviour through loyalty has an indirect effect but does not have a mediating effect, the sobel t value is 1.791. Similarly, the work environment on work behaviour through loyalty has an indirect effect but does not have a mediating effect with a sobel test value of 1.904.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah, budaya organisasi, dan perilaku inovatif terhadap kinerja guru. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Sampel yang digunakan terdiri dari 67 guru di SMP Negeri se-Kota Serang. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah berhubungan positif namun tidak signifikan dengan kinerja guru, dengan nilai P-Value sebesar 0.822; 2) budaya organisasi berhubungan positif namun tidak signifikan dengan kinerja guru, dengan nilai P-Value sebesar 0.250; 3) perilaku inovatif guru memiliki hubungan positif yang signifikan dengan kinerja guru, dengan nilai P-Value sebesar 0.000; dan 4) nilai R-Square menunjukkan hubungan signifikan antara variabel independen (X1, X2, dan X3) secara simultan dengan variabel dependen (Y) sebesar 0.995. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa semua variabel eksogen memiliki kontribusi hubungan sebesar 95% terhadap kinerja guru. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah, budaya organisasi, dan perilaku inovatif secara keseluruhan memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja guru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji kesiapan strategis Pemerintah Kota Cilegon dalam menyinkronkan pelatihan vokasi dengan tuntutan industri berdasarkan Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Daerah (RPJMD) 2021-2026. Sebagai pusat industri utama, Cilegon menghadapi tantangan signifikan berupa pengangguran di kalangan lulusan sekolah menengah yang disebabkan oleh ketidaksesuaian keterampilan yang persisten. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi kebijakan pemerintah, alokasi anggaran, dan target kinerja yang berkaitan dengan penguatan pendidikan vokasi pada era Industri 4.0. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis kualitatif terhadap RPJMD Kota Cilegon, ditemukan bahwa pemerintah daerah memprioritaskan daya saing SDM melalui program prioritas "25 Ribu Lapangan Kerja". Temuan penelitian menunjukkan adanya alokasi anggaran tahunan yang konsisten sebesar 11 miliar khusus untuk pelatihan berbasis kompetensi dan pemagangan industri. Kebijakan tersebut menetapkan target sertifikasi kompetensi sebesar 80% bagi para pencari kerja. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa meskipun kerangka strategis telah terbentuk, efektivitas pelaksanaannya sangat bergantung pada sinergi antara Balai Latihan Kerja dengan kemitraan sektor swasta melalui skema pemagangan. Selain itu, mengingat kewenangan sekolah menengah kejuruan formal berada di bawah pemerintah provinsi, pemerintah kota memfokuskan intervensi pada pelatihan vokasi non-formal untuk menjembatani kesenjangan keahlian. Implikasi dari studi ini menegaskan bahwa penyerapan tenaga kerja yang efektif memerlukan standar sertifikasi terintegrasi yang diakui oleh investor dan industri berskala internasional

Abstract

Permainan tradisional merupakan salah satu bentuk kearifan lokal yang memiliki nilai edukatif tinggi dan berpotensi besar untuk dikembangkan sebagai media pembelajaran anak usia dini. Salah satu permainan tersebut adalah egrang batok, yaitu alat permainan yang terbuat dari batok kelapa dan tali sebagai pijakan serta pegangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pemanfaatan egrang batok sebagai alat permainan edukasi berbasis kearifan lokal dalam mengembangkan kemampuan motorik kasar anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek 10 anak usia dini, 3 guru, dan 5 orang tua di TKN Pembina Pandeglang. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan egrang batok mampu meningkatkan kemampuan keseimbangan, koordinasi gerak, kemandirian, serta interaksi sosial anak. Dengan demikian, egrang batok dapat menjadi alternatif media pembelajaran yang efektif dan kontekstual berbasis budaya lokal.

Abstract

Educational policy in Indonesia has undergone another significant shift with the issuance of Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Regulation Number 9 of 2026, which integrates the National Assessment (Asesmen Nasional/AN) with a new instrument, the Academic Ability Test (Tes Kemampuan Akademik/TKA). This article aims to critically examine the policy design, its underlying rationale, and its social implications. The study employs a Critical Policy Analysis (CPA) approach, enriched by Stephen J. Ball’s sociology of policy perspective and the theory of Street-Level Bureaucracy. It highlights the tension between the paradigms of Assessment of Learning (AoL) and Assessment for Learning (AfL) arising from the integration of instruments with differing objectives. Document analysis, including Regulation Number 10 of 2025 on Graduate Competency Standards, reveals a misalignment between the holistic orientation of graduate profiles and the cognitively oriented nature of the TKA. Furthermore, the “voluntary” status of TKA risks becoming nominal when its results are used in high-stakes student selection processes. Infrastructure disparities and implementer discretion at the school level further raise concerns regarding test validity and integrity.This study concludes that, without adequate regulation and mitigation, the policy risks reinforcing test-oriented teaching practices, fostering implicit school ranking, and exacerbating educational inequality. Careful and equitable implementation is therefore essential.

Abstract

Pengembangan kebijakan yang bersifat inovatif dalam Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) dipandang sebagai upaya strategis untuk memperkuat proses pembentukan karakter anak sejak tahap awal kehidupannya, yang sekaligus menjadi fondasi penting bagi sistem pendidikan nasional. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menelaah berbagai bentuk inovasi kebijakan PAUD dalam mendukung penguatan karakter peserta didik serta mengkaji implikasinya terhadap perkembangan sistem pendidikan nasional secara menyeluruh. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik studi kepustakaan dan analisis kebijakan, yang bersumber dari regulasi pendidikan, literatur ilmiah, serta dokumen resmi pemerintah yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi kebijakan PAUD telah berkembang ke arah integrasi pendidikan karakter dalam kurikulum, peningkatan kompetensi pendidik, serta penguatan kolaborasi antara satuan pendidikan, keluarga, dan lingkungan masyarakat. Selain itu, nilai-nilai karakter seperti religiusitas, nasionalisme, kemandirian, gotong royong, dan integritas telah diterapkan secara sistematis dalam proses pembelajaran di PAUD. Analisis penelitian juga mengungkapkan bahwa keberhasilan implementasi inovasi kebijakan sangat bergantung pada konsistensi pelaksanaan di lapangan, dukungan regulasi yang kuat, serta kesiapan sumber daya pendidik. Walaupun demikian, masih terdapat sejumlah hambatan seperti ketimpangan penerapan kebijakan antarwilayah dan keterbatasan fasilitas pendidikan yang tersedia. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa inovasi kebijakan PAUD memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam membentuk karakter anak sekaligus mendukung pengembangan pendidikan nasional yang berkelanjutan berbasis nilai-nilai karakter. Di samping itu, diperlukan evaluasi kebijakan secara berkelanjutan agar implementasi dapat berjalan lebih efektif dan adaptif terhadap dinamika sosial serta kebutuhan peserta didik. Inovasi ini juga dipahami sebagai investasi jangka panjang dalam menciptakan generasi yang berkarakter kuat, adaptif, serta memiliki daya saing melalui sinergi berbagai pemangku kepentingan.

Abstract

This study explores the phenomenon of digital entrepreneurship among college students in response to rapid technological transformation and evolving career orientations. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, this study examines students' lived experiences in starting and managing digital-based businesses, focusing on their driving factors, challenges, and future career orientations. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with seven students actively involved in digital businesses, then analyzed using the Colaizzi method supported by NVivo 14 software. The findings revealed three interrelated themes: the driving factors for students to become digital entrepreneurs are stimulated by the role of parents, the desire to earn money or income, developing self-skills, challenges faced generally difficult in time management, lack of consistency, difficulty finding customers, limited capital, busy studies, and career orientation as a digital entrepreneur is still lacking because students only consider digital entrepreneurship as an alternative career choice, where the main career choice is working in a company or agency. This study concludes that digital entrepreneurship is not only an economic activity but also a process of identity formation and individual adaptation to a technology-driven economy that needs to be improved. This highlights the importance of developing a sustainable digital entrepreneurship ecosystem in higher education through incubators, mentoring, and experiential learning to foster innovation, independence, and readiness for the digital economy.
