Abstract

In Indonesia, which is rich in cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity, education plays an important role in building tolerance among the younger generation.  In this context, Islamic religious education has a great responsibility not only to teach religious values, but also to instill an attitude of mutual respect and appreciation of differences among students. The purpose of this study is to find out the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in developing social tolerance and social empathy attitudes in high school students at SMAN 1 Pontang and SMAN 1 Tirtayasa. This research uses a qualitative approach, which is a research approach that aims to understand social phenomena in depth and holistically through a descriptive data collection process. The results of this study are that the first implementation of PAI learning at SMAN 1 Pontang and SMAN 1 Tirtayasa has gone well, but it is not optimal in instilling the value of tolerance and social empathy. PAI teachers have tried to instill these values through lectures, discussions, real examples, and examples, but learning still focuses on the knowledge aspect. Second, the attitude of social tolerance of students in both schools shows a fairly good tendency, as seen from their ability to respect differences, work together in groups, and maintain harmonious relationships with peers. Third, the social empathy attitude of students as a whole is in the category of adequate, which is reflected in their ability to understand the feelings of friends, provide help when someone is experiencing difficulties, and show concern for the condition of the classroom environment. Fourth, PAI teachers are considered quite successful in developing students' social tolerance attitudes through exemplary attitudes shown in daily interactions, habituation of mutual respectful behavior, and the integration of tolerance values in materials and learning activities. Fifth, PAI teachers also showed success in fostering students' social empathy through a warm attitude, open communication, and delivery of material that emphasized the value of caring for others.   Keywords: Empathy, PAI Teacher, Tolerance.

Abstract

Background. Quantum computing is a technology that has great potential to revolutionize various scientific disciplines with its extraordinary computing capabilities. Multiple fields, such as cryptography, optimization, and complex simulation, have begun to explore quantum computing applications. However, a deep understanding of how these technologies can be used effectively in cross-disciplinary informatics still needs to be improved. Purpose. This research aims to develop a theoretical framework that explains the role of quantum computing in advancing interdisciplinary informatics. The main focus is to identify potential applications and challenges faced in applying this technology in various fields and evaluate its impact on the development of science and technology. Method. This research uses a qualitative approach, a literature review, and theoretical analysis methods. Data were collected from various academic sources, including journals, books, and conferences relevant to quantum computing and interdisciplinary informatics. Analysis was conducted to identify patterns, themes, and relationships between quantum computing and cross-disciplinary applications. Results. The research results show that quantum computing has the potential to solve complex computational problems in various fields, including cryptography, optimization, and physical simulation. Quantum computing can provide more efficient and faster solutions than classical computing. However, the research also identified several significant challenges, such as the need for quantum-specific algorithms and sophisticated technological infrastructure. Conclusion. Quantum computing is essential in advancing interdisciplinary informatics by providing superior computing capabilities. The theoretical framework developed in this research can be used to further study and develop quantum computing applications in various fields. The identified challenges require special attention to ensure effective and efficient implementation of this technology.

Abstract

The ability to read the Qur’an accurately according to tajwid rules (tahsin al-Qur’an) is a fundamental competence in Islamic education. However, many students at the madrasah tsanawiyah level still experience difficulties in proper pronunciation, fluency, and application of basic tajwid rules. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Talaqqî method and the Yanbū‘a method in improving students’ Qur’anic reading skills at MTs Darul Ma’rifah Rangkasbitung and MTs Daar el Azhar Rangkasbitung. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation involving Qur’anic teachers, school principals, and students. The data were analyzed using an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with triangulation to ensure data validity. The findings indicate that the Talaqqî method is effective in improving the accuracy of pronunciation, particularly in makhārijul ḥurūf and tajwid application, through direct teacher–student interaction and immediate correction. Meanwhile, the Yanbū‘a method contributes significantly to improving reading fluency and learning consistency through a structured and graded instructional system. The study concludes that both methods have complementary strengths, and their integrative application can enhance the overall quality of Qur’anic reading instruction in madrasah tsanawiyah.
