Abstract

Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) is one plant producing bioactive essential oil. This research aims to determine the percentage yield of extracts and GC-MS analysis of chemical compound profiles of lemon grass with various extraction methods. Lemongrass bioactive compounds are extracted using maceration, ultrasonic, and distillation. The highest percentage extract yield was from maceration extraction, namely 14.83%, ultrasonic extraction was 4.68%, and distillation extraction was 6.00%. The GC-MS results showed that the secondary metabolite compounds resulting from maceration, ultrasonic, and distillation contained geraniol, citronellal, and citronellol. The citronella compound group was obtained with the highest percentage from distillation extraction at 14.83%, followed by ultrasonic extraction at 2.23% and maceration extraction at 0.37%.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of internal audit in maintaining financial accountability and transparency in government agencies. Internal audit plays a crucial role in ensuring good governance, transparency in financial management, and fraud prevention. The study identifies key factors that support the role of internal audit, such as strengthening internal control systems, improving auditor competence, and implementing effective audits. Additionally, internal audit provides strategic recommendations to enhance accountability in the public sector. With strict oversight and a robust audit system, government agencies can prevent fraud and maximize budget efficiency. In conclusion, internal audit functions as both a supervisory tool and a strategy to strengthen financial governance and increase public trust.

Abstract

This study investigates the success and vigour of cashew seedlings (Anacardium occidentale L.) through direct seed planting, focusing on its potential to support sustainable land management practices. Using a completely randomised design (CRD), the study applied three treatments: seed coat incision (treatment A), seed coat division (treatment B), and no seed coat treatment (treatment C, control), with each treatment repeated three times, involving 270 seeds in total. The results indicate that the control treatment (C), where seeds were planted intact, led to the highest germination success (97.76%), surpassing the other treatments. This method also resulted in better seedling growth, with superior increases in stem diameter (9.83 cm) and leaf production (3.36 leaves). Additionally, seedlings from the control treatment showed enhanced vigour, with an average height increase of 9.83 cm, indicating the benefits of planting seeds in their natural condition. These findings highlight the importance of direct seed planting in maintaining ecological balance and promoting sustainable agriculture practices. The intact-seed approach is recommended for future cashew planting, as it improves seedling growth, contributes to forest conservation, and reduces vulnerability to pest attacks. Thus, it supports long-term ecological resilience in land management systems. Abstract

This research aims to determine and assess the accountability and transparency of village fund proxy management carried out by the Bakaru Village Government of Pinrang Regency. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques, namely interviews. The results of this study show that the management of village fund allocation in Bakaru is in accordance with the applicable laws regulated in the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 20 of 2018 concerning Village Financial Management. The results of the Management Accountability research in Bakaru Village have been good, both technically and administratively as seen from the information on the management of village fund allocation that can be easily accessed and the implementation of programs that always involve the community. Transparency in the management of village fund allocation in Bakaru Village is also transparent, this can be seen from the existence of easily accessible information and good communication between village officials and the community so that management is considered transparent. Even though the management of village fund allocation in Bakaru Village can be categorized as good, training and coaching on village fund management needs to be intensified by village officials, especially those directly involved in managing village fund allocation to be more directed in accordance with applicable regulations so that accountability and transparency in village fund allocation management can be maintained.

Abstract

Spinach is one of the most common types of green plants in Indonesia. This one plant is a type of vegetable that is easily processed for everyday food, from soup, pecel, gado-gado (Indonesian food), also chips. Amaranthus viridis also known as spinach pull out. In this study, observed the growth of spinach plants with ecoenzyme treatment. The treatment groups were: A (1.5% ecoenzyme), B (3% ecoenzyme), C (4.5% ecoenzyme), D (6% ecoenzyme), E (control/without treatment), F (NPK/ chemical fertilizer). Parameters observed were height, stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf diameter, wet weight and color. This type of research is experimental research and ANOVA data analysis techniques. The duration of the study was 27 days with 9 scheduled observations. Measurements were made in the afternoon, with reference to the observation parameters of stem height, leaf diameter, number of leaves, leaf diameter, leaf color and wet weight. The results of the observations showed that the ecoenzyme treatment was no better than the control and the NPK fertilizers showed that the height, stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf diameter, wet weight and color tended to be smaller. The conclusion of giving ecoenzymes at doses of 1.5%, 3%, 4.5% and 6% does not accelerate and tends to inhibit the growth of spinach (Amaranthus viridis).

Abstract

Pharmacy is a public facility that supplies, distributes, and serves medicine needs. Based on observations, Rania Farma Pharmacy is one of the pharmacies that still uses conventional methods of medicine management. The Pharmacist Assistant has to write down medicine stocks and transactions in a book, calculate sales with the help of a calculator, and monthly reporting by inputting daily sales in the Microsoft Office Excel application which takes quite a long time. This process is prone to human error, such as calculation and recording errors, which can harm pharmacies and consumers. This research uses the Design Thinking method to design a mobile-based pharmacy application based on the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX). Then perform prototype analysis using the System Usability Scale (SUS). Design Thinking includes software development methods focusing on solving human-centered problems. Pharmacy information needs are collected through observation, interviews, and literature study. In designing this information system, it is hoped that it can help medicine management at the Rania Farma Pharmacy. In testing the prototype, the analysis used is the System Usability Scale (SUS). The results of the SUS value were 79.5, which was included in the Good category. Therefore the design of the Pharmacy application can be used and developed to become a better and more useful system for pharmacies.

Abstract

This research explores the value conflict between government interests and user satisfaction in the context of e-government. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this research analyzes how user-oriented approaches can clash with established public values. The findings show that legal accountability is often prioritized by the government, overriding users' needs for more efficient and accessible services. In addition, the government's inability to accommodate inclusive user engagement, especially in digitally-disenfranchised societies, adds to the complexity of the problem. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of a more collaborative approach in the design of government digital services that are not only efficient, but also able to increase inclusivity and public trust. For future research, it is recommended to focus on reducing the digital divide, improving accessibility, and exploring new technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain to support accountability and user satisfaction simultaneously.
