The policy of applying the 2013 curriculum has an impact on the implementation of thematic learning. This study aims to describe the application of thematic learning in SDN 7 Kebumen. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods. The subjects of this study were teacher of class I and teacher of class IV, 5 studens of class I and 5 students of class IV. The students were taken from students with high, medium and low abilities. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used are source triangulation and technical triangulation The results of this study prove that the application of thematic learning has been running in accordance with the 2013 curriculum, teachers and students respond well to the application of thematic learning. But there are still a few obstacles. Among them are apperception and motivation are less memorable for students. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of thematic learning class I and IV in SDN 7 Kebumen is in accordance with the 2013 curriculum, but there needs to be an increase in apperception and motivation.

Recently, traditional game among students, particularly gapyak, have begun to fade and are forgotten due to the times. Gapyak has been replaced by modern technology-based games that have a high level of addiction, resulting in changes in student behavior and habits. They tend to be less socializing with people around. As a result, students lack of communication and collaboration in daily life. This research to foster communication and collaboration of students in SD Negeri 1 Bumirejo. The research subjects were 27 grade V students of SD Negeri 1 Bumirejo. The object of the research is communication and student collaboration in the game Gapyak. The research design is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation sheets and interview sheets which are then described. The results showed that the traditional game Gapyak in communicating "good" criteria with a percentage of 80%, and in cooperation the criteria "good" with a percentage of 83%. This can be seen from observations that show that students are able to communicate, cooperate, and responsible.

The purpose of this study is to describe cooperation and storytelling skills in students in learning.This research is a qualitative descriptive study with observation techniques and questionnaire distribution with sample schools of SD Negeri 5 Panjer Kebumen in 2018/2019 academic year.The results of this study indicate: (1) the application of cooperation in learning causes positive dependence, increases sense of responsibility, facilitates communication, and fosters mutual respect. (2) by improving the ability to tell stories can improve skills in using grammar, accuracy of words and sentences, and fluency in conveying sentences.The conclusion with the application of cooperation in learning can improve storytelling skills.

The aims of service are: (1) describe the implementation of workshop activities and mentoring the implementation of classroom action research (CAR) in sustainable professional development for elementary school teachers, (2) improve the understanding and skills of CAR in Sustainable Professional Development for elementary School Teachers.This Community Service activity uses the transfer of science and technology from universities to stakeholders which includes workshops and mentoring to elementary school teachers in Kebumen district in 2018. The data analysis used is descriptive-qualitative which includes (1) data reduction, (2 ) data presentation, and (3) drawing conclusions or verification of data.The results of this activity are (1) workshop materials and mentoring include: (a) problem formulation techniques in CAR, (b) CAR proposal preparation techniques, (c) CAR implementation techniques, (d) CAR reporting techniques, (e) scientific publication writing techniques, and (f) teacher functional credit score promotion techniques. (2) Workshops and mentoring methods can improve CAR understanding and skills in sustainable professional development for elementary School Teachers

Thematic learning in 2013 curriculum has competence time front that is ability thinking clear and critical. Student could said have ability critical thinking if they pass by 6 steps of Critical thinking. So this study was a purpose was to analyze critical thinking in class 4 students of SD N 2 Kutosari in thematic learning 2013 curriculum. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The research subjects were the fourth grade studenst of SD N 2 Kutosari. Data collection though observation, documentation and interview to the fourth grade student. Result research show ability critical thinking of class 4 student of SDN 2 Kutosari already exists, but students do not always think critically but only in limited learning. conducted students begin to be critical with 47,72% of students able to think critically. So the teacher lures students to think critically based on six step of critical thinking

Hasil evaluasi kinerja guru dan evaluasi diri digunakan untuk menyusun profil kinerja guru sebagai dasar untuk membuat rencana pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi sebagian besar guru SD masih menghadapi kendala dalam pengembangan profesi dan pangkat, yaitu (1) kurangnya keterampilan guru dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran, dan (2) Guru memiliki keterampilan yang rendah dalam mengembangkan karya inovatif. Untuk itu, tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat berharap dapat menindaklanjuti untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, yaitu meningkatkan kemampuan guru SD dalam memahami dan mengembangkan keterampilan video pembelajaran, sebagai karya inovatif bagi guru SD. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan profesionalitas guru dalam pengembangan video sebagai media pembelajaran. Hasil akhir dari kegiatan ini adalah terwujudnya pemahaman dan keterampilan untuk mengembangkan video pembelajaran, serta pengembangan karya inovatif dalam rangka pengembangan profesional berkelanjutan guru sekolah dasar.

The essence of mathematics is aimed at solving everyday problems. However, so far mathematics still a subject that is considered difficult. One factor that influences learning success is self-efficacy. This study aims to analyze the level of self-efficacy of sixth grade students on the results of mathematics learning. The sample in this study were all sixth grade students of SD Negeri 7 Kebumen as many as 20 students. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques use: (1) Questionnaire; and (2) interviews (3) observations and (4) documentation. The analysis used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that: Students in sixth grade SDN 7 Kebumen had varying levels of self-efficacy. Students who have a high level of self-efficacy get high mathematics learning outcomes, because they have confidence or self-efficacy and are more persistent in facing difficulties. Students who have low levels of efficacy get less satisfying learning outcomes.

Analysis of Communication Skills of Grade IV Elementary Students in Learning Entrepreneurship through the SRBP Model in SD N 3 Krakal. This study aims to analyze the communication skills of fourth grade students in Entrepreneurship learning through the SRBP (Scientific Reading Based Project) model or scientific project literacy based learning model at SD N 3 Krakal, Kebumen Regency. The method of data analysis is done by qualitative descriptive analysis. Data retrieval is done by using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The population in this study were students of class IV SD N 3 Krakal, totaling 20 students. The results show that students of grade IV SD N 3 Krakal have a high level of communication skills, both towards the teacher, peers and other people around him. However, some students still have low communication skills, as evidenced when learning he/she just tends to be quiet and shame to argue.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the improvement of students' science process skills through a virtual laboratory based on PHET simulation on electrical materials. This study is a quantitative study using a quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group design. This research was conducted for 6 months on second-semester students, totaling 140 students. The instruments in this research are observations, interviews, and tests. The increase in science process skills was analyzed using the N-Gain value. The results of the analysis show that learning physics through a virtual laboratory based on PHET simulation is proven to improve students' science process skills. The improvement of science process skills in the experimental class was better than in the control class.

Keterampilan abad ke-21 menekankan siswa memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis. Kemampuan berpikir kritis dikembangkan dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga akan memperoleh hasil belajar yang diinginkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis hubungan positif antara kemampuan berpikir kritis aspek menganalisis dengan hasil belajar IPA; (2) menganalisis hubungan positif antara kemampuan berpikir kritis aspek menarik kesimpulan dengan hasil belajar IPA; dan (3) menganalisis hubungan positif antara kemampuan berpikir kritis aspek menganalisis dan menarik kesimpulan dengan hasil belajar IPA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian korelasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) antara kemampuan berpikir kritis aspek menganalisis memiliki korelasi positif dengan hasil belajar IPA nilai Sig. 0,000 dengan nilai koefisien korelasi 0,820; (2) antara kemampuan berpikir kritis aspek menarik kesimpulan memiliki korelasi positif dengan hasil belajar IPA nilai Sig. 0,000 dengan nilai koefisien korelasi 0,816; dan (3) antara kemampuan berpikir kritis aspek menganalisis dan menarik kesimpulan memiliki korelasi positif dengan hasil belajar IPA nilai Sig. 0,000 dengan nilai koefisien korelasi 0,885.
