Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis respon pembaca khususnya pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (PBSI) terhadap unsur fisik puisi "Derai-Derai Cemara" Chairil Anwar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dan wawancara. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun responden penelitian ini berjumlah 53 mahasiswa PBSI yang memberikan penilaian terhadap aspek diksi, pengimajian, kata konkret, majas, versifikasi, serta tingkat ketertarikan terhadap puisi tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 84,9% mahasiswa menilai diksi dalam puisi memiliki nilai estetika tinggi, sementara 86,8% mahasiswa menganggap pengimajian dalam puisi berkontribusi terhadap keindahan. Kata konkret dalam puisi juga dinilai memperkuat pengalaman membaca oleh 71,7% responden, sedangkan 84,9% mahasiswa menyatakan bahwa penggunaan majas sangat menonjol. Dari segi versifikasi, 86,8% mahasiswa menilai bahwa persamaan bunyi menambah keindahan puisi. Secara keseluruhan, tingkat ketertarikan mahasiswa terhadap puisi ini mencapai 62,3%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa PBSI memberikan apresiasi positif terhadap puisi "Derai-Derai Cemara" Chairil Anwar, meskipun terdapat tantangan dalam memahami makna secara langsung.

Abstract

This study explores the contextual interpretation of Islamic law within the framework of Arab countries and Indonesia, emphasizing the historical, social, and political factors that influence their legal systems. It highlights the complexities of implementing Islamic law, particularly concerning human rights and international legal standards. The research critiques the role of monarchies in Arab countries, where legal systems often reflect a blend of traditional Islamic principles and modern secular influences. The study also discusses the challenges these legal systems face in balancing religious mandates with contemporary human rights issues, as highlighted by various international organizations. The findings indicate that while Islamic law provides a fundamental legal framework, its application is significantly shaped by the socio-political context of each Arab country, leading to diverse interpretations and implementations of justice. This study concludes by advocating for a more nuanced understanding of Islamic law that considers both its religious roots and the modern legal landscape.Keywords: Islamic Law; Arab Countries; Human Rights; Legal System; International Law; Socio-Political Context

Abstract

Village development is an integral part of national development aimed at improving community welfare equitably. Democracy in the context of village development is a crucial aspect, considering that citizen participation in decision-making processes can drive more inclusive and needs-oriented policies. The creative economy is an economic sector based on creativity, innovation, and the utilization of culture as its primary resource. The villages surrounding Ma’had Al-Zaytun have various creative economic potentials, such as handicrafts, regional culinary specialties, and traditional performing arts. The goal of this Community Service activity is to strengthen democracy and citizen participation in developing the creative economy in the villages around Ma’had Al-Zaytun, Indramayu. Results of the Community Service Program is the implemented program has had a positive impact on strengthening democracy and developing the creative economy in the villages around Ma’had Al-Zaytun, Indramayu. In terms of democracy, there has been a significant increase in the level of citizen participation in village decision-making processes. Training and mentoring programs have successfully raised awareness among residents about the importance of their involvement in village deliberations and other development activities. Before the program was implemented, the level of citizen participation in village forums was only around 30%, but it increased to 65% after the intervention. Regarding the creative economy, the number of creativity-based businesses has increased by 40% over the past two years. Various creative economy sectors, such as handicrafts, regional culinary specialties, and performing arts, have experienced rapid growth thanks to training in product innovation and marketing strategies. Additionally, collaboration between residents, village governments, academics, and the private sector has strengthened the creative economy ecosystem in the villages. The benefits gained by village residents from this program include increased political and economic literacy, the growth of new business opportunities, and expanded market access through digital platforms and local product exhibitions. Thus, this program not only enhances the economic well-being of residents but also reinforces the sustainability of village development in a participatory and inclusive manner.

Abstract

This study aims to explore strategies that can strengthen the core skills of future teachers of Islamic religious education through the Field Teacher Training Program (PLPK) at STAI Sirojul Falah. In the context of the ever-changing dynamics of education, the presence of strong pedagogical skills is essential for future teachers. This study used a qualitative method with downsizing data collection, data reporting, and interview insights to examine students' experiences during PLPK, as well as challenges they faced such as lack of direct experience and difficulties in managing the classroom. Interviews with students and supervisors have shown that thorough preparation and good support are key to increasing their competence. This study also found that the integration of theory and practice into the learning process is an important factor in the development of basic skills. In addition, character education is considered very important in the interaction between future teachers and students. The results of this study are expected to serve as recommendations for the development of educational programs at STAI Sirojul Falah and provide useful insights into future education policies. The results of the study show that PLPK contributes to the readiness of future teachers to solve problems in this area, as well as supports them in becoming competent and professional teachers.

Abstract

Food security is a strategic issue that requires a governance network approach through multi-stakeholder collaboration. However, students at UIN Alauddin Makassar have a limited understanding of the concept of governance networks and their application in food security policies. This community service activity aims to improve students' understanding of governance networks through book reviews and interactive dialogues. The method used is a participatory approach with experiential learning conducted in three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The activity was held on November 20, 2024, at UIN Alauddin Makassar, involving 50 students from various study programs. The speakers consisted of practitioners from WIKIPangan Sulawesi Selatan and political science lecturers who provided theoretical and practical perspectives. The evaluation employed a mixed-methods approach comprising pre-and post-tests, Focus Group Discussions, and in-depth interviews. The results showed a 41.6% increase in understanding (from a score of 58.4 to 82.7), with 88% of participants achieving a score above 70. There was a 34.2% increase in positive attitudes toward multi-stakeholder collaboration, and 76% of participants expressed interest in actively participating in governance and public policy activities. The activity successfully transformed students' understanding from a theoretical to a practical level and fostered change agents capable of applying governance networks to address food security issues. The long-term impact is the emergence of a generation of leaders who understand the importance of collaboration in public policy.

Abstract

Stroke is a disease with a high mortality and disability rate that requires early detection. However, the main challenge in the classification process of this disease is data imbalance and the large number of irrelevant features in the dataset. This study proposes a combination of Support Vector Machine (SVM) method with Information Gain feature selection technique and data balancing using Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) to improve classification accuracy. The dataset used consists of 5,110 data with 10 variables and 1 label. Feature selection was performed with three threshold values (0.04; 0.01; and 0.0005), while SVM classification was tested on three different kernels: Linear, RBF, and Polynomial. Model evaluation was performed using Confusion Matrix and training and test data sharing using k-fold cross validation with k=10. The best results were obtained on the RBF kernel with Cost=100 and Gamma=5 parameters at an Information Gain threshold of 0.0005, with accuracy reaching 90.51%. These results show that the combination of techniques used aims to determine the variables that most affect SVM classification in detecting stroke disease

Abstract

ABSTRACT Adolescence is a transition period from childhood to adulthood. During this period, adolescents will experience development in all aspects/functions to enter adulthood. This adolescent period lasts between the ages of 13 years to 22 years for men and 12 years to 21 years for women (Hapsari, 2019). During adolescence, many major changes will occur, one of the changes that occurs is the increase in sexual hormones and the physical development of sexual organs and reproductive organs. Adolescence is often a time when teenagers engage in sexual behavior. Abstract

The purpose of this article is to discuss the integration of religion and science in the perspective of Seyyed Hossein Nasr. The urgency of this study is to know and understand how the integration of religion and science in the perspective of Seyyed Hossein Nasr. The results of the study concluded that Sayyed Hossein Nasr, a Muslim intellectual, provided an alternative view of the relationship between religion and science. He criticized the secular approach in modern science that ignores the spiritual dimension of man. Instead, Nasr proposed the concept of scientia sacra that integrates science with spirituality. This concept is supported by the principle of unitas (the unity of all things) and cosmic hierarchy (the relationship between god, man, and nature). By studying the history of science in Islam, Nasr shows that the integration of religion and science is not new. However, he also criticized the secularization of modern science that has eliminated the spiritual dimension. Nasr's thinking has far-reaching implications, especially in education and in dealing with contemporary challenges such as environmental and ethical issues.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the procurement of library facilities at SMA Negeri 01 Pedamaran, Ogan Komering Ilir. The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected from five informants through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis process involved data collection, presentation, verification, and conclusion drawing, with data validity ensured through triangulation. The findings indicate that the procurement of library facilities at SMA Negeri 01 Pedamaran has been implemented through stages including needs analysis, procurement planning, budgeting, procurement execution, and evaluation. Supporting factors include competent human resources and government policies, while inhibiting factors encompass unmet user needs, limited space capacity, and socio-cultural changes

Abstract

Learning process that takes place definitely requires a teaching material. Teaching materials are needed that can facilitate student in ongoing learnings processed. One planner and designedly learnings experiences to helped student's masters’ learnings of them is using the learnings method in the forms of the learnings module. Modules is a formed of teachings materials that's is packages in a complete and systematically manners whichever containing a set of objectively. The module is arranged Project Based Learning (PjBL) method. The purposes of this studying are to determine the validitys and Practicalities of the developer’s mathematics modules. The types of researchers conducted was Research and Development (R&D) used the ADDIE models developments methods (analysist, designed, developments, implementations, and evaluations). Location This researcher took place at SMP Plus Al Hadi with class VII students as researchers subjects. The datas analysist techniques uses is Quantitative in the former of validity analysist and practicality analysis. The resulted of the researchers shows that's the developed module is valid and practical. The mathematics modules declare validates bases on the Validations resulting from media's exports and materials experts. The resulted of validation by media's expert's Obtained a value of 75% (valid) and the resulted of Validation by materials expert's Obtained a value of 82.69% (valid). After beings validates, the modules are then texted on students to find out the Practicality of the module. There trials were carrier outs in two's states, nameless a limiters scale trial and a large-scale trial. In the limiter trials phases, a value of 84.58% (p-tactical) was obtained and in the large-scale trial stage, a value of 86.29% (very practical) was obtained. Thusly, it's Can's he concludes that's the developed PjBL-based mathematics module it's suitably fors used in learnings.
