Abstract

Research has been conducted to separate amino acids using thin layer chromatography (CLT) by determining the retention factor (Rf) value. Amino acids are important components of proteins that have various functions in the body. KLT is a simple chromatographic method that is often used to separate and identify chemical components in a mixture. In this study, KLT was used to separate four types of amino acids, namely histidine, tryptophan, glycine, and alanine. The KLT procedure includes silica plate preparation, sample bottling, chromatogram formation by elution of various solvents, and determination of the Rf value of each sample. The results showed that each amino acid sample has a different Rf value due to differences in the polarity of each amino acid to the stationary phase of the silica plate and the solvent used. However, the Rf values obtained are not in accordance with the theory because there are errors in the preparation of silica plates. AbstrakPenelitian telah dilakukan untuk memisahkan asam amino menggunakan kromatografi lapis tipis (KLT) dengan menentukan nilai faktor retensi (Rf). Asam amino adalah komponen penting dari protein yang memiliki berbagai fungsi dalam tubuh. KLT merupakan metode kromatografi sederhana yang sering digunakan untuk memisahkan dan mengidentifikasi komponen kimia dalam suatu campuran. Dalam penelitian ini, KLT digunakan untuk memisahkan empat jenis asam amino, yaitu histidin, triptofan, glisin, dan alanin. Prosedur KLT mencakup persiapan pelat silika, penotolan sampel, pembentukan kromatogram dengan elusi berbagai pelarut, dan penentuan nilai Rf setiap sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setiap sampel asam amino memiliki nilai Rf yang berbeda karena perbedaan kepolaran masing-masing asam amino terhadap fase diam pelat silika dan pelarut yang digunakan. Namun, nilai Rf yang diperoleh belum sesuai dengan teori karena terdapat kesalahan dalam persiapan pelat silika.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to model the effect of returns and trading volume on the bid-ask spread using monthly and annual data during the Covid-19 Pandemic, as well as compare the panel data regression model to see the effect of returns and trading volume on the bid-ask spread based on monthly data periods and annually during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The results showed that the best model for monthly and annual data during the Covid-19 Pandemic was a random effect data model with individual effects or cross sections. In the random effect data model with individual effects or cross-section for monthly data, it is found that volume has a significant effect on the bid-ask spread at a significant level of 5%. Meanwhile, for annual data, it is found that returns have a significant effect on the bid-ask spread at a significant level of 5%. The best model based on monthly and annual data periods is the random effects data model with individual effects or cross sections using annual data.

Abstract

This research aims to implement the Apriori algorithm in a web-based fruit sales application to discover consumer purchasing patterns and provide appropriate product recommendations. The dataset used consists of 10 fruit sales transactions. The fruit sales transaction data is then analyzed using the Apriori algorithm to identify frequently purchased product combinations. The analysis results are then used to provide accurate product recommendations to customers. Implementation is carried out by calculating the support, confidence, and lift ratio values for each product combination based on transaction data. Association rules with a support value of 30% and confidence of 60% found sweet fragrant mango, murcot australian orange, and fuji88 apple, which are then used to provide recommendations to relevant customers. This research aims to improve product recommendation accuracy, customer satisfaction, and overall sales efficiency in the fruit sales industry.

Abstract

Pelatihan pembuatan palu terak dirancang untuk memberikan siswa pengalaman langsung dalam proses pembuatan alat yang penting dalam industri logam. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi teknis dan keterampilan praktis siswa dalam bidang manufaktur, khususnya teknik permesinan dan pengerjaan logam. Melalui pelatihan ini, siswa akan mempelajari berbagai tahapan pembuatan palu terak, mulai dari desain, pemilihan material, proses pembentukan, hingga penyelesaian akhir (finishing). Proses ini mencakup teknik seperti pemotongan, pengelasan, permesinan, dan perlakuan panas untuk memastikan alat yang dihasilkan memiliki kualitas yang sesuai dengan standar industri.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan berbagai sumber water soluble carbohydrate (WSC) terhadap kualitas silase rumput Pakchong. Perlakuan terdiri atas 3 perlakuan dimana tiap perlakuan terdapat 8 ulangan. Faktor yang diamati adalah macam sumber WSC. Perlakuan adalah sebagai berikut: 1. Rumput Pakchong dengan tanpa penambahan sumber WSC sebagai Kontrol, 2. Rumput Pakchong dengan ditambah 4% tepung tapioka, dan 3. Rumput Pakchong ditambah 4% Molasses. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Pola Searah. Hasil yang berbeda nyata akan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan (Duncan’s New Multiple Range Test). Data skor kualitas fisik silase dianalisis menggunakan uji Deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat diketahui bahwa silase yang dihasilkan pada perlakuan P0 (tanpa aditif), P1 (tepung tapioka) dan P2 (molases) memiliki skor warna, bau, tekstur yang setara, namun pada penilaian gumpal dan jamur, silase pada perlakuan P1 menghasilkan skor yang cenderung lebih baik dibanding silase P0 dan P2. Bahan kering tertinggi didapatkan pada Silase P1, sedangkan pH terendah didapatkan pada silase P2. Skor Fleigh tertinggi dihasilkan oleh silase P2, sedangkan silase P1 dan P0 memiliki skor Fleigh yang setara. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa P2 memiliki kualitas silase yang lebih baik dibanding P0 dan P1. Kata kunci: Rumput Pakchong, Kualitas, Silase, Water Soluble Carbohydrate

Abstract

Security evaluation on Android devices is critical so that users of the operating system are protected from malware attacks such as remote access trojans that can steal users' credential data. Remote access trojan (RAT) attacks can be anticipated by detecting vulnerabilities in applications and systems. This study simulates a remote access trojan attack by exploiting it until the Attacker gains full access to the victim's device. The episode is carried out with several steps: creating a payload, installing applications to the victim's device, connecting listeners, and performing exploits to retrieve important information on the victim's device. Test material using Android 12, problems occurred when trying to install the application because a harmful warning will appear from Play Protect due to not using the latest version of privacy protection which causes the application to be indicated as malware and the like. On Android 11, the application injected with the backdoor was successfully installed on the device and successfully accessed by the attacker. Attackers also get vital information, including system information, contacts, call logs, messages, and full access to the victim's device system directory. Based on this research, it is expected that Android device users constantly update the Android version on the device they are using.

Abstract

In this study, it aims to make it easier for farmers to do watering. here researchers use chili plants, because chili is one of the human food needs. The sensor components used in this plant watering prototype tool are soil moisture sensors, ESP 8266 modules, DHT 11 sensors, RTC (Real Time Clock) and buzzers. And for the microcontroller used by researchers is the Arduino Mega 2560. Researchers use Arduino Mega 2560 because it has more memory than Arduino Uno. This tool uses energy from solar power to power it. Researchers use solar panels to generate electricity from the heat of the sun. Solar energy absorbed by solar panels will be converted into electrical energy by the Solar Charge Controller (SCC), and the electrical energy will be stored in a special battery, namely a Lithium ion battery. From the basic testing of chili plant sprinklers that have been carried out as a whole, the pump waters the chili plants based on soil moisture with humidity (<50%) and a predetermined time. When the soil moisture (>70%) the pump will stop watering, and the specified watering time is 3x a day. To set the time of the watering schedule, researchers use the ESP 8266 module so that it can be set through the BLYNK application on a cellphone. Researchers also apply manual schedule settings on the panel box by pressing the switch button. With the creation of this Arduino-based Automatic Plant Sprinkler prototype with Solar Panel Resources to make it easier for chili farmers to produce a satisfying harvest, and save time when watering.

Abstract

For land clearing from grass plants that surround the land, it is necessary to cut the grass. So the author here makes a prototype of a lawn mower using an Arduino control. This Arduino lawn mower uses a DC motor to drive the blades. The speed of the dc motor for this lawn mower is regulated by the L298N Driver programmed using an Arduino uno which can be adjusted using the keypad speed. The methods and procedures used are, field observations, planning, collecting materials, making portotypes, making Arduino programs and conducting experiments. The test results from this study indicate that this prototype works according to its design, where if humans use this tool it will be easier to adjust the speed of the lawn mower itself by pressing the keypad and it will automatically appear on the LCD with a PWM limit of NYS 225.

Abstract

Di era teknologi informasi saat ini, salah satu hal yang sangat penting adalah internet. Tanpa penggunaan teknologi internet, hal ini tidak terpikirkan di era informasi. Karena banyaknya persyaratan akses dan komunikasi, jaringan harus berfungsi dengan baik. Operator jaringan dan penyedia layanan internet (ISP) harus mampu menyelesaikan masalah utama, yaitu memberikan layanan yang baik sehingga pelanggan dapat menikmati layanan yang nyaman dan layanan yang baik. Internet sering digunakan untuk layanan video streaming seperti YouTube dan Netflix. Seiring dengan bertambahnya pengguna, membuat internet lambat yang bisa disebabkan dari layanan internet yang lambat, gangguan pada ISP, dan kelebihan device yang terhubung ke modem. Dengan internet yang lambat menyebabkan buffering, rebuffering, dan kualitas video yang buruk. Oleh karena itu diperlukannya analisis Quality of Service jaringan internet Fiber Optic pada layanan First Media dengan tujuan mengetahui kualitas jaringan berdasarkan parameter QoS (delay, throughput, jitter, packet loss). Pada analisis ini menggunakan metode Action Research dengan software Wireshark dan Axence netTools 5. Berdasarkan hasil analisis QOS dengan software Wireshark mendapatkan hasil rata-rata throughput sebesar 47.285 kbps dengan kategori jelek, packet loss sebesar 0% dengan kategori sangat bagus, delay sebesar 66.24 ms dengan kategori bagus, jitter sebesar 66.21 dengan kategori sedang. Software Axence netTools 5 mendapatkan hasil rata-rata throughput sebesar 1354.033 kbps dengan kategori sedang sedang, packet loss sebesar 0.08% dengan kategori sangat bagus, delay sebesar 17.05 ms dengan kategori sangat bagus, jitter sebesar 51.08 dengan kategori sedang. Dari hasil analisa 2 software bahwa kualitas layanan internet ISP First Media dalam kategori “Kurang Memuaskan” dengan persentase 68,75%.

Abstract

Mathematics learning is often considered difficult by students, so an effective approach is needed to improve students' critical thinking skills and learning motivation. This study aims to compare the effect of realistic mathematics learning approaches and scientific approaches on critical thinking skills and learning motivation of fifth grade students at Kebonsari 04 Elementary School, Jember Regency. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a treatment by levels design. The population of this study was fifth grade students consisting of two classes, VA and VB, with a total of 56 students selected through a simple random sampling technique. The instruments used in this study were critical thinking ability tests and learning motivation questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics, two-way ANAVA tests and Tukey's advanced tests. The results showed significant differences in the critical thinking skills of students who took realistic mathematics learning compared to the scientific approach, both in students with high and low learning motivation. The realistic mathematics approach was more effective in improving students' critical thinking skills, especially for those with high learning motivation. However, the scientific approach still made a positive contribution to developing students' scientific abilities. Keywords: realistic mathematics, learning motivation, scientific learning
