Abstract

This research examines the role of ter-ater traditions in the social stability of Madurese society, especially in Blumbungan Village, Pamekasa Regency using Talcott Parsons' functionalist theory approach. The issue raised is how the ter-ater tradition contributes to social balance at the village level and its role in strengthening relations between residents. The aim of this research is to analyze the impact of ter- ater traditions on the social structure and stability of village communities. The method used is qualitative research using observation and interview techniques with community leaders, traditional leaders and residents of Blumbungan Village. The results of research on the Ter-Ater tradition have proven effective in maintaining social order in Blumbungan Village. Ter-Ater functions as a medium to strengthen relations between residents, solving social problems. In the perspective of Talcott Parsons' functionalist theory, ter-ater acts as an important element in the social structure of Blumbungan Village which maintains social harmony and balance. Ter-Ater strengthens social ties between citizens and ensures positive interactions that support stability despite the challenges of globalization and modernization.

Abstract

Program Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) di SMP Telkom Makassar bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan siswa dalam mengolah data melalui pengalaman belajar yang melibatkan mahasiswa sebagai pengajar. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pengenalan teknik analisis data, yang meliputi penyajian data dalam tabel, diagram, grafik, dan peringkasan data menggunakan teknik statistik seperti mean, median, dan modus. Selain itu, siswa juga dilibatkan dalam pengelolaan data menggunakan perangkat lunak seperti Excel, Google Sheets dan Programming. Melalui metode ceramah, demonstrasi, dan latihan mandiri, siswa tidak hanya mempelajari teori, tetapi juga memperoleh keterampilan praktis yang dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Selama pelaksanaan PPL, mahasiswa bertanggung jawab dalam merencanakan dan menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), serta mengimplementasikan strategi pengajaran yang melibatkan teknologi untuk mendukung pemahaman siswa. Namun, tantangan utama yang dihadapi adalah pengelolaan kelas dan kedisiplinan siswa yang terkadang mengganggu kelancaran proses pembelajaran. Untuk itu, diperlukan pengelolaan kelas yang efektif agar suasana belajar tetap kondusif. Proses evaluasi dan refleksi juga menjadi bagian penting dalam peningkatan kualitas pengajaran, yang melibatkan umpan balik dari siswa dan guru. Hasil dari pelaksanaan PPL ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam mengolah dan menganalisis data dengan pendekatan yang variatif dan penggunaan teknologi. Meskipun terdapat tantangan dalam pengelolaan kelas, kegiatan PPL ini memberikan dampak positif dalam pengembangan keterampilan siswa dan mahasiswa sebagai calon pendidik.

Abstract

In general, the Qur'an is defined as a book containing a collection of Allah's words, a miracle revealed to the Prophet Muhammad. The creation of the universe has been explained in the Qur'an with various natural phenomena that are shown to be strong factors to show that this universe has a creator and cannot stand alone. Then, cosmology is a branch of metaphysics, namely as a science that investigates and studies the cosmos (universe) which is usually defined as everything other than God Almighty. This study uses a library research design that aims to obtain information and integrate science and Islam. From these opinions, we can take the understanding that cosmology is the initial theory of the creation of the universe, who created it, when it was created, how the process was and so on. There are several famous theories in the creation of the universe, such as the big bang theory, the steady state theory, the oscillation theory and the balloon theory. Islam and science are two aspects that are always related, the emergence of the discipline of cosmology in natural science as a result of philosophical questions about the creation of the universe. Islam, with its book of guidance, is able to answer and provide a solution to the curiosity of people who question the creation of the universe.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance the competence of teachers at SD Negeri 19 Rangas, Majene Regency, in utilizing Kahoot, an interactive and engaging online learning platform, to address the challenges of online education and improve teaching quality. The program employed a combination of lectures, hands-on practice, discussions, and evaluations. Conducted on July 13, 2023, the training involved 18 participants and emphasized practical engagement to ensure effective skill development. The training achieved a 90% attendance rate and demonstrated high enthusiasm among participants, as reflected in active participation during practical sessions and discussions. Evaluations indicated an 85% understanding of the processes and a 90% success rate in achieving learning objectives. The program effectively enhanced teachers’ capacity to integrate Kahoot into their teaching, fostering interactive and engaging learning environments. It addressed key online learning challenges, such as lack of engagement, while improving pedagogical outcomes. The training successfully equipped teachers with the necessary skills to utilize Kahoot as an innovative learning tool, contributing to improved teaching practices and student engagement in online education.

Abstract

Penerapan web server dalam dunia perkantoran belakangan ini menjadi hal yang cukup penting, sebagai akibat adanya perkembangan aplikasi-aplikasi pendukung konvensional (Desktop-Based Application) yang sudah mulai bergeser menuju ke aplikasi berbasis web (Web-Based Applications). Dalam kenyataannya, penerapan web server di suatu perusahaan tidak cukup dengan hanya satu web server, untuk efektifitas kerja dari web server itu sendiri. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian kali ini penulis mencoba untuk menerapkan teknik failover pada high availability clustering web server. Berdasarkan metode penelitian yang telah penulis lakukan dimulai dengan analisa kebutuhan, desain, testing hingga implementasi dan pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka, maka penerapan teknik failover pada high availability web server clustering adalah sebagai upaya untuk meminimalisir kegagalan akses yang mungkin terjadi kapan saja mengingat keadaan perangkat yang harus standby setiap saat, dimana nantinya setelah teknik ini diterapkan, maka saat server utama mengalami kegagalan akses pada aplikasi di dalam web server, akses tersebut secara otomatis akan di alihkan ke server ke-dua.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology (ICT) requires the world of education to adapt, especially in the learning process. Teachers as the frontline in education must have competence in utilizing ICT, one of which is through the use of Google Workspace. This study aims to improve teachers' competence in utilizing Google Workspace through training activities. The method used is training with a participatory approach and hands-on practice. This activity was carried out in the form of workshops attended by teachers from various levels of education, focusing on the utilization of Google applications such as Google Classroom, Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Meet. The results of the activity show an increase in teachers' understanding and skills in operating Google Workspace, which has an impact on increasing the effectiveness of online and offline learning. This training also encourages teachers to be more creative in preparing teaching materials, managing digital classes, and building better interactions with students. The conclusion of this activity is that training on the use of Google Workspace is effective in improving teacher competence in the use of learning technology. It is expected that similar activities can be carried out in a sustainable manner to support digital transformation in education.

Abstract

Transformasi digital telah membuka peluang besar dalam dunia pendidikan, termasuk dalam pengajaran Qur’an dan Hadist. Media digital interaktif hadir sebagai solusi inovatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran melalui pendekatan yang menarik, partisipatif, dan sesuai dengan karakteristik generasi digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi model integrasi media digital interaktif dalam pembelajaran Qur’an dan Hadist, serta meninjau kesiapan guru dan siswa dalam implementasinya. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif-tematik terhadap berbagai sumber ilmiah terkait. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa media digital seperti aplikasi mobile, video animasi, dan platform e-learning mampu meningkatkan pemahaman, minat, dan keterlibatan siswa secara signifikan. Namun demikian, tantangan seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur dan kurangnya keterampilan guru masih menjadi hambatan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan literasi digital, pelatihan guru, dan dukungan kebijakan sekolah sebagai strategi penting untuk mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan media digital dalam pembelajaran Qur’an dan Hadist secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Sistem merit merupakan salah satu bagian penting dari agenda reformasi birokrasi untuk membangun birokrasi yang professional dan berintegritas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menyusun strategi optimalisasi implementasi sistem merit dalam pengelolaan Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) di Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan (KLHK). Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif yang berfokus pada pencarian fakta aktual, selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan model Edward III dan matriks analisis model SOAR. Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan bahwa ada tiga aspek penerapan sistem merit yang belum mencapai nilai optimal (100%), yaitu aspek pengembangan karier (82%), aspek promosi dan mutasi (75%), dan aspek manajemen kinerja (90%). Hal ini disebabkan beberapa hambatan, antara lain, 1) road map sistem merit KLHK belum tersusun secara lengkap dan regulasi pengaturan pola karier belum ditetapkan oleh pejabat yang berwenang, 2) pemetaan profil seluruh ASN KLHK belum terselesaikan sepenuhnya (belum terbangun talent pool KLHK), 3) manajemen talenta ASN KLHK belum dapat dilaksanakan sesuai amanat Permen LHK Nomor 7 Tahun 2021, 4) pengembangan kompetensi ASN KLHK belum sepenuhnya berdasarkan pada hasil pengukuran kompetensi dan penilaian kinerja, 5) struktur birokrasi KLHK yang kompleks dengan jumlah pegawai di atas 15.000 pegawai memengaruhi pelaksanaan penilaian kinerja dan pengukuran kompetensi pegawai, 6) regulasi terkait promosi dan mutasi belum disusun dan ditetapkan, termasuk NSPK dan SOP penerapan sistem merit secara rinci, 7) penyebaran informasi implementasi sistem merit belum optimal dilakukan oleh pemangku kepentingan, serta belum sepenuhnya memanfaatkan teknologi informasi berupa e-government dalam Sistem Pemerintahan Berbasis Elektronik (SPBE) yang saat ini dikelola Pusat Data dan Informasi KLHK (kelemahan faktor komunikasi, dan 8) parsialitas pengeloaan data kepegawaian menghambat percepatan penyelesaian pemetaan talenta atau profil ASN KLHK, sehingga menjadi kendala penerapan sistem manajemen talenta di KLHK. Ada beberapa strategi dalam upaya optimalisasi implementasi kebijakan sistem merit dalam pengelolaan ASN KLHK, yaitu 1) penyusunan road map sistem merit KLHK, 2) pengembangan karier ASN KLHK berbasis kompetensi dan kinerja, 3) penerapan sistem manajemen talenta ASN KLHK, 4) pengembangan kompetensi ASN KLHK, 5) penerapan sistem manajemen kinerja ASN, 6) penyusunan dan penetapan sistem promosi dan mutasi, 7) pengoptimalan penggunaan Personal Assesment Center KLHK, 8) penerapan transformasi digital. Dengan menerapkan strategi tersebut, pencapaian nilai penerapan sistem merit KLHK diharapkan akan optimal. Merit system is one of the part important from the bureaucratic reform agenda for build professional and integrity bureaucracy. The purpose of this study is to develop a strategy for optimizing the implementation of the merit system in ASN management at the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. This research method is qualitative research with a descriptive approach that focuses on finding actual facts, then the data is analyzed using the Edward III model and the SOAR model analysis matrix. The results of this study illustrate that there are three aspects of the implementation of the merit system that have not reached optimal values (100%), namely career development aspects (82%), promotion and mutation aspects (75%), and performance management aspects (90%). This is due to several obstacles, including, 1) the road map of the KLHK merit system has not been completely prepared and the regulations governing career patterns have not been determined by the authorized official, 2) the mapping of the profiles of all KLHK ASN has not been fully completed, 3) KLHK ASN talent management has not been implemented according to the mandate of PermenLHK Number 7 of 2021, 4) the development of KLHK ASN competencies has not been fully based on the results of competency measurements and performance assessments, 5) the complex bureaucratic structure of KLHK with the number of employees above 15,000 employees affect the implementation of performance assessments and employee competency measurements, 6) regulations related to promotions and transfers have not been prepared and determined, including the NSPK and SOP for the implementation of the merit system in detail, 7) the dissemination of information on the implementation of the merit system has not been optimally carried out by stakeholders, and has not fully utilized Information Technology in the form of e-Government in the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) which is currently managed by the KLHK Data and Information Center (Weaknesses in communication factors, and 8) partiality in personnel data management hinders the acceleration of the completion of talent mapping or KLHK ASN profiles, thus becoming an obstacle to the implementation of the talent management system at KLHK. There are several strategies in an effort to optimize the implementation of the merit system policy in the management of ASN LHK, as follows, 1) preparation of the road map of the KLHK merit system, 2) career development of KLHK ASN based on competency and performance, 3) implementation of the KLHK ASN talent management system, 4) development of KLHK ASN competencies, 5) implementation of the ASN performance management system, 6) preparation and determination of the promotion and mutation system, 7) optimization of the use of the KLHK Personal Assessment Center, 8) implementation of digital transformation. By implementing these strategies, it is possible to achieve the optimal value of the implementation of the KLHK merit system.

Abstract

The aim of this development research is to identify the needs for a Tracer Study application that covers alumni absorption and user satisfaction in the Educational Technology Department of FIP UNM, to design the Tracer Study application, and to measure the level of validity and practicality of the application from the alumni's perspective. The research method used is a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the Alessi & Trollip development model, which consists of three main stages: planning, design, and development. Data collection techniques included observation and questionnaires. This research was conducted in the Faculty of Education, Department of Educational Technology, with 25 alumni and 2 lecturers as research subjects. The results show that alumni have a high need for a Tracer Study application as a medium for tracking graduates. The application was designed using the Kodular platform, featuring a homepage with a welcome message, user guide, and login access. The application consists of six main pages, including a dashboard, alumni data, and a profile questionnaire. The validity test was carried out in two stages: an alpha test by a media design expert which resulted in a “very good” qualification, and a content expert assessment which resulted in a “good” qualification. A beta test was conducted through trials with a small group of alumni selected through random sampling, resulting in a “good” qualification. Trials with a larger group also showed a “good” qualification. In conclusion, the developed Tracer Study application is proven to be valid and practical for use by alumni of the Educational Technology Department at FIP UNM as a tool for tracking graduate data and evaluating academic programs.   Keywords: educational technologi alumni, development, tracer study

Abstract

Permasalahan yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya tinkat keaktifan belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran pendidikan Pancasila. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat proses dan hasil penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif Think Pair Share (TPS) di kelas IV UPTD SDN 78 Parepare untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar peserta didik. Penelitiani ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Karena subjek penelitian terdiri dari satu guru dan 18 peserta didik. Observasi dan dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam tiga siklus. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa Siklus I proses pembelajaran berada pada kualifikasi kurang (K) dan keaktifan belajar peserta didik berada kategori Rendah. Siklus II, proses pembelajaran berada dikualifikasi cukup (C) dan keaktifan belajar peserta didik berada kategori Sedang. Pada siklus III, proses pembelajaran mencapai kualifikasi baik (B), dan keaktifan belajar peserta didik meningkat ke kategori Tinggi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) dapat meningkatkan proses pembelajaran dan keaktifan belajar peserta didik dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila.
