Abstract

One of the Indonesian government's efforts to provide equal education for disabilities is by implementing inclusive education. Inclusive education gives special needs (SEN) students have the same opportunity to get education together in class with the typical students of their age and obtain equal education services. So, inclusive education concept understanding is needed to provide information about inclusive education. Therefore, this article's arrangement provides information about inclusive education's definition, legal basis, characteristics, and aims. The current study method used a literature review of five books and 17 articles. It showed that inclusive education is the education service given to the unique needs students to have equal opportunity to school in the regular school and obtain equal service. The implementation of inclusive education had been regulating by international regulations and, in more detail, regulated by Indonesian government regulations. The characteristics of inclusive education must consider the interests of the disabilities and their flexibility to create an education that could run well and lasts long. In addition to imposing equal educational rights without any differentiation and optimizing special needs students' potential, inclusive education could also increase the interaction of special needs students.

Abstract

Teachers' perception of inclusive education becomes an important indicator in evaluating the success of inclusive education. Teachers who have a positive perception of inclusive education will have a more controlled learning environment. This study used a survey method that investigates the current views of elementary school teachers toward inclusive education by exploring their perceptions. The respondents of this study are 70 elementary school teachers in East Java Province. This study found that: (1) There was no difference perception of teachers in primary schools concerning the concept of inclusive education, placement of students with disabilities, and processing of learning in inclusive classrooms; (2) Teachers' perceptions in primary schools towards inclusive education was not influenced by their duties as regular and special education teachers; (3) There are differences in perceptions of inclusive education based on the amount of training they followed; (4) There are differences in teachers' perceptions of inclusive education based on the length of teachers' experience teaching students with disabilities. Teachers' perceptions of inclusive education can be measured from three dimensions: the inclusion concept, disability student placement, and learning management.

Abstract

The environment is a key factor in improving healthy full-day school activities. It has a direct impact on the creation of children’s learning enjoyment. The purposes of this research are to explore students' perspectives on Student Friendly Behavior, Environment Care Culture and their effects on the creation of Clean and Healthy schools. This research involved 242 Elementary School teachers as participants in the City of Malang. Data were collected through a questionnaire and analyzed employing the Path analysis technique. Results indicated that both student-friendly behavior and environmental care culture influenced the creation of healthy and clean schools. School leaders need to be a concern on this factor in building effective schooling systems. Other studies are suggested to focus on wider targets in order to gain more comprehensive findings on this environment factor

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of collaborative learning given by teachers to children with special needs in inclusive schools at the junior high school level.The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach, while data collection uses observation, interviews, and documentation techniques for three teachers at SMP Diponegoro Batu.The results of the study indicate that the application of Collaborative learning given to children with special needs has been implemented quite well. This good implementation can be seen from the existence of special supervisor teachers from schools, the acceptance of students from various disabilities, and cooperation between classroom teachers and special supervisors. This collaboration makes the achievement of learning objectives in a class where there are normal students and students with special needs

Abstract

Abstract: This research purpose to describe (1) the level of quality facilities to support free education received by the student of SMPN in Blitar City; (2) the level of learning motivation junior high schools student in Blitar city; and (3) the relationship provising free educational support facilities with learning motivation junior high school student in Blitar city. This research uses descriptive quantitative approach with descriptive research design correlation based on quantitative data obtained from empirical data. The research location in the SMP as the city of Blitar, amounting to 9 schools. With a sample size of 380 students who were taken using proportional random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used is a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The analysis prerequisite test is validity, reliability, and test for normality. While the analysis of the data in this study using the technique of Pearson product moment correlation analysis The results showed that the level of provision of facilities to support free education in middle category with an average of 126,74 (60,3%), and the level of learning motivation also are in the category with an average of 89,30 (76,6%). Simultaneously there is a positive and significant relationship between the provising of support facilities for free education and learning motivation of junior high school student in Blitar city.Keyword: Support facilities, Free educational, and learning motivation. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) tingkat kualitas fasilitas pendukung pendidikan gratis yang diterima peserta didik SMPN se Kota Blitar; (2) tingkat motivasi belajar peserta didik SMPN se Kota Blitar; dan (3) hubungan pemberian fasilitas pendukung pendidikan gratis dan motivasi belajar peserta didik SMPN se Kota Blitar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian deskriptif korelasi berdasarkan pada data kuantitatif yang diperoleh dari data empirik. Lokasi penelitian di SMPN se Kota Blitar yang berjumlah 9 sekolah. Dengan jumlah sampel 380 peserta didik yang diambil menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah instrumen penelitian dalam bentuk angket/kuesioner. Uji prasyarat analisis yang digunakan yaitu uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, dan uji normalitas. Sedangkan analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi Product Moment Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemberian fasilitas pendukung pendidikan gratis berada pada kategori sedang yaitu dengan rata-rata 126,74 (60,3%), dan tingkat motivasi belajar peserta didik juga berada pada kategori sedang dengan rata-rata 89,30 (76,6%). Secara simultan terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara pemberian fasilitas pendukung pendidikan gratis dengan motivasi belajar peserta didik SMPN se Kota Blitar.Kata Kunci: Fasilitas pendukung, Pendidikan gratis, dan motivasi belajar

Abstract

Abstrak : This study aims to find out, (1) steps the school principal creates religious culture, (2) forms of religious culture in schools, (3) ways of socializing and implementing religious culture, (4) support of teachers and school members in creating religious culture, ( 5) how to overcome the problem of creating a religious culture. This research uses a qualitative approach design, with a case study research design. The location of this research is at Public SHS 9 Malang. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The analysis technique used is reduction, data display, and data verification. The results of this study (1) the step of the school principal creating a religious culture begins with a meeting consisting of a core team to design an outline of the relevant activities then in consultation with the teachers, (2) the forms of religious culture in the school are Dhuha pray, DhuhurPray and AsrPray in congregation, study of the yellow book, Friday prayers in congregation and princess activities, non-Muslim students religious guidance, training to become qotib, istighosah, ramadhanpondok activities, Commemoration of Islamic Holidays, (3) socialization and implementation of Religious culture through social media, print , electronics, school websites, and verbally. While the implementation is a strategy that has been designed from the stages of planning, implementing, and habituating in daily life in the school environment, (4) teacher and school community support in creating a religious culture including, the teacher goes to the mosque when he hears the call to prayer, starts the lesson by praying, and encourage students to pray Dhuha before the lesson begins, students lead literacy, students become qotib, educational staff every Friday-morning at the morning apple to deliver information on activities carried out on that day. Parental support is parents doing zakat fitrah and zakat mal at school, the establishment of a school mosque is an idea and contribution from parents of students; (5) The way to overcome problems in creating a religious culture is by evaluating systematically and carried out by related parties. Keywords: Strategy, headmaster, religious culture Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuanmengetahui, (1)langkah-langkah kepala sekolah menciptakan budaya religius, (2) bentuk budaya religius di sekolah, (3) cara sosialisasi dan implementasi budaya religius, (4) dukungan guru dan warga sekolah dalam menciptakan budaya religius, (5) cara mengatasi masalah menciptakan budaya religius. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan rancangan penelitian studi kasus. Lokasi penelitian ini di SMA Negeri 9 Malang. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dandokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu reduksi, display data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil dari penelitian ini (1) langkah kepala sekolah menciptakan budaya religius diawali rapat yang beranggotakan tim inti untuk merancang segara garis besar terkait kegiatan barulah di musyawarahkan dengan para guru, (2) bentuk-bentuk budaya religius yang ada di sekolah adalah Salat Dhuha, Salat Dhuhur dan Ashar berjamaah, kajian kitab kuning, Salat jumat berjamaah dan kegiatan keputrian, siswa non muslim pembinaan keagamaan, pelatihan menjadi qotib, istighosah, kegiatan pondok ramadhan, Peringatan Hari Besar Islam, (3) sosialisasi dan implementasi budaya Religius melalui media sosial, cetak, elektronik, website sekolah, dan secara lisan. Sedangkan implementasinya adalah strategi yang sudah dirancang dari tahap pereencanaan, pelaksanakan, dan pembiasaan di keseharian di lingkungan sekolah, (4) dukungan guru dan warga sekolah dalam menciptakan budaya Religius meliputi, guru menuju masjid saat mendengar adzan untuk menunaikan Salat,mengawali pelajaran dengan berdoa, dan menganjurkan siswa untuk Salat Dhuha sebelum pelajaran dimulai, siswa memimpin literasi, siswa menjadi qotib, tenaga kependidikan setiap hari selasa-jumat dilakukan apel pagi untuk penyampaian informasi kegiatan yang dilakukan pada hari itu. Dukungan orangtua adalah orangtua melakukan zakat fitrah dan zakat mal disekolah, berdirinya masjid sekolah merupakan gagasan dan sumbangan dari orangtua siswa; (5) Cara mengatasi masalah dalam menciptakan budaya Religius adalah dengan evaluasi yang dilakukan secara sistematis dan dilaksanakan oleh pihak-pihak terkait. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describes the public image of SMAN 3 Malang, the leadership of the principal, the strategic steps of the principal, the problems and solutions made in building a public image. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of case study research. The results of the study include: (1) SMAN 3 Malang has a good or positive image. This image is seen from achievements in the academic and non-academic fields, good school services and alumni ties, (2) The principal acts as the top leader and manager in leading SMAN 3 Malang, the principal has a high commitment and firmness and open minded, and the principal uses Bottom-Up in making decisions, which means analyzing and collecting data first and communicating with the parties involved, (3) SMAN 3 Malang uses the PDCA step in making a good program of activities, namely Plan, Do, Check, and Action. (4) There are problems that lie in the commitment section of some teachers that need to be motivated. In addition, there are problems, namely lack of carrying capacity such as facilities and infrastructure to finance. The solution is to motivate teachers to have a high commitment and take a humanist approach, especially to the community or student guardians so that the carrying capacity can be fulfilled. Keywords: leadership, principal, public image Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan citra publik di SMAN 3 Malang, kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, langkah strategis kepala sekolah, serta masalah dan solusi yang dilakukan dalam membangun citra publik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Hasil penelitian meliputi: (1) SMAN 3 Malang memiliki citra yang baik atau positif. Citra ini dilihat dari prestasi di bidang akademik dan nonakademik, pelayanan sekolah dan ikatan alumni yang bagus, (2) Kepala sekolah berperan sebagai top leader dan manajer dalam memimpin SMAN 3 Malang, kepala sekolah memiliki komitmen yang tinggi dan sikap tegas dan open minded, serta kepala sekolah menggunakan Bottom-Up dalam pembuatan keputusan, yang artinya menganalisis dan mengumpulkan data terlebih dahulu dan melakukan komunikasi dengan pihak yang terlibat, (3) SMAN 3 Malang menggunakan langkah PDCA dalam pembuatan program kegiatan yang bagus, yaitu Plan, Do, Check, dan Action. (4) Terdapat permasalahan yang terletak pada bagian komitmen beberapa guru yang perlu untuk dimotivasi. Selain itu, terdapat masalah yaitu kurangnya daya dukung seperti sarana dan prasarana hingga finansial. Solusi yang dilakukan yaitu memotivasi guru-guru agar memiliki komitmen yang tinggi serta melakukan pendekatan humanis, terutama ke masyarakat atau wali murid sehingga daya dukung dapat terpenuhi. Kata kunci: kepemimpinan, kepala sekolah, citra publik

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) melihat tingkat keefektifan penggunaan ruang kuliah bagi mahasiswa Administrasi Pendidikan pada setiap semester mata kuliah tahun pelajaran 2018/2019; (2) bagi tingkat penggunaan ruang kuliah mahasiswa Administrasi Pendidikan angkatan 2016, 2017, dan 2018 pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2018/2019; dan (3) tingkat keefektifan penggunaan ruang kuliah bagi seluruh mahasiswa Administrasi Pendidikan semester genap tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Abstract

Abstrak:The purpose of the publication of this article is to describe the management of child-friendly schools in SMPN 10 Malang starting at the planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring, and roles of school principals, teachers, parents, and outsiders towards child-friendly school programs. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of research conducted at the planning stage are to make indicators of the implementation of child-friendly schools that are listed in eight national education standards. The organizing stage is forming a child-friendly school implementation team. At the implementation stage is learning activities outside the classroom as a form of child-friendly learning. Child-friendly school supervision is conducted regularly by teachers and school principals on all school activities. Principals play a role in setting up child-friendly school programs, teachers play a role in fostering and assisting child-friendly school programs, parents play a role in supporting and participating in child-friendly school activities, and outsiders play a role in socializing child-friendly schools.Keywords: management, school, child friendly schoolAbstrak: Tujuan dari publikasi artikel ini yaitu mendeskripsikan mengenai manajemen sekolah ramah anak di SMPN 10 Malang yang dimulai pada tahap perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, pengawasan, dan peran kepala sekolah, guru, orang tua, dan pihak luar terhadap program sekolah ramah anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan pada tahap perencanaan adalah membuat indikator implementasi sekolah ramah anak yang tertera di dalam delapan standar nasional pendidikan. Tahap pengorganisasian yaitu membentuk tim pelaksana sekolah ramah anak. Pada Tahap pelaksanaan adalah kegiatan belajar di luar kelas sebagai bentuk pembelajaran ramah anak. Pengawasan sekolah ramah anak dilakukan secara berkala oleh guru dan kepala sekolah terhadap semua kegiatan sekolah. Kepala sekolah berperan membuat tatanan program sekolah ramah anak, guru berperan membina dan mendampingi program sekolah ramah anak, orang tua berperan mendukung dan mengikuti kegiatan sekolah ramah anak, dan pihak luar berperan member sosialisasi terkait sekolah ramah anak.Kata kunci: manajemen, sekolah, sekolah ramah anak

Abstract

Abstract: The purposes of this research to describe: (1) the process of establishing school accreditation teams, (2) completing accreditation instruments and physical evidence, (3) inhibiting and supporting factors in preparation of school accreditation, (4) quality control of process completing accreditation instrument and physical evidence, (5) follow-up preparation of school accreditation, and (6) successful strategies in school accreditation. This research uses a qualitative approach, with a case study research design. Research location at SDN Ketawanggede Malang. Data collection techniques with interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this research (1) the process of establishing the team through the appointment of the team leader by the principal, drafting SK, meeting and making SK team, (2) completing the accreditation instrument and physical evidence through attending socialization, checklist of accreditation instruments, preparation of accreditation data and fulfillment of physical evidence , (3) inhibiting factors such as time constraints, the existence of teacher mutation, pension and death, the document is irregular and printer is inadequate while the supporting factors are principal assistance and motivation, inter-team collaboration, and assistance of school stakeholders (4) control through checks and evaluation meetings, (5) follow-up preparations by familiarizing the completeness of school equipment, establishing school programs, and undertaking quality assurance through the SPMI team, and (6) success strategies in school accreditation there are strategies to get score A values and strategies for rapid done.Keyword: management, preparation, school accreditationAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) proses pembentukan tim akreditasi sekolah, (2) pelaksanaan pengisian instrumen akreditasi dan bukti fisik, (3) faktor penghambat dan pendukung dalam persiapan akreditasi sekolah, (4) quality control dari proses pengisian instrumen akreditasi dan bukti fisik, (5) tindak lanjut persiapan akreditasi sekolah, dan (6) strategi keberhasilan dalam akreditasi sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan rancangan penelitian studi kasus. Lokasi penelitian di SDN Ketawanggede Malang. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini (1) proses pembentukan tim melalui penunjukan ketua tim oleh kepala sekolah, membuat draft SK, rapat dan membuat SK tim, (2) pelaksanaan pengisian instrumen akreditasi dan bukti fisik melalui menghadiri sosialisasi, melakukan checklist instrumen akreditasi, persiapan data akreditasi dan  pemenuhan bukti fisik, (3) faktor penghambat yaitu keterbatasan waktu, adanya guru mutasi, pensiun dan meninggal dunia, dokumen letaknya tidak beraturan dan printer kurang memadai sedangkan faktor pendukung yaitu bantuan dan motivasi kepala sekolah, kerja sama antar tim, dan bantuan stakeholders sekolah (4) quality control melalui pengecekan dan rapat evaluasi, (5) tindak lanjut persiapan dengan membiasakan kelengkapan perangkat sekolah, membuat program sekolah, dan melakukan penjaminan mutu melalui tim SPMI, dan (6) strategi keberhasilan dalam akreditasi sekolah terdapat strategi untuk mendapatkan nilai A dan strategi supaya cepat selesai.Kata Kunci: pengelolaan, persiapan, akreditasi sekolah
