Abstract

In this digital era, hybrid skills are needed to enable people to add value beyond the application of technology (Technical skills). However, organizations will always be run by humans, not robots. They work in an organization requires communication skills, collaboration, empathy, and so on. It is important for a recruiter to get talents with hybrid skills combined with qualified technical and non-technical skills. The research design used is the literature review method. Therefore, the nature of this research is descriptive analysis, by revealing, describing, and explaining related to the research topic, namely the analysis of how recruiters identify the capacity of hybrid skills in candidates through regular analysis of the literature that has been obtained. Hybrid skill is considered more capable of describing the workforce in completing tasks with maximum performance. In the labor recruitment process, companies have problems in the labor market that do not meet the qualifications of the soft skills and hard skills of each applicant are not balanced. In order for companies to improve the skills of workers efficiently and utilize their talents more effectively, they must be able to identify both the skills workers already have and those they will need.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has hit almost all countries, including Indonesia. COVID-19 has had a huge impact on the entire community, especially employees. One of the impacts that occurred was the implementation of Work from Home (WFH), this was done as an effort to reduce the transmission rate of COVID-19. However, the direct effect that occurred was that employees faced several conflicts such as stress, frustration and imbalances in life. On this basis, researchers want to know the role given by work life balance on employee performance during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is a study of the literature which is based on studies of previous studies that match the criteria for the same research variables. The results obtained in this study are work life balance by applying flexible time, increasing job satisfaction, and also to increase employee self-control which is predicted to improve the performance of employees who apply WFH.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work supervision on work discipline and teacher performance at SMK Negeri 3 Pekanbaru. Meanwhile, the research was carried out from April to June 2020. The data source for this research was the teachers of SMK Negeri 3 Pekanbaru with 51 respondents as the research sample. The data collection technique used the census method. In addition, the data analysis technique was descriptive analysis, validity and reliability tests, normality and linearity tests, and hypothesis testing, namely path analysis tests. The results of the study: Sub Structure 1 shows direct work supervision (X) has a significant positive effect on work discipline (Y 1) with an influence value of 35.9%. Sub Structure 2 shows that work supervision (X) and work discipline (Y1) has a significant positive effect on teacher performance (Y2) at SMK Negeri 3 Pekanbaru, with an influence value of 79%. Furthermore, the indirect effect shows; Work supervision (X) has a significant positive effect on teacher performance (Y2) through work discipline (Y1) teachers at SMK Negeri 3 Pekanbaru

Abstract

After being declared a pandemic, Covid-19 has made everyone change and change a different lifestyle than before. In accordance with a survey conducted by IIPI, it shows that after the Covid-19 pandemic, 95% of MSMEs had a significant impact from the pandemic, and 75% of them experienced a decline in income. Socialization and counseling are carried out for MSME actors as preparation for facing the new norm. This is done so that MSME actors can survive and compete during the Covid-19 pandemic. This is also carried out as a form of effort from various parties in an effort so that MSME actors can increase productivity. Other methods used include material sharing, socialization, counseling, and also question and answer.

Abstract

Commitment is an organizational approach intended to assure that employees are dedicated to organizational goals and principles, urged to help the organization succeed, and at the same time able to increase their own sense of security. Employee engagement plays a very important role in any organization because it is connected to the output of commitment and performance. When a sufficient number of people care about doing a good job and about the organization's work, engagement happens.
