Abstract

Plasma electrolysis is currently an environmentally friendly technology that is used as an alternative to nitrogen fixation, clean water treatment, batik waste degradation and the synthesis of other compounds. The success indicator of plasma electrolysis technology is seen from the formation of glow discharge. One of the factors that influence the formation of plasma in this method is the electrolyte solution. The electrolyte solution used in this study is K2SO4 because its conductivity causes electron jumps. This study aims to determine the effect of various concentrations of K2SO4 electrolyte solution on glow discharge plasma at the anode.In the plasma electrolysis reactor with stainless steel cathode and tungsten anode and 0.01 M electrolyte solution; 0.02 M; and 0.03 M K2SO4. The formation of glow discharge plasma occurs at the anode. Changes in concentration affect the critical voltage (VD) where the higher the concentration (0.03 M), glow discharge occurs at a lower voltage (600 V). This is due to the presence of high dielectric strength in the solution causing lower discharge strength to occur in solutions with lower electrolyte concentrations.Keywords: anode, plasma electrolysis, K2SO4 electrolyte, glow discharge

Abstract

This research is titled "Transformational Leadership of School Principals in Improving Scout Achievement at SDN Bringin 01 Semarang City" and aims to analyze how the school principal applies transformational leadership to enhance students' scouting achievements at SDN Bringin 01 Semarang City. The research method used is a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the principal at SDN Bringin 01 Semarang City implements four main dimensions of transformational leadership: idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration. In terms of idealized influence, the principal serves as a role model for teachers and students through integrity, commitment, and behavior that reflects scouting values. Inspirational motivation is manifested through clear vision communication and optimistic messaging, which successfully boosts work spirit and active involvement in scouting activities. Intellectual stimulation is applied by encouraging teachers to innovate in teaching methods and the implementation of scouting activities. Meanwhile, individualized consideration is shown by paying special attention to the personal development needs of teachers and students, thereby creating strong interpersonal relationships. Overall, this research concludes that the transformational leadership of the school principal plays a crucial role in creating a collaborative, innovative, and supportive school environment. This positively impacts the improvement of students' scouting achievements at SDN Bringin 01 Semarang City. The findings are expected to contribute to the development of effective leadership models in the context of primary education, particularly in scouting.

Abstract

The regulatory fragmentation between the Election Law and the Regional Election Law has created overlapping policies, misaligned oversight, and administrative inefficiencies that undermine the legitimacy of democracy in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the legal and policy challenges in integrating the electoral and regional election systems to improve efficiency, transparency, and accountability in democratic governance. The research employs a normative legal approach through legislative analysis, conceptual exploration, and comparative studies of integrated electoral systems in the Philippines and Mexico. The findings indicate that integrating electoral and regional election systems can reduce operational costs, strengthen oversight mechanisms, and enhance public trust in election outcomes. However, this requires regulatory harmonization, the strengthening of information technology infrastructure, and capacity-building for electoral management bodies. The implications of this research include recommendations for holistic legal reforms to align election regulations and the implementation of evidence-based policies involving various stakeholders in the policymaking process. This study contributes to constitutional law and democratic governance in Indonesia by analyzing the legal inconsistencies between the Election Law and the Regional Election Law and proposing a harmonization framework to improve regulatory coherence and institutional effectiveness

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana layanan bimbingan karir yang ada di sekolah dapat membantu peserta didik dalam membuat perencanaan karir di masa depan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif analisis. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Samboja yang merupakan salah satu sekolah favorit yang ada di Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik purposive sampling digunakan untuk memastikan bahwa informasi yang diperoleh berasal dari informan yang sesuai dengan kriteria tujuan penelitian, sehingga didapatkan informan yang terdiri dari dua guru bimbingan konseling dan enam perwakilan siswa dari setiap kelas XII. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model deskriptif analisis oleh Miles dan Huberman. Peneliti juga menggunakan beberapa teori yang dijadikan acuan dalam proses penyusunan data, yaitu: 1) teori trait and factor untuk menganalisis bagaimana aspek-aspek seperti minat, bakat, hasil belajar, dan ciri kepribadian dapat diidentifikasi melalui layanan bimbingan karir; 2) teori Donald Edwin Super untuk memahami tahapan-tahapan perkembangan karir individu mulai dari perkembangan, eksplorasi, pemantapan, pembinaan hingga kemunduran; 3) teori Holland digunakan untuk memahami hubungan antara kepribadian siswa dan lingkungan karir yang sesuai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa layanan bimbingan karir di SMA Negeri 1 Samboja efektif dalam membantu peserta didik merencanakan serta memantapkan pilihan karir yang sesuai dengan kondisi serta minat dan bakat peserta didik. Hal ini berdasarkan hasil dari asesmen teknik non tes menggunakan wawancara yang dilakukan oleh peneliti terhadap enam perwakilan peserta didik dengan indikator perencanaan karirnya berupa pemahaman terhadap wawasan dan persiapan karir, pertimbangan alternatif pilihan karir, dan memiliki perencanaan karir di masa depan secara matang.

Abstract

This study is entitled "Implementation of Transformational Leadership Style of Principals in Realizing Quality Culture in Nurul Islam Tengaran Integrated Islamic Elementary School" which aims to analyze how principals implement transformational leadership in realizing quality culture in Nurul Islam Tengaran Elementary School, Semarang Regency. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the principal at SDIT Nurul Islam Tengaran, Semarang Regency, applied four main dimensions of transformational leadership, namely idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration. In the aspect of idealized influence. Inspirational motivation is realized through schools that develop innovative programs that are in accordance with the needs of the current generation, such as Arabic and English classes and academic and athlete classes. Intellectual stimulation with teachers sharing ideas to create innovation. The principal encourages good communication between leaders and staff to maintain harmonious relationships. While individual consideration is carried out by the principal actively listening to the challenges faced by teachers and appreciating the uniqueness of each individual. Overall, the implementation of transformational leadership at SDIT Nurul Islam Tengaran proves that this approach is effective in realizing a culture of quality and creating an inclusive and productive work environment. This success is highly dependent on the commitment of the principal and the support of all team members in achieving common goals.

Abstract

Peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa tidak hanya ditentukan oleh kemampuan akademik semata, tetapi juga dipengaruhi oleh budaya sekolah dan mutu manajemen pendidikan yang diterapkan. Fenomena menunjukkan bahwa banyak sekolah dasar yang masih berfokus pada pencapaian kognitif tanpa mengintegrasikan pembentukan karakter dan budaya sekolah yang kuat. Gap ini menjadi alasan penting untuk meneliti bagaimana implementasi budaya sekolah dan mutu akademik dapat berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan prestasi siswa secara menyeluruh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi terhadap kepala sekolah, guru, serta peserta didik di SD IT Umar Bin Khathab Juwana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya sekolah dibangun melalui pembiasaan religius, kegiatan sosial, serta pelatihan kepemimpinan siswa yang konsisten dan terarah. Di sisi lain, mutu akademik diwujudkan melalui perencanaan pembelajaran yang sistematis, pelaksanaan pembelajaran aktif, evaluasi berkelanjutan, serta tindak lanjut pembelajaran yang konstruktif. Kombinasi antara penguatan budaya dan mutu akademik ini secara signifikan berdampak pada peningkatan prestasi siswa, baik dalam aspek akademik maupun karakter. Saran peneliti, sekolah dapat memperkuat program pembentukan karakter dengan melibatkan orang tua dan masyarakat dan perlu sistem penilaian yang mengintegrasikan aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik secara seimbang.Kata Kunci : budaya sekolah; mutu akademik; prestasi siswa; pendidikan dasar

Abstract

Kepala sekolah memegang peran kunci dalam mengarahkan dan meningkatkan kualitas sekolah melalui fungsi manajerial, mencakup perencanaan, pengorganisasian, penggerakan, dan pengawasan. Penelitian kualitatif ini mengkaji peran kepala sekolah SMPN 31 Semarang dalam menerapkan strategi melalui kerja sama dan komunikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah telah menjalankan fungsi manajemen dengan baik: (1) Perencanaan berupa penyusunan program strategis berbasis kebijakan sekolah; (2) Pengorganisasian dengan pembagian tugas kepada seluruh elemen sekolah; (3) Penggerakan melalui dorongan partisipasi aktif seluruh pihak; dan (4) Pengawasan dengan evaluasi program. Selain itu, kepala sekolah memberikan dukungan penuh untuk peningkatan kompetensi guru (pedagogik, profesional, sosial, dan kepribadian) melalui studi lanjut, pelatihan, workshop, dan diklat. Fasilitas pendukung seperti beasiswa, tunjangan, dan sarana pendidikan juga disediakan untuk memotivasi guru. Dengan demikian, kepala sekolah berperan sebagai manajer yang efektif dalam mengoptimalkan sumber daya sekolah dan mendorong peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di SMPN 31 Semarang.Kata Kunci : Kepala Sekolah; Manajer; Kompetensi Guru

Abstract

SMP Negeri 3 is an outstanding school, one of its achievements is recorded as the school that produces the most leading teachers in Welahan sub-district in 2024-2025. In an effort to further empower the potential of leading teachers for school progress, democratic leadership of the principal is needed who is able to empower the potential of these teachers. This study aims to describe the implementation of democratic leadership of the principal in empowering teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Welahan. The sub-focus of the study includes participatory decision-making, and management and facilitation, Qualitative research methods with case study types in the SMP Negeri 3 Welahan area. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The research design begins with pre-field, field tests, and data analysis. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the principal applies participatory decision-making by involving teachers in various discussion forums, coordination meetings, and open deliberations. The principal prepares a teacher empowerment program through needs analysis, develops alternative work procedures through group discussions and manages resources by supporting self-development communities that are carried out according to school needs. The research recommendations are aimed at related parties in developing evaluation mechanisms for teacher empowerment programs on real learning quality with measurable indicators.

Abstract

Educating children is not an easy matter. Parents' mistakes in implementing parenting patterns can influence children's behavior in the future. Therefore, it is important for parents to learn correct parenting principles so they can form positive characters in their children. The aim of parenting to build children's character is to; (1) ensuring the health and safety of children, (2) preparing children to live as productive adults, (3) transmitting cultural values. The aim of implementing this community service program is (1) to contribute to the development of the character of disadvantaged children sheltered by Lazis Sabilillah Malang, (2) to provide knowledge to parents as the main factor that builds the family's personality, (3) to increase self-confidence for Orphaned and underprivileged children under the guidance of Lazis Sabilillah. The targets of this activity are parents of orphans and poor people assisted by Lazis Sabilillah Malang. This Community Service Program activity was held on Monday, September 11 2023, located at the Sabilillah Mosque in Malang and went smoothly. Parents of orphans and poor people assisted by Lazis Sabilillah are very happy, they have gained knowledge about how to build children's character so that they have self-confidence and a good and strong personality.

Abstract

The form of procrastination that they practice is avoiding assignments that have been given by the subject teacher, finding it difficult to understand the material that has been explained by the subject teacher, and delaying when doing assignments so that when the task will be collected, the students concerned are not present during class time. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative research design. The data sources for this research are guidance and counseling teachers, three students who have received classical guidance services, school principals, and subject teachers. Data collection techniques using interviews and documentation The data validation technique uses source triangulation. The data obtained was analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana models, which included data collection, data condensation, data display, and drawing and verifying conclusions.The results showed that the classical guidance services provided by counseling teachers had three aspects: the preparatory aspect, which included preparing the topic of classical guidance material and compiling RPL; the implementation aspect, which included carrying out classical guidance services according to schedule and providing services according to the material that had been prepared; and the outcome aspect, which includes process evaluation and outcome evaluation after the service is implemented.
