Abstract

Lecturers are an important component in the education system in higher education. As mandated in Law No. 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers, lecturers were declared as professional educators and scientists with the main task of transforming, developing, and disseminating knowledge, information, technology and art through education, research, and community service (Chapter 1 Article 1 paragraph 2). To measure lecturer performance, it is necessary to assess the performance of the lecturer. In assessing the performance of lecturers in the Informatics Engineering Study Program there are several criteria assessed. This assessment is based on the criteria for teaching and learning, research, community service and attendance at STIMIK Ten November November using the AHP method. And with an alternative, the permanent lecturer is STIMIK Sepuluh Nopember Teknik Informatika Jayapura. In a study of Decision Support Systems Lecturer Performance Assessment Using AHP Method in STIMIK Ten November Jayapura by conducting observations and interviews and weighting criteria and alternative values based on observation and interviews. Decision Support System Assessment of Lecturer Performance Using AHP Method is designed using the PHP programming language and MySQL Database.

Abstract

Kesehatan gigi dan mulut sangat penting bagi kesejahteraan umum, namun banyak orang mengabaikan pengobatan karena kurangnya kesadaran atau tantangan diagnostik. Metode diagnostik tradisional sering kali kurang akurat dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem otomatis untuk mengklasifikasikan penyakit gigi dan mulut menggunakan algoritma deep learning Inception-V3 guna meningkatkan akurasi diagnostik. Penelitian menggunakan dataset 8.776 citra oral yang diseimbangkan dengan SMOTE dan diproses dengan teknik augmentasi. Inception-V3 dilatih dan dibandingkan dengan CNN, VGG-16, ResNet50, serta model machine learning tradisional. Model Inception-V3 mencapai akurasi 94%, mengungguli model lain (CNN: 81%, VGG-16: 88.7%, ResNet50: 76.25%) dan menunjukkan stabilitas tanpa overfitting. Studi ini menegaskan potensi Inception-V3 dalam analisis gambar medis, menawarkan alat diagnostik yang andal untuk deteksi dini penyakit gigi dan mulut, sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil layanan kesehatan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality, tax collection strategies, and tax sanctions on taxpayer compliance in paying Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2) in Bekasi City. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 60 land and building taxpayers. The study employed multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 27 to process the data. The results showed that service quality had a positive and significant effect on taxpayer compliance, with a t-value of 2.083 greater than the t-table value of 2.002. Conversely, the tax collection strategy showed a t-value of 0.649, which is less than the t-table value, indicating no significant effect on taxpayer compliance. Meanwhile, tax sanctions had a t-value of 6.577, exceeding the t-table value, demonstrating a significant positive impact on compliance. Additionally, the F-test resulted in a value of 32.519, suggesting that when analyzed simultaneously, service quality, tax collection strategies, and tax sanctions collectively have a positive influence on taxpayer compliance. These findings highlight the importance of effective service delivery and enforcement mechanisms to enhance tax compliance for PBB-P2 in Bekasi City

Abstract

As the primary raw material for sugar and ethanol production, sugarcane is a highly significant plantation commodity. However, its relatively long growing period of approximately one year makes it more susceptible to diseases. Machine learning technology has been applied in the identification of sugarcane leaves, including through pre-processing methods and the development of disease classification models using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) approaches. However, these methods exhibit limitations in terms of accuracy. Therefore, improving identification accuracy using VGG-16 is essential. The objective of this study is to enhance the accuracy of sugarcane leaf disease identification by utilizing VGG-16. The dataset consists of  2,521 sugarcane leaf images categorized into five classes. The results of this study indicate an accuracy improvement from 97.78% to 99.14%, reflecting an increase of 1.36%

Abstract

Precision agriculture is one of the modern solutions to increase the efficiency and yield of agricultural production. This study proposes an ensemble model based on ResNet , DenseNet , and EfficientNet to detect nutrient deficiencies in lettuce plants, especially nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. This model combines the advantages of deep learning architecture with a weighted average ensemble approach to produce more accurate and reliable predictions. Experiments were conducted on a lettuce plant image dataset covering various nutrient deficiency conditions. The test results show that the proposed ensemble model achieves an accuracy of 1.0000 (100%) , indicating excellent performance in identifying nutrient deficiency symptoms. The advantage of this model lies in the unique combination of features obtained from each constituent model, which complement each other in producing the final prediction. This study proves the great potential of deep learning in supporting precision plant nutrient management, with practical applications that have the potential to reduce the time and cost of monitoring in the field. For further development, it is recommended to test this model on a larger and more varied dataset to improve generalization to various field conditions

Abstract

Maternal mortality rate is still high in the most critical aspect affecting the quality of life of mothers and newborns. Very significant urgency considering the importance of proper medical in childbirth procedures. Kendal Islamic Hospital provides more complex data on maternal medical records of childbirth. Many optimization algorithms in classification have been proposed. Many swarm optimizations have been developed, particle swarm optimization is a superior optimization method. Comparison of K-Nearst Neighbors and Random Forest methods is often applied without optimization. This study compares the performance of the K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) and Random Forest (RF) algorithms in classifying medical procedures for childbirth using medical records of maternity patients at RSI Kendal. The multivariable dataset includes age, weight, height, and more complete childbirth conditions. The preprocessing method involves imputation of empty values ??with KNN imputer, data normalization, and class oversampling using Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE). KNN and RF are optimized using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) to improve model accuracy. The results show that RF with an accuracy of 99.72% outperforms KNN with an accuracy of 97.03%. In the minority class, RF shows superiority with precision, recall, and F1-score reaching 100%, while KNN is more prone to errors in the minority class. This study confirms RF in handling complex multivariate data and highlights the importance of model optimization to improve accuracy in the classification of medical labor actions. These findings are expected to contribute to the development of machine learning-based decision support systems in the health sector.

Abstract

Prescribing medications to patients with chronic diseases or complications such as diabetes and stroke requires special attention, especially when patients are co-treated by an internist and a neurologist. The risk of polypharmacy and inappropriate drug administration can adversely affect patient health. This study uses the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm to classify and analyze drug administration patterns in patients with chronic diseases or complications. The data used includes patient medication history, diagnosis, and prescriptions from various specialists. The SVM algorithm was implemented to identify potential overlaps or similarities in drug administration. The results of the analysis using SVM successfully identified drug administration patterns that could potentially lead to polypharmacy. The model was able to detect the similarity of drug content with 92% accuracy. The results showed that 15% of the total prescriptions analyzed had the potential for overlapping drug content. The use of the SVM algorithm in the analysis of drug prescribing proved effective in reducing the risk of polypharmacy and inappropriate drug administration in patients with chronic diseases or complications. The implementation of this machine learning-based system can help doctors make more informed prescribing decisions, improve patient safety, and optimize treatment outcomes.

Abstract

This study is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) that comprehensively reviews the recent advances in YOLOv8-based object detection models and their implementations in various application fields, such as UAV aerial photography, fruit ripeness identification, road defect detection, forest fire smoke detection, and medical imaging. This study evaluates the performance of YOLOv8 based on precision, recall, F1-score, and mean average precision (mAP) metrics, and compares its advantages and limitations with previous YOLO versions and other object detection algorithms. Improvements in the YOLOv8 architecture, including attention mechanisms, improved feature extraction, and hyperparameter optimization, enable significant improvements in accuracy and computational efficiency, especially for small objects and low-light conditions. In addition, the integration of image enhancement techniques strengthens the model's performance in challenging environmental conditions. This study is expected to be an important reference for researchers and practitioners in developing YOLOv8-based object detection models for real-world applications.

Abstract

the number of motorized vehicles increases every year, especially private vehicles and is not offset by inadequate access until the road becomes more crowded, even traffic jams occur, especially during public holidays and national holidays. for example, during eid holidays there is a density of traffic flow when going back and forth every year, with the development of current technology the density of traffic flows that occur can be calculated so that it will be easier to anticipate in the future. but in this study only will examine the parameter values that cause the vehicle to occur density and accumulation, because it can be developed with parameter values so that the results can be obtained efficiently in solving traffic density. From the results of the anfis method, efficiency is obtained, namely on h-1 and h days of 2014, and 2017 can use Parameters with magins of 6,3% and 4,32%, while 2015 and 2016 can use parameters with margins 1,79% and 0,79%. and for the h + 1 day of 2014, 2016, and 2017, it is more efficient to use parameters with margins 1,4% and only parameters in 2015 which have the efficiency value using parameters with margin -6,17. anfis application in this calculation can be developed in a prediction system.

Abstract

The Diphtheria cases have special concern by the Indonesian government and are recorded as an extraordinary case (KLB) in 2017. Diphtheria is an infectious disease and cause complications of dangerous and deadly diseases if have not any treated immediately. Along this time, the communities often underestimate the common symptoms of diseases, such as throat pain, flu, and fever. The similarity of Diphtheria symptoms with common diseases and complications such as myocarditis, obstruction on breath, Acute Kidney Injury (AKI), making Diphtheria are rather difficult to treat due to the infections spread quickly. Some complications of diphtheria can cause a death if have not treated immediately and there must be any identification early for diphtheria. Then, an expert system is needed to help the community and the government in diagnosing the diphtheria. An expert system is an information system containing knowledge from experts in order provide information to be used for consultation. The knowledge from experts in this particular system is used as a basis by the Expert System to answer the questions (consultation). The study used the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) method, which the method calculates the similarity value of Diphtheria disease symptom. As the result, it can provide an initial diagnosis for Diphtheria before complications occur. The output of this study is the diagnosis of diphtheria based on the symptoms with the accuracy results of 93.056%, as well as providing an initial diagnosis in order to have immediately treating the diphtheria.
