Abstract

Research has been successfully carried out about the effectiveness of learning assisted by props of heat transfer by conduction, convection, and radiation to support the understanding of student concepts. This study uses a quasi-experimental method. This research was conducted at the Universitas PGRI Semarang, S1 Department of Mathematics Education which took Fundamental Physics courses in semester 2 of the 2018/2019 academic year. The research sample was 41 students. Data collection techniques in this study were conducted using tests and questionnaires. Statistical techniques used paired sample t-test. From the research, it was found that the use of heat transfer props in effective learning to support students' conceptual understanding.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dimulai dari kekaguman peneliti pada pistol mainan anak berbahan plastik yang mampu melontarkan peluru dari busa spon yang sangat cepat hingga peluru dapat menempel pada bahan dengan permukaan halus seperti kayu, besi dan kaca. Data penelitian yang diambil dilapangan adalah sudut lontar dan jarak peluru pada sumbu horizontal. Penelitian ini mencoba melontarkan peluru dengan dua variasi sudut yaitu 25 dan 35, untuk dapat mengukur sudut maka peneliti melakukan rekayasa pistol mainan dengan menambahkan busur, tripot dan beban bermassa. Hasil rata rata pada sudut 25 peluru menemouh jarak rata rata 5,86 Cm dan ketika dimasukkan dalam persamaan yang sebelumnya telah diturunkan oleh peneliti maka menghasilkan kecepatan awal 8,78 m/s. Sedangkan pada sudut 35 menghasilkan jarak tempuh rata rata 6,56 Cm dan menghasilkan kecepatan awal Vo = 8,39 m/s.Kata kunci:penurunan, gerak parabola, kecepatan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis kontekstual dengan memadukan literasi sains pada materi termodinamika kelas XI SMA/MA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) yang meliputi potensi dan masalah, mengumpulkan informasi, desain produk, validasi produk, dan revisi produk Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah bahan ajar fisika SMA/MA KELAS XI semester 2. Hasil pengembangan berupa bahan ajar fisika bermuatan literasi sains yang berupa penilaian dari validator ahli. Penilaian ahli materi memperoleh penilaian 85% dengan kategori “sangat layak”. Ahli media memperoleh penilaian 82% dengan kategori “sangat layak”. Hasil penilaian ahli pembelajaran (praktisi) memperoleh nilai 71% dengan kategori “layak”. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, bahan ajar berbasis kontekstual dengan memadukan literasi sains ini layak digunakan setelah melalui proses revisi.Kata kunci: Bahan Ajar, Fisika, Literasi Sains

Abstract

Creativity is a pattern of student behavior that is active, has great curiosity, cannot be silent about one thing, and has the urge to develop in oneself and others. This study aims to describe the creativity of student physics teacher candidates through physics toy project-based learning. Physics toys are chosen by the students themselves with the minimum requirement that they are made of one used material. Students are required to explain what physics concepts can be explained through the toy. The result is that 75% of students make toys from bottled drinking water and 83% of the videos are uploaded on YouTube. The level of creativity of students is classified as creative with an average score of 2.1. This level of creativity still needs to be improved to produce highly creative and excellent teacher candidates.Keywords: creativity, physics toys, project-based learning.

Abstract

Villages are now no longer seen as an area that only depends on the regional government, but villages are now self-governing communities where the Village Law states that villages have a function in managing government, village finances, village development, and obtaining facilities. and guidance from the Regency/City government. Building a village is not something easy. Development requires participation from all elements of village society. Village development does not only focus on physical development, but village development also includes economic development and social development. Development in an area or village is an inevitability that must be carried out by regional governments and village governments, one of which is through development that has beneficial value for regional governments, village governments and the community. Developing tourism is the most appropriate step taken by regional governments and village governments where tourism is an important aspect for a country and regional government. With tourism, a country or more specifically the local government where tourist attractions are located provides benefits to the welfare of the community and becomes a source of development costs for government administrators. Empowerment and development of an area or village of course needs to be supported by the entire community, through community empowerment in developing an area. The research method used by researchers is descriptive analysis using a qualitative approach. Qualitative research is scientific research that aims to understand a phenomenon in a social context naturally by embedding a process of in-depth communication interaction between research and the phenomenon being studied. This approach was chosen with the consideration that the nature of research data is able to maintain the integrity of the object, meaning that various data related to research are understood as an integrated unit.

Abstract

Margin tissue detection during intraoperative laparoscopic liver resection (LLR) is required to prevent tumor recurrence and reduce the likelihood of further surgery. This study proposes an electrical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) method for margin tissue detection in LLR to determine the boundary interface of normal and cancerous tissue. The proposed method of this study has three objectives: (1) designing the electrode array configuration to collect multiple EIS impedance measurements, (2) implementing the Feedforward Neural Network (FNN) to classify the orientation of margin tissue relative to the electrode array by using time-difference impedance indexes, and (4) governing the inflection point method based on impedance indexes to detect the margin tissue location. The proposed method is evaluated by a 3D numerical simulation of liver tissue composed of cancerous lumps with Iac = 1 mA alternating injection current  at frequencies: lf = 1 kHz and hf = 100 kHz. The electrode array is composed of 16 electrode pairs each for injection current and voltage measurements. The variation of margin tissue orientation relative to the electrode array direction was considered to occur in unidirectional, perpendicular, and diagonal direction with noise variations (Signal-to-Noise-Ratio: 50 to 90 dB). The FNN trained on 2,400 data points achieves True Positive Rate (TPR) value as 90.2%, 99.4%, and 96.6% for diagonal, perpendicular, and unidirectional respectively in margin tissue orientation classification, while the inflection point method detects margin tissue location with 75% location at the unidirectional orientation (y-axis).

Abstract

In the context of the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka), emphasis is placed on integrating elements of local wisdom into the learning process to support the achievement of student profiles aligned with Pancasila principles. Therefore, teachers are expected to prepare instructional materials that incorporate elements of local wisdom in line with the Independent Curriculum. However, findings in the field, particularly in Batang Hari Regency, indicate that some schools, such as SMAN 2 Batang Hari, still rely on teaching materials based on the previous curriculum, which do not incorporate local wisdom or ethnoscience aspects. The purpose of this community service activity is to train teachers at SMAN 2 Batang Hari to develop Independent Curriculum learning tools that integrate local wisdom or ethnoscience aspects using Heyzine. This platform is utilized to create interactive digital learning modules based on ethnoscience, allowing teachers to visually and contextually present elements of Jambi’s local culture. The method used in this activity is a workshop comprising three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. This training took place on August 29, 2024, at SMAN 2 Batang Hari. The results of this training indicate that teachers at SMAN 2 Batang Hari gained a good understanding of the concepts, techniques, and use of Heyzine in preparing learning tools in line with the Independent Curriculum, thereby enabling more effective integration of local wisdom or ethnoscience aspects into the learning process

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk akhir dari media pembelajaran fisika dengan menggunakan Adobe flash CS 6 pada pokok bahasan hukum newton tentang gerak dan penerapannya serta mengetahui persepsi siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development). Model pengembangan yang digunakan diadaptasi dari model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA N 1 Rantau Pandan yang berjumlah dua puluh delapan siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi, angket validasi ahli media, angket validasi ahli materi dan angket persepsi siswa. Teknik analisis data yang berupa saran dari validator ahli media dan ahli materi dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif, sedangkan skor persepsi siswa dilakukan secara statistik deskriptif. Produk yang dihasilkan memiliki spesifikasi antara lain format akhir program adalah swf dan exe, program dilengkapi dengan warna, gambar, teks dan animasi, media pembelajaran ini merupakan jenis media audio-visual yang akan dikemas dalam bentuk CD, media pembelajaran ini terdiri dari bagian intro, isi, dan penutup, cakupan materi yaitu hukum newton tentang gerak dan penerapannya, dan tingkat pengguna media yaitu Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Keunggulan yang terdapat pada media pembelajaran ini antara lain bahasa yang digunakan mudah dimengerti, gambar yang ditampilkan jelas, animasi yang ditampilkan menarik, terdapat soal interaktif pada menu evaluasi sehingga siswa dapat melihat skor yang diperoleh dari tes akhir tersebut. Kelemahan yang terdapat pada media pembelajaran ini antara lain belum terdapat video dan simulasi pada media pembelajaran, media pembelajaran ini hanya bisa digunakan pada computer atau laptop yang mempunyai aplikasi adobe flash CS 6. Berdasarkan hasil dari persepsi siswa pada indikator tampilan media pembelajaran diperoleh kesimpulan responden menjawab baik pada setiap butir soal dengan rata-rata nilai 78,5 %. Kemudian berdasarkan hasil dari persepsi siswa pada indikator manfaat penggunaan media pembelajaran diperoleh kesimpulan responden menjawab baik pada setiap butir soal dengan rata-rata nilai 81,73 %. Hal ini dapat dikatakan bahwa media pembelajaran Fisika ini layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran fisika pada materi hukum newton tentang gerak dan penerapannya untuk siswa SMA kelas X SMA. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan LKS IPA Berbasis Multiple Intelligences pada materi suhu dan perubahannya, dan mengetahui respon siswa terhadap produk yang dikembangkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) menggunakan model pengembangan Borg dan Gall dengan langkah-langkahnya sebagai berikut : (1) potensi dan masalah, (2) pengumpulan data, (3) desain produk, (4) validasi desain, (5) revisi desain, (6) ujicoba produk. Subjek uji coba pada penelitian ini adalah siswa SMPN 1 Kota Jambi. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah angket validasi tim ahli dan angket persepsi siswa. Teknis analisis data untuk angket validasi tim ahli dan angket persepsi siswa dilakukan dengan statistik deskriptif (mean ideal, standar deviasi ideal dan skor aktual). Sedangkan analisis data untuk saran validator dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif (reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi). Hasil penelitian ini adalah LKS IPA Berbasis Multiple Intelligences. Spesifikasi LKS ini terdiri dari empat kegiatan pembelajaran yaitu suhu dan alat ukurnya, pemuaian, kalor dan perubahan suhu benda, serta perubahan dan perpindahan kalor. Setiap kegiatan pembelajaran terdiri dari tujuan pembelajaran, kilas balik, express laboratorry, materi, kegiatan atur strategi, mini lab, tugas mandiri, asah kecerdasan, info, dan kegiatan menyimpulkan. Hasil validasi ahli menyatakan produk yang dikembangkan valid dan layak diujicobakan. Hasil ujicob respon siswa terhadap LKS yaitu 83% yang dapat dikategorikan “sangat baik”.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the final product of the physics electronics module and to determine students' perceptions of the products. The development model used is the ADDIE. The subjects of the trial were students of class XI MIA MAN 2 Tanjung Jabung Timur. The research instruments used were observation, student needs questionnaire, media ang material expert validation questionnaire, and student perception questionnaire. Data analysis techniques in the form of suggestions from the validator of media experts and material experts, while the validation questionnaire scores of media experts, material experts, and students' perceptions were carried out in descriptive statistics. The product produced is a physics electronic module with made using the KVisoft Flipbook Maker application which contains colors, images, animations, simulations, videos and examples of interactive questions. The product was declared eligible by the validator after going through the stages of validation of material experts and media experts totaling 30 and 63 with the agreed category. The results of the analysis of student perceptions in the trial obtained score 78.17 categorized as very agree.
