Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penerapan Mal Pelayanan Publik (MPP) dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik di Kabupaten Dompu. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah menilai sejauh mana konsep one-stop service dapat meningkatkan efisiensi waktu, transparansi birokrasi, serta kepuasan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Mal Pelayanan Publik (MPP) di Kabupaten Dompu berdampak positif pada kualitas layanan publik dengan mempercepat administrasi, meningkatkan aksesibilitas, efisiensi, transparansi, dan kepuasan masyarakat. Penggunaan teknologi seperti antrean elektronik dan layanan digital turut mendukung efektivitas pelayanan. Namun, kendala seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur, rendahnya literasi digital, dan kurangnya kompetensi SDM masih menjadi tantangan. Untuk mengatasinya, diperlukan penguatan teknologi, pelatihan petugas, dan sosialisasi lebih luas. Dengan dukungan pemerintah dan masyarakat, MPP diharapkan terus berkembang sebagai model layanan publik yang efisien dan transparan.   This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of the Public Service Mall (MPP) in improving the quality of public services in Dompu Regency. The main focus of this study is to assess the extent to which the one-stop service concept can improve time efficiency, bureaucratic transparency, and public satisfaction. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results show that the implementation of the Public Service Mall (MPP) in Dompu Regency has a positive impact on the quality of public services by accelerating administration, increasing accessibility, efficiency, transparency, and public satisfaction. The use of technology such as electronic queuing and digital services also supports service effectiveness. However, obstacles such as limited infrastructure, low digital literacy, and a lack of human resource competency remain challenges. To overcome these challenges, technological enhancements, officer training, and broader outreach are needed. With government and community support, the MPP is expected to continue to develop as an efficient and transparent public service model.

Abstract

Background (General): Renewable energy is increasingly critical as fossil fuel reserves decline and global energy demand rises. Background (Specific): Hybrid Renewable Energy Systems (HRES) that combine solar photovoltaic (PV) and wind energy offer reliable alternatives, but fixed solar panels limit energy capture due to suboptimal orientation. Knowledge Gap: While solar tracking has been explored, its effectiveness within small-scale HRES prototypes in real-world conditions remains underexamined. Aim: This study investigates the impact of automated solar panel tilt adjustment on the efficiency of a small-scale HRES integrating a vertical-axis wind turbine. Results: Experimental testing over five days demonstrated that the automated tilt system enhanced solar energy capture by 23–43% compared to fixed-tilt configurations, with daily energy outputs reaching 1,020 Wh, although battery charging remained capped at 60% due to charge controller restrictions. Novelty: The research highlights a low-cost, single-axis automation mechanism controlled by ESP32 and LDR sensors, providing a feasible and scalable solution for off-grid applications. Implications: Findings underscore the potential of affordable solar tracking in hybrid systems to improve energy access in rural or remote areas, while emphasizing the need for improved storage management to fully realize efficiency gains Highlights: Automated tilt improved solar energy capture by 23–43%. Abstract

General Background: Renewable energy is increasingly vital for sustainable development, with wind energy offering significant potential in urban settings where land availability is limited. Specific Background: Vertical axis wind turbines (VAWTs), particularly Savonius types, are promising for rooftop applications but remain underexplored compared to horizontal axis turbines. Knowledge Gap: Limited studies have systematically examined how variations in blade number affect VAWT performance under low wind speed conditions typical of urban environments. Aim: This study investigates the performance of Savonius VAWTs with 3, 4, and 6 blades to determine the optimal configuration for efficient energy generation on building roofs. Results: Experimental testing over 24 hours at an average wind speed of 2 m/s revealed that the 3-blade turbine achieved the best performance, with a tip speed ratio (0.94), coefficient of power (0.242), and voltage output (14.41 V), outperforming the 4-blade and 6-blade designs. Novelty: This work demonstrates that reducing blade count can enhance efficiency in low-speed, rooftop urban wind applications, challenging the assumption that more blades inherently improve performance. Implications: The findings provide insights for optimizing small-scale renewable energy systems in urban areas, contributing to sustainable energy strategies and supporting national renewable energy targets. Highlights: Three-blade Savonius turbine shows highest efficiency at low wind speeds. Blade number directly affects TSR, CP, and voltage output. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan strategi pemasaran yang dilakukan oleh Toko Alif Mim dalam meningkatkan loyalitas dan retensi pelanggan. Dalam menghadapi persaingan bisnis yang semakin kompetitif, strategi pemasaran yang efektif menjadi kunci utama dalam mempertahankan pelanggan serta menciptakan hubungan jangka panjang yang saling menguntungkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelanggan yang datang ke Toko Alif Mim bukan hanya karena kebutuhan produk, tetapi juga karena mereka merasa dihargai dan nyaman saat berbelanja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis salah satu potensi bisnis Desa Sumurdalam Kecamatan Besuk, yakni industri rumahan melalui Unit Usaha Kapuk. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif melalui teknik wawancara dan observasi untuk memperoleh gambaran perkembangan Unit Usaha Kapuk tersebut. Usaha Kapuk merupakan industri rumahan yang menghasilkan produk berskala kecil namun berpotensi meningkatkan ekonomi keluarga. Peningkatan ekonomi keluarga dapat dicapai jika mereka memiliki pemahaman dan keterampilan tertentu dalam mengelola usaha tersebut, sehingga mereka bisa benar-benar menjadi pengusaha mikro. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu: a) meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat akan kerukunan dan penanaman kerjasama; b) penghasilan separuh dari biaya produksi; c) produk berbagai motif, jenis, ukuran dan berdaya saing; d) strategi pemasaran offline dan online; dan e) harga produk yang terjangkau. Usaha Kapuk ini dapat berkembang pesat dengan mengutamakan kualitas dan kepercayaan dalam usahanya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran home industry dalam meningkatkan ekonomi keluarga serta mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi dalam proses pengembangannya. Penelitian dilakukan pada home industry milik Bapak Anshari yang berlokasi di Desa Alastengah, Kecamatan Paiton, Kabupaten Probolinggo. Home industry ini bergerak di bidang produksi keripik dan telah berdiri sejak tahun 2001. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap pemilik dan karyawan usaha tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa home industry memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga, menciptakan lapangan kerja bagi masyarakat sekitar, terutama bagi perempuan yang tidak memiliki pekerjaan tetap. Selain itu, usaha ini turut memberikan dampak sosial seperti meningkatnya rasa kemandirian dan kepercayaan diri para pekerja. Namun, terdapat beberapa tantangan dalam pengembangan usaha, seperti keterbatasan modal dan tenaga kerja, kurangnya pemasaran, serta stagnasi produksi akibat keterbatasan sumber daya. Meskipun begitu, home industry ini tetap bertahan dan memberikan kontribusi terhadap ekonomi rumah tangga dan lingkungan sekitar. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa home industry berpotensi menjadi solusi dalam pengentasan pengangguran dan peningkatan ekonomi keluarga, khususnya di wilayah pedesaan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan dukungan dari berbagai pihak, termasuk pemerintah dan lembaga terkait, untuk membantu mengembangkan kapasitas usaha ini secara lebih maksimal.

Abstract

Peningkatan konsumsi dan pertumbuhan penduduk menyebabkan volume sampah terus bertambah serta menimbulkan permasalahan lingkungan. Masyarakat Bank Sampah Sawo Kencana secara langsung menghadapi tantangan tersebut, khususnya dalam pengelolaan sampah. Partisipasi aktif dan kepedulian masyarakat menjadi faktor penting untuk memperkuat kapasitas dalam menjaga lingkungan serta mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan solusi melalui penerapan teknologi pengolahan sampah melalui kegiatan pelatihan. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi koordinasi dengan mitra, sosialisasi, pelatihan, praktik pembuatan produk, pendampingan, serta evaluasi. Hasilnya, masyarakat mampu menerapkan teknologi pengolahan sampah, antara lain mengubah sampah organik menjadi kompos dan eco-enzyme, memanfaatkan sampah plastik sebagai bahan campuran paving block, serta mengolah minyak jelantah menjadi lilin. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa sampah dapat diolah menjadi produk yang memiliki nilai ekonomis dan fungsional. Selain berkontribusi pada pengurangan timbulan sampah di lingkungan, program ini juga membuka peluang ekonomi alternatif, sehingga menunjukkan pentingnya integrasi teknologi dan pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam strategi pengelolaan sampah berkelanjutan.

Abstract

General Background The increasing demand for renewable energy highlights the potential of biomass waste as a sustainable energy source. Specific Background Spent coffee grounds represent an abundant biomass material with high calorific potential, yet their utilization efficiency depends strongly on processing parameters during pelletization. Knowledge Gap Previous studies have not fully elucidated how compaction pressure and pressing duration affect the physicochemical characteristics of coffee-ground biopellets according to the SNI 8021:2014 standard. Aims This study investigates the effects of varying pressure (500, 750, and 1000 kgf) and pressing duration (30 s and 180 s) on the quality attributes of biopellets composed of 92.5% coffee waste and 7.5% tapioca adhesive. Results Findings indicate that higher pressure and longer pressing duration significantly improve density, reduce moisture and volatile matter, and enhance fixed carbon content, though the ash content remains above the acceptable limit. The optimal combination of 1000 kgf and 180 s produced biopellets meeting the SNI standards for calorific value and bound carbon. Novelty This research provides quantitative insights into the synergistic role of mechanical compaction and pressing time in optimizing biofuel quality from coffee waste. Implications The results support the advancement of circular bioenergy production in Indonesia by transforming coffee waste into high-quality renewable fuel. Highlights: High pressure and longer compression improve biopellet quality. Only 1000 kgf–180 s meets SNI standards for bound carbon and calorific value. Abstract

The addition of reflectors to solar panels is used to increase the intensity of sunlight received by solar panels so that the electrical power generated by the panels increases. In adding reflectors to solar panels, they must consider various factors to be able to increase the power generated without having a negative effect on solar panels , one of which is providing a cooling system. Therefore, research is needed to increase the power generated by solar panels and cooling systems that are suitable for overcoming rising temperatures due to the addition of reflectors. The study was conducted by varying the glass mirror reflector, aluminum foil reflector, angle of the reflector, and heatsink-fan cooling system. The research method used in this study was to compare 2 solar panel models, namely: solar panels with the addition of glass mirror reflectors / aluminum foil and heatsink-fan cooling systems, and solar panel models without any addition. The results show that the solar panel model with the addition of a glass mirror reflector / aluminum foil can increase the output power according to the angle of the reflector, the highest increase reaching 16.70% in the 450-angled aluminum foil mirror reflector. The heatsink cooling system is considered to be useful for reducing the temperature of solar panels, but the decrease is relatively small below 5%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of solar irradiation and rotational speed on the efficiency of centrifugal submersible pumps in solar water pump systems. The research was conducted using measuring instruments such as the PS2-4000 Controller on a PATS system with a capacity of 5940 Wp, Autodesk Inventor 2022, Microsoft excel, and Rstudio. The independent variables used were the level of solar irradiation and rotational speed obtained every day for two weeks from 07.00 – 17.00. The dependent variable is obtained from a literature study and the PATS system used. The PATS system uses a LORENTZ PS2-4000 C-SJ17-4 centrifugal submersible pump and a PLTS with a capacity of 5940 Wp with a static head design of 20 m. Data collection was carried out based on actual data taken at the installation location of the PATS system and the velocity triangle analysis approach based on pump geometry. Data collection at the location was carried out using the pump controller PS2-4000 and COMPASS software. Data processing is done using Excel and Rstudio software. The results of data processing will be presented in the form of a curve that explains the relationship between the two or three variables studied. Based on this curve, results and conclusions can be obtained regarding the effect of solar irradiation and rotational speed on the efficiency of centrifugal submersible pumps in solar water pump systems.
