Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has spread widely worldwide, and Indonesia is no exception. It has led the government to enforce an imperative policy, advising most activities to be done at home by everyone, including Generation Z, that has lived and grown up among the advances in communication and information technology. This study examines Generation Z's perceptions of health information regarding the COVID- 19 pandemic. This study was conducted utilising a quantitative research technique utilising a survey methodology. In this study, it was found that Generation Z firstly learned about the emergence of the COVID-19 virus on the internet, especially on social media. No negative perception was found from Generation Z related to any information shared on the internet, including their social media. Additionally, the study found that getting health information through social media was their choice, closely related to their daily activities.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze cuantomonology persuasive communication in increasing public knowledge of cryptocurrency in Karawang Regency. The theory used is affective-cognitive consistency theory in persuasive communication Suryanto (2017) in which there are four variable dimensions namely or source credibility, environmental influence, message and message continuity. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique was carried out by triangulation, then the data were analyzed through three stages which included reduction, presentation and conclusion. The results of the research and discussion show that people who still have views of illegal trading with Cryptocurrency are the same thing as well as the lack of expertise of Cuantomonology communicators in building persuasiveness to the community. The time that is often used by Cuantomonology to persuade the public is when the price of crypto coins rises or there is a company that provides a special price when buying with crypto coins, with the contents of the message in the form of educating the importance of cryptocurrency. Messages are delivered directly and simply. Cuantomonology is unable to optimize the presence of new media in distributing Cryptocurrency information to the people of Karawang

Abstract

Youtube users in Indonesia are very numerous and have different tastes in choosing shows, even this has created a lot of very diverse content on YouTube, ranging from music videos, parody videos, culinary videos, short films, mystical shows, film reviews, video blogs and Social Experiments. . Currently there are several Youtube channels that focus on Social Experiment content, one of which is Cretivox.In this study using qualitative methods and descriptive approach. The theory used in this study is the Cultivation Theory proposed by George Gebner. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews, non-participant observation and documentation.The results showed that the changes in behavior obtained by the informants in watching Cretivox Youtube channel broadcasts were very diverse, starting from being aware that everyone's opinions, ways of thinking and behavior varied, respecting other people's opinions more and understanding other points of view more, opening perspectives on other things. , better understanding of behavior when faced with things that have never been experienced The motives of the informants in watching Cretivox Youtube channel broadcasts are also in line with the cultivation theory concerning the impact of watching on social reality in shows regarding individual perceptions, attitudes and values

Abstract

Berakhirnya masa pandemi Covid-19 pada pertengahan 2022 membawa angin segar bagi Industri konser musik. Menjamurnya konser musik pada akhir pandemi tidak terlepas dari animo masyarakat yang begitu tinggi akan kebutuhan hiburan menonton live music. Strategi sales promotion pada sosial media Instagram menjadi kombinasi yang tepat dalam meningkatkan kunjugan penonton pada konser musik dan hal tersebut pula yang dilakukan oleh konser musik Communication Youth Expo 2022. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh dari sales promotion pada konten Instagram @cyexpo terhadap keputusan pembelian tiket Communication Youth Expo 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) dan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan penarikan sampel memakai non-probability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 97 orang pengikut konten Instagram @cyexpo. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini di dapatkan bahwa sales promotion berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian tiket konser musik Communication Youth Expo. Hal ini disebabkan pada F hitung sebesar 52.239 dengan level signifikansi yaitu 0.000<0.05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan Variabel X berpengaruh Terhadap Variabel Y dengan nilai sebesar 69,4% dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain.

Abstract

Perkembangan bisnis coffee shop di Indonesia semakin meningkat dan berkembang pesat. Terlihat dari banyaknya coffee shop yang kita temui di sekeliling kita. Hal ini membuat pelaku usaha coffee shop harus bersaing dalam menciptakan sesuatu yang berbeda dengan yang lain nya agar menarik minat beli konsumen.  Penelitian ini membahas strategi komunikasi pemasaran yang diterapkan oleh Unclebrew. Dengan tujuan untuk menjelaskan mengenai strategi komunikasi pemasaran yang diterapkan oleh Unclebrew dalam meningkatkan minat beli konsumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap pemilik Unclebrew sebagai informan utama dan konsumen sebagai informan pendukung yang peneliti butuhkan pada saat melakukan wawancara secara langsung. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah menggunakan teori marketing mix (bauran pemasaran) dengan elemen place dan promotion sebagai penunjang komunikasi pemasaran dari Unclebrew itu sendiri. Strategi komunikasi pemasaran yang digunakan Unclebrew menunjukkan keberhasilan pemasaran yang dilakukan sehingga terjadi adanya peningkatan minat beli konsumen dari Unclebrew itu sendiri.

Abstract

This study examines the possibility that brand mistrust mediates the indirect impact of unfavorable e-WOM on brand disloyalty among users of financial applications. Users of financial applications make up the research's sample population. With a total of 100 respondents, the researchers sampled using the non-probability sampling approach. Quantitative data is the type of information that researchers employ. In this study, questionnaires were used to gather data. Path analysis is the data analysis technique applied by the researchers in this study. According to research findings, bad E-WOM has an impact on consumers' mistrust of brands. Negative E-WOM has an impact on brand disloyalty. Brand disloyalty is not partially influenced by brand mistrust. Negative E-WOM and brand mistrust both have an impact on brand disloyalty simultaneously. Negative E-WOM does not have an indirect impact on brand disloyalty, which is mediated by brand distrust.

Abstract

Di tahun 2020 Indonesia mengalami kenaikan yang tinggi untuk pernikahan dini dengan kasus sebanyak 63.382. Kenaikan ini sangat jauh dibanding tahun sebelumnya (2019) yakni 23.145 kasus. Hal ini membuat pemerintah dan BKKBN bekerja sama untuk mengatasi persoalan ini khususnya di DKI Jakarta. Pemerintah dan BKKBN membuat program Generasi Berencana untuk membantu mensosialisasikan dampak negatif pernikahan dini untuk remaja. Artikel ini membahas strategi komunikasi Program Generasi Berencana dalam sosialisasi pencegahan pernikahan dini. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan teori perencanaan oleh Charles Berger dimana konsep pada teori ini adalah penetapan tujuan sosial, meta-goals, dan ingatan kerja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Setelah melakukan penelitian didapatkan hasil penelitian yakni Program Generasi Berencana dalam strategi komunikasi pelaksanaan sosialisasi melalui 5 tahapan yakni penelitian, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan pelaporan.

Abstract

Examining the effects of leadership style, work motivation, work discipline, and job happiness on employees' performance is the goal of this study. The study's population, which totaled 100 people, was made up of workers. The required sample is gathered using a convenience sampling technique. Facts gathered directly from survey respondents are considered primary data. It is here retrieved directly by responding to a questionnaire. The scale that is widely used in the construction of questionnaires is the Likert scale. The data analysis methods employed in this study are hypothesis testing, conventional assumption testing, and data quality testing (validity and reliability testing). Workplace discipline has a significant impact on how well people perform, according to research findings. Work motivation has a big impact on employee performance. A leader's style does not significantly affect employee performance. Job satisfaction has a substantial impact on employee performance. Work ethics, work motivation, leadership style, and job satisfaction all have a big impact on employee performance. An analysis of the adjusted coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) shows that the competence, work discipline, remuneration, organizational culture, and organizational commitment variables may all be utilized to explain the performance variable. Meanwhile, the other difference is influenced by or explained by additional elements outside the purview of this research.

Abstract

ABSTRACT   This study attempts to ascertain the extent to which TikTok Shop live shopping host' persuasive communication affects followers' purchase choices. This sort of study employs basic linear regression analysis for data analysis and explanatory survey methods for quantitative research. There are 1,044,130 persons in total. This study used a non-probability sampling strategy with a simple random sampling method. The Slovin random sampling formula was used to determine the sample size, which consisted of 100 sample. The results of the data analysis show that there is an influence of persuasive communication by the Tiktok Shop live shopping host on followers' buying decisions with an F count of 50.885 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. From the results of the coefficient of determination, it is known that the persuasive communication of the Tiktok Shop live shopping host has an effect of 35.6% on purchasing decisions, while the rest is influenced by other variables not discussed in this study. Therefore, it can be said that the persuasion carried out by the live shopping host Tiktok Shop @Aerostreet was successful.   Keywords: persuasive communication, live shopping, Tiktok Shop, purchasing decision.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high number of social media users from year to year which also coincides with the birth of very popular social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Tiktok, Instagram. These social media platforms come with their own sophistication and advantages. Social media users can share anything with other users around the world in the form of text, video, sound or images. In Indonesia itself, Instagram is the most popular social media. Based on the We Are Social report, the number of global Instagram users reached 1.63 billion as of April 2023, which shows an increase of 12.2% compared to the previous year. The popularity of Instagram is certainly not wasted by film industry companies in Indonesia. Instagram @mencuriradensalehfilm is a social media account for a film produced by Visinema Pictures and directed by Angga Dwimas Sasongko entitled Mencuri Raden Saleh. Mencuri Raden Saleh is the first Indonesian film in the theft genre. The film Mencuri Raden Saleh is more active in promoting on Instagram @mencuriradensalehfilm because it can take advantage of Instagram's features. This film also managed to enter the 10 best-selling Indonesian films in 2022. Therefore, this research was conducted to find out how much influence Instagram content @mencuriradensalehfilm has on interest in watching the film Mencuri Raden Saleh. This research uses the AIDA Theory (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) to see whether Instagram content can generate interest in watching the film Mencuri Raden Saleh. The research method used is quantitative, with the sample selection used being Non-Probability Sampling, namely a sampling technique that does not provide a chance for each selected population to become a sample. (Instgram followers @mencuriradensalehfilm). This research uses data analysis including descriptive analysis, normality test, simple linear regression test, coefficient of determination, and t hypothesis test. Based on the test results, the promotional variable Mencuri Raden Saleh Film on the Instagram account @mencuriradensalehfilm or variable X has a positive influence of 35.6% on variable Y and the remaining 64.4% is influenced by other factors.
