Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konflik sosial yang berupa wujud konflik sosial, penyebab, dan penyelesaian konflik sosial dalam novel Rumpa’na Bone Karya Andi Makmur Makka. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah teknik dokumentasi, baca markah, dan catat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif, dengan menggunakan model analisis interaktif Miles & Huberman melalui langkah-langkah yaitu tahap identifikasi, tahap klasifikasi, tahap penganalisaan data, dan penyimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat tiga wujud konflik sosial yaitu bersitegang, pertempuran, penyerangan. Penyebab terjadinya yaitu adanya perbedaan kebudayaan, yaitu utusan Belanda yang membawa surat perjanjian, Kerajaan Bone menjawab surat ancaman Belanda, Arung Pitue menolak penghinaan, penjaga pantai Bajoe menyelamatkan anggota pasukan yang terluka, pendaratan dinyatakan gagal. Adanya perbedaan kepentingan atau tujuan, yaitu sekoci Belanda menuju pantai, Pasukan inlander diturunkan, pengejaran Arumpone ke Bone Utara. Adanya perubahan sosial yang relatif cepat, yaitu Arumpone menolak ultimatum, pasukan eskader Belanda tiba di pelabuhan Bajoe, pasukan Belanda melancarkan strategi baru, perintah Petta Ponggawae, adanya pergerakan pasukan Belanda, Petta Sele’ terjatuh, dihadang dua orang pengamuk, Pasukan Belanda menuju desa Compong. Penyelesaian konflik sosial yaitu arbitrasi, yaitu mengirim kembali surat balasan, Arumpone memberikan titah, Arumpone menenangkan diri, Petta Sele memerintahkan penjaga pantai mundur, C.A. Van Loenen memerintahkan serangan dibatalkan. Détente, yaitu pendaratan Belanda gagal, Petta Ponggawae memberi perintah mundur, Kolonel C.A. Van Loenen tidak menggubris laporan dari Bone Selatan. Paksaan, yaitu penyerangan segera dilakukan, tembakan di hentikan, Petta Ponggawae memberi perintah mundur, Bajoe terpaksa ditinggalkan, pasukan musuh berlari mundur, pasukan musuh telah tersungkur, kedua pengamuk dibunuh, Panggulu Loppona Joe’ tertawan. Kata Kunci: Konflik Sosial, Novel, Sosiologi Sastra.

Abstract

The study aims to: 1) describe the level of syntactic competence of Bahasa Indonesia Department of Universitas Negeri Makassar students; (2) describe the exposition writing skills of Bahasa Indonesia Department of Universitas Negeri Makassar students; and (3) prove the significant effect of syntactic competence toward the skills of writing exposition of Bahasa Indonesia Department of Universitas Negeri Makassar students. This research is quantitative research in the form of ex post facto. The population of the data is the whole students of fourth semester in Bahasa Indonesia Department of Universitas Negeri Makassar. The samples were taken by simple random sampling and assigned Class B with 43 students. The data collection technique is a test. The collected data were analyzed by using analysis of descriptive statistics and statistical simple linear regression test. The results of the study show that : (1) the level of syntactic competence of Bahasa Indonesia Department of Universitas Negeri Makassar students is  relatively adequate while the average obtained in the test of competence syntax is 70, the highest score is 88, and the lowest is 40; (2) the exposition writing skills of Bahasa Indonesia Department of Universitas Negeri Makassar students are relatively adequate with the average, the highest, and the lowest score are consecutively 74.6, 90, and 50 ; and (3) The effect of syntactic competence toward the exposition writing skills of Bahasa Indonesia Department student of Universitas Negeri Makassar is exist. Thus, it be concluded that the syntactic competence affect the skills of writing exposition of Bahasa Indonesia Department of Universitas Negeri Makassar students. Based on the results, we suggested that the students are given the knowledge of more in-depth syntactic devices before giving the writing task and the students are provided the knowledge and training related to the aspects of the effective sentences, active-passive voice, assignment words and the use of spelling for Bahasa Indonesia (writing letters and using the prefix di- and preposition di)

Abstract

Abstract. Human interaction is intended to be able to communicate with other people using various ways, both spoken and written. Criminal cases against women and adolescents are very interesting to analyze. Writing news about women and youth must use special treatment because if news writing is done openly it will have a negative impact, especially for underage youth. Given that the role of the media is very important in shaping the mindset of the community in responding to information that occurs around the community. Based on the background of the problems that have been described, researchers will reveal and identify carefully to obtain accurate information through a study entitled "Analysis of Reporting on Crime Against Women and Adolescents: Critical Discourse Analysis of Theo van Leeuwen". The data source used is a newspaper published by Berita Harian Kota Makassar. The techniques used in collecting data in this study were documentation techniques, reading techniques, and note-taking techniques in order to obtain data in the form of words, phrases, or sentences that characterize exclusion and inclusion in accordance with the critical discourse analysis approach according to Theo van. Based on the results of the study, (1) the exclusion strategy in Berita Harian Kota Makassar found only two strategies, namely passivation and nominalization. Berita Harian Kota Makassar is indicated to have attempted to hide actors by using a passivation strategy. (2) Makassar City Daily News was found to use nine strategies consisting of indifference, abstraction, objectivation, nomination, categorization, identification, determination, indetermination, assimilation, and individuation with a total of 127 data. (3) The strategies that were not found were differentiation, categorization, association and disassociation. It is indicated that Berita Harian Kota Makassar has tried to hide the identity of the victims or perpetrators of violence who are women and youth, this has an impact on readers who will find it difficult to identify the actors involved in an incident of violence involving women or youth.  Keywords: Analysis of Criminal Reporting, Critical Discourse Analysis of Theo van Leeuwen

Abstract

The research objectives are: (i) to describe phrase errors found in students’ expository writing of class X at SMA YAPIP Sungguminasa in Gowa Regency; and (ii) to describe sentence errors found in students’ expository writing of class X at SMA YAPIP Sungguminasa in Gowa Regency. The study used a qualitative descriptive design. Data collection techniques are techniques to read, take notes, and interview teachers and students. Data were analyzed by identifying, classifying, explaining, and evaluating. The results showed that (i) phrase errors include four types of prepositional phrase errors: verbal phrase errors, nominal phrase errors, and adjectival phrase errors; (ii) sentence errors include seven types: sentences with no subject, sentences with no subject and no predicate, illogical sentences, pleonasms, conjunctive disappearances, excessive conjunctions, and unnecessary usage of unquestioned words.

Abstract

Abstrak. Mitra Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) dengan SMP Negeri 3 Gowa. Kendala yang dihadapi mitra adalah belum menguasai penelitian tindakan kelas selain itu mitra juga belum sepenuhnya menerapkan penelitian tindakan kelas dalam rangka pengembangan kompetensi guru. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan guru dalam membuat penelitian tindakan kelas. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pelatihan (Ceramah, tanya jawab, dan Latihan). Hasil yang dicapai adalah peserta dapat memahami penelitian tindakan kelas. Kata Kunci: Pelatihan, Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, Kompetensi Guru.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to describe the meaning of denotation and the meaning of connotation in doangang kasalamakang in Makassar society using Roland Barthes' theory of Semiotics in the theory of denotation meaning and connotation meaning. The data in this study used interview, record, document, and record research techniques. The results of this study show that (1) The meaning of the denotation obtained from doangang kasalamakkang as a whole has a meaning about a situation, when a person wants to realize his desires, prosper his life, and can strengthen his stance. Through this desire, it can be blessed and protected by Allah SWT. Then, the meaning of connotation (2) obtained refers to a person's request, namely the user of doangang kasalamakkang as a person who wants his request to come true. Doangang kasalamakkang users also describe that he has always prayed in his daily life, so users hope that his wishes will come true. Hoping that he will always be under the protection of Allah Almighty. Doangang Kasalamakkang users also want to tell readers that Doangang is a guide on how to live and protect themselves, and how to establish relationships between humans and creators.Keywords: Meaning, Doangang Kasalamakkang, Roland Barthes Semiotics

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan berfokus kepada analisis tingkat kejujuran berbahasa siswa dalam interogasi guru BK terhadap pelanggar aturan sekolah. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kejujuran berbahasa siswa berdasarkan aspek narrative structure dalam interogasi guru BK terhadap siswa pelanggar aturan dengan menggunakan teori dari Jhon Olsson 2008. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah proses interogasi guru BK terhadap siswa pelanggar aturan sekolah di SMP Negeri 1 Takalar. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi, simak libat cakap, teknik sadap, pengamatan, dan pencatatan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1). Kejujuran berbahasa siswa berdasarkan aspek narrative structure dalam interogasi guru BK di UPT. SMP Negeri 1 Takalar dengan memiliki tingkat kejujuran tinggi dengan perbandingan sebanyak 14 data pada tingkat kejujuran tinggi sedangkan tingkat kejujuran rendah sebanyak 6 data.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan berfokus kepada konstruksi kekuasaan yang terdapat pada berita rubrik pendidikan media online Fajar.co.id. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan konstruksi kekuasaan teks pemberitaan media online Fajar.co.id berdasarkan analisi nilai ekperensial melalui fitur kosakata dengan menggunakan teori Norman Fairclough. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah adalah teks berita yang diambil dari rubrik pendidikan di media online Fajar.co.id. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi, baca-simak, dan pencatatan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1). Pemberitaan media online Fajar.co.id berdasarkan analisi nilai ekperensial melalui fitur kosakata mengarah pada bentuk kekuasaan. Pada fitur kata-kata ideologis yang diperjuangkan ditandai dengan adanya kosakata guru, timur, sisdiknas, pelaku, penghargaan, unila dan sekolah. Pada fitur pola klasisikasi yang tergambar dalam teks terbagi dua bagian (1) modus perintah ditandai dengan kosakata mensyukuri, sebaiknya, lebih tegas, harus sesuasi, lebih tegas, dan tolong konfirmasi (2) modus larangan.ditandai dengan penggunaan kosakata jangan membuka, padahal, berharap, jangan memaksa, tidak ikut, dan jangan membuka semuanya yang digunakan dalam pemberitaan. Proses leksikalisasi terbagi dua bagian (1) kelebihan leksikalisasi ditandai dengan kosakata insan pendidikan dan guru dan tenaga pendidik, kelainan seksual dan tertarik melakukan hubungan badan dengan laki-laki, ideologis dan filosofis. (2) kekurangan leksikalisasi ditandai dengan kosakata gitu ya, itu ada, dipaksa-paksa begitu. Relasi makna ideologis terbagi dua (1) makna antonimi dapat ditandai dengan penggunaan kosakata mengefektifkan dan mengefisienkan, massif dan intensif, ringan dan mudah dipahami (2) makna sinonimi dapat ditandai dengan penggunaan kosakata korban dan pelaku, bujuk rayu dan mengancam, perkotaan dan pelosok

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to describe (1) The learning design, (2) Iimplementation of learning, and (3) Learning outcomes in implementing the teaching and learning process of the Bugis regional language, this research is expected to provide theoretical and practical benefits. This research is qualitative research namely class observations carried out based on aspects that are directly observed in the implementation of the teaching and learning class. The subjects of this study were 56 students of class X DKV Department at SMK Negeri 1 Barru. Data collection techniques in research namely, observation, tests, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the results of observations on the implementation of the teaching and learning process for the Bugis regional language for class X DKV students at SMK Negeri 1 Barru are well realized based on observations in class. This can be seen from the observations matched on the observation sheet with the implementation of teaching and learning directly, observations of student learning outcomes which can be seen by tests given by the teacher to students, most students are unable to read lontara writing. The results of the study showed that students were active and enthusiastic about learning the Bugis local language by doing a number of things that could encourage learning the Bugis language so as to bring positive changes. The conclusion in this study is that the implementation of the teaching and learning process for class X DKV students at SMK Negeri 1 Barru is categorized as good.Keywords: learning design, implementation, learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to prove the effectiveness of using the lontarak card game technique in learning Makassar language vocabulary for fourth grade students of SD No.191 Inpres Paku Kab.Takalar. This type of research is pre-Experimental in the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest research. The population in this study were all students of class IV SD No.191 Inpres Paku Kab.Takalar totaling 25 people. The sample in this study consisted of all the population of class IV SD No.191 Inpres Paku Kabupaten Takalar, totaling 25 people. The sampling technique in this study used saturated sampling. The technique used to collect data in this study is using a written test. The research procedures included planning, pretest, treatment, posttest, and the results of the pretest and posttest were compared with the appropriate statistical tests. The results of Makassar language vocabulary learning in the pretest have an average score of 56.9 and can be categorized as low, and the results of Makassar language vocabulary learning in the posttest have an average score of 90.5 and are categorized as high. Comparison of the average Makassar language vocabulary learning score before and after treatment increased by 33.6. The results showed that, t_count = 62.25 and t_table = 2.064, then t_count ≥ t_table or 62.25 ≥ 2.064 was obtained. So that it can be said that H_0 is rejected and H_1 is accepted, this means that there is an influence of using the ejection card game technique on learning Makassar language vocabulary in class IV SD No.191 Inpres Paku Kabupaten Takalar. Keywords.
