Abstract

Residential areas in Pematang Gubernur Village are facing the problem of accumulated household waste, indiscriminate littering, and a lack of green open spaces, which reduce the community's sense of well-being and concern for cleanliness. This community service initiative provides a solution involving community participation through community service activities to clean the environment and the development of Pematang Park, a simple, collaboratively managed green space. The goal of this community service initiative is to raise community awareness and responsibility for maintaining environmental cleanliness and encourage sustainable public space maintenance practices. Methods used to address the problem include identifying locations with high levels of waste with residents and vi lage officials, conducting brief education sessions on clean living behaviors and household waste management, implementing mutual cooperation to clean and tidy the area, and creating a park through reforestation and simple facility arrangement. The results of this initiative show improvements in environmental cleanliness, increased community participation in community service activities, and the establishment of Pematang Park as an educational tool and a sense of ownership. These findings demonstrate that collective activities accompanied by green space management can effectively address cleanliness issues and increase community awareness.

Abstract

Environmental degradation in Penurunan Subdistrict, Bengkulu City is partly caused by the lack of green spaces and low public awareness of environmental conservation. This community service activity aims to increase public awareness through a tree planting program as a form of environmental education. The methods used include socialization, tree planting practice, and community assistance, especially involving children as agents of change.The results show increased understanding of the benefits of trees in improving air quality, preventing flooding, and enhancing environmental comfort. Community participation also grew, creating a sense of responsibility for maintaining the planted trees. This program is expected to create a greener, healthier, and more sustainable environment.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has changed the way people interact, shop, and conduct business. This change also affects students' mindset in viewing business opportunities. As the digital generation, students are expected to be able to leverage technological advancements to create jobs independently. However, not all students have a strong interest in entrepreneurship, making it important to examine the factors that can influence this, such as digital consumer behavior and the use of digital platforms. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of digital consumer behavior and the use of digital platforms on the independent entrepreneurial interest of students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Dehasen University Bengkulu. This study uses a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires to 86 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 21 with multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination test. Regression equation: Y = 6.324 + 0.620X₁ + 0.238X₂ + 1.684, which describes a positive relationship between digital consumer behavior and the utilization of digital platforms on students' interest in independent entrepreneurship. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.870 means that both independent variables influence 87.0% of the interest in independent entrepreneurship, while the remaining 13.0% is influenced by other variables. The t-test shows that digital consumer behavior (X₁) has a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and the utilization of digital platforms (X₂) has a value of 0.008 < 0.05, both of which have a significant partial effect on entrepreneurial interest. The F-test also shows a value of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that X₁ and X₂ have a significant simultaneous effect on Y.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of taxpayer awareness on regional tax revenue at the Regional Finance Agency of Kaur Regency. This type of research used descriptive quantitative. The sampling technique used the Slovin technique as many as 100 respondents. The research analysis used simple linear regression analysis. From the discussion regarding the effect of taxpayer awareness on local tax revenue in the Regional Finance Agency of Kaur Regency that has been described, it can be concluded that, based on the results of simple linear regression analysis, the general equation of simple linear regression in this study is: Y = 24.489 + 0.483 X. Where Y is the variable of local tax revenue and X is the variable of taxpayer awareness, while the constant value is 24.489 and the regression coefficient value is 0.483. Taxpayer awareness has a significant effect on local tax revenue in Kaur Regency. This is evidenced by the calculated t value of 6.816. While the value of t table is 1.984 so that t count> t table which results in H0 rejected and H1 accepted, which means that the research hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the quality of service at the Dehasen University Bengkulu library. The method used in analyzing the research data after the data is tabulated is a quantitative descriptive method using community satisfaction index analysis. The results of this study indicate that the services provided by the library staff at Dehasen University of Bengkulu are running well, with an index of 3.201 with a service quality of 80.025 in category B namely the performance of the service unit is good. Although there are 2 indicators that are below the 3.044 interval so that it still has to improve the quakity of it’s service.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine factors such as comfort, service quality and price influencing the decision of tourists to visit the Laguna Beach tourist attraction, Kaur Regency. The sample from this study was taken 50 people on Saturday and Sunday, so the number of samples in this study were 100 tourists who visited the Laguna Beach Tourism Object, Kaur Regency. Data collection using a questionnaire. In proving and analyzing the data used validity, reliability, multiple linear regression test and f test and t test. The regression results show that there is a positive influence between comfort, service quality and price on the decision to visit the Laguna Beach tourist attraction, Kaur Regency because the regression direction has a positive direction, namely Y = 16,288 + 0,252X1 + 0,317X2 + 0,244X3 + e. Comfort has a significant effect on the decision to visit the Laguna Beach tourist attraction, Kaur Regency, because the significant value of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05. This means that the better the comfort at the Laguna Beach tourist attraction, Kaur Regency, the decision to visit tourists will also increase. Service quality has a significant effect on customer satisfaction at the Laguna Beach tourist attraction, Kaur Regency, because the significant value of 0.005 is smaller than 0.05. This means that the better the quality of service at the Laguna Beach tourist attraction, Kaur Regency, the better the decision to visit tourists. Price has a significant influence on the decision to visit the Laguna Beach tourist attraction, Kaur Regency because the significant value of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05. This illustrates that as the price increases, the decision to visit tourists will increase. Convenience, service quality and price jointly have a significant effect on the decision to visit the Laguna Beach tourist attraction, Kaur Regency, thus the initial hypothesis proposed is proven (Ha accepted). The coefficient of determination of R square is 0.374. This means that comfort, service quality and price affect the decision to visit by 37.4% while the rest (100-37.4% = 62.6%) is influenced by other causal factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of compensation and job satisfaction on the work motivation of Bengkulu KPKNL employees. The sample in this study were 33 people at the Bengkulu State Property and Auction Service office. Collecting data using a questionnaire and the analytical method used is multiple linear regression, determination test and hypothesis testing. The results of multiple linear regression calculations obtained multiple linear regression equation Y = 8,993 + 0,424X1 + 0,381X2 + 6,136(e). The coefficient of determination of the Adjusted R square value is 0.474. This means that X1 (Compensation), and X2 (satisfaction) have an effect on motivation (Y) by 47.4% while the remaining 52.6% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. The test results for the X1 variable (motivation) show the tcount value is greater than ttable at 2,424 > 1,693 and a significance value of 0.021 < 0.05. Because tcount > ttable and the significance value is less than 0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that X1 (motivation) has a significant influence on work productivity (Y) of employees at PT. Four Lawang Agro Perkasa in Empat Lawang Regency. The test results for the X2 variable (job satisfaction) show the tcount value is greater than ttable at 3.258 > 1.693 and a significance value of 0.003 <0.05. Because tcount > ttable and the significance value is less than 0.05, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that X2 (job satisfaction) has a significant effect on work productivity (Y) of employees at PT. Four Lawang Agro Perkasa in Empat Lawang Regency. The value of Fcount > Ftable (22,986 > 3,29) with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05 indicates that simultaneously X1 (motivation) and X2 (job satisfaction) have a significant effect on work productivity (Y) of employees at PT. Four Lawang Agro Perkasa in Empat Lawang Regency.

Abstract

This study aims is to find out whether the analysis of the internal control system for merchandise inventory at Toko Saga Motor Panorama in Bengkulu City is in accordance with the control system according to Mulyadi (2016: 488). The theory associated with the title explained is the internal assessment system. Toko Saga Motor Panorama in Bengkulu City, carries out cash and credit sales as an effort to attract as many customers as possible to Toko Saga Motor Panorama in Bengkulu City. This research is a type of descriptive research. The data collection method was carried out by observation, interviews and documentation obtained Toko Saga Motor Panorama in Bengkulu City. The results of this research show that the internal assessment system for merchandise inventory at Toko Saga Motor Panorama in Bengkulu City is not in accordance with the control system according to Mulyadi (2016: 488) so it can be said that it has not been carried out effectively. This can be seen from Toko Saga Motor Panorama in Bengkulu City which does not have its own control system and does not have adequate storage and there are no operations in the organizational structure at Toko Saga Motor Panorama in Bengkulu City because it is only carried out by two people who run all the divisions. In determining the inventory valuation method, the company uses the LIFO method because the last item will be the cost of goods sold. This will provide greater profits compared to the FIFO method.

Abstract

This research aims to test whether there is an influence of Financial and Non-Financial Compensation on the Performance of Employees of Hakasima Media TV in Bengkulu City. Based on the characteristics of the research, 39 samples were obtained using the Census or Saturated sampling method. Based on the results of the Multiple Linear Regression research, it shows that Y=12,305+0.413+0.86 9+e which proves that Financial Compensation has a positive effect on the Employees’ Performance of Hakasima Media TV of Bengkulu City of 0.413, and Non-Financial Compensation has a positive effect on the Employees’ Performance of Hakasima Media TV of Bengkulu City of 0.869. The results of the t test show that Financial Compensation has t count> t table (3.455 > 2.028) and a significant value of 0.001 < 0.05, therefore Ho is rejected, which means that Financial Compensation has a positive and significant effect on the the employees’ performance of Hakasima Media TV of Bengkulu City, and Nonfinancial Compensation is quite dominant with t count > t table (10.642 > 2.028), and has a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05 then Ho is rejected which means that non-financial compensation has a significant and significant impact on the Employees’ Performance of Hakasima Media TV of Bengkulu City. Based on the F test (simultaneous) it is known that the significance value is 0.000 < 0.05 and calculated F> F table (89.769 > 3.26) which means that financial compensation and non-financial compensation have a significant effect on the Employees’ Performance of Hakasima Media TV of Bengkulu City. Based on the results of the determination coefficient test, it is known that Financial Compensation and Non-Financial Compensation have an effect on the Employees’ Performance of Hakasima Media TV of Bengkulu City of 0.833 or 83.3% and the remainder (100-83.3% = 16.7%) is influenced by other variables not examined in this research.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between communication and additional income of employees with performance in the Kaur district communication and informatics department. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive. The sampling technique used census techniques as many as 29 respondents taken from the civil servants of the communication and informatics department of the district of Kaur. Analysis of research is using Pearson correlation and hypothesis test using the t-test. From the discussion about the relationship between communication and additional employee income (TPP) with the performance of civil servants in the KOMINFO Office of Kaur Regency that has been described, then conclusions can be drawn, There is a significant relationship between communication and employee performance. This is evidenced by the calculated r value of 0.411 with moderate interpretation criteria. While the value of tcount of 2,342 is greater than the ttable of 2,052 which results in H0 being rejected and Ha accepted, which means the research hypothesis is accepted. There is no significant relationship between additional employee income and performance. This is evidenced by the calculated r value of -0.061 with very weak interpretation criteria. While the value of tcount of -0.316 is smaller than ttable of 2.052 which results in H0 being accepted and Ha being rejected, which means the research hypothesis is rejected.
