Abstract

This research and development aims to produce shared-type interactive e-modules on energy sub-materials and energy sources. The e-module development model uses ADDIE by integrating energy transformation materials, energy applications in living things, as well as energy source-forming compounds. In field trials, using a type of pre-experiment research with a one-group pretest-posttest design. This research was carried out at SMPIT Bakti Insani class VII with saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique uses essay questions to find out the results of understanding the concept and a likert scale questionnaire to find out the results of reading interest. The data analysis technique uses a paired T test with the aim of seeing the significance of the e-module to reading interest and concept understanding and the n gain test to see an increase in the value of reading interest and concept understanding. Based on theoretical feasibility tests by experts, an average of 40.4 with excellent categories and empirical feasibility tests by students were 63.75 with excellent categories. Based on the development and research, it can be concluded that 1) the shared type interactive science e-module product is feasible to use with an excellent category; 2) the shared type interactive science e-module affects the interest in reading and understanding concepts with a significance of 0.000; 3) the shared-type interactive science e-module is able to increase reading interest by 0.52 with medium category and increase understanding of concepts 0.81 with high category.

Abstract

Majene

Abstract

Students' learning styles are different, therefore it is important for teachers to know students' learning styles. The aim of this research conducted at SDN Pandeanlamper 03 is to implement the PBL learning model in an effort to improve Pancasila Education learning outcomes in terms of students' learning styles. class 6B. The research began by conducting initial diagnostic tests to determine students' learning styles, creating teaching modules, implementing learning and evaluating learning outcomes. The type of research used is a combination of quantitative and qualitative research (mixed methods). The mixed method research design used was a sequential exploratory design. Quantitative research uses Pre-Experimental Designs in the form of one group pretest-posttest design. Quantitative research is used to determine student learning outcomes. Qualitative research is used to help understand differentiated learning in terms of students' learning styles and students' experiences in the classroom after the learning is implemented. This research obtained information about the implementation of the PBL learning model to improve Pancasila Education learning outcomes in terms of class 6B learning styles. The pretest results obtained the lowest score of 40 and the highest score of 80, while the posttest results obtained the lowest score of 60 and the highest score of 100 and seen from the N-Gain Score which is 0.5717 which is in the medium category, it can be concluded that Differentiated Learning with the PBL Model of Educational Materials Pancasila for Class 6B students at SDN Pandeanlamper 03 can improve learning outcomes. The data on student responses to differentiated learning in terms of learning styles received a positive response of 85 percent, meaning that differentiation learning in terms of learning styles made students happy and enthusiastic in learning.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are important for students to have for their future. One way to improve it is to apply virtual laboratory learning media to Science subjects. This study aims to analyze the implementation of virtual labs to improve students' critical thinking skills in science learning. This qualitative descriptive research uses content analysis study method. Researchers collect and classify various research results on the application of Virtual Laboratory (VL) from the S1-S3 Journal of Sinta using the PRISMA method and analyze them using a research instrument in the form of a Paper Classification Form (PCF). As a result, research on the use of virtual laboratories to improve students' critical thinking skills in science learning continues to increase from year to year, from high school to university levels. PhET and virtual labs developed by researchers when applied in class using inquiry models or STEM approaches or experimental methods have been proven to be able to effectively stimulate students to think critically

Abstract

The need and availability of digital open materials such as e-books that contain original knowledge are very necessary in science learning, in order to create contextual learning. The basis for the need for e-books containing indigenous knowledge is the existence of various problems that occur in science learning. Some of the problems with science learning include, students still think it is difficult, science learning is irrelevant, uninteresting and monotonous, student’s comprehension ability is lacking and non-contextual science learning. This research aims to find out what needs teachers and students want so that science learning can be more innovative. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The instruments used were interview guides, questionnaire sheets and science literacy tests. Data collection carried out in this research was interviews, questionnaires and scientific literacy tests. The sample involved in this research was 1 teacher and 53 students using a cluster random sampling technical.

Abstract

Education curriculum in Indonesia changed from the revised 2013 Curriculum to the Merdeka Curriculum. It requires the strategic, methods, teaching materials, learning model, media and method used by teachers. One of the teaching materials is an electronic module. The research aimed to explore information from the perspective of teachers and students regarding the electronic science module in the Merdeka Curriculum. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The data collection technique was carried out by interviewing three science teachers, and an open questionnaire of students from three schools in Yogyakarta by 115 students. The research results according to the teacher's and student’s perspective on electronic science module in the Merdeka Curriculum. Teachers are very interested in using electronic modules to help science learning. Students prefer to study with electronic module because they can be accessed via laptops or smartphones and can add teaching materials other than textbooks to the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. Electronic module can be used as an alternative solution to support students’ understanding of science material. The results can be used for further research to develop electronic module that are following the characteristics of students and supported by facilities to access it
