Abstract

Regional autonomy provides additional authority for regional governments to manage all regional affairs and interests in a more independent manner. This autonomy policy gives authority to the regions to regulate and manage the interests of the local community, explore sources of finance and local revenue for the city of Probolinggo. Market retribution is a form of payment charged to users who occupy shops to carry out economic transactions in the market area. The E-levy policy is a solution provided by the government in managing fees by implementing an internet-based information technology system. The type of research used is qualitative by using the method of observation and direct interviews with respondents. So it can be seen that the implementation of E-levies in the mutual cooperation market in increasing financial income and regional assets of the city of Probolinggo is not optimal. The focus of this research was conducted on Gotong Royong Market traders in Probolinggo City who occupy Bedak. The results of this study indicate that there is no difference in the implementation of the Gotong Royong Market E-Retribution policy in Probolinggo City. While the factors that influence the sustainability of implementing the e-retribution program in the mutual cooperation market are only influenced by the factor of traders who lack awareness in paying levy taxes.

Abstract

Depresi adalah penyakit mental yang umum tapi serius biasanya ditandai dengan perasaan sedih atau cemas. Kebanyakan mahasiswa kadang-kadang merasa sedih atau cemas, tapi emosi ini biasanya berlalu dengan cepat dalam beberapa hari. Depresi yang tidak diobati berlangsung untuk waktu yang lama, mengganggu kegiatan sehari-hari, dan jauh lebih dari sekedar "sedikit murung" atau "merasa sedih". Pada tahun 2011, Asosiasi Kesehatan American College National College Health Assessment(ACHA-NCHA) sebuah survei nasional pada mahasiswa di dua dan empat lembaga menemukan bahwa sekitar 30 persen dari mahasiswa melaporkan merasa "begitu tertekan sehingga sulit untuk berfungsi" pada beberapa waktu dalam satu tahun terakhir. Dengan dasar tersebut maka diperlukan sebuah sistem pakar untuk membantu mahasiswa dalam mendeteksi tingkat depresi. Adapun sistem pakar yang dibuat dalam pembuatan sistem pakar ada tiga tahap utama dalam pengembangan softwareini: fuzzifikasi, inferensi dan defuzzifikasi, menggunakan Tsukamoto pada tahap inference. Pada tahap defuzzifikasi, Center Average Deffuzzyfier digunakan untuk mendapatkan aturan output crisp. Basis Aturan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 64 aturan. Adapun sistem pakar yang dibangun menggunakan metode Fuzzy Tsukamoto sebagai metode penalaran untuk menentukan hasil deteksi berdasarkan gejala yang ditunjukkan. Sistem pakar ini dibangun berbasis Desktop agar dapat digunakan oleh mahasiswa dan instansi/lembaga yang membutuhkan. Berdasarkan pengujian yang dilakukan, sistem pakar ini valid dengan tingkat akurasi sebesar 96% dalam memberikan hasil deteksi yang sesuai dengan pakar,dari hasil data sebanyak 25 percobaan. Selain itu sistem dapat beroperasi baik.

Abstract

Pondok pesantren diharapkan dapat mencerdaskan santri, membekali mereka dengan ilmu agama, dan mendidik akhlak para santri. Akan tetapi, pesantren masih kesulitan dalam mendata santri dan pendidik/ustadz secara digital. Hal ini dikarenakan sistem pendataan masih bersifat manual dan tercetak. Mitra pengabdian ini adalah pondok pesantren KH Murodi Mranggen Demak dimana permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra adalah 1) proses pembelajaran yang masih dilaksanakan secara konvensional baik dengan cara bandongan maupun sorogan dan 2) dokumentasi pembelajaran pun masih menggunakan paper-based sehingga proses pemantauan belajar santri tidak dapat diketahui oleh wali santri secara langsung. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah 1) membantu mitra dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dan 2) memfasilitasi mitra berupa inovasi e-pesantren yang merupakan sistem informasi terintegrasi. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan adalah 1) pembuatan e-pesantren dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan, pembuatan e-pesantren, simulasi, sosialisasi, pelaksanaan dan pendampingan, dan 2) pengelolaan pembelajaran berbasis TIK. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah terbentuknya aplikasi e-pesantren yang dapat digunakan oleh pengguna dan peningkatan kemampuan ustadz, admin, pengelola, dan santri dalam mengelola pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran TIK sebesar 100%. Pondok pesantren diharapkan membuat kebijakan untuk memastikan keberlangsungan penggunaan aplikasi tersebut.

Abstract

Sign Language is a method used by the deaf community for their communication. In line with the advances of deep learning, researchers have widely interpreted neural networks for language recognition in recent years. Many models and hardware have been developed to help get high accuracy in language recognition, but generally, the problem of accuracy is still a concern of researchers, even the accuracy problem related to American language or American sign language (ASL) still requires further research to solve. This paper discusses a method to improve ASL recognition accuracy using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) with hand keypoint. Pre-trained Keypoint detector is used to generate hand keypoints on the massey dataset as an input for classification in the CNN model. The results show that the accuracy of the proposed method is better than the previous studies, obtaining an accuracy of 99.1% in recognizing the 26 statistical signs of the ASL alphabet.

Abstract

Purpose: High population growth and increasing consumption patterns have resulted in significant organic waste production. The public often does not understand the correct way to deal with the problem of organic waste, including public awareness regarding the need for its management. Therefore, a system is needed to recognize waste objects based on various types. Currently, much research in this field has been studying object recognition, for example, the implementation of the Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) model. However, there are still various challenges that must be addressed, including objects with diverse visual characteristics such as form, size, color, and physical condition. This research focuses on developing a system that enhances object recognition of waste, specifically organic waste, using an Attention Convolutional Neural Network (ACNN). By integrating attention mechanisms into the CNN model, this study addresses the challenges of recognizing waste objects with diverse visual characteristics. The proposed system seeks to improve the accuracy and efficiency of organic waste identification, which is crucial for advancing waste management practices and reducing environmental impact. Methods: This research combines a CNN architecture with an attention mechanism to create a better object detection environment called Attention-CNN (ACNN). The ACNN architecture employed consists of one layer input, three convoluted layers, three max-pooling layers, one attention layer, one flattened layer, four dropout layers, and two dense layers arranged in a certain way. Result: The research result shows that the model CNN with attention mechanism (ACNN) was slightly better at 86.93% than the standard model of CNN, which accounted for 86.70% in accuracy. Novelty: In general, the current use of CNN architecture to address waste object recognition problems typically employs standard architectures, resulting in lower accuracy for complex waste objects. In contrast, our research integrates attention mechanisms into the CNN architecture (ACNN), enhancing the model's ability to focus on relevant features of waste objects. This leads to improved recognition accuracy and robustness against visual variability. This distinction is important as it overcomes the limitations of standard CNN models in handling visually diverse and complex waste objects, thereby highlighting the novelty and contribution of our research.

Abstract

The habit of getting drunk and gambling rampant in the Cirebon Baru hamlet is a general problem faced by the community in Indonesia. This habit is considered a negative one because it contradicts the norms that the community has agreed upon. This negative behavior changed with the birth and development of the Mamba'ul Ishlah Islamic boarding school, driven by several religious leaders. This article aims to analyze the structural functionalism process carried out by the boarding school through its religious leaders so that it can change the social system of the community in a more positive direction. Through a case study approach, this article explains in an analytical descriptive manner. The theory used to analyze the case is Talcott Parson's structural functionalism which includes adaptation, goal attainment, integration, and latency pattern. This article found two important things related to the role of Islamic boarding schools in social change in the community, namely the cultural part by taking a more persuasive and intimate approach, namely by cutting the communication distance with the community through the tradition of jagongan and jokes. Second, the structural role is by utilizing the increasing social status of religious leaders so that they have complete legitimacy to direct the community in a more positive direction, namely the perpetuation of spiritual routines such as yasinan, istighotsah, shalawat assemblies, and yellow book recitation.

Abstract

Strategi pemasaran guna meningkatkan pendapatan melalui media sosial di perlukan adanya komunikasi yang berjalan dengan baik karena komunikasi merupakan kegiatan yang penting dimana akan ada pertanyaan – pertanyaan yang akan muncul yang perlu di tanggapi dengan baik agar orang tertarik. Instagram merupakan media sosial yang digunakan untuk berbagai kegiatan yaitu dengan mengirimkan foto dan video lebih cepat dan juga sebaliknya di instagram kita dapat melihat foto atau video yang dikirimkan oleh orang lain. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian  deskriptif  kualitatif pada akun @.abdisehat cibinong penelitian yang menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa ucapan atau tulisan. Penelitian ini tentang bagaimana pemanfaatan instragam dalam kegiatan usaha dan maksimalkah promosi atau pemasaran yang di lakukan melalui media sosial instagram. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder yaitu data yang di dapat dari  observasi pada instagran di akun @abdisehat cibinong serta data – data yang di dapatkan juga berasal dari dokumentasi gambar dan dari media social lainya seperti whatsapp yang dimiliki oleh pemilik usaha ini. akun @.abdisehat cibinong dapat di gunakan untuk meningkatkan promosi dan komunikasi pemasaran.

Abstract

This systematic literature review explores the identity transformation of artists transitioning into politics, using Nafa Urbach's journey as a case study and applying the Communication Theory of Identity (CTI) by Michael Hecht. The study aims to identify key factors influencing this transition, including communication strategies, media portrayals, and public perceptions. Through a comprehensive analysis of scholarly literature, this review examines how artists negotiate their identities across personal, relational, communal, and material frames to gain political legitimacy. The findings indicate that artists must strategically communicate their political agenda and reshape their public image to establish credibility and overcome initial skepticism from both the public and media. Media portrayals significantly influence audience perception, underscoring the need for effective media engagement strategies. The study also highlights the broader implications of identity transformations on political communication dynamics. As artists navigate dual expectations from their entertainment fanbase and politically engaged audiences, maintaining a coherent and relatable identity becomes crucial for political success. The research contributes to a deeper understanding of how communication strategies shape identity negotiation and political acceptance for celebrity politicians. This review offers practical insights for political campaign strategists and media professionals while laying a foundation for future studies on identity formation in political contexts.

Abstract

The Al-Qur’an serves as a fundamental guide for Muslims, requiring both comprehension and practice. Accurate recitation according to tajweed rules is essential for a deeper understanding of its meaning. Despite the growing focus on classification across various modalities, studies specifically targeting audio objects remain relatively limited, motivating further exploration in this area. This study focused on the classification of the tajweed rule as the decided audio object, leveraging the potential of Natural Language Processing (NLP) to support Qur’an research and studies, as well as developing applications that may help learners understand the Qur’an, so further study is needed on the recognition of tajweed reading rules, one of which is the noon saakin or tanween tajweed rule. Audio features were extracted using Mel-Frequency Cepstrum Coefficients (MFCC) technique, which has been widely adopted in various study within the scope of audio processing tasks. These features were subsequently used to train a classification model based on Deep Neural Network (DNN) algorithm. Experiment results demonstrate that the DNN classification model produces an accuracy of 71% and f1 score respectively for iqlab of 0.8, idgham of 0.46, idzhar of 0.77, and ikhfa of 0.72. The results of testing the model with new foreign data, each class tested with one data has successful rate of 50%. These findings indicate that the classification model needs to be further improved in terms of its design or diversity of the audio data, especially model improvements in the recognizing idgham, idzhar, and ikhfa laws.

Abstract

The author takes a problem formulation which aims to determine the scientific statistical results of the RGEC Dominance ranking analysis of Earnings per Share at PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk 2008-2022. The research method uses quantitative numerical cases with a descriptive style design. This research uses secondary data techniques from the Annual Report of PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk 2008-2022 with variable analysis techniques using multiple regression and multiple correlation. The test results using the t test (partial test) of the Earnings indicator represented by Return on Assets (ROA) show that the most influence has a very strong positive value. H0 is accepted as a normally distributed residual on Earnings per Share, the test results using the F test (simultaneous test) prove that together -with the independent variable entity RGEC having a positive value is able to explain the very strong level of relationship between normally distributed residuals and Earnings per Share.
