Abstract

Motivation to develop a new business is required not only by self-confidence in its ability to succeed, but also by its ability to access information about entrepreneurial opportunities. This study aims to determine how the motivation to entrepreneurship street vendors in Seruni Beach, Bantaeng Regency. Data collection used through observation, interview and documentation techniques. Informants in the study were seven informants with the type of research and the approach used was a qualitative description. Data collection used through observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results showed that the motivation of the street vendors on Seruni Beach, Bantaeng Regency in terms of each indicator, starting from the entrepreneurial spirit indicator displayed by the street vendors, the results showed that there was indeed enthusiasm in a trader, an indicator of creativity whose results showed the traders had creativity, an innovative indicator whose results show that traders have innovative, risk-taking indicators of courage, the results show that traders are brave enough to take all kinds of risks in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Especially vocational education programs must be oriented to the needs of the labor market. Therefore, educational institutions need to establish cooperation with the industrial world. The aims of this study: to find out the implementation of industrial work practices of students. To find out the work readiness of students of class XI competency in Office Administration skills at SMK Negeri 1 Jeneponto. To determine the effect of the implementation of industrial work practices on the work readiness of students of class XI competency in Office Administration expertise at SMK Negeri 1 Jeneponto. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach to the type of association research There are 3 data collection techniques used in this study, observation, questionnaires and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and inferential analysis techniques. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: Implementation of Industrial Work Practices of students Competency in Office Administration Skills at SMK Negeri 1 Jeneponto is included in the excellent category. The work readiness of Class XI Office Administration students at SMK Negeri 1 Jeneponto belongs to the very high category. And there is a strong and significant influence between the implementation of industrial work practices on work readiness of students.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The purpose of this research is to find out how the promotion strategy for non-wage recipients becomes a participant of the Labors’ Health Insurance Administering Agency (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) of Makassar branch, as well as what are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the promotion strategy of non-wage recipients who become the participants of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan of Makassar branch. The informants in this study were the Head of Marketing for Non-Wage Recipients, Marketing Associates for Non-Wage Recipient Participants, and Non-Wage Recipient Workers. The data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques is using data reduction techniques (data reduction), data display (data presentation), and conclusions drawing / verification. The results showed that BPJS Ketenagakerjaan of Makassar branch only used four of five forms of promotional strategies, namely advertising, sales promotion, public relations, and personal selling. The supporting factors in the promotion strategy for non-Wage recipients to become the participants of the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan of Makassar Branch are doing cooperation with stakeholders and protection agents as well as support from government agencies. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the lack of public awareness and understanding of the importance of the benefits of the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan as well as the relatively low level of education of non-wage recipients. By improving the promotion strategy it is very important to increase public understanding on the importance of the Labors’ Health Insurance Admnistering Agency Program for socio-economic protection, especially for non-wage recipients.

Abstract

Administrative services by Fees for Acquisition of Land and Building Rights at the Makassar City Regional Revenue Agency office have resulted in a good performance. The purpose of this research is to describe the effectiveness of administrative services of acquisition duties on land and building rights at the Makassar City Regional Revenue Agency office. This research is a quantitative descriptive. The results showed: shows that the effectiveness of administrative services for land and building rights in the office of the Regional Revenue Agency of Makassar City with the effective category of timeliness which is categorized as effective is 94.61%, the accuracy of services categorized as effective is 71.38%, politeness and friendly categorized as effective 94%, ease of getting services that were categorized as effective 94.46%, and comfort in getting services that were categorized as quite effective 54.30%. This proves that the administrative service of acquisition fees on land and building rights (BPHTB) at the Makassar City Regional Revenue Agency office has been able to carry out its duties and responsibilities and can implement an administrative service system properly.

Abstract

E-marketing creates fundamental changes in business and consumer behavior, this happens because marketing does not require a lot of money, in contrast to traditional marketing. The purpose of this study was to determine e-marketing in selling Eid cakes (kue lebaran) from the perspective of the Technology Acceptance Model by using Social Network Analysis. The data is obtained from tweets on the Twitter application, the data obtained are tweets from April 2-20 2022. Data analysis uses the ATLAS.ti application. This study uses the keyword "jual kue lebaran", including only tweets, without retweets and images. Meanwhile Create codings from: authors, mentions, hashtags, and query hashtags only. Then do network analysis, tweets that stand alone or have no relationship with other tweets will be eliminated or excluded. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that Eid cake producers on the Twitter market their sales in the form of general promotional tweets or mentions to several accounts using easy word selection in conducting searches.

Abstract

It is not possible to manage members of an organization with different personalities, backgrounds, levels of will and abilities, by using only a single leadership. Therefore, dealing with situations or different levels of employee maturity requires different leadership styles. This study aims to determine the Situational Leadership Style applied to PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Mattoangin Makassar Branch Office, in terms of the dimensions of Telling Style, Selling Style, Participating Style and Delegating Style. The research method used is a descriptive research method with a quantitative approach. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires/questionnaires, structured interviews, direct observation, and documents. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with saturated sampling (census) as many as 42 employees. Respondents' answers were analyzed using descriptive analysis through the distribution of frequencies and percentages. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Situational Leadership Style which consists of four dimensions, namely the Telling Style is quite good and has a percentage of 77.30%. Selling Style is good and has a percentage of 84, 32%. Participating Style is very good and has a percentage of 85, 95%. Meanwhile, Delegating Style is good and has a percentage of 80.00%.

Abstract

Implementation of the Design Thinking Method for Validating Business Ideas in Seafood Selling Businesses in Sijelling Village, Tellusiattinge District, Bone Regency. Thesis of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Business Administration Study Program, Makassar State University. This study aims to find out how to implement the design thinking method to validate business ideas for selling marine fish. To achieve this goal, this study used a qualitative approach, this study took 6 (six) respondents, consisting of consumers and fish manufacturers. Data collection procedures used were in-depth interviews and documentation. The interview technique was carried out in a structured manner using design thinking interview guidelines. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the design thinking method can create products according to user needs through the stages of empathize, define, ideate, prototyping, and testing. After carrying out several stages of design thinking, this research resulted in a prototype design in the form of a business model canvas (BMC). Business model creation can be run with the nine elements of the business model canvas. The nine elements are customer segment, value proposition, channel, customer relationship, revenue streams, key resources, key activities, key partners and cost structure.

Abstract

Analysis of Strategies for Increasing the Competitiveness of Rice Products at the Perum Bulog Cabang Makassar.. Thesis. Business Administration Study Program. Faculty of Social Sciences and Law. Makassar public university. (Supervised by Muhammad Darwis and Andi Muhammad Rivai). This study aims to determine and analyze strategies to increase the competitiveness of rice products at the BulogBranch of Perum Makassar. To achieve this goal, this study used a qualitative approach, this study took five respondents, consisting of A.M Retail, Direct and E-Commerce, A.M Distributor, Commercial Staff, and consumers. Data collection procedures used were in-depth interviews and documentation. The interview technique was carried out in a structured manner using interview guidelines. The results of this study indicate that the Makassar Branch of Bulog Perum has implemented a good and effective strategy to increase competitiveness in accordance with Michael E. Porter's theory. In carrying out the implementation of the competitiveness improvement strategy, Perum Bulog Makassar Branch conducts research on low-cost strategies, product differentiation strategies, innovation strategies, growth strategies, and cooperation strategies to determine a competitiveness strategy.Keywords: Strategy for Increasing Competitiveness, Rice, Perum Bulog
