Abstract

Among various edaphoclimatic factors influencing coffee bean quality, altitude is one of the primary factors that should be taken into account. This study aims to explore the relationship between altitude, morphological traits, and biochemical composition of robusta coffee in Temanggung Regency, the largest coffee-producing area in Central Java Province, Indonesia. Research sites were purposively selected and categorized into two altitude groups: GS, PS, and GN, located at circa 600 m a.s.l., and GT, WO, and TG, located at circa 900 m a.s.l. A total of 15 morphological traits were observed, consisting of eight vegetative and seven generative traits. Caffeine content was measured following the AOAC procedure using UV-Vis spectrophotometry, while brew acidity was evaluated using a pH meter. Several morphological traits of Temanggung robusta coffee demonstrated significant relationships with altitude. Canopy and stem diameter showed negative correlations with altitude, with correlation coefficients of -0.366 and  -0.408, respectively. Conversely, fruit width               (r = 0.041), bean length (r = 0.049), and bean thickness (r = 0.047) exhibited positive correlations. Regarding biochemical composition, caffeine content stood out by displaying a strong positive correlation with altitude (r = 0.816). Additionally, several morphological traits, including the number of primary branches, the number of productive branches, the number of fruits per bunch, and traits related to fruits and beans, appear to be advantageous for selection and breeding programs. Understanding these relationships provides valuable insights for developing superior Temanggung robusta coffee plants adapted to specific altitudinal conditions.

Abstract

The research problem formulated in this study includes: Does the discount price have a significant effect on customer satisfaction at Nhabeauty Salon in Jombor Bendosari Sukoharjo? Does promotion have a significant effect on customer satisfaction at Nhabeauty Salon in Jombor Bendosari Sukoharjo? Does the discount price have a significant effect on customer loyalty at Nhabeauty Salon in Jombor Bendosari Sukoharjo? Does promotion have a significant effect on customer loyalty at Nhabeauty Salon in Jombor Bendosari Sukoharjo? Does customer satisfaction affect customer loyalty at Nhabeauty Salon in Jombor Bendosari Sukoharjo? Does the discount price significantly affect customer loyalty at Nhabeauty Salon in Jombor Bendosari Sukoharjo through customer satisfaction? The first hypothesis suggests that the discount price affects customer satisfaction at Nhabeauty Salon in Jombor Sukoharjo as the t-value obtained is 0.026 < t-table 1.660, with a significance level (ρ) of 0.979 (not significant). The second hypothesis, which states that promotion affects customer satisfaction at Nhabeauty Salon in Jombor, is accepted since the t-value obtained is 6.185 with a significance level (ρ) of 0.000 (significant), as the t-value 6.185 > t-table 1.660. The third hypothesis, which states that discount prices affect customer loyalty at Nhabeauty Salon in Jombor Sukoharjo, is proven, with a t-value of 3.949 and a significance level (ρ) of 0.000 (significant). The fourth hypothesis, which states that promotion affects customer loyalty at Nhabeauty Salon in Jombor Sukoharjo, is also proven. This is because the t-value obtained is 6.185 with a significance level (ρ) of 0.000 (significant). The fifth hypothesis, which states that customer satisfaction affects customer loyalty at Nhabeauty Salon in Jombor Sukoharjo, is not proven, as the t-value obtained is 0.340 with a significance level (ρ) of 0.734 (not significant), and the t-value 0.340 < t-table 1.660. The sixth hypothesis, which states that discount prices do not affect customer loyalty through satisfaction, is not proven, as the t-value obtained is 0.025 with a significance level (ρ) of 0.980 (not significant). The seventh hypothesis, which states that promotion affects customer loyalty through satisfaction, is proven. Abstract

Introduction: Stroke is one of the main health problems, not only in Indonesia but in the world. Stroke occurs when the brain's blood vessels experience a blockage or rupture which results in part of the brain not getting the blood supply that carries the necessary oxygen so that cell/ tissue death occurs.  Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the risk factors for Stroke in Stroke patients in the Linggang Bigung Health Center working area.  Methods: This study used a descriptive retrospective research design, with a sample size of 22 respondents. Results and Discussion: The results of the study obtained as many as 7 respondents (32%) each with the latest education not in school and elementary school. The majority of 14 respondents (65%) were >55 years old, with the majority of 13 respondents (59%) being male, 16 respondents (73%) had no family history of Stroke, in this study all respondents had hypertension, 13 respondents (59%) had DM, 18 respondents (82%) each smoked and consumed alcohol, while 21 respondents (95%) were not obese.  Conclusion: In this study most, respondents were aged >55 years, male gender, had smoking behavior and alcohol consumption and all respondents in this study had hypertension.

Abstract

Introduction: In 2021 people with Diabetes Mellitus at Work Area Dempar Public Health Center Dempar are still high, while patient visits to health services are still relatively low. Walking exercise is drug therapy and a healthy diet. Walking exercise performed 3-4 times a week with moderate intensity can rapidly increase the glucose transporter in skeletal muscle, so that fatty acid oxidation and glucose absorption will be accelerated. Objective: This study aims to identify the effect of programmed walking exercise on blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. Method: This type of experimental research uses a quasi-experimental design without control with purposive sampling involving 11 respondents. Analysis of the data using the Reaped Measured ANOVA test. Result and Discussion: walking exercise 3 times a week there was a decrease in the average of the first week to the fourth week of 124 g/dl, p-value 0.000 (<0.05). Conclusion: that there is an effect of walking exercise on blood sugar of DM patients in the area of ??Dempar Public Health Center.

Abstract

Salah satu persoalan urban perkotaan adalah kepadatan penduduk yang menyebabkan minimnya ruang sosial yang terpadu dan ramah bagi anak dan pemenuhan hak-hak dasar anak. Akibatnya anak-anak dalam kondisi rentan dan berpotensi mengalami kekerasan, eksploitasi, pelecehan dan pengabaian. Artikel ini menggunakan tafsir ideologis-sosiologis tentang penerimaan dan penolakan anak dalam penyambutan dan kehadirannya. Refleksi teologis ini menjadi pendukung bagi gereja-gereja, dan lembaga kristen untuk memberikan dukungan terhadap pelayanan kepada anak yang sejalan dengan program pemerintah mewujudkan kota layak anak (RPTRA), dan menggunakan RPTRA sebagai ruang sosial dan ruang pelayanan yang memberikan perhatian pada pemenuhan hak anak. Refleksi teologis ini juga menjawab dukungan pembangunan RPTRA dan pemanfaatan RPTRA sebagai ruang sosial dan ruang pelayanan untuk menghadirkan penerimaan Allah dan penyambutan Yesus Kristus kepada anak-anak untuk diterima, dihargai dan dicintai dan terbebas dari segala bentuk kekerasan, pengabaian, pelecehan dan eksploitasi. Pelayanan kepada anak yang lintas iman dan lintas generasi menghadirkan gambaran Allah di dalam Alkitab, memberikan dukungan terhadap penerimaan kepada anak untuk menjembatani konflik dan memulihkan sekat-sekat masyarakat urban akibat politisasi agama, gap lintas generasi. Refleksi ini memberikan pendasaran teologis yang mengasuh spiritualitas anak dalam gambaran Allah dan penerimaan Yesus Kristus yang inklusif  melalui berbagai jenis dan bentuk pelayanan gereja dengan memaksimalkan RPTRA.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of a mobile phone usage prohibition policy on the learning focus of female students at Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Huda Kuliyyatul Mu’allimat Al Ulya (KMA) Kalijambe Sragen. The research question posed is: How does the mobile phone prohibition policy affect the learning focus of female students in the pesantren environment? This study employed a quantitative descriptive approach using a survey technique. The population consisted of 40 female students selected through total sampling. The data collection instrument was a closed-ended Likert scale questionnaire comprising 21 items divided into two variables: the mobile phone prohibition policy and learning focus. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical percentage analysis.The findings indicate that the majority of students are aware of, understand, and agree with the mobile phone prohibition policy implemented by the pesantren. Additionally, students reported an increase in their learning focus, characterized by improved concentration, a more conducive learning environment, and reduced digital distractions. These results reinforce the theory of Islamic learning environment management and Islamic character education, confirming that controlling technology use in Islamic boarding schools effectively enhances students’ academic focus.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of spiritual leadership on employee performance through employee well-being among employees of the Semarang City Education Office. Spiritual leadership, which emphasizes vision, altruistic love, and hope/faith, is considered an important factor in enhancing employees’ psychological well-being and organizational outcomes. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. A Likert scale questionnaire (1–5) was distributed to the entire population of 110 employees. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) with SmartPLS 3.0, including validity and reliability testing, as well as outer model, inner model, and hypothesis testing. The findings reveal that spiritual leadership has a significant positive effect on employee well-being, employee well-being significantly improves employee performance, and spiritual leadership also directly affects employee performance. Furthermore, employee well-being mediates the relationship between spiritual leadership and employee performance. The results confirm the essential role of spiritual leadership in fostering employee well-being, which subsequently enhances employee performance. The practical implication highlights the importance of strengthening spiritual leadership practices and improving employee well-being programs within government institutions.

Abstract

Introduction: This study aims to determine the changes in the wound of circumcised patients in the control group and the case group.The method in this study was to provide nutritious egg food to the control group and not to give egg nutritious food to the case group. This research was conducted at the Army Health Service Clinic (DKT 05.09.10) Nganjuk, involving 18 respondents. Based on this research, it can be seen that of the 9 respondents in the treatment group all experienced rapid wound healing, while 9 respondents in the case group all experienced slow wound changes. From the results of the Wilcoxon sign rank test statistic, it shows that value is 0.000 (0.05), so Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Coclusion Eggs are one of the food sources of animal protein that contain protein, fat, vitamins and minerals, so that eggs have good benefits in wound healing.

Abstract

Fungsi utama wisma dosen Universitas Nurul Jadid yaitu sebagai tempat menginap dosen yang dari luar kota yang sedang melakukan aktifitas mengajar. Disamping itu wisma dosen Universitas Nurul Jadid juga digunakan sebagai ruang menginap tamu yang berkepentingan dengan Universitas seperti seminar dan tamu penting lainya. Keterbatasan ruangan pada wisma dosen mengakibatkan sering terjadi benturan jadwal menginap antara dosen fakultas satu dengan fakultas lainya. Hal tersebut diperparah dengan belum adanya pembukuan yang bagus dari pihak pengelola wisma dosen Universitas, sehingga pengelola wisma dosen kesulitan dalam melaporkan pemakaian wisma dosen Universitas Nurul Jadid. Melihat dari persoalan tersebut peneliti membuat Aplikasi Pengelolaan Peminjaman Ruang Berbasis Android, dengan adanya aplikasi dosen dapat melihat dan memesan ruang dosen tanpa harus dating langsung ke wisma, disi lain pihak pengelola dapat dengan mudah melaporkan pemakaian ruang wisma dosen dengan mudah dan cepat. Berdasarkan hasil uji dengan menggunakan metode black box aplikasi pengelolaan ruang wisma dosen berbasis android ini layak digunakan dengan tingkat kecocokan pengguna sebesar 88%.

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan luaran dari hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk kegiatan sosial berupa pengecekan mata gratis dan pengarahan kepada masyarakat Desa Sobontoro Tulungagung dan sekitarnya. Kegiatan ini dilakukan menjelang tahun ajaran baru sekolah pada bulan April sampai dengan Juni 2023. Pengecekan mata yang optimal sebagai upaya untuk mendeteksi secara dini dan pencegahan gejala katarak serta kelainan mata lainnya. Selama proses pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan, masyarakat cukup antusias berpartisipasi dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan sosial dan pengarahan berupa pengecekan mata secara gratis di wilayah desa Sobontoro Tulungagung dan sekitarnya yang dilakukan oleh tim pelaksana pengabdian dari awal sampai berakhirnya kegiatan. Pada dasarnya masyarakat menyadari akan pentingnya menjaga kepedulian sosial guna melestarikan dan meningkatkan kualitas kesejahteraan sosial. Namun dalam meningkatkan pemahaman tersebut, dibutuhkan motivasi dari masyarakat dan para pemangku kepentingan. Kegiatan pengabdian seperti ini dapat dilakukan secara rutin baik di lokasi yang sama maupun yang berbeda dengan sasaran masyarakat yang benar-benar membutuhkan.
