Abstract

Saraswati Coconut Product (PT.SCP) ini merupakan salah satu perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi briket arang (charcoal). Kegiatan produksi briket arang berada di Briquettes Department Production. Produksi briket dilakukan secara Continue Process, digunakannya Continue Process karena proses produksi dilakukan tanpa henti (24 jam) dan sistem produksi yang diterapkan Briquettes Department di PT. SCP adalah Make To Order. Produksi briket tidak terlepas dari masalah yang berkaitan dengan tidak seimbangnya aliran produksi. Pada aliran produksi briket PT. Saraswati Coconut Product terdapat antrian material yang menghambat aliran produksi hingga terjadi bottleneck. Akibatnya proses produksi briket arang menjadi lebih lama dari waktu normal produksi. Untuk mengetahui penyebab permasalahan bottleneck  secara detail, maka perlu dilakukannya identifikasi penyebab masalah dari sistem produksi briket dengan menggunakan metode diagram  fishbone (tulang ikan). Diagram fishbone (Diagram Tulang Ikan) adalah diagram sebab akibat yang dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi masalah kinerja. Diagram tulang ikan menyediakan struktur untuk diskusi kelompok sekitar potensi penyebab masalah tersebut.  Tujuan dari analisa ini mengetahui penyebab bottleneck dan tindakan perbaikannya. Hasil observasi lapangan dapat diketahui bahwa penumpukkan material (bottleneck) terjadi pada jalur aliran bahan stasiun pretel dan stasiun drying. Penumpukkan material terjadi karena hasil cetakan briket dari stasiun pretel harus menunggu terlebih dahulu sebelum melalui proses pengeringan pada oven. Adapun rata-rata waktu proses oven untuk mengeringkan briket dari tujuh (7) oven yang ada di stasiun drying adalah 66 jam. Waktu proses ini melebihi dari waktu proses stasiun kerja lain yang hanya membutuhkan waktu proses kurang dari 24 jam.Kata Kunci : aliran produksi, bottleneck, diagram fishbone,

Abstract

The objective of this study is to evaluate the financial performance of the Jayapura City Education and Culture Office through the utilization of the Value for Money approach, which has three primary components: economy, efficiency, and effectiveness. This study is a descriptive research conducted to examine the financial performance of programs and activities within the Jayapura City Education and Culture Office. The study specifically focuses on analyzing the budget targets and actual outcomes as reported in the Jayapura City Education and Culture Office's Government Agency Performance Accountability Report (LAKIP) for the periods of 2019 and 2020. The employed methodology for data analysis is quantitative descriptive analysis, which aims to assess several dimensions of economy, efficiency, and effectiveness. The present analysis is based on research findings about the performance of the Jayapura City Education and Culture Office in three specific programs. These programs include the Nine-Year Compulsory Education Program, the Improvement Program for the Development of Performance and Financial Reporting Systems, and the Procurement, Improvement, and Repair of Educational Facilities and Infrastructure Program. The findings of this study offer a comprehensive analysis of the financial performance of the Jayapura City Education and Culture Office, thereby serving as a valuable point of reference for enhancing and advancing future projects.

Abstract

By putting the correct marketing plan into practice, a firm can increase consumer trust in its brand and increase that brand's loyalty. In Medan, the use of Instagram for boba drink product marketing has the potential to capture a significant portion of the market, so beverage businesses will find it easier to establish a positive brand image with careful use and promotion. The purpose of this study is to identify and characterize Bobabox's use of Instagram social media for brand image building in marketing communications. This study, which was carried out at the production head office, Bobabox Jl. Setia Budi No. 157 in Medan City, employs descriptive qualitative research methodologies. It will be put into practice in April and May of 2024. The results of this study show that @bobabox.id uses five elements of marketing communication in building brand image including, advertising by using the Instagram ads feature, sales promotion by creating promotional content and collaboration, public relations providing the best service, direct marketing presenting linktree to facilitate consumers and personal selling through endorsements

Abstract

The dedication to this activity was prompted by the lack of awareness about the potential use of coconut shells as gas fuel, like LPG, in Tebing Gerinting Selatan Village, as well as in Ogan Ilir Villages in general. The main aim of this activity is to educate the community in Tebing Gerinting Selatan on the technology of converting coconut shells into gas fuel using gasification technology. The educational process includes presentations, demonstrations, and discussions. During the demonstration phase, participants were shown how to operate coconut shell gasification equipment to produce gas fuel. The results of this activity were very encouraging as many participants showed a keen interest in the process and equipment used during the discussion phase. Based on the success of this activity, it can be concluded that there is a high level of public interest in coconut shell gasification technology, and there is a strong desire to apply this equipment to the kerupuk kemplang grilling process in the village.

Abstract

Domestic tourist objects which are considered to have attractive potential are visited by many Muslim tourists both from within and outside the country, but in reality these tourist objects pay little attention to the comfort of Muslim tourists. Visiting Lake Toba tourist destinations for Muslim tourists is not only about natural beauty, but also about halal food and comfortable places of worship. Halal tourism continues to be an interesting issue to discuss because it is a vital issue for the life of Muslims. It is very risky for Muslims when a tourist destination does not provide comfort regarding the issue of halal food and the availability of places of worship. This paper reviews the concept of religious moderation tourism which can be interpreted as the availability and fulfillment of the needs of Muslims and tourist destinations such as halal food that is not mixed with unclean food, proper places of worship, and various other facilities that are the needs of Muslims. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. Data were obtained by conducting interviews with tourism managers, community leaders, the Head of the Culture and Tourism Office, tourism observers and the community. The concept of moderating religious tourism in the Lake Toba area is already underway, such as hotels serving halal food cooked by Muslim workers, providing prayer rooms. However, what has not been seen is the certainty of food halalness with the existence of a halal certificate issued by the competent authority. The facts obtained in the Lake Toba area did not play much of a role in changing the attitudes and behavior of local residents to become more moderate towards foreign Muslim tourists.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the financial performance of PT. Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk based on the analysis method of liquidity ratio, profitability ratio and solvency ratio for the period 2019-2022. The data collection technique used is documentation, with documents in the form of company financial statements in 2019-2022. Data analysis techniques use case study techniques to obtain data as material in the preparation of research. As for analyzing the development of financial performance, this study uses descriptive analysis techniques where the data obtained in the field is processed in such a way as to provide systematic, factual, and accurate data on the problems to be studied. The results showed that the company's financial performance assessment based on the analysis of liquidity ratios, solvency ratios and profitability ratios for the period 2019-2022, with details, namely (a) financial performance based on liquidity ratios has fluctuated in the last 4 years (2019-2022) this is due to the increasing number of current assets and current debt from year to year. (b) Financial performance based on Profitability Ratio has decreased in the last year (2019-2022). This is due to the increasing amount of profit after tax. (c) Financial performance based on Solvency Ratio has decreased in the last year (2019-2022) this is due to the increase in total assets.

Abstract

Female employees are often the reference and center of the company in maintaining the companys image. Female employees, especially in the industrial sector such as BSC Cafe Lubuk Pakam, often experience communication barriers and lack of self-efficacy. This study aims to determine three things, namely (1) Analysis of the Level of Self Efficacy of Female Employees (2) Integration of Interpersonal Communication to Self Efficacy (3) The Role of Female Employees in Fostering Self Efficacy. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods case studies with purposive sampling techniques and in-depth interviews. The results of this study indicate that the level of self-efficacy of female employees increases with good communication skills. And female employees themselves have a central role in growing their individual self-efficacy.

Abstract

Seaweed cultivation activities in Jeneponto Regency have been practised for a long time and have become the main livelihood for most of the Mallasoro Bay community. In cultivating seaweed, obstacles often arise in the form of failures experienced by seaweed farmers or poor-quality yields. This study was aimed to develop alternative planting calendars for Eucheuma sp. in Mallasoro Bay, Jeneponto Regency based on sea surface temperature and distribution of chlorophyll-a obtained from Landsat-8 imagery. Image Processing Sea Surface Temperature and Chlorophyll-a were processed using ENVI 4.8 AND 5.3 software, the satellite images used were clean and without cloud disturbance. In this study, data analysis was carried out descriptively. The water temperature that is good for seaweed growth is 27-30˚C, for Mallasoro Bay Sea Surface Temperature which is suitable for seaweed cultivation, namely April, May, June, July, August, September, October and November. While the classification is based on the criteria for chlorophyll-a trophic status in marine waters, namely the range < 1 mg/L is classified as Oligotrophic, ≥ 1–3 mg/L is classified as Mesotrophic, ≥ 3–5 mg/L is classified as Eutrophic, and > 5 mg/L is classified as Hypertrophic. , from the results of image analysis for the distribution of chlorophyll-a in Mallasoro Bay, it shows that Mallasoro Bay is at the Mesotrophic level throughout the year or the fertility level of the waters is quite fertile because it is in the range of ≥ 1–3 mg/L. so that a seaweed planting calendar can be obtained in Mallasoro Bay, namely in January, February and December, preparation of tools such as cleaning and repair of seaweed planting tools can be carried out, then at the end of March, the end of May, the end of July and the end of September, the procurement of seaweed seeds is carried out. , in early April, early June, early August, and early October, seaweed seeds can be spread, then in mid-May, mid-July, mid-September, and mid-November, harvesting can be carried out, so that seaweed cultivation can be carried out 4 times in one year. cycle.

Abstract

Terlepas dari kejadian-kejadian yang terjadi baru-baru ini di Indonesia, Kota Medan memiliki sedikit pemakai cadar. Cadar mendapat stigma karena kejadian-kejadian di Indonesia Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk terlepas dari kejadian-kejadian yang terjadi baru-baru ini di Indonesia, Kota Medan memiliki sedikit pemakai cadar. Cadar mendapat stigma karena kejadian-kejadian di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan TikTok untuk meneliti komunikasi, konsep diri, dan motivasi perempuan Muslim bercadar. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan teori Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa akun TikTok Komunitas Kota Medan @natta_wardah mengaitkan perempuan bercadar dengan kelompok Islam ekstremis. Gambar ini melabeli perempuan bercadar sebagai radikal. Media sosial mengubah perempuan bercadar. Identitas Muslim berdampak pada perkembangan perempuan bercadar. Lingkungan sosial membantu pandangan dunia dan pembentukan pengetahuan. Di TikTok @natta_wardah, perempuan bercadar secara terbuka membagikan kegiatan mereka. Wanita bercadar mengikuti ekstrakurikuler tanpa mengorbankan produktivitas. Selain itu, wanita bercadar dengan pakaian religius menggabungkan sifat-sifat mendasar. Wanita bercadar juga berdakwah, menghabiskan waktu bersama keluarga dan teman, menikmati hobi, dan menghasilkan uang melalui dukungan produk di Instagram. Media sosial mempromosikan wanita bercadar sebagai sesuatu yang dapat diterima oleh masyarakat umum, memberikan cadar sebuah identitas.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the types of waste in the cheese banana chips production process at Flamboyan UKM and find out how to minimize waste in the production process. This study uses the lean manufacturing method in evaluating the formulation to identify and reduce waste that occurs in Flamboyan UKM. The results of this study are two wastes, namely waiting time where waiting activities occur in the stacking of finished products in the draining process with a time of 247.13 seconds and in the cooling process with a time of 251.77, and waste defects where there are cracked chips, charred chips and packaging processes that are not good , causing the chips to not be crispy. The conclusion of this research is to minimize waste wasting time by adding a spinner machine in the draining process, as well as for the cooling process to minimize waste waiting time for the chips to be separated into several containers. Furthermore, for waste defects, conduct training for employees and carry out product checks or checks. Suggestions for Flamboyan SMEs need training for employees to be more effective in carrying out good work and making continuous improvements in order to get good product results
