Abstract

This research examines the preferences of the people of Karo district towards Radio Gundaling FM broadcasts in the digital era. Radio, which used to be the main source of information and entertainment, is now facing challenges from digital platforms. The results of this study found that Radio Gundaling FM still has loyal listeners, especially among 37-48 year olds who still enjoy local content such as cultural news, folk songs, and distinctive announcer interactions. However, the preferences of the younger generation aged 17-25 have shifted to digital platforms such as TikTok, Spotify, You Tube, Instagram. Radio Gundaling FM attempts to adapt by live streaming on the TikTok app and creating content for social media. This research highlights the importance of preserving local culture in radio broadcasts amidst the changing times in the digital era.

Abstract

Penguasaan software akuntansi kini menjadi kebutuhan penting bagi mahasiswa akuntansi untuk siap menghadapi dunia kerja yang semakin digital. Pengabdian ini fokus pada pendampingan dan pelatihan penggunaan software Si Apik bagi mahasiswa Akuntansi Universitas Yapis Papua. Tujuannya adalah meningkatkan keterampilan dan kepercayaan diri mahasiswa dalam mengoperasikan aplikasi secara praktis dan tepat waktu. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif dengan melibatkan mahasiswa secara aktif dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pelatihan. Hasilnya, keterampilan penggunaan software dan pemahaman laporan keuangan meningkat secara signifikan. Selain itu, pelatihan ini juga berhasil mengurangi rasa takut mahasiswa terhadap teknologi dan membentuk budaya belajar yang lebih terbuka dan adaptif. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam memperbaiki kualitas pendidikan akuntansi sekaligus mempersiapkan mahasiswa menghadapi tantangan profesi di era digital.

Abstract

Tujuan: Studi asosiatif ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi SDM, disiplin kerja dan lingkungan kerja secara simultan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Bappeda Kabupaten Pegunungan Bintang. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik sampling total, melibatkan 90 responden dari populasi 90 karyawan. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi berganda untuk menguji efek parsial dan simultan variabel independen terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hasil dan Pembahasan: Hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi SDM, disiplin kerja, dan lingkungan kerja secara parsial maupun simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Bappeda Kabupaten Pegunungan Bintang. Di antara ketiganya, kompetensi SDM merupakan faktor paling dominan dengan nilai beta tertinggi (0,383) dan signifikansi 0,000. Model penelitian ini mampu menjelaskan 69,3% variasi kinerja pegawai. Implikasi: Peningkatan kinerja pegawai dapat dicapai melalui penguatan kompetensi SDM, pembinaan disiplin kerja, serta penciptaan lingkungan kerja yang mendukung. Hasil ini mendorong pengambil kebijakan untuk lebih fokus pada pengembangan kapasitas pegawai secara menyeluruh dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research discusses the influence of Population Numbers, Economic Growth, and Income Inequality on Poverty rates in South Kalimantan Province in 2003-2020. This study aims to determine the impact of population, economic Growth, and income inequality on poverty levels in South Kalimantan from 2003-2020. This study used multiple linear regression analysis methods with specific time-lined data, and the data used operated with the E-Views 10 application. From the conclusion of the research that has been conducted, population effects negatively and significantly affect the poverty rate in South Kalimantan Province from 2003 to 2020. Economic Growth gives a negative and significant direction to the poverty rate in the Province of South Kalimantan in 20032020. At the same time, the Income Inequality variable had a positive but insignificant effect on the poverty level in the Province of South Kalimantan from 2003 to 2020.

Abstract

Terbitnya Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 25 Tahun 2024 tentang Penyelenggaraan Perizinan Usaha Pertambangan Mineral dan Batubara menimbulkan dinamika baru dalam tata kelola sektor pertambangan di Indonesia. Regulasi ini menuai perdebatan hukum dan administratif karena mengubah secara signifikan kewenangan dalam pemberian izin usaha pertambangan yang sebelumnya berada pada pemerintah daerah menjadi kewenangan penuh pemerintah pusat. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji potensi disharmonisasi hukum yang muncul akibat perubahan tersebut, khususnya terkait konflik norma dalam sistem perundang-undangan dan implikasinya terhadap asas otonomi daerah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode yuridis normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan, konseptual, dan komparatif, serta menelaah dokumen hukum relevan dan praktik regulasi di bidang pertambangan. Fokus kajian terletak pada dampak perubahan kewenangan terhadap kepastian hukum, efektivitas pengawasan lingkungan, dan partisipasi publik dalam pengelolaan sumber daya alam. Selain itu, artikel ini juga menyoroti peran organisasi kemasyarakatan keagamaan yang diberi ruang dalam pengelolaan tambang melalui skema baru perizinan. Temuan menunjukkan adanya ketidaksesuaian antara PP No. 25/2024 dengan prinsip-prinsip hukum administrasi dan hukum pertambangan nasional. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya harmonisasi regulasi yang mengedepankan integrasi kelembagaan, keadilan lingkungan, dan akuntabilitas dalam pengelolaan sumber daya alam.

Abstract

This study explores the role of interpersonal communication among senior members, administrators, and general members of the Islamic Student Association (HMI) at the Faculty of Social Sciences (FIS), State Islamic University of North Sumatra (UIN Sumatera Utara), in fostering soft skills among Communication Science students. Employing a qualitative research design with a phenomenological approach, the study investigates lived experiences and observable phenomena through methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed through a process of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing conducted concurrently with data collection. Findings indicate that interpersonal communication within the HMI FIS UIN Sumatera Utara Commission is both effective and progressive in developing soft skills. Evidence includes high participation rates among Communication Science students, consistently strong soft skill performance across members, and the successful implementation of work programs. The effective interpersonal dynamics between senior members and administrators positively influence the development of essential soft skills among members, such as collaboration, communication, creativity, honesty, responsibility, leadership, time management, problem-solving, interpersonal relations, affective and cognitive abilities, and psychomotor skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dominance of the Batak ethnic group in bachelor's degree graduation rates in Indonesia through a case study at the Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara (UINSU), using a cross-cultural communication perspective and social identity theory. This phenomenon raises questions about the communication and cultural factors that support the academic success of Batak students in a multicultural campus environment. The research methodology employs a qualitative-descriptive approach, utilizing literature review and secondary data analysis from the Central Statistics Agency, as well as an examination of intercultural communication based on the theories of Liliweri, Tajfel, and Habermas. The research findings indicate that Batak cultural values such as hagabeon, hamoraon, and hasangapon contribute to strengthening academic motivation, while assertive and open communication styles enable Batak students to excel in building academic relationships and adapting to campus culture. The study also identifies the potential for social exclusion of other ethnic groups if cross-cultural communication is not managed inclusively. These findings offer theoretical contributions regarding the relationship between cross-cultural communication and academic performance, and emphasize the importance of adaptive intercultural communication strategies in creating an equitable academic environment. The recommendations include strengthening cross-cultural communication training programs and facilitating ethnic integration in the campus environment as a form of social reconciliation in higher education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of intrinsic motivation on performance, the relationship between intrinsic motivation and work behavior, the impact of work behavior on performance, and the relationship between intrinsic motivation and performance through work behavior. The population in this study was all Civil Servants at the Papua Provincial Health Office. The research sample was 146 employees. The sampling technique employed in this study utilized a probability sample with a cluster sampling method. The analysis technique used was the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the assistance of the Moment of Structure Analysis (AMOS) version 26 program. The results of the study indicate that intrinsic motivation has a positive and significant influence on employee performance, intrinsic motivation has a positive and significant impact on employee work behavior, work behavior has a positive and important influence on employee performance and intrinsic motivation has a positive and significant influence on employee performance through employee work behavior.

Abstract

The supply chain sector is one of the most determining the company's ability to maintain its business operations. PT. Sentra Mulia Sejahtera has never conducted performance measurements on its supply chain flow, so it is not yet known how efficient its supply chain performance is. The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of efficiency of supply chain performance and propose improvement strategies for the inefficient supply chain performance of PT. Sentra Mulia Sejahtera using the Data Envelopment Analysis method. The results showed that at the supplier level there was 1 DMU that was already efficient, 2 DMUs were marginally efficient and 2 other DMUs were still inefficient. Meanwhile, at the company level, there are 4 DMUs in an inefficient condition, DMU 3 is the DMU with the lowest efficiency value of 38.5%. The improvement strategy for inefficient suppliers is to reduce the value of the input variables. The improvement solution for the company based on the results of the potential improvement calculation must reduce the cash to cash cycle time and lead time for order fulfillment by reducing the length of the payment agreement from the distributor.

Abstract

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh ukuran perusahaan dan profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan, dengan struktur modal sebagai variabel mediasi. Fokus penelitian ini ditujukan pada perusahaan subsektor telekomunikasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode 2019–2023. Metode Penelitian: Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dengan metode Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) yang dianalisis melalui perangkat lunak SmartPLS. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan memilih perusahaan yang memenuhi kriteria tertentu untuk memastikan konsistensi dan ketersediaan data selama periode observasi. Hasil dan Pembahasan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Sebaliknya, ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Struktur modal terbukti memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan dan berperan sebagai variabel mediasi dalam hubungan antara ukuran perusahaan serta profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan. Temuan ini mendukung relevansi teori trade-off, signaling, dan pecking order dalam menjelaskan dinamika kebijakan pembiayaan dan nilai perusahaan. Implikasi: Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam literatur keuangan dengan menunjukkan pentingnya pengelolaan profitabilitas dan struktur modal dalam meningkatkan nilai perusahaan, terutama dalam industri padat modal seperti telekomunikasi.
