Abstract

This study aims to analyze the fund-raising strategies implemented through Shariabased savings products by BMT UGT Nusantara Yosowilangun. The research focuses on various types of Islamic savings products, such as savings and general deposits using Sharia contracts, as well as the strategies adopted by the BMT to mobilize community funds and assess their effectiveness in increasing both the number of members and the total amount of deposits. The study employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through interviews, field observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that BMT has implemented several fund-raising strategies, including promotional activities, a door-to-door service system, transaction digitalization, the application of mudharabah and wadiah contracts, and strengthening synergy within the Islamic financial ecosystem. These strategies have proven to be quite effective in increasing membership and savings volume. However, several challenges remain, such as low levels of Islamic financial literacy among the community and competition from conventional financial institutions. Based on these findings, the study recommends enhancing Sharia financial education, developing more innovative and adaptive savings products, and improving digital service quality to achieve more optimal fund mobilization.

Abstract

This article employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with a conceptual explanatory orientation to synthesize and interpret findings from recent empirical and conceptual studies indexed in Scopus (Q1–Q4) and SINTA (S1–S4). Using thematic synthesis, the review analyzes patterns of supervisory practices, processes of pedagogical change, and contextual conditions that shape the effectiveness of academic supervision. The findings indicate that academic supervision functions effectively not as a procedural managerial activity, but as a relational and reflective pedagogical mechanism. Professional transformation occurs when supervisory feedback is internalized through reflective engagement, supported by trust based leadership relationships and aligned with institutional values. Conversely, supervision tends to produce administrative compliance rather than pedagogical change when implemented in a technocratic manner, irrespective of teachers’ professional meaning making processes. The review also reveals a recurring paradox in which systematic supervision and adequate teacher qualifications do not necessarily lead to sustainable professional growth. This article contributes to the supervision literature by shifting the analytical focus from outcomes to mechanisms, offering a conceptual explanation of both the effectiveness and failure of supervision within Islamic educational contexts. These findings extend existing theories of academic supervision by highlighting the mediating role of institutional values and relational dynamics in shaping teacher professionalism. Keywords: Academic Supervision; Teacher Professionalism; Islamic Educational Institutions.

Abstract

The focus of this research is to basically describe and discover the concept of Islamic boarding school management based on the development of facilities and infrastructure in the management of thejauharul Falah Al-Islami Islamic boarding school in Sungai Terap Kumpeh Ulu Muaro Jambi. A significant problem is that no guidelines have been created to regulate the implementation of programs related to Islamic boarding school facilities and infrastructure. The descriptive-analytical approach in this research took three phases, namely: explanation of theory, description of facts in the field, analysis of the suitability between theory and practice. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model and data validity techniques use data triangulation. The research found that the development of facilities and infrastructure in the management of the Jauharul Falah Al-Islami Islamic Boarding School in Sungai Terap Kumpeh Ulu Muaro Jambi, starting from planning as the initial foundation and as an important point in determining the success or failure of a program, organization, implementation and supervision as a support for planning has not optimally followed modern management principles. This can be seen from the fact that there are no planning documents that are factually easy to access. The results of this research are the impact of the development of facilities and infrastructure on the quality of Islamic boarding school management, improvements and additions to facilities increase learning comfort, learning effectiveness, administrative efficiency, as well as the positive image of Islamic boarding schools in the eyes of the community, which has an impact on increasing the number of new student registrants.

Abstract

This study is motivated by ongoing quality issues in Islamic education, particularly the limited effectiveness of supervision as an integral component of the educational management system. In practice, supervision is often reduced to a mere administrative activity, which undermines its potential role in improving educational quality. This article aims to conceptually examine Islamic education supervision within the framework of educational quality management by addressing the following key questions: (1) how is supervision conceptually positioned within Islamic education quality management, and (2) what strategic roles does supervision play in strengthening educational quality governance? Using a qualitative approach through a literature review and conceptual analysis of relevant scholarly sources, this study finds that Islamic education supervision holds a strategic function as a mechanism of control, evaluation, and quality assurance within the management system. Beyond monitoring, supervision serves as a managerial instrument that supports the sustainable enhancement of governance and quality improvement in Islamic educational institutions. This article contributes theoretically to the discourse on Islamic education supervision and offers managerial insights for strengthening quality management practices.

Abstract

Asymmetric autonomy is a phenomenon that gives rise to unique dynamics in the context of granting authority to autonomous regions. From a human rights perspective, this phenomenon raises deep questions about the balance between regional autonomy and the protection of individual rights. This research aims to explore the impact and implications of asymmetric autonomy on human rights. This research uses a document analysis approach and literature study to detail the mechanism of asymmetric autonomy and its impact on human rights. The results show that the implementation of asymmetric autonomy can provide significant benefits for local development, but also poses potential risks to individual rights. There is a tension between the regional autonomy granted and the need to protect basic rights. Furthermore, this research highlights the need for a clear regulatory framework and effective oversight mechanisms to maintain this balance. The discussion also includes efforts that can be taken by the government and stakeholders to mitigate the risk of human rights violations in the context of asymmetric autonomy. This research contributes to our understanding of the complexity of the relationship between asymmetric autonomy and human rights. The policy implications resulting from this research can help governments and policy makers in designing regulatory frameworks that support regional development without compromising individual rights. Keywords: Asymmetric Autonomy; Human Rights; Impact; Balance; Regulation

Abstract

Fever is a condition where body temperature increases. If not treated quickly and appropriately, it will cause complications such as hyperthermia, seizures, and decreased consciousness. One way to lower body temperature in children with fever is non-pharmacological measures by providing grated shallot compresses and warm water compresses. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of grated shallot compresses and warm water compresses on reducing body temperature in children. The design of this study was Quasi Experiment with a Pre-testPost-test approach. The sampling method was carried out by Purposive Sampling with a sample size of 60 children. The sample was divided into 2 groups. 30 people in the grated shallot compress group, and 30 people in the warm water compress group. The data collection technique used a questionnaire sheet and a body temperature observation sheet. The analysis used was the Paired T-Test with a significance limit = <0.05. The results of this study indicate that grated shallot compresses can lower body temperature (P <0.000). Meanwhile, warm water compresses are also able to lower body temperature (P < 0.000). The Independent T-Test showed that there was a significant difference in effectiveness between red shallot compresses and warm water compresses where the decrease in temperature in grated shallot compresses (1.00) was greater than warm water compresses (0.44). The results of this study found that grated shallot compresses were more effective in lowering body temperature than warm air compresses.

Abstract

Urine sediment examination is an essential component of urinalysis used to detect various renal and urinary tract disorders. However, sediment elements in urine are prone to rapid degradation, requiring a preservation method that maintains both their quantity and morphology. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of urine storage with 40% formalin at 2–8°C for 3, 6, and 9 days on the mean count and morphology of erythrocytes, leukocytes, squamous epithelial cells, and transitional epithelial cells. A quasi-experimental design with a pretest–posttest control-group approach was used with six urine samples selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed descriptively, followed by repeated measures ANOVA and pairwise comparison tests. The results showed that erythrocytes (p=0.185) and transitional epithelial cells (p=0.775) did not exhibit significant differences across storage durations. Squamous epithelial cells showed significant differences in the ANOVA test (p=0.010), but the pairwise comparison did not yield consistent results. Leukocytes demonstrated significant differences in the ANOVA test (p=0.000), with a notable decrease observed on days 6 and 9 (p<0.05). Despite this, the morphology of all sediment elements remained well-preserved (score 2), with clearly distinguishable cell structures observable up to day 9. These findings suggest that urine preservation using 40% formalin at 2–8°C can maintain the count of erythrocytes, squamous epithelial cells, and transitional epithelial cells, while preserving the morphology of all four sediment elements for up to nine days. This has important implications for research requiring medium-term sample storage. The developed protocol can serve as a reference for standardizing urine preservation procedures.
