Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using the outdoor study method on social studies learning outcomes regarding norms and customs in my area, class IV at SD Negeri 158501 Sibuluan. The method used is quantitative experimental research using a one group pretest and posttest design. The subjects in this research were 20 students in class IV B of SD Negeri 158501 Sibuluan. The data collection technique uses a test in the form of 10-item multiple choice questions, 5 questions and 5 questions essay. Manual data analysis techniques include Normality Test, Homogeneity Test, Hypothesis Test . From the results of observations made on the homeroom teacher in class IV B of SD Negeri 158501 Sibuluan through indicators by submitting 23 statement items, an average score of 89.16 was obtained. If the assessment criteria were consulted, the score was in the "Very Good" category. Regarding student learning outcomes after using the outdoor study method, an average score of 75 was given as "good". To see the effect of the outdoor study method on learning outcomes, it can be seen from the calculations carried out to obtain tcount = 5.91. When compared with ttable at a 95% confidence level or 5% error rate with degrees of freedom (dk) = N – 1 = 20 – 1 = 19, ttable is 2,093. If the value of tcount = 5.91 is compared with ttable= 2.093 then it can be seen that tcount is greater than ttable, namely 5.91>2.093. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of outdoor study methods on the learning outcomes of students in science and science subjects in class IV of SD Negeri 158501 Sibuluan.

Abstract

Abstract: Low Mathematical Problem Solving Ability (MPSA) is a major problem in research. One learning model that supports increasing MPSA in learning is the Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) learning model. The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of the CMP learning model on students' MPSA. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a one group pretest posttest design. The research population was class VIII students' at MTsN 1 Padangsidimpuan consisting of 11 study groups. The research sample was students' from class VIII-11 with a total of 33 students'. The research instrument was the CMP learning management observation sheet and students' MPSA test. Analysis of data from observations was carried out descriptively and analysis of student MPSA data was carried out using inferential statistical tests using the paired t-test. The research results show that CMP learning management obtained an average score of 3.52 (good). Furthermore, analysis of the students' MPSA data shows a significance value of 0.00 which is smaller than the alpha level of 0.05 (there is a significant difference between the average pre-test and post-test scores). Furthermore, an n-gain value of 0.44 (Medium) was obtained. Thus it is concluded that the implementation of CMP learning on students' MPSA is effective. Keywords: implementation, CMP, problem solving, mathematics. Abstrak: Rendahnya Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika (MPSA) merupakan masalah utama dalam penelitian. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang mendukung peningkatan MPSA dalam pembelajaran adalah model pembelajaran Connected Mathematics Project (CMP). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi model pembelajaran CMP terhadap MPSA siswa. Jenis penelitian adalah quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan one group pretest posttest design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII MTsN 1 Padangsidimpuan yang terdiri dari 11 Rombongan belajar. Sampel Penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII-11 dengan jumlah siswa 33 orang. Instrumen penelitian adalah lembar observasi pengelolaan pembelajaran CMP dan Tes MPSA siswa. Analisis data hasil observasi dilakukan dengan deskriptif dan analisis data MPSA siswa dilakukan dengan uji statistik inferensial uji paired t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengelolaan pembelajaran CMP memperoleh nilai rata rata 3,52 (baik). Selanjutnya analisi data MPSA siswa menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,00 lebih kecil dari taraf alpha 0,05 (terdapat perbedaan signifikan dari nilai rata rata pretes dan postes). Selanjutnya diperoleh nilai n-gain 0,44 (Sedang). Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Turnover (X₁), Task Commitment (X₂), and Cooperation (X₃) on Employee Performance (Y) at PT. Alam Gemilang Energi. The company operates in the energy distribution sector and plays a strategic role in providing fuel in Pangkalpinang City. Employee performance is a critical factor in supporting the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's operations. This research uses a survey method with a quantitative approach. The research population includes all 47 employees of the company, with the sampling technique using a census. Data was collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale and analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques, validity tests, reliability tests, simple linear regression, and multiple linear regression. The results show that Turnover (X₁) has a significant influence on Employee Performance with a t-value of 2.478 > t-table 1.67412 (p < 0.05), but only explains 8.1% of the variance in Employee Performance. Task Commitment (X₂) has a significant influence with a t-value of 5.794 > t-table 1.67412 (p < 0.05), explaining 32.4% of the variance in Employee Performance. Cooperation (X₃) has a significant influence with a t-value of 9.973 > t-table 1.67412 (p < 0.05), explaining 58.7% of the variance in Employee Performance. Collectively, the three independent variables explain 71.9% of the variance in Employee Performance (F-value = 58.027 > F-table = 2.79; p < 0.05). The conclusion of this study is that Turnover, Task Commitment, and Cooperation significantly influence Employee Performance at PT. Alam Gemilang Energi. Cooperation has the strongest influence, followed by Task Commitment and Turnover. Recommendations include better Turnover management, enhancing Task Commitment through rewards and training, and strengthening a collaborative work culture to improve Cooperation.

Abstract

Risk Management is all actions to minimize anything that is not desired. So, things are done to prevent these negative impacts. In relation to this, in adolescent education it is very important to include character values ​​in educational goals. One of them is about Adolescent Socialization. In this case, the PKM TEAM held a community service at SMP and SMK Ibnu Sina Kabil, Batam with the theme: Risk Management Education for Adolescents: Recognizing and Avoiding the Dangers of Free Association. This activity aims to teach students how to understand Education in recognizing and avoiding risks that may arise as a result of the dangers of free association. The problems that are currently rampant among adolescents related to Free Association require handling and the PKM TEAM contributes to providing Risk Management Education in this regard. The participants were around 200 students at SMP and SMK Ibnu Sina Kabil, Batam. Which was held for two days, namely November 20-21, 2024.

Abstract

Mendale Village is one of the villages in Takengon, Central Aceh, located on the shores of Lake Laut Tawar. So far, Mendale Village has not had a product that can be used as a typical souvenir from Mendale Village and can increase community income. In fact, Mendale Village has a lot of natural resources. The existence of resources in the form of yeloow pumpkin can be processed into dodol. Therefore, the purpose of this Community Service program is to increase the knowledge and skills o the Mendale Village community to process tallow pumpkin into yellow pumpkin dodol which can be used as a typical culinary souvenir. The commnutiy service method used is through counceling and demonstration. The partners who attended came from mothers from the general public and the Family Welfare Empowerment Movement Team, totaling 20 people. The results of the Pre Test and Post Test that communit knowledge and skills had increased. Especially regarding the use of yellow pumpkin in food and beverage products, including dodol products and the existence of these products, including dodol products and the exixtence of theses products will provide added value to yellow pumpkin. The results of the implementation evaluation showed that almost all partners stated ‘Strongly Agree’ to several statements. The statements are, regarding the event schedule, the training material is appropriate, the theme is interesting, the program is very usefull and partners will follow the same program if it is held again in the future, each statement gets a percentage of 100% or all partners, 20 people stated ‘Strongly Agree’.

Abstract

This study investigates the efficacy of comics as a strategic communication tool for health promotion, utilizing a qualitative analysis of literature and examples from the “Sehat Negeriku” website managed by the Indonesian Ministry of Health. The multifaceted nature of comics, incorporating visual storytelling and character-driven narratives, offers a unique method for conveying complex health messages in an accessible and engaging manner. This research identifies several key advantages of comics in health communication, including increased appeal and interest among diverse demographics, enhanced memory retention through visual cues, emotional engagement that deepens message impact, stimulated creativity and imagination, and the ability to reach a broad audience. Data collection involved a thorough review of existing literature and content analysis of health communication comics, focusing on their structure, content, and reception. The findings highlight how comics, by blending entertainment with educational content, can effectively reduce resistance to health messages, facilitate behavioral change, and contribute to public health knowledge. Furthermore, the study underscores the importance of considering cultural relevance and audience-specific characteristics in comic design to maximize their educational impact. This paper contributes to the understanding of visual communication in public health and supports the integration of comics into broader health promotion strategies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the procedure for disbursing village fund allocations and how to receive village fund allocation (ADD) in the 2018 fiscal year at Nagari Tabek Panjang, Baso District. This research is located in Nagari Tabek Panjang, Baso District, Agam Regency, West Sumatra Province. The type of data used is qualitative data. Data collection was carried out by means of interviews and documentation by determining the parties who became the resource persons. The results showed that the Village Fund Allocation (ADD) disbursement procedure was carried out in stages namely stages I, II, III. For disbursement in the first phase after the Nagari Regulation on ABPNag 2018 was approved by the Agam Regency Nagari Community Empowerment Agency (DPMN) verification team, and for the second stage disbursement must report accountability to the Agam Regency DPMN. Abstract

This study aims to determine the financing procedures used by KJKS BMT Agam Madani Nagari Batu Palano. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and library research using qualitative descriptive methods. The results of this study indicate that the procedure of financing provided by KJKS BMT Agam Madani Nagari Batu Palano Agam Regency can run optimally and in accordance with planned objectives, especially to encourage the efficiency of financing. The efforts that have been carried out by Agam Madani Nagari Batu Palano KJKS BMT Agam Regency to keep the financing provided smooth, productive and non-performing is to comply with every management policy in providing financing.

Abstract

The object of this study is IKM Selatan Pesisir Regency, to examine the effect of Knowledge, Skill and Ability of Leaders on Performance in IKM South Pesisir Regency. The purpose of this study is to determine how the model can provide a more precise description of the causality relationship between Knowledge, Skill, Leadership Ability and Performance. The population in this study is the total number of employees in the South Coastal District IKM with a total of 1,656 employees. With a sample of 100 people taken from a number of business units engaged in manufacturing such as the production of handicrafts, food, bags, shoes, crackers, garments and so on at IKM South Coastal District. Analysis of the research data used is the structural equation model with the SPSS application program to test 4 (two) hypotheses that have been developed, the hypothesized relationship is a causal relationship. And the results of the hypothesis show that 4 (two) proposed hypotheses are accepted. The significance value of the Knowledge variable (X1) is 0.031, the significance value of the Skill variable (X2) is 0.028 and the significance value of the Ability variable (X3) is 0.046, it is evident that if the significance value (sig) or probAbility value (probAbility) smaller than the significant level used (= 0.05), it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the variables Knowledge (X1), Skill (X2) and Ability (X3) on Performance in IKM South Coastal District.

Abstract

With various kinds of progress in recent years, the City of Bukittinggi Government is still faced with various problems/problems, one of which is the problem of waste management and sanctions against people who dispose of littering places. This study examines the impact of littering on environmental sustainability and imposing sanctions on people who dispose of garbage carelessly "studies in the City of Bukittinggi" How not, now the waste problem is still a conversation between the community and the city government, even though Payakumbuh is a city in the region West Sumatra, but the amount of waste produced is very large, so that waste is a fairly heavy problem in this city. One of the solutions provided by the government regarding waste management is by building a Regional Final Disposal Site (TPA) and giving sanctions to people who dispose of litter.
