Abstract

Many disease information problems are caused by a lack of knowledge and public misunderstanding of health information. Health communication includes disseminating health information to the public to achieve healthy living behaviours, creating awareness, changing attitudes and providing motivation for individuals to adopt recommended healthy behaviours to be the main objectives of health communication. This study aims to analyze the use of visual narratives in health promotion during a pandemic that focuses on non-technical aspects. In addition, knowing the health promotion strategy includes visuals, communication, and media. The research method used is qualitative. This research tries to understand phenomena in their natural setting and context, namely that researchers do not try to manipulate the observed phenomena. The data collection method in this study is observation and literature study. In this research procedure, the first stage is planning, the second stage is field data study and data analysis, and the third stage is drawing conclusions. The results showed that the Ministry of Health, through the Directorate of Health Promotion and Community Empowerment, has prepared integrated promotional facilities, including publication, print, and audiovisual media. This promotional tool is a website that can be accessed to view and download promotional media. Visual narratives are selected very comprehensively based on field data obtained from regions in Indonesia. The ignorance of health promotion workers causes the error in the use of narratives in the health promotion media in making promotional means for information of a local nature. Due to the lack of knowledge of the health promotion team in the region in choosing the right narrative for the promotional media used.

Abstract

Employee development greatly affects the development of the organization. Professionally developed employees can bring various benefits to the organization. This study aims to analyze the influence of human resource development and leadership on employee performance with organizational commitment as a moderation variable in Batamindo Industrial Park companies. Human resource development aims to increase employee knowledge in terms of knowledge and practice skills through education, training, non-training and learning tasks. Furthermore, employee performance is the quality of work results, quantity of work, attendance and teamwork ability. This study uses a qualitative approach with a correlational associative research method by distributing questionnaires to employees June-July 2023 using a google form. The research sample was taken by purposive sampling involving 100 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using multiple regression analysis and data was processed using Smart PLS 3. The results of this study show that leadership variables and organizational commitment have a significant effect on employee performance. Human resource development does not have a significant effect on employee performance, this is due to HR development that is not implemented properly or without a mature plan so that it does not have a significant impact. Poor execution and lack of support from management. Organizational commitment is proven to be able to strengthen the influence of leadership and human resource development on employee performance.

Abstract

  This study aimed to describe achievement improvement in the cognitive domain of students Indonesian  of sub-theme 1” I and my dream” through applying recitation method  at fourth grade of SD Negeri 100950 Aek Tolong, North Padang Lawas Regency. This study uses CAR (Classroom Action Research) which includes two cycle and the subjects consist of 18 students. The data collection technique used observation and tests. The data was analyzed by using quantitative and qualitative analysis. The first cycle shows the average of students achievement is 64.38 (poor category), 10 students is completeness (55.56%) and 8 students is not completeness. Furthermore the second cycle shows the average students achievement is 84.38 (good category), 16 students is completeness (88.89%) and 2 students is not completeness.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of education level, teaching experience, training and responsibility on teacher work productivity at Ibnu Sina Batam Private Elementary School. The research method used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis. The sample in this research was 42 teachers obtained using census techniques. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS software. The research results show that the level of education, teaching experience, training and responsibility simultaneously have a significant effect on teacher work productivity (Fcount = 1379.988 > Ftable = 2.47, sig. 0.000 < 0.05). Partially, Teaching and Training Experience has a significant effect (tcount = 27,308 and 60,150 > ttable = 1.661, sig. 0.000 < 0.05), while the level of education and responsibility are not significant. The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.983) shows that 98.3% of the variation in work productivity is explained by this variable. Training and teaching experience contribute more dominantly, so it is recommended that schools improve training programs and provide teachers with opportunities to gain more diverse teaching experience to increase work productivity

Abstract

This research is a development research which aims to develop textbooks with a Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach to teach the creative thinking skills of Pancasila and Citizenship Education for elementary school students. To achieve the research objectives, Lee & Owens development research was carried out using the ADDIE model which includes analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate. In accordance with the product development research criteria, it must meet the criteria of validity, practicality and effectiveness. In this paper, a discussion will be carried out regarding the effectiveness of research products whose process is lifted from the evaluation stage of the research activities carried out. The research subjects were 26 students of Class V SD Negeri 200106 Padangsidimpuan. The object is Teaching Material Products that meet the effectiveness criteria. The product development evaluation stage design uses a one group pretest posttest design. Research instruments include Observation Sheets and Tests. Research conducted shows the application of learning to obtain a score of 3.47 which is in the effective category. Achievement of students' creative thinking abilities with a significance value of 0.01 which is smaller than 0.05 and an N-gain of 0.47 which indicates the product being developed is in the medium category. Thus it is concluded that civics education teaching materials with a contextual teaching and learning approach to teach elementary school students' creative thinking skills are effective. Teaching materials with a contextual teaching and learning approach are very supportive in giving directions to students to provide diverse and varied answers as well as unique answers. Besides that, it is found in active student learning, enthusiastic and enthusiastic in participating in the learning process.

Abstract

Program Asistensi Mengajar PKKM yang dilaksanakan di SMP Insan Cendekia Madani, Tangerang Selatan, Banten, dirancang untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep matematika, mengasah keterampilan pedagogik calon guru dalam pengajaran numerasi, serta memberikan pengalaman autentik bagi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Negeri Makassar. Program ini mencakup berbagai pendekatan inovatif, seperti Pembelajaran Terpersonalisasi (Differentiated Instruction), Kelas Tambahan (Extra Class), Pengajaran Berbasis Teknologi (Blended Learning), Pembelajaran Aktif (Active Learning), dan Pendampingan Sebagai Asisten Pengajar (Co-Teaching). Selama dua bulan pelaksanaan, kegiatan ini melalui tahapan perencanaan, implementasi, evaluasi, hingga pelaporan dan publikasi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa integrasi strategi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dan kolaboratif mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa, membangun motivasi belajar, serta memperkuat keterampilan mengajar calon guru. Lebih dari itu, program ini menjadi bagian dari strategi internasionalisasi program studi, dengan melibatkan mahasiswa dalam praktik pembelajaran di sekolah mitra yang berwawasan global dan berstandar internasional. Kemitraan ini tidak hanya memperkaya pengalaman profesional mahasiswa dalam konteks pendidikan modern, tetapi juga memperluas jejaring akademik, memperkuat reputasi institusi, dan mendukung capaian pembelajaran lulusan yang berdaya saing global. Kolaborasi tersebut memberikan dampak timbal balik yang signifikan, baik bagi pengembangan mutu pembelajaran di sekolah maupun bagi akselerasi transformasi program studi di tingkat internasional.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam menyelesaikan pemfktoran persamaan kuadrat yang ditinjau dari gaya kognitif visualizer dan verbalizer. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan skema yang terdiri sdari dua tahap yaitu: (1) mengidentifikasi jenis gaya kognitif siswa ke dalam dua jenis visualizer atau verbalizer; selanjutnya melakukan analisis terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa berdasarkan indikator yang telah ditetapkan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di UPT SPF SMP Negeri 19 pada 30 siswa kelas IX A. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini visualizer-verbalizer questionnaire, tes penyelesaian masalah terkait pemfaktoran persamaan kuadrat, dan pedoman wawancara. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pendekatan open-ended dalam pembelajaran matematika pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Galesong Utara dilihat dari hasil belajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Galesong Utara, dengan satu kelas yang terdiri dari 31 siswa dipilih secara acak sebagai sampel. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar (pretest dan posttest). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa: (1) rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa sebelum penerapan pendekatan open-ended adalah 34,81 dengan standar deviasi 6,32 (kategori sangat rendah); (2) rata-rata hasil belajar setelah penerapan adalah 76,32 dengan standar deviasi 14,74 (kategori sedang); (3) ketuntasan klasikal setelah penerapan mencapai 70,96%; dan (4) rata-rata gain ternormalisasi adalah 0,63 (kategori sedang). Hasil analisis inferensial menunjukkan bahwa: (1) rata-rata hasil belajar siswa setelah penerapan pendekatan open-ended lebih dari 68 (KKM); (2) rata-rata gain ternormalisasi lebih dari 0,3 (kategori sedang); dan (3) ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal setelah penerapan pendekatan open-ended kurang dari 80%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis deskriptif dan inferensial, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan open-ended efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika berdasarkan KKM dan gain ternormalisasi, namun tidak efektif jika dilihat dari ketuntasan klasikal.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using the outdoor study method on social studies learning outcomes regarding norms and customs in my area, class IV at SD Negeri 158501 Sibuluan. The method used is quantitative experimental research using a one group pretest and posttest design. The subjects in this research were 20 students in class IV B of SD Negeri 158501 Sibuluan. The data collection technique uses a test in the form of 10-item multiple choice questions, 5 questions and 5 questions essay. Manual data analysis techniques include Normality Test, Homogeneity Test, Hypothesis Test . From the results of observations made on the homeroom teacher in class IV B of SD Negeri 158501 Sibuluan through indicators by submitting 23 statement items, an average score of 89.16 was obtained. If the assessment criteria were consulted, the score was in the "Very Good" category. Regarding student learning outcomes after using the outdoor study method, an average score of 75 was given as "good". To see the effect of the outdoor study method on learning outcomes, it can be seen from the calculations carried out to obtain tcount = 5.91. When compared with ttable at a 95% confidence level or 5% error rate with degrees of freedom (dk) = N – 1 = 20 – 1 = 19, ttable is 2,093. If the value of tcount = 5.91 is compared with ttable= 2.093 then it can be seen that tcount is greater than ttable, namely 5.91>2.093. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of outdoor study methods on the learning outcomes of students in science and science subjects in class IV of SD Negeri 158501 Sibuluan.

Abstract

Abstract: Low Mathematical Problem Solving Ability (MPSA) is a major problem in research. One learning model that supports increasing MPSA in learning is the Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) learning model. The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of the CMP learning model on students' MPSA. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a one group pretest posttest design. The research population was class VIII students' at MTsN 1 Padangsidimpuan consisting of 11 study groups. The research sample was students' from class VIII-11 with a total of 33 students'. The research instrument was the CMP learning management observation sheet and students' MPSA test. Analysis of data from observations was carried out descriptively and analysis of student MPSA data was carried out using inferential statistical tests using the paired t-test. The research results show that CMP learning management obtained an average score of 3.52 (good). Furthermore, analysis of the students' MPSA data shows a significance value of 0.00 which is smaller than the alpha level of 0.05 (there is a significant difference between the average pre-test and post-test scores). Furthermore, an n-gain value of 0.44 (Medium) was obtained. Thus it is concluded that the implementation of CMP learning on students' MPSA is effective. Keywords: implementation, CMP, problem solving, mathematics. Abstrak: Rendahnya Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika (MPSA) merupakan masalah utama dalam penelitian. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang mendukung peningkatan MPSA dalam pembelajaran adalah model pembelajaran Connected Mathematics Project (CMP). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi model pembelajaran CMP terhadap MPSA siswa. Jenis penelitian adalah quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan one group pretest posttest design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII MTsN 1 Padangsidimpuan yang terdiri dari 11 Rombongan belajar. Sampel Penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII-11 dengan jumlah siswa 33 orang. Instrumen penelitian adalah lembar observasi pengelolaan pembelajaran CMP dan Tes MPSA siswa. Analisis data hasil observasi dilakukan dengan deskriptif dan analisis data MPSA siswa dilakukan dengan uji statistik inferensial uji paired t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengelolaan pembelajaran CMP memperoleh nilai rata rata 3,52 (baik). Selanjutnya analisi data MPSA siswa menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,00 lebih kecil dari taraf alpha 0,05 (terdapat perbedaan signifikan dari nilai rata rata pretes dan postes). Selanjutnya diperoleh nilai n-gain 0,44 (Sedang).
