Abstract

Student activity during the teaching and learning process is one of the indicators of students' desire or motivation to learn. One of the factors that affects learning activity is the pedagogic competence factor of teachers. This study aims to find out the picture of teachers' pedagogic competence and the picture of student learning activity as well as to analyze the influence of teachers' pedagogic competence on the learning activity of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 7 Sinjai. This study uses a quantitative method with an associative research type. The population in this study is 154 grade XI students with a sample of 77 students. Data collection was carried out by observation, questionnaire, and documentation techniques. The data analysis techniques in this study use descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the study show that the pedagogic competence of teachers is classified as good. Students' learning activity is classified as good. The results of hypothesis testing show that there is a positive and significant influence of teachers' pedagogic competence on the learning activity of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 7 Sinjai

Abstract

Pengenalan hidup sehat pada anak sangatlah penting karena membentuk dasar perilaku sehat yang akan mereka bawa sepanjang hidup mereka.  Kegiatan ini dilakukan di PAUD Taman Sejahtera Kelapa Dua, Kecamatan Anreapi, Kabupaten Polewali Mandar, Sulawesi Barat. Proses pelaksanaan pemberian materi pola hidup sehat dan pembelajaran dasar untuk PAUD dilakukan dengan cara yang menarik, menyenangkan, dan sesuai dengan usia dan tingkat perkembangan anak. Anak dapat menerapkan pola hidup sehat dan mengetahui pembelajaran dasar setelah melakukan kegiatan pengabdian. Pengenalan pola hidup sehat dan pembelajaran dasar pada PAUD memiliki banyak dampak positif bagi perkembangan anak baik secara fisik, kognitif, sosial, dan emosional. Oleh karena itu sangat penting untuk mengenalkan pola hidup sehat dan pembelajaran dasar kepada anak sejak usia dini agar mereka dapat tumbuh kembang secara optimal dan menjadi generasi penerus bangsa yang berkualitas.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan di Panti Asuhan Al-Wahhab, Kassi-Kassi, Kecamatan Rappocini, Kota Makassar, dengan tujuan untuk memberikan anak-anak kesempatan untuk mengekspresikan diri mereka melalui media gambar dan cerita. Anak-anak yang tinggal di panti asuhan seringkali menghadapi keterbatasan dalam mengungkapkan perasaan, impian, dan harapan mereka. Melalui kegiatan ini, anak-anak diberi ruang untuk menggambar dan menceritakan kisah di balik gambar mereka, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial, kreativitas, serta rasa percaya diri. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah menggambar bebas diikuti dengan bercerita tentang gambar yang mereka buat. Dalam kegiatan ini, yang diselenggarakan dengan cara interaktif dan menyenangkan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan komunikasi dan sosial anak-anak, menjadi lebih terbuka dalam berbagi perasaan dan impian mereka. Selain itu, anak-anak juga menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dalam menggambar dan berbicara tentang masa depan. Kegiatan ini terbukti efektif dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung perkembangan emosional dan kreativitas anak-anak, sekaligus mempererat hubungan sosial antar mereka. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif bagi perkembangan anak-anak di Panti Asuhan Al-Wahhab dan diharapkan dapat berlanjut untuk membantu anak-anak dalam menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri serta meraih impian.

Abstract

Blended learning is a learning method that combines face-to-face and virtual learning which can help students learn more flexibly, variedly and produce better understanding, because students can learn without being limited by distance, space and time. Makassar State University is one of the campuses that implements blended learning-based learning, which is supported by the release of the SYAM-OK learning platform. With this, the research objective to be achieved is to determine the effectiveness of blended learning-based learning for students of the Office Administration Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Makassar State University. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The results of this research show that the effectiveness of the application of blended learning in the Office Administration Education Study Program, when viewed as a whole, is effective. This can be seen from the research results for each indicator, namely: 1) Blended learning-based learning planning, including the policy of 70% face-to-face and 30% virtual face-to-face learning based on blended learning, as well as all the thorough preparations carried out by lecturers and students before implementing based learning. blended learning 2) Implementation of Blended Learning Based Learning, including, the role of lecturers and students in blended learning based learning, use of appropriate media, strategies and learning methods by lecturers, as well as maximum use of the learning platforms that have been provided, and 3) Evaluation of Based Learning Blended learning, including the assessment system used by lecturers to measure students' level of understanding in blended learning-based learning, the form of evaluation given by lecturers to students, as well as student learning outcomes which tend to be good after implementing blended learning-based learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of the Education and Training Management Information System (SIMDIKLAT) in the implementation of education and training programs at the Makassar Religious Education and Training Center. Using a qualitative approach with purposive sampling techniques, data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman method, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that the implementation of SIMDIKLAT has contributed positively to the effectiveness of the management of training activities, especially in terms of accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of the information produced. However, this study also identified several significant challenges, including: (1) the limitation of competent human resources in the operation of SIMDIKLAT, and (2) the lack of comprehensive training for training participants and staff in the use of the system. SIMDIKLAT has increased the efficiency of training management, the optimization of its potential is still constrained by organizational and technical factors. The theoretical and practical implications of these findings are discussed, including recommendations for the development of policies and strategies for the implementation of management information systems in the context of government education and training institutions.

Abstract

Laboratories have an important role in education. The laboratory is a forum for students to develop themselves, as well as a place to practice a competency. Therefore, laboratory management must certainly be paid attention to. A laboratory with good conditions will facilitate the achievement of effective and efficient learning goals. This study aims to find out the management of the laboratory and to find out the inhibiting factors and supporting factors for the management of the office governance automation laboratory at the Makassar National Vocational High School. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that: 1) the planning carried out includes the planning of the laboratory use schedule, the planning of the procurement of equipment and equipment and the planning of the laboratory management officer which is carried out at the beginning of each semester. However, the planning for equipment procurement has not been fully realized due to budget limitations; 2) the organization of the office governance automation laboratory at the Makassar National Vocational High School has not taken place according to what has been made. This is evidenced by the lack of availability of laboratory management personnel; 3) Maintenance of the Office Governance Automation Laboratory at the Makassar National Vocational High School only carries out daily maintenance, for example sweeping and mopping the floor without regular maintenance. Thus, the maintenance of the office governance automation laboratory at the Makassar National Vocational High School has not been carried out optimally; and 4) supervision of the office governance automation laboratory at the Makassar National Vocational High School is only carried out preventively, namely preventing errors and damage to the use of the laboratory by applying discipline in the laboratory

Abstract

Service is an activity carried out by someone in an institution or group to help or facilitate the community in achieving certain goals. And administration is a process of cooperation between two or more people to achieve targets by utilizing certain facilities and infrastructure in an efficient and useful manner. This research is qualitative descriptive research that aims to determine the Level of Community Satisfaction with Administration Services at the Salampe Village Office. Data collection techniques use observation, interview, and documentation methods. Data analysis techniques in this study use data condensation techniques, data presentation, conclusion, and verification. The results showed that the level of Community Satisfaction with Administration Services at the Salampe Village Office, seen as a whole, was already in the satisfactory category. This can be seen from the fulfillment of eight indicators, namely simplicity is considered good, clarity and certainty have shown good, security is good enough, openness has been carried out well, efficient has been carried out well, economics has been implemented well, equitable justice has been implemented well. But in terms of punctuality, it is still less or not optimal. This research can be used as a reference in decision making in terms of improving customer service for community satisfaction at the village level because previous research focused on the district level.

Abstract

The achievement of the goals, vision and mission of an agency or institution cannot be realized without the role and cooperation of parties in it. This research aims to analyze and document Employee Discipline in the office of the Food Security Office of South Sulawesi Province. This research is a qualitative research with data collection techniques using observation, interview and documentation methods with informant subjects, one of the leaders and four people who are also staff at the Office of the Food Security Office of South Sulawesi Province. The results of this research show that employee discipline at the Office of the Food Security Office of South Sulawesi Province is still lacking. This can be seen from the indicators of discipline, namely presence, responsibility, attitude, and norms. Where employees are present less in accordance with established regulations and observations proven through attendance list recaps, the implementation of responsibilities that are included in the category of very good, very good attitudes, and compliance with regulations that are still not good. The results of this research are still not as expected based on discipline indicators. This study presents new information by linking detailed theories and research loci different from previous research on employee discipline so that it can be used as evaluation material for research loci to improve employee discipline

Abstract

The quality of the work environment is all the conditions, factors, and elements that affect the experience and well-being of employees in their work environment. This study aims to find out how the quality of the work environment at the Office of the General Election Supervisory Agency (BAWASLU) of South Sulawesi Province is. Therefore, the research has significant in identifying the work environment that affects the quality of the work environment. This research is qualitative, therefore, to achieve the research objectives, data collection techniques are used, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study show that all indicators used in this study are quite effective. The indicator in question is Smoothness in working quality because all employees can communicate with each other in achieving smoothness at work. The security of the quality work environment is due to the complete CCTV in every corner of the room and security carries out its duties well. The safety of the work environment is of poor quality because the work environment of BAWASLU is not in accordance with work safety standards. The cleanliness of the quality work environment is due to employee awareness and cleaning services that regularly clean. The comfort of a quality work environment is because physical comfort is enough and non-physical comfort or relationships between employees are also very good. Finally, for adequate facilities are still of poor quality because there are several facilities in each room that are still lacking, and some employees complain about it. This study presents new information by associating detailed theories and research loci different from previous research on the quality of the work environment so that it can be used as evaluation material for the research locus to improve the quality of the work environment.

Abstract

The administrative management function refers to the set of activities and responsibilities required to ensure that school administration runs smoothly and efficiently. The main purpose of this study is to find out the application of management functions to administrative services at SMK Kartika XX-1 Makassar and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in optimizing administrative services at SMK Kartika XX-1 Makassar. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of descriptive research that focuses on the application of management functions based on indicators of planning, organizing, directing, and supervising. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the optimization of the management function in administrative services at SMK Kartika XX-1 Makassar can be said to be "Quite Optimal", This is shown through management indicators, namely: 1) Administrative planning is carried out systematically through deliberations led by the principal, head of administration, and involving all staff, to discuss and prepare annual program planning by paying attention to the needs of staff,  education customers, and the need for service support facilities; 2) The organization of administration starts from the determination of administrative tasks, followed by the recruitment and selection of administrative personnel, as well as the division of tasks according to the field and competence of each staff; 3) Administrative briefings are carried out directly by the principal, either personally or through meetings. Briefing and motivating activities aim to ensure that all staff understand their duties and responsibilities, the school's goals, and the efforts taken in achieving these goals; and 4) Administrative supervision is carried out every day, where the principal goes directly to supervise the performance of staff, identify staff needs, and provide appropriate solutions to obstacles that staff may face in carrying out their duties and responsibilities
