Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik instrumen integrated assessment. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan instrumen tes dari McIntire. Produk awal ditinjau oleh peer reviewers dan divalidasi oleh experts. Tahap uji coba instrumen melibatkan 392 peserta didik kelas XI IPA di tiga SMA di Kota Yogyakarta. Hasil uji coba instrumen berupa data politomus yang dianalisis dengan pendekatan PCM 1-PL menggunakan program Winsteps. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi lembar validasi butir soal, lembar angket respon pengguna instrumen, dan instrumen tes berbentuk uraian. Karakteristik instrumen tes terdiri atas validitas isi, validitas konstruk, tingkat kesukaran butir, fungsi informasi tes, kesalahan pengukuran, dan reliabilitas. Hasil ujicoba menunjukkan bahwa instrumen integrated assessment dinyatakan valid secara logis dan konstruk, tingkat kesukaran butir berada pada kategori sedang dan fungsi informasi tes sebesar 6,819 pada kemampuan -0,8 logit dengan kesalahan pengukuran sebesar 0,383 sehingga instrumen integrated assessment dinyatakan reliabel untuk mengukur critical thinking skills dan science process skills peserta didik. The characteristic of an integrated assessment instrument to measure critical thinking skills and science process skills AbstractThe purpose of this study is to describe the characteristics of the integrated assessment instrument. This study used the McIntire development model. The initial product was observed by peer reviewers and validated by experts. The pilot testing involved 392 grade XI students from three senior high schools in Yogyakarta City. The results of the pilot testing were polytomous data which were analyzed by means of the PCM 1-PL approach using Winsteps. The data-collecting instrument included a question item validation sheet, questionnaire of instrument user responses, and essay test. The characteristics of the test instrument consist of logic and construct validity, item difficulty, item information function, standard error measurement, and reliability. the integrated assessment instrument is valid in content and construct, item difficulty of integrated assessment instrument has a medium category, and test information function is obtained at 6.819 on the ability -0.8 logit with standard error of estimation at 0.383,  and thus the instrument is reliable to measure students’ critical thinking skills and science process skills.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas sirip pada sudu turbin savonius dan posisi sumbu turbin dibanding dengan tidak bersirip.Untuk mendukung penelitian, kita membuat prototipe turbin savonius dengan tiga posisi sumbu turbin : vertikal, horisontal dan diagonal. Turbin savonius dengan 3 sudu kelengkungan semi cylinder, setiap sudu tidak bersirip, bersirip 3 dan bersirip 6. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh hambatan jika menggunakan sirip dan tidak menggunakan sirip, turbin savonius mempunyai nilai optimum pada posisi sumbu turbin diagonal. Dari pengamatan pada kecepatan aliran fluida 9,8 meter/menit didapat performa turbin terbaik pada sudu turbin bersirip dan posisi sumbu diagonal dengan kecepatan putaran turbin sebesar 38 rpm.Hal ini disebabkan karena arah aliran air searah, antara sebelah kanan dan sebelah kiri sumbu , sedangkan pada posisi horisontal dan vertikal tidak terjadi distribusi beban, serhingga pada posisi diagonal lebih efisien setta lebih menguntungkan. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa efektivitas jumlah sirip pada sudu turbin savonius dan kecepatan aliran yang terjadi memberikan pengaruh terhadap performa turbin yang dihasilkan.Pemanfaatan aliran sungai sebagai penggerak turbin atau kincir untuk mendapatkan energi dibutuhkan perangkat pendukung yang dapat memberikan performen kehandalan alat dan fungsi alat sebagai penangkap energi. Turbin yang kita kenal pada umumnya digunakan untuk putaran tinggi dengan elevasi ketinggian aliran air cukup curam/tajam, sedangkan kincir ini digunakan pada aliran sungai hampir tidak mempunyai elevasi, tapi yang dimanfaatkan adalah debit aliran air dan kecepatan aliran air.Sehingga energi yang mengalirkan air dapat ditangkap menggunakan turbin/kincir untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber energi dalam bentuk energi mekanik berupa putaran, dari gerakan putar dan gaya putar berupa torsi, dengan kecepatan tertentu dapat diukur powernya, secara matematis F=m.a, P=T.v.Untuk selanjutnya dimanfaatkan sebagai penggerak generator listrik. Dari hasil pengujian prototipe turbin/kincir diperoleh, bahwa dengan menggunakan kincir air sudu bersirip dapat menghasilkan daya 1,5 kali lebih besar dibandingkan menggunakan sudu kincir tanpa bersirip, dari posisi pemasangan, posisi horisontal besar menghasilkan power, sedangkan kincir air yang bersirip lebih baik dari pada kincir yang tidak bersirip.

Abstract

As a part of management disaster, the intervention of psycho education has been done by a nurse in Diploma IV nursing program as dedication to community. The aims of  dedication to community is to explore the effect of psycho education among survivor of landslide in Banjarnegara in decreasing psychosocial problem. Method: We used psycho education as intervention and After implementation for 50 hours with technique of focus group discussion there was a significant decrease in psychosocial problem among family with survivor of landslide. We recommended that psycho education become of disaster management.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the integration of health literacy in science learning based on basic competencies and content of learning modules in science subjects in junior high schools in Indonesia. The modules analyzed are modules issued by the Indonesian government through the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology issued in 2021. The method used in this study is document analysis. The main instrument used to analyze the module is the content analysis table. The data analysis technique used is the percentage technique. The results of the study indicate that the overall context of health literacy has been included in the science learning module with varying coverage based on the components of the health literacy context, and the student's grade level. The coverage of the identified health literacy context components, namely healthy life reached 20%, disease reached 37%, Hazard that Threaten Health reached 20%, Public Health 7%, and Applications of Science in the Field of Health reached 17%. In addition, based on the junior high school grade level, the context of health literacy is mostly contained in the 8th grade module, reaching 66% of the total basic competencies contained in the module, while the 7th grade reaches 54%, and the 9th grade reaches 40%.

Abstract

Local wisdom is the result of the dialectic process between the individual and his environment. One of the local wisdom in Merapi Mountain, Indonesia is the traditional ceremony of Labuhan. This study is a qualitative descriptive study with literature review techniques. Based on the results of this study, it is known that the traditional ceremony of Labuhan Merapi is one of the local wisdom, tradition, culture, and traditional intelligence in the residents of the southern slope of Mount Merapi. Merapi's traditional ceremony is one of the traditional intelligence that can be managed in building a community-based disaster risk reduction system, especially at the disaster mitigation stage. Traditional intelligence is formed from the results of people's interaction with their physical environment over a long period of time. The formation of traditional intelligence allows people to know and read the signs of nature related to the eruption disaster of Mount Merapi.

Abstract

Science learning is a learning process that emphasizes natural phenomena and their relationships. This development research aims to determine the feasibility of a flipbook-assisted practicum guide that has been made, and to determine students' learning motivation using flipbook media on measuring physics material which is associated with measuring ideal body weight. The instrument used was 20 students from SMP Negeri 5 Jombang Class VII F. The results obtained were validation of media experts and material experts with a summary of aspects obtained by an average of 84.25% with a very good category. For the validation of the student response questionnaire the average percentage of 89.75% in the very good category. And the results of the student learning motivation response questionnaire with 3 aspects of the assessment averaged 84.60% in the very good category, so this flipbook-based media can be used to increase the motivation of junior high school students in measuring practicum

Abstract

The treatment of industrial wastewater and household waste using the electrocoagulation method with aluminum electrodes aims to determine the optimal time and voltage to reduce iron content, manganese content, and TDS from industrial wastewater and household waste. The method used in this study was the electrocoagulation method with aluminum electrodes. The object of this research was the reduction of iron content, manganese content and TDS of industrial wastewater and household waste. The optimization test of electric voltage and electrocoagulation time was carried out at variations of electric voltage of 5, 10, and 15 volts and time variations of 1, 3, 6, 9, and 12 hours. Then the samples were analyzed using Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS), pH meter and TDS meter. The results showed that the optimal time and voltage to reduce iron content, manganese content, and TDS of industrial wastewater and household waste was 12 hours and 15 volts. After the electrocoagulation process, the iron content was reduced by 95.37%, the manganese content was reduced by 100%, the TDS value was reduced by 43.66%, and the pH value increased by 26.73%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the profile of the critical thinking skills of junior high school students in science learning. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with purposive sampling techniques with the subject in this study, namely grade VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Juwangi. The result of the study is that each indicator of critical thinking skills has different results. The interpreting indicator has a value of 67,96 including the enough category, the analyze indicator has a value of 47,65 belonging to the low category, the evaluating indicator has a value of 66,40 belonging to the enough category, the indicator concludes to have a value of 53,12 belongs to the low category, and the explaining indicator has a value of 48,43 belonging to the low category. the average critical thinking skills of learners belong to the low category with a score of 56,57. The low critical thinking skills are caused when the learning process is still conventional so that it is only centered on the teacher and also not optimal learning activities that can improve students' critical thinking skills. Based on the results of the study, it is hoped that researchers can then develop learning tools that can improve students' critical thinking skills in science learning in junior high schools

Abstract

The variety of levels of student learning motivation causes learning in class not to be implemented optimally even to affect the problem solving process. One of the lessons that emphasize the skills in the form of the ability to solve problems is Natural Sciences (Natural Sciences). Therefore, this research is a tukuk tukuk analyzing the ability to solve the problem of junior high school students in grade VII in Gempta and Mitigation material. This research uses a scientific approach to cooperative learning models. The research design uses pretest and posttest. The pretest results are 54.74% and the posttest average value is 75.73%. Based on the results of the discussion test it can be interpreted that there are significant differences or improvements to the results of the pretest and posttest in both classes of class VII C and VII D. The results of the pretest include the Dalas of the Poor Category. Medium category, while posttest results show good results

Abstract

Much research has been carried out on local wisdom at the junior high school level nationally, but research that has been published internationally and is Scopus indexed specifically discusses local wisdom at the junior high school level is still very minimal. The purpose of writing this research is as material to find out trends in local wisdom research in junior high school science learning. This study uses a bibliometric analysis method that uses sources from Scopus with publication limits from 2019 to 2023 on the Scopus database, and utilizes the VOSviewer application as a visualization tool. Data analysis through the Scopus database in this research was based on search results with local wisdom keywords written in the title words column and science learning as keywords. Found 45 publications in Scopus during 2019-2023 that discuss local wisdom in junior high schools. Published articles about local wisdom in junior high school science learning during 2019-2023 will be more researched in 2020 based on the results of data analysis through the Scopus database. The results of the bibliometric analysis research show that the trend of research on local wisdom at the junior high school level in the five year period (2019-2023) has focused more on the position of students as learning subjects and the development of research on local wisdom in junior high schools that specifically discusses the implications for strengthening the attitude of love for local culture for students have not been studied much
