Abstract

This study aims to redesign the UI/UX of the Klik Pelalawan application to enhance user comfort. Klik Pelalawan is a mobile application designed as a platform for submitting complaints or aspirations from the public to the local government of Pelalawan Regency. An initial assessment of the application's UI/UX was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method, accompanied by a survey of 35 residents of Pelalawan Regency. The assessment resulted in a score of 43, indicating that the application's usability level requires improvement. To address this issue, an analysis and redesign process was carried out using the Design Thinking methodology, which consists of five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing. During the testing phase, the redesigned UI/UX was reevaluated by 40 residents of Pelalawan Regency using the SUS method and a questionnaire. The new design achieved a score of 77, signifying that the redesigned UI/UX has successfully improved user comfort for the Klik Pelalawan application.

Abstract

Aplikasi ticketing diluncurkan sebagai inovasi baru dan ditujukan untuk memangkas proses tiket manual. Dalam peningkatan jumlah penumpang setiap tahunnya, penggunaan aplikasi masih rendah, beberapa ulasan negatif dan kendala dari proses pembayaran kerap dikeluhkan pengguna. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi kepuasan dan niat berperilaku pengguna dalam menggunakan aplikasi Access by KAI, serta apakah kepuasan pengguna berpengaruh dalam niat berperilaku. Data dikumpulkan melalui google form. Sebanyak 125 responden yang memenuhi kriteria, kemudian dianalisis lebih lanjut dengan PLS-SEM. Hasil menunjukkan kepuasan pengguna berpengaruh positif dengan niat berperilaku. Content terbukti berpengaruh paling positif terhadap kepuasan. Habit terbukti berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap niat berperilaku dalam penggunaan aplikasi Access by KAI

Abstract

This study examines the development of green shipping strategies to reduce carbon emissions in the shipping industry. Using a mixed-method approach, the study was conducted by analyzing data from 50 sample ships and involving 150 maritime industry stakeholders. The results showed that the implementation of green shipping technology can reduce carbon emissions by up to 23.5%, with a combination of technologies achieving a reduction of up to 35%. Economic analysis revealed an average payback period of 3.2 years. The study resulted in a three-pillar strategy recommendation that includes gradual investment in environmentally friendly technologies, crew capacity development, and industry collaboration for infrastructure development. These findings provide significant contributions to the development of effective and sustainable carbon emission reduction strategies in the shipping industry.

Abstract

In the era of intense competition in the beauty industry, it is important for companies to understand customer behavior and identify loyal customer segments. Ths study aims to analyze customer loyalty at the Lanona Skincare Beauty clinic using the LRFM (Length, Recency, Frequency, Monetary) model with the K-Means Clustering method. Beauty clinics have not implemented CRM as part of theur business strategy. There is ineffective marketing strategies. Customer transaction data from April to October 2023 was collected and analyzed to determine customer value based on LRFM parameters. The analysis results show that K-Means is effetive in grouping cutomers until the best three clusters are obtained. Cluster 1 with a results of 0,620 is the most loyal customers, cluster 2 with a results of 0,100 is grouped into new inactive customers and cluster 3 with a results of 0,353 is high frequency customers but low revenue contribution. The proposed marketing strategies for each cluster include rewarding an improving communication to maintain customers loyalty. This research provides valuable insights for Lanona Skincare Beauty Clinic in creating a more focused and succesfull marketing plan to increase customer happiness and loyalty.

Abstract

The internet plays a crucial role in facilitating various human activities, including in the field of electronic banking services, which encompasses various financial services such as ATMs, internet banking, SMS banking, and mobile banking. All of these aim to enhance service quality with a focus on security, convenience, and effectiveness. BSI is one of the banks offering mobile banking services. Based on user reviews, the BSI Mobile app often experiences technical issues such as bugs and transaction failures. To assess the level of satisfaction with the app, the researcher uses sentiment analysis methods. This method also helps potential customers identify aspects that need improvement or development in the products and services to enhance their quality. The study employs Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Naïve Bayes algorithms. The test results show that the Naïve Bayes algorithm achieves an accuracy of 74.37%, recall of 74.37%, precision of 75.46%, and an F1-score of 74.5%. Meanwhile, the SVM algorithm achieves an accuracy of 77.39%, precision of 77.8%, recall of 77.39%, and an F1-score of 77.38%. These findings indicate that SVM performs better in sentiment classification tasks compared to Naïve Bayes. With its superior performance, SVM is the more suitable algorithm for analyzing user perceptions of the BSI Mobile app. Therefore, the findings of this study can contribute to the development of more innovative digital service strategies and enhance competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

Retaining user loyalty amidst the intensifying competition in social media platforms is a significant challenge for app developers. Threads, Meta’s new microblogging platform, experienced a sharp decline in daily active users following its initial launch, despite rapid early user growth. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing user satisfaction and the intention to continue using Threads through the lens of the Expectation Confirmation Model (ECM). This research employs a quantitative approach, collecting data via an online questionnaire distributed to 120 respondents. The data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings indicate that Satisfaction is a key variable with a significant impact on Continuance to Use, whereas Perceived Usefulness does not significantly influence Continuance to Use. Additionally, Enjoyment plays a crucial role in enhancing both Satisfaction and Continuance to Use, emphasizing the importance of emotional factors in user experience. This study suggests that app developers should prioritize user satisfaction by improving service quality and relevant features while enhancing the app’s overall value to sustain user loyalty.

Abstract

Technological developments are increasingly growing rapidly, taking factors decisions made by customers or consumers are influenced by personal traits. environment to customer satisfaction in Buana Central Park housing products. This research aims to determine the effect of physical attractiveness, and the beauty of the population in this research were all customers of PT Buana Cipta Propertindo in Batam City, who were once purchased Buana Central Park products, samples used in this research amounted to 100 people with saturated sampling techniques. This type of research is quantitative. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research shows that the physical attractiveness and beauty of the environment are influential significant to customer satisfaction. Data quality test used in this research using validity and reliability tests that show that the indicators are used valid to measure existing variables. In the classical assumption test, the data regression model normal distribution, free of multicellularity and heteroscedasticity does not occur. Results the research shows that partially (T test) variable physical attractiveness and beauty environment has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction in purchasing Buana Central Park housing products amounted to 2,458 and 3,339. then, simultaneously (test F) variable physical attractiveness and beauty of a positive and influential environmen. Significance of customer satisfaction in the purchase of housing products was 166,023. And the coefficient of adjusted is 20.7%, which means the purchase decisioncan be explained by the variable physical attractiveness and beauty of the environment while the rest 79.3% was affected by other variables not examined in this research. From the results of the research concluded that physical attractiveness and the beauty of the environment have a positive effect on customer satisfaction in the housing company Buana Central Park in Batam City.

Abstract

The development of the trading business world shows the increasingly intense competition that exists in each company. In this study, researchers conducted research on the effect of service quality (X1), promotion (X2) and information quality (X3) on purchase decisions (Y) at PT Ng Tech Supplies in Batam City. The method that researchers use in this research is quantitative methods and data collection through the distribution of google form questionnaires. The sample obtained is 116 samples using simple random sampling. This study was assisted by data processing tools, namely SPSS version 25. The t results of this study show that service quality value is 3,212>1,981 and sig 0,002<0,05 means that service quality has a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions, promotion value is 1,364<1,981 and sig 0,175>0,05 means that promotion has a positive and insignificant effect on purchase decisions, and information quality value is 4,714>1,981 and sig 0,000>0,05 means that information quality has a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions. While the f result show the value is 45,115>2.69, that means simultaneously result is service quality, promotion and information quality have a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions.

Abstract

In the most important vehicle service needs and this can be felt by the universe. In this study the goal is to be able to find out the causes of facilities and service quality on purchasing decisions, as well as knowing the facilities and service quality together can influence consumer purchasing decisions on Pelni ships. And in this research also uses descriptive research and quantitative approaches. And in the data collection technique using questionnaires. Meanwhile, sampling using non probability sampling technique with incidental sampling type. From the results of this study indicate that there is no effect of facilities on purchasing decisions, because the test results obtained tcount <ttable, tcount is 1.674 with a significance level of 0.097, while ttable is 1.984. While the influence of service quality on purchasing decisions, because in the test results show tcount> ttable with the calculation of the tcount value of 4.464 with a significance level of 0.000, with a value of t table of 1.984. And there is also, that there is an effect of facilities and service quality together on purchasing decisions, with the test results of the value of fcount is 10.629 with a significance level of 0.000, with a value of ftable of 2.465.

Abstract

Today's growth in the property business is growing rapidly. This will have an impact on the emergence of rapid competition between companies in the property sector. Companies are trying to create services that are most suitable for their customers who can do business in this era of global competition, this is also a big challenge for every company to be more advanced. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of advertising, brand image and sales promotion on purchasing decisions at LJ Hooker Grand Batam. The sampling technique in this study is a quantitative researcher with a population of 200 customers, the number of samples taken is 115 respondents. Data obtained by distributing questionnaires to LJ Hooker Grand Batam customers. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression analysis. The data quality test in this study used the validity and reliability tests, the classic assumption tests in this study used the normality test, the multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test and the effect test used multiple linear regression analysis and analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2), while the hypothesis testing in this study using the t test and the F test using the SPSS version 25 software program
