Abstract

ABSTRACT One of the serious public health problems is dengue fever cases, which is influenced by environmental factors. This can influence the increase in larvae-free rates by a percentage of 85%. This is due to a lack of public awareness in carrying out 3M Plus activities regularly. The 3M Plus behavior is closely related to the incidence of dengue hemorrhagic fever in Indonesian people. This research aimed to determine the relationship between 3M Plus behavior and the incidence of dengue hemorrhagic fever in Indonesian people. The research method was carried out by literature review using the Google Scholar database with inclusion criteria free full text manuscript. The languages used were Indonesian and English. The data taken was the articles published from 2016 to 2023. The results were analyzed and obtained in six national journals, which explained that 3M Plus behavior was related to the incidence of dengue hemorrhagic fever in Indonesian people. The 3M Plus behavior that had a dominant relationship to the incidence of dengue fever was the habit of draining and tightly closing water reservoirs. This research can be concluded that the 3M Plus behavior among Indonesian people needs to be optimized in order to reduce the incidence of dengue fever, especially regarding the implementation of 3M Plus behavior among the community. Abstract

ABSTRAK This research aimed to address stunting, a chronic nutritional problem influenced by long-term malnutrition and factors related to maternal conditions, fetal development, and early childhood. Recognizing the crucial role of cadres and parents, the study focused on enhancing their knowledge and skills, particularly in Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF). The community activity aimed to improve family health by providing education and training to Integrated Health Post cadres and mothers, specifically in preparing complementary feeding with locally sourced ingredients. Using a quantitative experimental approach with a pre-experimental one-group pre-test design, 40 respondents were selected through proportional stratified random sampling. The findings showed a significant impact on maternal knowledge, with 67.5% having low knowledge before the intervention, reducing to 20% post-intervention. Conversely, the percentage of mothers with high knowledge increased from 32.5% before to 80% after the intervention. The Paired T-test confirmed the effectiveness of the intervention at Bonerombo Public Health Center, North Buton Regency (p-value: 0.000 < 0.05). It is recommended to continue and expand similar educational interventions due to the demonstrated positive impact on maternal knowledge. Incorporating qualitative research methods, such as interviews or focus groups, may provide deeper insights into participants' experiences, enriching the understanding of the community's response. This holistic approach can contribute to developing more targeted and culturally sensitive health education programs. Keywords: Integrated Health Post Cadres, Stunting, Toddler, Mother’s Knowlegde

Abstract

ABSTRACT The International Diabetes Federation (IDF) predicts that at least 463 million people suffer from diabetes worldwide in 2019, equivalent to 9.3% of the population in the same age group. The Indonesian Pediatrician Association, stated that along with the increasing number of obesity among adolescents, the incidence of various obesity complications, such as type-2 diabetes, also increased. The increase in the incidence of diabetes mellitus in adolescents is associated with changes in social status and following modern lifestyles, such as lack of physical activity (exercise) and unhealthy eating habits, which results in obesity and can cause insulin resistance to lead to Diabetes Mellitus. This study is a literature review with the aim of identifying factors that increase the risk of diabetes in adolescence. Searching for publication articles is done with Google Scholar and Pubmed databases using the search terms diabetes mellitus, risk factors, adolescents. Research Methodology is carried out by searching, collecting, reviewing and analyzing research articles that meet the requirements that have been set. The results of the article analysis are then used to make a literature review review. Based on a review of several research articles that have been analyzed, it was concluded that in this study showed a relationship between premature birth, physical activity, diet, smoking and obesity with risk factors for diabetes in adolescents. ABSTRACT Early marriage usually occurs in adolescent under 19 years of age when the child is not physically, physiologically, or psychologically ready to assume the responsibilities of marriage and child-rearing. This. Data from the Kendari Women's Empowerment Service in 2022, the cases of early marriage increased to 36 cases from 13 cases in 2021. This research uses the literature review study search method via Google Scholar and PubMed. The populations in this study were mothers giving birth in their teens, namely early teens (10-14) years and middle teens (15-19) years. The results of the analysis show that the results of this literature review research show that there is a risk for teenage mothers giving birth. This is because the mother's young age means she is at greater risk of experiencing pregnancy complications because the reproductive organs are not the results of the research showed that there were informants who experienced one of the danger signs in pregnancy, namely a decrease in the baby's movements at 24 weeks of gestation and 32 weeks of gestation until the baby was born, causing death in the baby shortly after birth. Apart from that, there was one informant who experienced anemia which hurt the mother and experienced an abortion at 16 weeks of pregnancy.
