Abstract

This research was conducted to complete the teaching materials, namely the worksheets used by teachers. This research is also based on the lack of use of student worksheets in SMA Negeri 5 Palangka Raya. Teachers often use textbooks and modules in the learning process rather than using student worksheets. The purpose of this study was to determine the needs of students for the use of STEM-based student worksheets in class XI on dynamic fluid material. The research instrument used was a questionnaire distributed to students via google form. Based on the results of the needs analysis, 74.1% of students stated that physics is difficult to learn and understand, because it uses a lot of formulas. The online system is the main reason students have difficulty understanding physics material. Teaching materials that are often used by teachers in learning physics are textbooks. Student modules and worksheets are used very rarely and have a fairly low percentage of 33.3% and 25.9%, respectively. Therefore, it is necessary to develop STEM-based worksheets on dynamic fluid materials.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar fisika siswa sebelum dan sesudah dan hubungan yang signifikan antara aktivitas siswa dengan hasil belajar fisika siswa setelah diterapkan model problem based learning berbasis numbered heads together. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah quasi experimental design yaitu one group pretest-posttest design. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa dan tes hasil belajar berupa soal uraian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 dan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara aktivitas siswa dengan hasil belajar fisika siswa setelah diterapkan model problem based learning berbasis numbered heads together dengan nilai signifikansi 0,028 < 0,05. DOI: 10.29408/kpj.v4i2.2118

Abstract

This study was based on the lack of student learning outcomes due to the low variation in the learning model. This study aims to examine (1) Management of learning using inkuiri learning model guided in newton law material class X. (2) Significant influence before and after the implementation of the inkuiri learning model is guided to the learning outcomes in newton law material class X. This research uses quantitative approach and this type of research uses Pre-Experimental design in this design there is no control group to compare with the experimental group and with "One Group Pretest – Posttest Design". Instruments used in the form of observation sheets of learning management, tests of cognitive learning results, observation sheets affective and psychomotor. The population in this study took grade X science students in semester 2 at MA Muslimat NU Palangkaraya by sampling using saturation sampling techniques or saturated samples then the entire population was sampled. The results showed that (1) The management of learning using inquiri guided with an average value of 3.4 is quite good status. (2) The influence of guided inquiri learning models on learning outcomes with a significant value of 0.00 < 0.05.

Abstract

This research aims to determine: 1) the procedure for teaching materials in the form of e-modules 2) the feasibility of teaching materials in the form of e-modules 3) the responses of students to the e-modules developed. This study uses the ADDIE Model Research and Development (R&D) method. The stages are needs analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The results of this study are: 1) the procedure for making teaching materials in the form of e-modules, namely analysis, design of teaching materials by determining the format of teaching materials, development, namely the validation of teaching material products through validation of media experts, materials and learning, implementation to students through small group tests. 2) the feasibility of teaching materials in the form of e-module, the results of the media expert's assessment obtained a percentage of 75% with good and feasible criteria. The results of the material expert's assessment obtained a percentage of 76.2% with good and feasible criteria. The results of the learning expert's assessment obtained a percentage of 82% with good criteria and suitable for use. 3) The results of the students' responses obtained a percentage of 85% in the very good category.

Abstract

Description of the needs of teachers and students is one of the information services to describe a state of learning in the classroom. This study aims to determine the physics learning process regarding (1) obstacles in learning, (2) understanding of the material, (3) the use of teaching materials, (4) the use of learning media, (5) a description of the need for media use. This research was conducted by interviewing physics teachers at MAN 2 Pulang Pisau and distributing offline to students in class XI MIA I and XI MIA II. Each class is 20 so that the sample used is 40 students. The method used in this research is a combination of qualitative and quantitative descriptive (Mixed Methods). The data analysis technique used is a qualitative analysis in the form of interviews and a quantitative stage in the form of a questionnaire. The results of the study: (1) obstacles in learning according to teachers and students, namely it is difficult to understand the learning material because there are too many similarities (87.5%); (2) Teachers and students said students had more difficulty understanding static fluid material compared to other materials (90%), (3) teaching materials used according to teachers and students in learning were in the form of textbooks (92.5%), (4) Teachers say they never use learning media, while students use learning media only in the form of worksheets (87.5%), (5) Teachers and students say they really need print media in the form of comic-based media this is to make it easier to understand the material and be motivated in learning ( 97.5%).

Abstract

The low level of scientific literacy in Indonesia is an important issue that must be addressed. One of the contributing factors is the lack of reliable and valid scientific literacy measurement tools. This study aims to analyze the dimensions and indicators used in developing scientific literacy measurement tools in science learning. The method used is a systematic literature review by collecting and reviewing 18 related research articles in the last 10 years. The results of the analysis show that most studies refer to the PISA framework which includes dimensions of explaining scientific phenomena, designing and evaluating research, and interpreting data and evidence scientifically. The integration of peatlands as a potential learning environment can be an innovative way to improve students' scientific literacy skills.

Abstract

Terbatasnya akses ke teknologi canggih dapat menciptakan kesenjangan digital di antara peserta didik, membatasi potensi multimedia interaktif untuk menjangkau semua peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa berpengaruh multimedia interaktif terhadap pemahaman konsep peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPA. Metode penelitian adalah meta-analisis, dengan pencarian sumber diperoleh 13 artikel jurnal dengan kata kunci "Multimedia Interaktif", "Memahami Konsep IPA" pada software manajemen website, referensi mendeley, google schoolar dan aplikasi publish or perish harzing. Diperoleh 6 artikel jurnal penelitian yang relevan 2014-2024. Nilai Ukuran Efek size sebesar 1,196 (tinggi). Interpretasi nilai Effect Size adalah pengaruh multimedia interaktif terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA sebesar 88% bila diterapkan pada siswa. Dengan demikian, multimedia interaktif efektif diimplementasikan sebagai solusi untuk memahami konsep peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPA.

Abstract

This research was motivated by students' low understanding of alternating current concepts, with 68% of students experiencing difficulties and an average daily test score of only 65, below the minimum completion criteria of 75. The study aimed to develop and test the validity of a vertical axis windmill learning media in enhancing students' understanding of alternating current concepts at MA Darul Ulum Palangka Raya. The Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) was used in media development, with validation conducted by media experts using assessment instruments for appearance and attractiveness aspects. Data analysis employed percentage techniques to determine media feasibility levels. Results showed satisfactory validity levels, with appearance aspects reaching 87.5% (highly valid) and attractiveness aspects at 75.0% (valid). This learning media proved suitable for physics education, featuring the ability to demonstrate alternating current generation principles practically and interactively through a vertical axis windmill system equipped with mini generators and digital oscilloscopes.

Abstract

Twenty-first century learning requires students to possess scientific communication skills as an essential ability to understand and convey scientific concepts. However, these skills are still relatively low, so an appropriate learning model is needed. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on renewable energy content toward students’ scientific communication skills. This research employed a pre-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design involving 33 tenth-grade students at SMAN 5 Palangka Raya. The instruments used were essay questions and assessment rubrics, and the data were analyzed descriptively and with N-Gain. The results indicated an increase in the average score from 45.55 to 66.27 with an N-Gain value of 0.37, categorized as moderate. Although some indicators showed only slight improvement, overall the conclusion is that the PBL model is effective in enhancing students’ scientific communication skills on renewable energy material.

Abstract

Inovasi media pembelajaran dengan Flipbook sangat diperlukan untuk mendongkrak hasil pembelajaran Fisika didukung penelitian relevan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk melihat berapa pengaruh keefektifan media kepada hasil belajar peserta didik saat diterapkan. Penelitian metode meta analisis, diperoleh pencarian literatur data sebanyak 22 artikel jurnal penelitian menggunakan kata kunci “Flipbook Fisika”, “Media Pembelajaran Interaktif Flipbook Fisika”, “Media Pembelajaran Flipbook”, dan “Flipbook Fisika SMA” di website google schoolar, mendeley reference management software, dan aplikasi harzing’s publish or perish. Menyelidiki efektivitas metode R&D, full experiment, dan quasi experiment dilengkapi bentuk statistik mean, standar deviasi, chi-square, dan hasil uji t. Variabel terkonsentrasi pada tahun publikasi 2013-2023. Diperoleh 8 artikel jurnal penelitian relevan. Hasil Effect Size sebesar 2,9 (tinggi) dengan interpretasi pengaruh keefektifan media pembelajaran flipbook terhadap hasil belajar fisika sebesar 99% saat diterapkan kepada peserta didik. Maka, media ajar Flipbook efektif dilaksanakan sebagai solusi meningkatkan hasil belajar Fisika peserta didik di segala jenjang pendidikan.
