Abstract

This article examines students’ perceptions of using WhatsApp for learning English at SMP Islam As-Shofa and investigates differences between male and female students’ perceptions. The study employed a quantitative descriptive design involving 30 ninth-grade students from two classes. Data were collected through online questionnaires distributed via a WhatsApp group. Students’ responses were analyzed using a Likert scale to measure perceptions of WhatsApp as a learning tool. The results indicate that WhatsApp is fairly feasible for learning English, with 40% of students expressing a positive perception. Regarding gender differences, 24.4% of male students and 21% of female students reported positive perceptions. Conversely, 45.2% of students expressed negative perceptions, with 23.8% of males and 22.4% of females disagreeing. These findings suggest that while WhatsApp can support English learning, students’ perceptions vary, highlighting the need for strategies to enhance engagement and effectiveness in online learning environments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media E-Pocket perilaku agresif yang valid dan praktis digunakan dalam layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) bagi siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE, yang meliputi tahap analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation, namun penelitian ini hanya sampai tahap implementation. Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII dan VIII SMP Negeri  Tualang. Instrumen pengumpulan data mencakup lembar validasi ahli media, ahli materi, serta angket praktikalitas siswa. Hasil validasi oleh ahli media menunjukkan rata-rata persentase kevalidan sebesar 98,75% dengan kategori sangat valid, sementara validasi oleh ahli materi memperoleh persentase 100% dengan kategori sangat valid. Uji praktikalitas pada kelompok kecil memperoleh persentase 96,73%, sedangkan uji praktikalitas kelompok terbatas memperoleh persentase 96,88%, keduanya termasuk dalam kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, media E-Pocket perilaku agresif dinyatakan sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pendukung layanan BK guna membantu siswa memahami bentuk-bentuk perilaku agresif dan mengelolanya secara mandiri di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Kemampuan regulasi emosi merupakan salah satu aspek penting yang perlu dimiliki peserta didik SMA untuk mendukung perkembangan pribadi, sosial, dan akademik. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan media layanan yang mampu membantu peserta didik memahami emosi secara lebih mandiri dan menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku saku digital berbantuan FlippingBook tentang regulasi emosi untuk peserta didik SMA serta menguji tingkat validitas dan kepraktisannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development dengan model ADDIE yang dilaksanakan hingga tahap implementasi terbatas. Validasi dilakukan oleh dua ahli media dan dua ahli materi. Hasil validasi ahli media menunjukkan rata-rata tingkat kevalidan berada pada kategori sangat valid, sedangkan validasi ahli materi juga berada kategori sangat valid. Uji praktikalitas yang melibatkan uji kelompok kecil dan kelompok terbatas menunjukkan bahwa media berada dalam kategori sangat praktis. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa buku saku digital regulasi emosi yang dikembangkan layak, praktis, serta dapat digunakan sebagai media pegangan peserta didik untuk membantu peserta didik memahami emosi secara mandiri.

Abstract

Fenomena people pleaser merupakan salah satu permasalahan psikologis yang kerap muncul pada peserta didik, khususnya di jenjang SMK/sederajat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media Bimbingan dan Konseling berupa buku saku digital tentang people pleaser sebagai upaya membantu peserta didik mengenali dan menghindari kecenderungan perilaku tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Pra-riset dilakukan di SMK Negeri 2 Pekanbaru dengan jumlah sampel 30 siswa dari kelas X TKP dan XI Mesin Pengelasan (MP) 2. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui identifikasi kebutuhan siswa melalui kuesioner dan menilai kualitas produk dari ahli materi dan bahasa. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk berupa buku saku digital people pleaser berhasil dikembangkan melalui seluruh tahapan model ADDIE. Berdasarkan hasil validasi, buku saku digital tersebut dinyatakan sangat layak digunakan, dengan skor validitas ahli media sebesar 94,13% dan skor validitas ahli materi serta bahasa sebesar 91,30%, yang keduanya termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid.

Abstract

Dari hasil survei yang dilakukan di SMPN 1 Benai terdapat 18,75% siswa yang memiliki penyesuaian diri rendah, ditemukan bahwa masih banyak siswa kelas VII yang belum mampu menyesuaikan diri dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik Problem Solving terhadap peningkatan penyesuaian diri siswa SMPN 1 Benai. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest Design pada 10 siswa yang dipilih secara purposif. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket penyesuaian diri yang valid dan reliabel. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif, diuji dengan Wilcoxon, dan dihitung N-Gain Score. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan penyesuaian diri siswa setelah intervensi, yang bisa dilihat dari sebelum diberikan layanan siswa siswa sulit mengendalikan emosi, siswa sulit menerima ide baru, serta sulit bergaul atau bekerja sama dengan teman, menarik diri dari kelompok, dan juga sering menunda atau mengabaikan tugas sekolah. Dan setelah diberikan layanan dapat dilihat siswa mulai mau berkomunikasi, aktif dalam kerja kelompok, mengerjakan tugas tepat waktu, bisa mengambil keputusan sendiri, dan berani menerima konsekuensi. Uji Wilcoxon (Asymp. Sig. 0,005 < 0,05) membuktikan perbedaan signifikan antara kondisi sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. N-Gain Score 0,49 termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik Problem Solving berpengaruh positif terhadap penyesuaian diri siswa. Oleh karena itu, disarankan bagi guru BK untuk mengimplementasikan teknik ini sebagai alternatif layanan, bagi sekolah untuk menjadikannya acuan dalam menangani masalah penyesuaian diri, dan bagi peneliti selanjutnya untuk mengembangkan penelitian dengan teknik atau variabel lain.

Abstract

THE INTEGRATION OF AQIDAH AND AKHLAQ IN ISLAMIC EDUCATIONThis study examines how the integration of faith and morality strengthens character formation in contemporary Islamic education, addressing ongoing issues such as fragmented curricula, weak value internalization, and the separation of theological principles from moral practice. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted following PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Articles were retrieved from Google Scholar, Publish or Perish, SINTA 2–4 national journals, and reputable international databases (Scopus and DOAJ). From an initial pool of 167 studies published between 2020 and 2025, ten articles met all inclusion criteria. Data were analyzed using thematic categorization and narrative synthesis to identify recurring patterns across the literature. The review demonstrates that faith consistently provides the theological foundation for ethical orientation, while morality serves as the practical expression of these beliefs. Key themes include: faith as a moral framework, morality as lived behavior, teacher exemplarity and habituation as internalization strategies, and curriculum designs rooted in theological values. The reviewed studies consistently show that character formation cannot rely solely on cognitive instruction; instead, it requires moral practice through habituation and authentic teacher–student engagement. The integration of Islamic values must also respond to digital-era challenges and sociocultural pluralism. The synthesis produces a conceptual model positioning creed as the theological foundation and ethics as its practical manifestation in students’ character development. This study contributes an integrative framework that can serve as a reference for designing adaptive and applicable Islamic character education models across diverse modern school contexts.

Abstract

This study investigates English Study Program students’ perceptions of Instagram Reels as a tool for vocabulary acquisition at FKIP Universitas Riau. A quantitative descriptive design was employed. Data were collected using a 30-item closed-ended questionnaire adapted from the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Mobile-Assisted Language Learning (MALL) frameworks. The population comprised 113 students from the 2024 cohort, and 88 students were selected through purposive sampling using the Slovin formula. The results indicate positive perceptions of Instagram Reels for learning new vocabulary, with an overall mean score of 3.83 (High). Across six indicators, students reported generally high perceptions, with the highest mean in Access to Mobile Devices (M = 4.06: Very High) and the lowest mean in Learning Resources (M = 3.67: High). Overall, Instagram Reels is perceived as an accessible and useful medium to support vocabulary learning among the participants.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to bridge this gap by systematically synthesizing empirical findings from a diverse set of studies to construct a comprehensive and integrative model for building educational leadership capacity. Methods: Employing a systematic literature synthesis approach, this research critically analyzed 10 empirical studies (3 from Indonesian national journals, 7 from international publications) using a comparative thematic analysis framework to identify core constructs, effective practices, and contextual variables. Results: The synthesis culminated in the development of an integrative model composed of four interconnected pillars: (1) Foundational Values and Ethical Character, (2) Collaborative and Relational Competencies, (3) Enabling Organizational Systems and Structures, and (4) Continuous, Job-Embedded Learning Processes. The model positions leadership as a dynamic, developmental capacity that is cultivated at the intersection of individual growth and systemic support. Implications: The proposed model provides an actionable framework for policymakers, educational leaders, and teacher training institutions in Indonesia to design targeted leadership development initiatives, revise existing policies, and foster a sustainable culture of collective leadership.

Abstract

This study aims to provide a comprehensive mapping of the role of work motivation in Indonesian organizations through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 15 national and international articles published between 2020 and 2025. The review is motivated by inconsistent empirical findings regarding the relationship between work motivation and employee performance, indicating that the effectiveness of motivation is strongly shaped by contextual factors such as organizational culture, leadership style, compensation, and work structure. The SLR method involved systematic database searches, article selection based on inclusion criteria, full-text reading, data extraction, and thematic synthesis to identify patterns of relationships among variables. The analysis reveals three main patterns: motivation as a direct determinant of performance, motivation functioning as a mediating variable between organizational factors and performance, and motivation that shows no significant effect, particularly within bureaucratic government institutions. These findings demonstrate that work motivation is not universal but is highly dependent on the organizational ecosystem. The novelty of this study lies in its thematic mapping of the most recent five-year literature, integrating various organizational contexts in Indonesia to provide an updated and comprehensive scientific overview that supports the development of evidence-based human resource management policies

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to explore the essence of integrity in character-based leadership in schools through contemporary national and international literature reviews. The main focus is understanding how the concept of integrity is explained in educational leadership literature and how integrity shapes effective character-based leadership practices in schools. Methods: The research employs a narrative literature review approach by analyzing articles from SINTA, Scopus, DOAJ, ERIC, and Google Scholar databases published between 2020-2025. Selection criteria include topics on integrity in educational leadership, ethical leadership, and character leadership with focus on their influence on teacher performance and school environment. Results: Findings indicate that integrity is a core value that stands independently in educational leadership, encompassing dimensions of honesty, fairness, transparency, and moral consistency. Integrity shapes effective leadership practices through four pathways: fairness and moral consistency, moral exemplary, building trust, and creating a positive school culture. Cross-country studies prove that principal integrity significantly influences teacher trust, work motivation, organizational citizenship behavior, and overall school quality.
