Abstract

The basis of the study is the idea that corporate social responsibility, or CSR, suggests that doing this kind of activity will help the company by establishing its reputation and generating positive community feedback. The purpose of the study is to determine how a company's financial performance is impacted by its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). This report includes research conducted in China, India, Indonesia, and Pakistan. This research indicates that Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities lead to continual performance improvement. Using a meta-analysis methodology, this study investigates the connection between financial success and corporate social responsibility (CSR). Based on theoretical assertions and real facts from the literature, ascertain whether there is a favorable association between financial performance and corporate social responsibility (CSR). If the research results are specified correctly, researchers find that although Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) does not have much positive impact on short-term financial performance, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) offers extraordinary long-term fiscal benefits.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the relationship between macro fundamental analysis, capital structure, and company value by considering management policies, financial performance, and characteristics of financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research method used includes analysis of historical data of financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange within a certain time period. In this research, the variables observed include macroeconomic factors that influence the financial industry, company capital structure, company value as reflected in share prices, implemented management policies, company financial performance, and special characteristics of financial companies. The results of the analysis show that there is a signitifikancant relationship between macro fundamental analysis, capital structure and company value. Macroeconomic factors such as inflation, interest rates, and economic growth have a signitifikancant impact on a company's financial performance. Apart from that, effective management policies have also been proven to influence company value and better financial performance. This research provides valuable insights for investors, financial managers and capital market regulators to understand the factors that influence company value in the context of macro fundamental analysis and capital structure.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of factors such as macroeconomic conditions, capital structure, ownership structure, financial performance and company characteristics on company value in the context of metal companies in Indonesia. Good Corporate Governance (GCG) is also included as a moderating variable. Through a quantitative approach, this research provides in-depth insight into the factors that influence company value, with the hope that the results can provide guidance for corporate decision makers, regulators, investors and researchers to increase the value of metal companies in the Indonesian capital market. A good company value assessment is reflected in the high share price, which is a positive signal for potential investors. Good Corporate Governance (GCG) is considered a structure that regulates relationships between various parties in a company. The research hypothesis shows that factors such as Macro Fundamentals, Capital Structure, Ownership Structure, Financial Performance and Company Characteristics can influence Company Value. The research method used is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The test results show that not all factors have a significant influence on Company Value.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of macro fundamentals and ownership structure on firm value with company characteristics, financial performance, and capital structure as intervening variables in real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2023. Using quantitative methods, this study analyzed the financial statements of 3 companies selected through purposive sampling from a population of 84 real estate companies. The results showed that macro fundamentals have a significant effect on capital structure, but no significant effect on financial performance, company characteristics, and firm value. Ownership structure has a significant effect on capital structure, but has no significant effect on firm value, firm characteristics, and financial performance. Firm characteristics and capital structure have a significant effect on firm value, while financial performance has no significant effect. Of the 11 hypotheses proposed, only 3 are accepted. This finding indicates that in the real estate companies studied, firm characteristics and capital structure have a more significant influence on firm value than other factors. This study provides new insights into the factors that influence firm value in the real estate industry in Indonesia and can be a consideration for stakeholders in making decisions related to investment and management of companies in this sector.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of macro and micro fundamental variables, ownership structure, and capital structure on financial performance and firm value in the banking sector-listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The method applied is panel regression analysis by utilizing secondary data from 2019 to 2023. The independent variables studied include Non-Performing-Loans (NPL), Financing-to Deposit-Ratio (FZ), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), inflation, GDP, and exchange rate as macro- and micro-fundamental indicators. Ownership structure variables, such as institutional and individual ownership, and capital structure variables such as Debt-to Asset-Ratio (DAR), Debt-to-Equity Ratio (DER), and Long-Term Debt-to Equity-Ratio (LDER) is also included in this analysis. The results showed that macro fundamental factors such as NPL, FZ, and LDR have a positive and significant influence on banking financial performance, as measured by Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO). However, their effect on firm value, as measured by Price-to Book-Value (PBV), Price-to-Earnings-Ratio (PER), and stock price, is not significant. In contrast, micro fundamental factors such as inflation, GDP, and exchange rates have a positive and significant impact on financial performance, but a negative and significant impact on firm value. In addition, institutional and individual ownership structures, as well as the firm's capital structure, also affect financial performance and firm value in different ways. This study emphasizes the importance of managing macroeconomic and microeconomic conditions for banking firms to improve financial performance and firm value in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

In this study, the authors used auditor opinion as a moderating variable to test the effect of macro fundamentals, ownership structure and profitability on firm value. The findings tell us that macro fundamentals work positively and significantly on profitability but have no effect on firm value. Auditor opinion has no significant effect on the value of a company. Ownership structure has no significant effect on the value of a firm as well as profitability. Auditor opinion has no moderating effect on the relationship between macro fundamentals, ownership structure, profitability and firm value. This study provides insight into the relationship between these variables and their impact on firm valuation.

Abstract

CSR, short for Corporate Social Responsibility, is a concept in which companies consider the social and environmental impact of their business activities. The main principle of CSR is that companies have a responsibility to contribute positively to the society and environment around them. This includes various initiatives such as philanthropy, sustainability programs, and engagement in social issues. By implementing CSR, companies can strengthen relationships with stakeholders, enhance brand image, and create long-term positive impacts. One of the key benefits of CSR is its ability to enhance a company's reputation. By committing to responsible business practices, companies can build trust with consumers, investors, and the wider community. This can lead to long-term benefits by fostering customer loyalty, attracting investments, and reducing reputation risks. Additionally, CSR can help companies comply with increasingly stringent regulations related to environmental and social issues. The implementation of CSR can also provide internal benefits to companies. By encouraging employees to engage in social and environmental activities, companies can enhance employee satisfaction and engagement. This can have a positive impact on productivity, employee retention, and the company's image as a good place to work. Furthermore, through CSR programs, companies can expand their business networks, create collaboration opportunities, and broaden their positive impact. Despite the various benefits of implementing CSR, challenges may arise in its implementation. Companies need to manage resources wisely, measure the impact of CSR initiatives, and ensure consistency with the company's values and goals. Additionally, companies need to be transparent in reporting their CSR activities to build trust with stakeholders. Abstract

The industrial world and businesses are developing at a very fast pace, which makes competition fierce. This study aims to analyze the macro influence of capital structure on corporate value in food and beverage companies, by considering ownership structure, profit management, and financial performance as intervening variables. The results of the study show that the macro capital structure has a significant effect on the value of companies in food and beverage companies. In addition, ownership structure, profit management, and financial performance also play a role as intervening variables that affect the relationship between the macro capital structure with the company's value. The implication of this study is the importance of paying attention to these factors in optimizing the company's value in the food and beverage sector.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the impact of Macro Fundamentals, Ownership Structure, Micro Fundamentals on Company Value with Profit Management, Financial Performance and Company Profile as Intervening Variables in Property and Real Estate Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2023 Period. This study applies quantitative methods and applies secondary data obtained from the observation of the annual reports of Property and Real Estate Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2023 period through the Company's www.idx.co.id and internet pages. The samples used were 6 Property and Real Estate Companies which were taken by applying a purposive sampling approach, then processed to apply the Smart-PLS version 4 application. The findings of this study say that Macro Fundamentals, Micro Fundamentals and Ownership Structure do not have a significant impact on the Company's Profile. Then Macro Fundmental, Micro Fundamentals, Ownership Structure, Company Profile and Profit Management do not have a significant impact on Financial Performance. Furthermore, Macro Fundamentals, Micro Fundamentals and Ownership Structure do not have a significant impact on Profit Management. Then Micro Fundamentals, Company Profile, Financial Performance, Profit Management and Ownership Structure do not have a significant impact on Company Value, while Macro Fundamentals have a significant impact on Company Value.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the relationship between macro fundamental variability, ownership structure to financial performance with capital structure and company characteristics as an intervention in the plastics & packaging sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The study population was in 14 companies in the plastic & packaging sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data was analyzed using SmarPLS4 software. The test results show that all hypotheses are rejected which shows that there is no significant influence on the 5% level with a t-table of 1.960 and accepts the first ownership structure against the capital structure with a t-statistic of 2.045. Second, the ownership structure against the characteristics of the company with a t-statistic of 7,849. Third, the ownership structure on financial performance with t-statistics of 3,694. The fourth characteristic of the company on financial performance with t-statistics of 4,612.
