Abstract

This study aims to analyze the persistence of the middle-income trap in Indonesia through the perspective of Integrated Reality Theory (IRT). Unlike conventional growth approaches that emphasize capital accumulation, IRT integrates five fundamental variables Energy, Information, Entropy, Consciousness, and Evolution into a systemic analytical framework. This research employs a qualitative method with conceptual and comparative analysis approaches. The data used are derived from secondary sources, including the World Bank, Transparency International, and the Asian Productivity Organization. Quantitative data are utilized as empirical illustrations to support the analysis rather than as a basis for causal inference. Indonesia is compared with Vietnam as a country that has demonstrated accelerated productivity growth and more effective economic transformation. The findings indicate that the persistence of the middle-income trap in Indonesia is largely influenced by high systemic entropy, which results in large-scale energy leakage. This condition is further exacerbated by low institutional consciousness and the slow pace of adaptive capacity toward change. These findings imply the need for a shift in policy orientation, from mere economic expansion toward comprehensive structural cleansing and reform.

Abstract

The suboptimal level of patient satisfaction at Tebet Health Center underscores the necessity of enhancing Internal Service Quality (ISQ). This study aims to evaluate the contribution of E-Health (E-Puskesmas) and Primary Service Integration (ILP) toward ISQ and its subsequent impact on employee job satisfaction, while examining the moderating role of Human Resources (HR) competence. Employing a quantitative cross-sectional design, data were gathered from 100 employees through structured questionnaires, observations, and interviews. Data analysis utilized multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The findings reveal that partially, E-Puskesmas ($p$-value = 0.000; $t_{test}$ = 4.409) and ILP ($p$-value = 0.000; $t_{test}$ = 5.747) exert a significant positive influence on ISQ. Simultaneously, both variables significantly enhance ISQ ($F_{test}$ = 31.108). Furthermore, this research identifies that HR competence acts as a significant moderator ($p$-value = 0.000; $t_{test}$ = 5.221), strengthening the relationship between digital transformation, service integration, and internal quality. An improved ISQ is shown to directly increase employee job satisfaction ($p$-value = 0.000; $t_{test}$ = 4.780). In conclusion, the synergy between technological adoption, systemic integration, and personnel competence is vital for optimizing internal performance and employee well-being at Tebet Health Center.

Abstract

The growth of e-commerce in Indonesia has transformed consumer patterns, particularly among students who are active in the digital ecosystem. This study aims to analyze how students interpret and experience consumer behavior in their use of e-commerce, as well as how these consumption practices take shape in their daily lives. The theoretical framework employed includes Social Practice Theory, which views consumption as the result of an interaction between meaning, material, and competence, as well as consumer behavior theory and the concept of impulse buying. This study adopts a qualitative descriptive approach using a case study method among students at the University of 17 August 1945 in Surabaya. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews) with informants selected using purposive sampling, followed by analysis using thematic analysis. The findings indicate that students’ consumption behavior is not uniform but rather diverse and influenced by subjective experiences, digital habits, and interactions with e-commerce features such as discounts, flash sales, and social media exposure. Three consumption patterns were identified: impulsive, moderate, and planned, which are determined by each individual’s self-control and financial management capabilities. This study concludes that consumer behavior is a social practice shaped by the interaction between internal and external factors within the digital ecosystem.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the suboptimal level of taxpayer compliance despite the implementation of digital systems such as e-filing and e-billing. It aims to analyze the effects of e-filing, e-billing, tax literacy, and tax sanctions on taxpayer compliance, with tax awareness as an intervening variable at KPP Pratama Pekalongan. The study employs a quantitative explanatory approach using 300 respondents and analyzes data through PLS-SEM. The results indicate that e-filing, tax literacy, tax sanctions, and tax awareness have a significant positive effect on compliance, while e-billing has no direct effect but becomes significant through tax awareness mediation. The findings suggest that improving compliance requires not only digital system optimization but also strengthening taxpayer literacy and awareness.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of the marketing mix on customers’ credit application decisions at Bank NTT. The background of this research lies in the fluctuation of credit distribution target achievement during 2018–2022, indicating that the growth in debtors was not consistently followed by the attainment of lending targets. The study applies a quantitative cross-sectional design with 175 respondents selected purposively from Bank NTT customers who had applied for credit. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The results show that customers generally perceive Bank NTT’s marketing mix and credit application decisions as good to very good. Partially, product, price, promotion, people, and physical evidence have a positive and significant effect on credit application decisions. In contrast, place and process have a negative and insignificant effect. Simultaneously, the seven dimensions of the marketing mix significantly affect credit application decisions. The model explains 53.1 percent of the variation in credit application decisions. These findings imply that Bank NTT needs to strengthen product competitiveness, pricing transparency, promotional effectiveness, service quality, and physical evidence while improving process efficiency and branch accessibility.

Abstract

Abstract Economic changes, educational policies, and the changing needs of educators along with technological advances and global demands make educational institutions face challenges in creating flexible and responsive educational strategies to improve the quality of education. This study aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the risks for vocational education in achieving its vision and mission. These challenges can be addressed by implementing risk management in several risk categories. The organization identifies the impact criteria and likelihood of risks on a scale of 1-5, conducts risk input, obtains risk matrices and priorities, creates a risk appetite report, conducts risk management actions, and reports on risk monitoring. The results of the initial risk level with residual risk indicate a decrease in the risk level. The conclusion is that the implementation of risk management can control existing risks due to the mitigation carried out. There are three high risks after risk management becomes moderate risk, low risk and enters the risk appetite and risk tolerance categories.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality and online customer reviews on repurchase intention, with customer trust as a mediating variable, among consumers of Somethinc products in Madiun City. The research employs a quantitative approach grounded in the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) framework and Relationship Marketing Theory. Data were collected via online questionnaires from 102 respondents selected through purposive sampling and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). To ensure robust findings, Common Method Bias (CMB) was controlled using Harman’s single-factor test. The results indicate that product quality and online customer reviews have a positive and significant effect on customer trust and repurchase intention. Customer trust acts as a partial mediator and emerges as the most dominant variable driving repurchase intention. The omission of the controversial Goodness-of-Fit (GoF) metric is replaced by stringent Heterotrait-Monotrait (HTMT) discriminant validity reporting to ensure construct distinctiveness. Abstract

The impact of digitalization has brought significant changes to human resource management and human resources management (HRM). This study focuses on the paradox of digital transformation, a situation where technological advances and Artificial Intelligence offer high efficiency, but success remains highly dependent on human resource readiness. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method. The results of the study indicate that the failure of digital transformation is not solely caused by technological limitations, but rather by the low cognitive, psychological, and work culture readiness of human resources. The rapid management of the latest technology in the form of AI and digitalization will offer significant efficiency and convenience. However, successful implementation is highly dependent on human resource readiness. This phenomenon shows that failure in the digital era is not only caused by technological limitations, but also by the unpreparedness of human resources to adapt (Davenport & Westerman, 2018). This study contributes by identifying the paradox between technological advances and human resource readiness in digital transformation.

Abstract

Digitalisasi koperasi menjadi salah satu strategi transformasi ekonomi menuju Indonesia Emas 2045 sebagaimana diamanatkan dalam Peraturan Presiden Nomor 8 Tahun 2023 tentang Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Nasional 2020–2024 dan Roadmap Digitalisasi Koperasi 2021–2024. Namun, penerapan kebijakan ini mengatasi gangguan spasial yang signifikan antara wilayah perkotaan dan pedesaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan tinjauan literatur sistematik untuk menganalisis 28 artikel terindeks Scopus dan dokumen kebijakan resmi periode 2020–2025. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa penetrasi digitalisasi koperasi ditampilkan di wilayah Jawa dengan capaian jauh lebih tinggi dibandingkan wilayah Indonesia Timur; Tiga hambatan utama menghambat transformasi di kekacauan: kesenjangan infrastruktur digital antarwilayah, rendahnya literasi teknologi pada kelompok usia lanjut, dan ketidaksesuaian desain platform dengan praktik ekonomi lokal berbasis gotong royong. Model tata kelola kolaboratif yang melibatkan pemerintah desa, koperasi, dan penyedia teknologi lokal terbukti meningkatkan adopsi teknologi sebagaimana terdokumentasi dalam studi kualitatif terkini. Penelitian merekomendasikan integrasi kebijakan digitalisasi koperasi dengan program Penguatan Desa melalui pendampingan berbasis komunitas dan platform pengembangan yang mempertimbangkan konteks sosial budaya lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan systematic literature review untuk menganalisis 28 artikel terindeks Scopus dan dokumen kebijakan resmi periode 2020–2025. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa penetrasi digitalisasi koperasi terkonsentrasi di wilayah Jawa dengan capaian jauh lebih tinggi dibandingkan wilayah Indonesia Timur; tiga bottleneck utama menghambat transformasi di pedesaan: kesenjangan infrastruktur digital antarwilayah, rendahnya literasi teknologi pada kelompok usia lanjut, dan ketidaksesuaian desain platform dengan praktik ekonomi lokal berbasis gotong royong. Model tata kelola kolaboratif yang melibatkan pemerintah desa, koperasi, dan penyedia teknologi lokal terbukti meningkatkan keberlanjutan adopsi teknologi sebagaimana terdokumentasi dalam studi kualitatif terkini. Penelitian merekomendasikan integrasi kebijakan digitalisasi koperasi dengan program Penguatan Desa melalui pendampingan berbasis komunitas dan pengembangan platform yang mempertimbangkan konteks sosial budaya lokal.

Abstract

Cooperatives play a strategic role in improving the welfare of their members through business management based on the principles of family and economic democracy. However, many cooperatives still face obstacles in implementing accounting, particularly in recording transactions and preparing systematic financial reports, including the Consumer Cooperative of KopWil 7 in Surabaya. This is due to the limited understanding of cooperative accounting by the management and the suboptimal financial recording and reporting system. This community service activity aims to improve the competence of cooperative management and members in financial management through training and mentoring on cooperative accounting. The implementation method uses a participatory approach that includes needs identification, training, report preparation assistance, and evaluation of training and mentoring. The material provided covers basic cooperative accounting concepts, recording financial transactions, cash management, and preparing simple financial reports. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of cooperative accounting principles, their ability to systematically record transactions, and their skills in preparing simple financial reports. In addition, the management began implementing a more structured recording system so that financial information becomes more transparent and accountable. This activity makes a positive contribution to improving cooperative financial governance, supporting more appropriate decision-making, and strengthening the sustainability of cooperative businesses. Therefore, cooperative accounting training and mentoring can be an effective strategy in increasing the financial management capacity and accountability of cooperative organizations.
