Today, people are increasingly going digital. Even though the technology of now our day is rapidly growing at speed of light, but schools have not kept pace with these developments. In fact, the school management information system has transitioned school administration and management from paper-based into a digital platform. The present study aims to highlight the significance of digital transformation in schools to overcome academic and managerial problems. Additionally, it will examine several digital management systems that are practiced along with their challenges. For this reason, the literature study method was employed to display various models of management information systems at different educational levels in Indonesia. The results of the analysis reveal that the use of management information systems provides many benefits. There are numbers of factors to consider when selecting the management information system in schools, reflecting a range of system models in operation. Each implemented system leaves specific challenges that require prompt evaluation in order maximize advantages and reduce difficulties. Based on this analysis, it can be deduced that digital advancement offers opportunities for major improvements in the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of education that can help the decision-making process faster and more accurately. Therefore, it is important to establish proper policies and infrastructure, as well as to ensure that staff, teachers, and students are digitally literate, in order to strengthen educational performance and equip the next generation to face the challenges of the rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Violence in elementary schools has emerged as a critical national concern requiring systematic policy responses. Indonesia's Ministerial Regulation No. 46 of 2023 established School Violence Prevention and Handling Teams (TPPK) to create safe learning environments, yet implementation challenges persist across educational settings. This study analyzed TPPK policy implementation in Indonesian elementary schools using Edwards III's four-dimensional framework (communication, resources, disposition, bureaucratic structure) and examined local wisdom integration as a complementary violence prevention strategy. A systematic reflective literature review was conducted, synthesizing peer-reviewed journals, government regulations, and policy reports published primarily within 2019-2025. Content analysis employed Edwards III's theoretical dimensions to identify implementation patterns, challenges, and the role of cultural values. Findings revealed persistent implementation gaps attributable to inconsistent communication failing to build shared understanding, insufficient resource allocation constraining implementer capacity, dispositional orientations prioritizing compliance over commitment, and predominantly administrative bureaucratic structures. However, integration of Indonesian cultural values—gotong royong (mutual cooperation), tepa selira (empathetic respect), and musyawarah (deliberation)—demonstrated significant potential to strengthen implementer disposition and enhance policy effectiveness by fostering empathy and moral commitment. Effective TPPK implementation requires alignment across Edwards III's four dimensions, strengthened through cultural integration that transforms formal policies into contextually meaningful practices. Local wisdom functions as a mediating dimension permeating structural variables, suggesting that universal implementation theories require cultural adaptation across diverse sociocultural contexts to create safe, inclusive elementary school environments.

School branding is a strategic aspect in strengthening reputation, attracting prospective students, and building public trust in the quality of educational institutions. In the digital era, the role of school public relations is increasingly crucial for systematically managing communication and school identity through social media. This study aims to examine how to optimize public relations management to build school branding through social media. Using a qualitative case study design, research was conducted in elementary schools as a representative sample of private schools that actively use social media. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews with public relations staff, principals, teachers, and students' parents/guardians; observation of the school's social media content; and documentation of posts and public interactions. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction, thematic categorization, and interpretation to find patterns of digital branding strategies. The results show that a planned, consistent, and responsive public relations strategy for digital dynamics, including involving students and teachers as content creators, can increase visibility and engagement and build a positive image of the school. The most dominant and effective platforms in building branding are Instagram and TikTok, followed by Facebook and YouTube. Social media-based public relations management is a strategic need for school branding in the digital era.

The ever-changing digital world impacts processes of learning. This study explores the possible school administration roles in digital technologies integration while maintaining values in the 5.0 Industrial Revolution period. Using a qualitative approach, the author employs a literature review and interviews a few school administrators to collect and analyze the data and information pertaining to the acquisition of technology, the training and education of teachers, and the resolution of problems relating to the technology, the equipment, the teaching resources, and the technological infrastructure. The data reveals that school administrators should be proactive in the areas of technology management, the systematization of structures and processes, the organization of administrative training and educational activities, and the creation of a school environment that emphasizes innovative technology. To be effective, educational systems, and the values that guide them, must evolve. The author asserts that in order to digital transformation in education sustain, cross-sector partnerships must be made to elaborate imbalanced access to technology and systems of data-drive evaluation to all stakeholders.

Principal leadership is widely recognized as a crucial factor in determining the quality of teacher performance in schools. Numerous studies have examined the relationship between leadership styles and teacher performance; however, empirical evidence in developing regions and newly transforming areas remains limited. In particular, there is still a lack of empirical studies investigating transformational leadership in schools located in regions undergoing rapid socio-educational transformation, such as Penajam Paser Utara Regency in East Kalimantan, which serves as a buffer area for Indonesia’s new capital city (IKN). This study aims to examine the effect of transformational leadership of school principals on the performance of junior high school teachers in Penajam Paser Utara Regency. The research employed a quantitative approach with a causal ex post facto design. The sample consisted of 253 teachers selected through stratified cluster random sampling from a population of 520 teachers. Data were collected using a four-point Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, and were analyzed using simple linear regression with SPSS version 22. The results indicate that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, with a significance value below 0.05. These findings suggest that the more effectively principals implement transformational leadership practices, the higher the level of teacher performance.

This study aims to describe the role of the Fun Math Adventure media in developing early childhood numeracy and problem-solving skills through a phenomenological qualitative approach. Data were collected through participatory observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The credibility of the data was strengthened through technique triangulation and member checking with teachers to ensure the consistency and accuracy of the findings. The results indicate that Fun Math Adventure enhances children’s focus, persistence, and engagement in numeracy activities, while also encouraging the emergence of independent problem-solving strategies. The digital environment further enriches social interactions by facilitating collaborative discussions and shared exploration among children. In addition, the use of this media provides teachers with opportunities to design more adaptive, varied, and child-centered learning experiences. The study contributes new insights into the effective integration of play-based learning and digital media in early childhood education, and offers practical implications for teachers implementing the Merdeka Curriculum.

Background: The rapid transformation of education in the Society 5.0 era requires teachers to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into pedagogical practices while maintaining professional and ethical standards. In Mojokerto’s Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools (SDIT), teachers face challenges such as digital anxiety, administrative burdens, and limited managerial support, which hinder their ability to adapt to AI-driven learning environments. Purpose: This study investigates the influence of AI literacy, coaching, and work motivation on teacher professionalism in SDIT schools across Mojokerto, both individually and collectively Method: Employing a quantitative causal design, the research involved 114 SDIT teachers selected through total sampling. Data were collected using validated Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed with multiple linear regression via SPSS, supported by classical assumption tests to ensure model reliability. Findings: Results demonstrate that AI literacy, coaching, and work motivation significantly and simultaneously affect teacher professionalism (F-value = 28.452; Sig < 0.001). Among these, work motivation emerged as the most dominant predictor. The findings underscore the necessity of a holistic approach that combines technological proficiency, managerial empowerment through coaching, and psychological reinforcement via motivation to enhance teacher professionalism in Islamic elementary education.

Background: Collaboration between schools and parents is a key factor in the success of children’s education. However, its implementation still faces challenges such as low parental involvement, high expectations placed on schools, and limited adjustment of programs to family characteristics. Purpose: This study aims to analyze the management of the Sekolah Orang Tua Hebat (SOBAT) program in strengthening school–parent collaboration at SMPN 1 Singojuruh, Banyuwangi, with a focus on the functions of planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling (POAC). Method: The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design conducted over a 4-month period at SMPN 1 Singojuruh, Banyuwangi. Five research informants (1 principal, 2 facilitators, 2 parents) were selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, then analyzed interactively using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model involving data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation, method triangulation, member checking, and prolonged engagement with informants. Findings: The results indicate that program planning was carried out participatively by involving the Education Office, school principals, teachers, and parents, while considering flexible scheduling according to families’ socio-economic conditions. Program organization was characterized by adaptive structures, clear task distribution, and intensive facilitator training. Implementation applied the DEF method (Dialogue, Education, Facilitation) and 16 comprehensive parenting modules, enabling peer learning and empowering parents as learning resources. Program control was conducted participatively through direct observation, periodic questionnaires, and parental involvement in evaluation. The study concludes that the integrated application of POAC functions strengthens school–parent collaboration, increases family involvement in children’s education, and supports alignment of parenting patterns between schools and families.

Intangible cultural heritage (ICH) requires sustainable pathways of transmission, yet the educational role of art education in supporting ICH safeguarding in secondary technical and vocational colleges remains insufficiently clarified. This study aims to examine how students perceive the role of art education in safeguarding ICH within a vocational college context. A quantitative, descriptive, exploratory survey was conducted using a 30-item questionnaire on a five-point Likert scale, administered to 36 students from Guangdong Huali Technician College. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Cronbach’s alpha. The overall mean score was 4.124 (SD = 0.767), with acceptable internal consistency for the overall instrument (alpha = 0.749), indicating generally positive student perceptions. At the dimension level, the highest mean score was observed for Pathways: Curriculum and Faculty (4.256), followed by Role of Art Education (4.214), while ICH Status and Challenges recorded the lowest, though still positive, mean (4.006). The highest item-level support concerned regularly inviting ICH inheritors for teaching and practice, whereas comparatively lower agreement was observed across several challenge- and integration-related items. Overall, the findings suggest that students perceive art education as a meaningful pathway for safeguarding ICH, particularly through curriculum integration, pedagogical support, and practice-based cultural engagement. However, the evidence should be interpreted as preliminary and perception-based, since the study draws on student responses from a single institutional setting rather than direct observation of educational practice or safeguarding outcomes.

The development of digital technology requires teachers to be able to adapt to change and innovate in the learning process. However, the results of the preliminary study indicate that most teachers at MTs Miftahul Ulum Kemlagi still have limitations in developing digital-based interactive learning media. This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to improve teachers' competence in designing interactive learning media using Canva for Education. The activity was conducted on June 19, 2025 involving 25 teachers through a participatory training approach that includes lectures, interactive discussions, demonstrations, hands-on practice, mentoring, and evaluation. Data were obtained through a participant satisfaction questionnaire containing 15 items with a 4-point Likert scale, which had been tested for validity (r > 0.396) and reliability (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.937). The results show that the training was rated very satisfactory with an average satisfaction level of 92,9%, with the highest indicators being the desire to attend advanced training (96%) and its usefulness in improving teacher competence (94%). The activity received positive responses and contributed to improving teachers' competence in developing interactive learning media.
