Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Lekok District are now the primary target of a community service program focused on strengthening legal compliance and promotional ethics. This program specifically provides counseling on consumer protection laws and ethical digital marketing communication procedures. Business expansion through social media requires the application of the principles of information transparency, honesty, and product authenticity to safeguard consumer rights while building a trusted brand image, as stipulated in consumer protection regulations. This program utilizes several stages of methods, ranging from legal literacy education on the rights and obligations of business actors, legal risk assessments of misleading advertising practices, to direct guidance in formulating ethical promotional strategies. The final evaluation of the program showed an increase in business actors' awareness of their legal responsibilities for the goods and services they offer to the public. Through these efforts, it is hoped that the capacity of MSMEs in Lekok District will further increase, enabling them to have strong competitiveness based on legal compliance and order in business.

Abstract

Students from Sunan Giri University in Surabaya held a community service event on December 20, 2025. They organized an environmental cleanup and taught people how to use separate trash bins for different types of waste. The reason for this event was because people still didn't understand enough about keeping things clean and properly sorting trash. The activity used the Asset Based Community Development method, which means they worked with the community and used their strengths and involvement. During the event, the community helped clean up and learned about organic, inorganic, and B3 waste through easy-to-understand materials such as pamphlets and posters. The posters explained how to sort trash in a simple way that people could follow. The community was very active and happy to take part. The results were a cleaner environment and more people knowing how to sort their trash properly. This event also brought the students and local residents closer together. The hope is that this activity will help the community keep their area clean and take care of the environment on their own for the future.

Abstract

This research discusses the dissolution of limited liability companies due to reasons of public interest and the role of the Prosecutor's Office in such a mechanism based on Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies. The main focus of the research is to analyze the juridical foundation of the existence of limited liability companies and the principle of public interest, the criteria of public interest in the dissolution of limited liability companies, the authority of the Prosecutor's Office in the civil field and the dissolution filing mechanism, as well as the relationship between corporate criminal liability and the dissolution of limited liability companies. This normative legal research uses statutory, conceptual, and comparative approaches with primary and secondary legal materials analyzed qualitatively through grammatical and systematic interpretation. The results of the research indicate that the ambiguity of public interest criteria in the Limited Liability Company Law creates legal uncertainty and has the potential to cause abuse of authority. The authority of the Prosecutor's Office as a state attorney is limited and must be based on a special power of attorney from the government. Corporate criminal liability has a relationship with the dissolution of limited liability companies but requires more integrated regulation. This research recommends the formulation of clearer public interest parameters and the strengthening of control mechanisms in filing for the dissolution of limited liability companies.

Abstract

The development of Wonorejo Village, Rungkut District, has not been fully followed by the provision of basic infrastructure and adequate environmental management, resulting in various problems, such as declining roads, clogged drainage channels, wild vegetation growth, and low community participation in environmental maintenance activities. This community service activity aims to increase community participation through collaboration with volunteers in an effort to improve the quality of the residential environment. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR) combined with SWOT analysis through the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of the activity show an increase in environmental quality as indicated by the reopening of road access, improved drainage function, and increased cleanliness of the residential area.   Perkembangan Kelurahan Wonorejo Kecamatan Rungkut belum sepenuhnya diikuti oleh penyediaan infrastruktur dasar dan pengelolaan lingkungan yang memadai sehingga memunculkan berbagai permasalahan, seperti jalan yang mengalami penurunan, saluran drainase yang tersumbat, pertumbuhan vegetasi liar, serta rendahnya partisipasi masyarakat dalam kegiatan perawatan lingkungan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan partisipasi warga melalui kolaborasi dengan relawan dalam upaya memperbaiki kualitas lingkungan permukiman. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang dipadukan dengan analisis SWOT melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kualitas lingkungan yang ditandai dengan terbukanya kembali akses jalan, membaiknya fungsi drainase, serta meningkatnya kebersihan kawasan permukiman.

Abstract

Community Service Program (KKN) is an implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education that provides opportunities for students to apply knowledge and skills to the community. This community service activity was carried out in Taman District, Sidoarjo Regency, through the distribution of basic food aid as a strategy to improve welfare and foster social awareness for underprivileged residents. The distribution of basic food aid was given to registered residents after Friday prayers. The implementation method included observation and planning stages, activity implementation, monitoring, and final evaluation. The target of the activity focused on underprivileged families as recipients of logistical assistance. This program had a positive impact in the form of ensuring the effectiveness of food aid distribution, establishing closer social relationships between residents, and reducing the burden of daily basic needs for those in need.   Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) merupakan penerapan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi yang memberikan peluang bagi mahasiswa untuk menerapkan ilmu pengetahuan serta keterampilan kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Taman, Kabupaten Sidoarjo, melalui distribusi bantuan sembako sebagai strategi peningkatan kesejahteraan dan penumbuhan kepedulian sosial terhadap warga kurang mampu. Pembagian sembako diberikan kepada warga yang telah terdata setelah pelaksanaan salat Jumat. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tahap observasi dan perencanaan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, monitoring, serta evaluasi akhir. Sasaran kegiatan difokuskan pada keluarga kurang mampu sebagai penerima bantuan logistik. Program ini memberikan dampak positif berupa terjaminnya efektivitas penyaluran bantuan pangan, terjalinnya hubungan sosial yang lebih erat antarwarga, serta berkurangnya beban kebutuhan pokok harian bagi masyarakat yang membutuhkan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the legal basis or legal considerations of the panel of judges in deciding Civil Case Number 29/Pdt.G/2023/PN.Mjk. To find out these problems, the author uses Normative Research methods, legislative approaches, scientific journals, court decisions, with Library data collection techniques, and descriptive and qualitative analysis.The result of the author's analysis is that he disagrees with the judge's consideration in deciding the case, with considerations including the existence of procedures or conditions for the legal acquisition of sale and purchase of land based on Legislation, as well as the existence of a Supreme Court Circular Letter governing Good Faith Buyers, and the absence of strict regulations governing legal protection for good faith buyers, causing multiple interpretations of existing rules and resulting in different court decisions even in the same type of case.

Abstract

This research discusses the legal protection of copyright with a focus on the criminal act of digital content piracy in Indonesia. Using normative legal research methods, this study highlights criminal penalties, the concept of restitution, and the impact of digital technology on copyright infringement. Primarily, the research explores the legal response to movie, music, and software piracy, detailing the criminal penalties provided for in Law Number 28 of 2014 on Copyright. In the context of digital technology, the research examines the role of technology in enhancing and challenging law enforcement against copyright infringement. The research conclusion emphasizes the importance of adaptive regulation, educational campaigns, and cross-sector collaboration, supported by the utilization of technology to enhance the effectiveness of law enforcement.
