Abstract

This research is generally to find out about community empowerment in establishing entrepreneurial behavior in PKBM Bina Mandiri Cipageran, Cimahi City and PKBM Bina Warga Ciparay, Bandung Regency. Specifically, it is to know the stages of community empowerment, including: (1) preparation stage,(2) assessment stage, (3) alternative program planning stage, (4) action plan formulation stage, (5) implementation stage, (6) stage evaluation and monitoring, and (7) the termination stage. The method used is a descriptive method with qualitative data types. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that in general both PKBM have empowered the community as the target community quite effectively, being more empowered, both cognitively, affectively, psychomotorically and independently with their entrepreneurial behavior. Specifically, the stages of empowerment are in accordance with the stages, including: (1) preparations carried out by preparing officers and field preparations; (2) assessment, namely by identifying the problems of the target community that have the potential to become learning citizens; (3) planning alternative programs, namely facilitating learning residents in determining the right choice of learning programs to overcome problems; (4) formulation of action plans, namely by determining learning times, recruiting target communities, providing program information; (5) implementation, namely program implementation, which begins with socialization, implementation, identification of results, supporting and inhibiting factors, their contribution to the formation of entrepreneurial behavior and their impact on increasing income and welfare; (6) evaluation, through program evaluation and monitoring; and (7) termination or continuation of the program, namely by providing guidance and assistance to learning residents who have completed the Business Study Group program. These stages have been carried out by the two PKBMs in the implementation of learning programs and community empowerment in shaping entrepreneurial behavior.

Abstract

Strategy Human Resource development at the level of middle management important companies in the era disrupsi this. The development of human resources in the middle-management level is performed to form a personal quality skills, ability to work, and loyalty in the company. Strategy human resource development at the level of middle management can be done with many ways to develop it. Some of the strategies that can be learned by companies in developing and find the human resources in the middle-management level needed one of them through a training program that is hardwired. Training is carried out by developing individual in the form of increased skills, knowledge and attitude. Training is not only useful for employees, but also the company. In order to improve managerial ability, especially on the line of middle management in the company in need of improvement and continuous human resource development in order to create synergy and teamwork company. That the development and competition of the current human resources to be a major factor in the success in winning the competition. The ability and capacity of middle management will be different from one company to another. The critical point of the growth of the company existing on the capacity and capability of middle management.Thus, the need training programs applicable and integrated for the development of human resources in the middle-management level that exists as one of the main assets to a company that everlasting growth. This Program must be supported by all parties corporate executives for the achievement of the vision, mission and goals of the organization. Human resource development at the level of middle management is done through training to improve the ability of the performance of the personal there. The form of the development of human resources in the middle-management level can be done in formal or non-formal for their careers. Every human resources at the level of middle management need training to overcome various problems in their work by teaching steps and the right way.

Abstract

Empowerment of PAI Supervisors through the Supervisory Working Group (Research on PAI Pokjawas West Java Province). The research problem starts from the strategic position of Pokjawas as a supervisory organization for PAI supervisors but, on the one hand, shows the low competence of PAI supervisors and the lack of competency development by the authorities. That became the foundation of Kindervatter's theory of empowerment. This research aims to explore the implementation of PAI supervisor empowerment through Pokjawas in West Java Province. Specifically, it is to find out the efforts of Pokjawas The results showed that the appointment of PAI supervisors through Pokjawas in the form of (1) developing the potential (enabling) of PAI supervisors indicated by the existence of a supervisory competency development program, developing supervisory resources, building and encouraging the independence of the new supervisors for the most part; (2) building the power (empowering) of PAI supervisors is made by reinforcing to improve the competence of PAI supervisors that are already running, but not yet PAI supervisors are involved in this (3) protecting by fighting for the rights of members so that PAI supervisors feel calm, comfortable and prosperous in carrying out their duties (4) innovating for PAI supervisors by developing supervisory information systems and technology, developing supervisory supervision models, utilizing organizational information media to improve supervisory competence.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of mastering the use of IT as a learning medium. Skill is a skill that is learned by training, in line with regulation Number 74 of 2008. Changing times, the development of science is coupled with the Covid-19 world outbreak, so that it requires teachers to be skilled at using IT media as an effective and efficient learning tool. This study aims to find out the description and description of planning, skills, implementation, barriers, evaluation, from the results of basic level training for PAUD teachers through online learning to improve skills in using learning media. The method used is descriptive method with a qualitative approach and data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. Grand theory of George Tery. The object of research in two schools, namely KB Rumah Bintang and Melati Kota Bandung. Based on the research findings, it was obtained that a) the planning carried out included online media learning training teachers because there were already many online learning media b) teacher skills continued to be improved to create interactive learning with online learning processes c) the implementation of training was very helpful according to relevant needs d) the obstacles in each school are different, the biggest factors are cost and opportunity e) evaluation of efforts to maintain competence and improve teacher performance f) the findings of the training have a very significant impact in terms of knowledge, skills and the application of the online learning process. The conclusion is that the management of PAUD teacher basic level training through online learning to improve the skills of using learning media has a positive and significant contribution.

Abstract

Problems in terms of the curriculum are still found, including in the Diploma Three Study Program. This problem occurs in the dimensions of curriculum implementation, namely the gap between the curriculum as a form of document and the curriculum as a process. This means that the curriculum in the form of a syllabus contained in the standard content document has not been carried out properly in learning activities. This research uses a qualitative approach with case study methods and data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and document studies. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The stages of curriculum implementation in the D III Nursing Study Program, namely: the formulation of curriculum objectives, the basis for curriculum design and development, curriculum organization and structure, learning strategies and methods, professional ability development, scheduling of lecture activities, elements of supporting elements, development systems, evaluation of the curriculum process; (2) Internal constraints include human resources, finance, raw input, learning facilities and strategies. Externally, the policy and development of science is so fast; (3) Solutions to internal obstacles, namely professional development of educators and education staff, effectiveness and efficiency of internal financial sources, optimization of student development through academic supervisory lecturers, procurement of goods according to priority scale. External solutions, namely, intense communication with stakeholders.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia until now has not been able to answer moral inequality. This is because the education system that is schooling focuses on the transfer of knowledge and pays less attention to character education, limited hours of lessons, and the weak implementation of character education in educational institutions. Based on this, a breakthrough is needed to change the behavior of students, one of which is the Implementation of Integrated Quality Management in Islamic boarding schools, which can improve student discipline through training, habituation, and example. The purpose of the study was to determine and analyze the implementation of integrated management of noble character education in improving student discipline. The results of the study, that the quality of character education programs through good educational activities in dormitories or madrasas. The quality of kyai's leadership with charismatic leadership with a colligial collective management approach. Quality of the decision-making process with colligial collectives. Quality evaluation of character education with academic evaluation and parenting. The preserved values ​​of the pesantren are the five souls of the cottage, consisting of the values ​​of sincerity, simplicity, independence, ukhuwah Islamiyah and responsible freedom. The impact of character education is that the discipline character of the students is increased and the students are committed to the values ​​and rules of the pesantren. The Integrated Management-Based Character Education Model used, consists of inputs, processes, outputs and outcomes which are managed using an integrated management typical of Pesantren.

Abstract

The problem of teacher performance is still visible and shows the quality of performance that has not been maximized. This means that not all teachers carry out their main tasks and functions optimally according to the Standards (Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan Nasional Republik Indonesia Nomor 16 Tahun 2007 Tentang Standar Kualifikasi Akademik Dan Kompetensi Guru, 2007). Academic Qualifications and Teacher Competencies, especially in the mastery of pedagogic competence and professional competence. The teacher still uses very simple teaching preparation, has not fully used the prepared RPP curriculum reference, the dominant teacher uses the lecture method. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods supported by primary and secondary data types and data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. The general purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the Implementation of the MA Principal Situational Leadership Style in Improving the Quality of Teacher Performance. The results of this study indicate that the Head of MA has implemented a situational leadership style in improving the quality of teacher performance. This is shown in the ability to explain and direct, offer or give instructions, involve, delegate tasks and obligations that are known from the objectives, substance, process, and results

Abstract

Research is based on the problem of weak educational institutions to display achievements amid the level of competitive competition, relevant, strategy, effective, efficient, productive is very necessary. It’s Analyzes the implementation of BSC in improving the performance of Darul Hikam Foundation and BPI Foundation in Bandung City. Grand Theory is Kaplan and Norton's performance theory, where BSC is a method of comprehensively measuring performance not only limited to financial performance but extends to non-financial performance. The results showed that the Proses preparation of  BSC educational institutions has not been fully implemented, starting from the preparatory stage,  stakeholders involved, reasons in improving the performance of educational institutions, resources, and measures in the preparation of BSC; The BSC concept of several indicators have not been implemented by the description of the BSC concept of the education sector, which includes vision, mission, SWOT analysis, BSC perspective, strategic objectives, strategy map, and Key Performance Indicators (IKU); Implementation of  BSC has not been done well, including socialization, pilot project system, special teams, information and technology (IT), BSC consultants, and steps to implement BSC; The problems facing educational institutions. Educational institutions always strive to prepare a variety of needs to implement BSC, find solutions in dealing with every problem, as well as various obstacles that occur by taking strategic steps; Where to implement BSC if done gradually and arrange will improve the performance of educational institutions.   Abstrak. Penelitian dilatarbelakangi permasalahan lemahnya lembaga pendidikan untuk menampilkan prestasi ditengah tingkat persaingan kompetitif, hingga strategi yang relevan, efektif, efisien, produktif sangat diperlukan. Peneliti menganalisis implementasi BSC dalam meningkatkan kinerja Yayasan Darul Hikam dan Yayasan BPI Kota Bandung. Grand Theory-nya yaitu teori kinerja Kaplan dan Norton, dimana BSC merupakan metode untuk mengukur kinerja secara komprehensif tidak hanya terbatas pada kinerja keuangan, namun meluas pada kinerja non-keuangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Proses penyusunan BSC lembaga pendidikan belum sepenuhnya dilaksanakan, mulai dari tahap persiapan, stakeholders yang terlibat, ragam alasan dalam meningkatkan kinerja lembaga pendidikan, sumber daya, dan langkah-langkah dalam penyusunan BSC; Penjabaran konsep BSC beberapa indikator belum dilaksanakan sesuai dengan penjabaran konsep BSC sektor pendidikan, yang meliputi visi, misi, analisis SWOT, perspektif BSC, tujuan strategis, peta strategi (strategy map), dan Indikator Kinerja Utama (IKU); Implementasi BSC belum dilakukan dengan baik, meliputi sosialisasi, sistem pilot project, tim khusus, informasi dan teknologi (IT), konsultan BSC, dan langkah-langkah menerapkan BSC; Masalah-masalah yang dihadapi lembaga pendidikan. Lembaga pendidikan selalu berusaha untuk mempersiapkan ragam kebutuhan untuk mengimplementasikan BSC, mencari solusi dalam menghadapi setiap permasalahan, serta berbagai kendala yang terjadi dengan melakukan langkah-langkah strategis; Dimana implementasi BSC jika dilakukan secara bertahap dan runtut akan meningkatkan kinerja lembaga pendidikan.

Abstract

The Internal Quality Assurance System at SMP Darul Falah and SMP Negeri 02 Cililin has not been implemented optimally. school quality. The general objective of this study is to describe the implementation of school internal quality assurance in improving school quality and its specific objectives are to describe 1) quality mapping, 2) compilation of quality compliance plans, 3) implementation of quality compliance, 4) quality evaluation. 5) Determination of Quality Standards 6) Results of Quality Implementation 7) Obstacles in implementing SPMI. The implementation of SPMI itself according to Dirjendikdasmen (2016: 5) has the aim of ensuring that all elements, namely organization, policies, and processes related to educational units run by established standards to ensure the creation of a quality culture. This research procedure uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The results of this study, in general, are that schools have implemented the SPMI implementation in improving the quality of schools in particular, namely: (1) Mapping, by carrying out school self-evaluation and school report cards. (2) Planning, schools carry out planning by the planning reference and format. (3) Implementation, the school has implemented SPMI starting at the initial stage, the core stage, and the final stage. (4) The school has carried out the SPMI evaluation by the monev team for each activity. (5) The school has developed a quality strategy for SPMI by the team using the formulation format, (6) The school has shown optimal learning outcomes through the application of SPMI with the satisfaction of various parties, (7) The school has resolved every problem with the right solution application of SPMI. The implementation of SPMI in schools is very helpful in improving the quality of the school, both academically and non-academically.

Abstract

Moral development is the most important thing in education, including in pesantren-based educational institutions. Moral development will be carried out properly if it is carried out in a planned and programmed manner. Moral Development Management for Students Through Extracurricular Activities in Islamic Boarding Schools is one of the best solutions in realizing commendable student morals. This research was conducted to see the extent to which moral development was carried out at Al-Amin Middle School and Al-Ittihad Middle School Cianjur. The theory that forms the basis of the research is the management theory of POAC, TQM, and Six Life Value Systems. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The research findings show that: (1) The management of the moral development program through extracurricular activities is based on the commitment of teachers, parents, and program implementation. (2) The implementation of the moral development program is the most basic principle and serves as a differentiator for the progress and decline of the quality of SMP. This conformity shows that in practice the moral development program through extracurricular activities has not been carried out according to process standards. (3) Evaluation of activities and problems encountered through monitoring and evaluation of the process and achievement of SMP institution development goals. (4) In general, the inhibiting factors in program development, such as curriculum, budget allocation, facilities, and infrastructure. (5) Improvement Efforts, solving problems in quality improvement, one of which is by holding FGD (Focus Group Discussion), workshops, and others.
