Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the thickness of composite boards made from egg cardboard on sound absorption and water absorption. Composite boards are produced by crushing egg cartons with a blender, mixing them with water and tapioca glue to form slurry and then molding them to thicknesses varying from 1, 2, and 3 cm. The sound absorption results were measured using a Sound Level Meter GM1352, while the water absorption capacity was determined using the mass ratio before and after immersion. The results show that the sound absorption capacity of a composite board made from egg cardboard with a thickness of 1 cm is 6.58%, a thickness of 2 cm is 10.87%, and a thickness of 3 cm is 16.05%, while the water absorption capacity of a composite board made from egg cardboard with a thickness 1 cm is 29.41%, 2 cm thickness is 31.43%, and 3 cm thickness is 32.91%. This shows that the greater the thickness of the composite board made from egg cartons used, the greater the sound absorbed. Likewise, with the water absorption test, the results showed that the thicker the composite board made from egg cartons used, the greater the water absorption capacity produced.

Abstract

This research aims to produce Android-based interactive mobile learning with a guided inquiry model of light wave material that is able to improve students' HOTS abilities. This research is a 4D model type research. The research was conducted at MAN 1 Ponorogo, MAN 2 Ponorogo, and SMAN 1 Badegan. The research subjects were 149 class XI MIPA students who gave a pretest-posttest. Student pretest-posttest data were analyzed using 1-way ANOVA to determine the differences in students' HOTS skills in the control and experimental classes. Based on the 1-way ANOVA test, it was found that there were differences in students' HOTS abilities in the two classes. Classes that use Android-based interactive car learning get higher results compared to classes that don't use Android-based interactive car learning.

Abstract

Higher education in Indonesia faces challenges in improving its quality, especially in the post-COVID-19 era and the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) in higher education management and its impact on improving the quality of education in Indonesia. Through a qualitative approach, this study identifies the urgency of higher education management as a determining factor in improving the quality of education and analyzes the development of TQM principles in the context of higher education. Data collection is carried out through relevant literature sourced from google scholar. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of data analysis show that higher education management plays a crucial role in the preparation of a quality workforce and TQM can improve the quality of education services. Factors supporting TQM implementation involve good governance, while inhibiting factors involve bureaucratic constraints and lack of efficiency of public services. Thus, the implementation of TQM needs to pay attention to these aspects to achieve a more substantial improvement in the quality of higher education

Abstract

Distress, in generally followed by psychiatric disorders, it's caused by stressors exposure. Appearance and form of the stressors exposure are met on psychological stressors, physically stressors or mixed stressors. Whereas, still more medicinal practise controversion about psychologically stressors role on holistic health condition. The importance of religion for health can be seen in the definition set forth by the World Health Organization (WHO, 1984), which states that the spiritual aspect is one of the elements of the concept of complete health. From the point of view of mental health, prayer and remembrance of God contain deep psycho-therapeutic elements. This psychoreligious therapy is no less important compared with psychiatric psychotherapy, as it contains spiritual/religious powers which awaken self confidence and optimism (the hope of being cured). These two factors, self confidence and optimism, are two elements essential to curing illness besides medicines and medical treatment administered. Someone who have experienced trauma have difficulty regulating mind-body-spirit functions. Distress, anxiety and depression are outcomes, and its an ongoing process to keep these systems in balance. Modern science and medicine consider human body as merely electro-chemical, electro-mechanical and physical phenomena; human body as the energy system (mind-body-spirit functions).Human energy centers are situated near the key endocrine glands and nerve groups (plexus) that wireless connection to brain and also connection to cosmic universal energy (also called the chakras); while universal cosmic energy (everything is common at atomic level).Developing and applying energy management skills as integration of deep-breathing, meditation, praying and remembrance is vitally important for health maintenance, harmonious relationships, spiritual development, personal transformation and ultimately world peace and a new paradigm.

Abstract

Competition in the songkok (traditional cap) industry in Gresik Regency has become increasingly intense, especially for small enterprises such as UD. Arif Bersaudara, which face challenges in maintaining competitiveness amid changing market trends and consumer preferences. This study aims to analyze effective marketing strategies for UD. Arif Bersaudara by identifying internal and external factors and determining the most appropriate strategic priorities for business development. The research employs the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis to identify strategic factors and the QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) to determine the order of strategic priorities. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 92 respondents and analyzed quantitatively using weighting and attractiveness score calculations. The results show that the total IFE Matrix score is 4.80 and the EFE Matrix score is 4.772, placing UD. Arif Bersaudara in the “Grow and Build” strategic position. Based on the QSPM results, the main priority strategy is to leverage superior product quality, design variations, and size diversity to capture opportunities in digital and international markets, with the highest TAS value of 8.37. The study concludes that UD. Arif Bersaudara should focus its strategy on improving product quality and implementing digital marketing to strengthen competitiveness. The strength of this research lies in the application of the combined SWOT–QSPM methods, which provide measurable analytical results, while its limitation lies in the relatively small and region-specific number of respondents. Future research is recommended to expand respondent coverage and incorporate digital marketing–based analysis to make MSME marketing strategies more adaptive to technological developments.

Abstract

Pembinaan olahraga merupakan sebuah tahap penting dalam mencapai prestasi olahraga. Namun banyak olahraga yang kurang memperhatikan hal ini, sehingga tidak dapat bersaing dalam hal prestasi maupun keberlangsungan latihan tidak terencana dengan baik, sistematis dan bertahan lama. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana manajemen pembinaan prestasi olahraga di sekolah khusus. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriftif. Alat penelitian yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data yang dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber untuk penelitian ini adalah analisis isi dan metode penelitian yang terkait sebelumnya. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan manajemen pembinaan prestasi olahraga melalui perencanaan program pemassalan prestasi olahraga sudah dilakukan sejak dini. Pengorganisasian program pembinaan prestasi olahraga dilakukan pengorganisasian sebelum pelaksanaan pembinaan melalui pembentukan panitia. Pelaksanaan pemilihan atlit berbakat dan pembinaan prestasi atlit berkelanjutan di Sekolah Khusus dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu pemassalan, pembibitan, pembinaan dan pasca adolesensi. Dalam hal pengawasan, sekolah melibatkan lembaga Dinas Pendidikan Pemuda dan Olahraga dalam hal pengawasan baik akademik dan non akademik yang bekerjasama dengan dinas pendidikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model pembelajaran daring dalam meningkatkan kreativitas dan inisiatif guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran di rumah di SMA Negeri 14 Samarinda. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu penelitian tindakan sekolah (PTS). Penelitian diadakan di SMA Negeri 14 Samarinda pada tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 di masa pandemi Covid-19. Subjek penelitian adalah 15 orang guru. Obyek penelitian adalah pembelajaran di rumah melalui pembelajaran daring/online dimasa pademi covid-19. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan dokumentasi serta dianalisi secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran daring dapat mengatasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran di masa pademi covid 19 melalui kreatifitas dan inisiatif guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran di rumah. Kreatifitas guru mengalami peningkatan dalam hal ketepatan waktu sebesar 9%, penyusunan program pembelajaran baru sebesar 14%, menghasilkan ide – ide baru sebesar 9%, menghasilkan gagasan baru sebesar 9% dan kepribadian yang dimiliki guru meningkat sebesar 11% dari siklus I ke siklus II. Setelah ada Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah (PTS) ini tingkat kreativitas dan inisiatif guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran dirumah, pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan lancar dan proses pembelajaran daring menjadi efektif.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has created a demand for communication media that are not only fast but also engaging and easy to understand. One potential medium is three-dimensional (3D) animation, which can deliver messages in a more visual, interactive, and attractive manner. This study aims to design and develop a 3D animation as both an informational and promotional medium for STMIK Palangka Raya. The research employed observation, literature review, and interviews using questionnaires with prospective audiences to evaluate the effectiveness of the developed media. The production process followed standard animation stages, namely pre-production (story idea, storyboard, and character design), production (modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, rendering), and post-production (compositing, editing, and finalization). The resulting animation, with a duration of approximately three minutes, was created using Blender, an open-source software widely adopted in the animation industry. The final product highlights STMIK Palangka Raya’s key features, including its facilities, academic programs, student activities, and institutional strengths. Evaluation involving 18 respondents revealed positive results: 50.6% rated the animation as good, 42.4% as fair, and only 7% as poor. Specifically, the storyline received highly positive feedback (72.2%), while the background music and visual effects were also considered appropriate by the majority of respondents. These findings demonstrate that 3D animation can serve as an effective medium for higher education promotion, capable of attracting prospective students and enhancing institutional image. Moreover, the use of open-source software such as Blender provides advantages in terms of cost efficiency, flexibility, and further development opportunities

Abstract

Discipline is one of the keys to success. Discipline is not only owned by students, but all jobs also contain discipline to show that the values of obedience and order are under the applicable norms and rules. Teachers also play a crucial role in solving the lack of discipline among students since students spend much time at school with the teachers, primarily the class teachers. This study aimed to determine how teachers instilled discipline for grade IV students through learning activities. The method used in this research was a descriptive qualitative method. The data collection techniques used were interview, observation, and documentation techniques. This study indicated that the teachers of SDN Karawaci Baru 6 cultivated disciplinary character in grade IV students and knew how to achieve subject characteristics through learning activities

Abstract

The background of this research was the importance of the environmental care character built from an early age starting in elementary school, and instilled in various ways; one of which was through mutual cooperation activities. The purpose of this study included two things: first, to determine the mplementation of building the environmental care character through mutual cooperation activities at SDN Unyur and second, to determine strategies to foster the environmental care character through mutual cooperation activities at SDN Unyur. This research was descriptive qualitative research. This research was conducted at SDN Unyur, Serang, Banten. The results showed that the implementation of building environmental care character through mutual cooperation at SDN Unyur included environmental care activities in the classroom, environmental care activities outside the classroom, and annual environmental care activities. The strategy for fostering the environmental care character through mutual cooperation activities at SDN Unyur was instilled by making teachers as role models, giving sanctions and appreciation to students, and providing facilities and infrastructure supporting the manifestation of the environment care character.
