Abstract

Class action lawsuits have become an important instrument in fighting for justice for victims of natural disasters in Indonesia, as seen in the 2021 South Kalimantan flash flood case. This study analyzes the effectiveness of class action lawsuits as a corrective justice mechanism under Law No. 24 of 2007 on Disaster Management by examining the Banjarmasin State Administrative Court Decision No. 6/PEN-HS/2021/1/PTUN.BJM and its relevance to the West Java 2025 flash flood. Through a juridical-normative approach with document analysis of court decisions, the research shows that although the lawsuit required significant resource mobilization and was unsuccessful in obtaining material compensation that should have been the right of victims according to Article 26 letter (d) of Law No. 24 of 2007, it proved effective in forcing disaster management policy reform. The South Kalimantan case led to the procurement of an early warning system worth IDR771.5 million and supporting infrastructure worth IDR2.2 billion. Comparative analysis identified similar patterns of institutional negligence in both disasters: unpreparedness of early warning systems, slow emergency response, and neglect of the impact of environmental damage due to land conversion. This research confirms that despite evidentiary challenges and bureaucratic resistance, class action lawsuits remain a vital instrument in promoting government accountability and structural reform in disaster management as mandated by Law No. 24/2007.

Abstract

This study examines the role of communication in strategic decision-making in public organizations. In a complex and dynamic environment, stakeholders are struggling with challenges in formulating optimal decisions. Effective communication is key to strengthening transparency, building trust, and increasing participation from various stakeholders. With a literature review approach, this study identifies the best strategies in communication management that support more informative and responsive decision-making to environmental changes. The results of the study indicate that two-way symmetrical communication, information transparency, and strategic crisis management contribute to increasing the efficiency and accuracy of decisions taken. Thus, this study provides insight into the importance of communication strategies in building solid relationships between public organizations and their stakeholders, and how this affects the organization's success in achieving its expected goals.

Abstract

Using a systematic literature review approach following the PRISMA guidelines, this study analyzed 20 scholarly articles published between 2020 and 2024 from various countries, focusing on the job satisfaction of lecturers. To ensure the quality of the included studies, only articles indexed in Scopus Q1, Q2, and Q3 were considered using the Watase UAKE database. The objective of this study is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the context and theoretical foundations employed in these studies. In terms of context, all analyzed articles used lecturers as their research subjects. Regarding theoretical foundations, Herzberg's two-factor theory is the most frequently used framework. This study also maps the variables that can be antecedents and consequences of lecturers' job satisfaction. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to the development of more effective policies for enhancing the job satisfaction of lecturers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis kompetensi inti yang dibutuhkan dalam era digitalisasi logistik maritim melalui metode tinjauan pustaka sistematis (systematic literature review). Data dikumpulkan dari berbagai publikasi akademik internasional dan nasional yang relevan dalam dua dekade terakhir. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi inti dalam logistik maritim modern meliputi literasi digital, pengelolaan data, pengambilan keputusan berbasis sistem informasi, kemampuan kolaboratif lintas sistem, serta adaptasi terhadap teknologi seperti IoT, big data, dan blockchain. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa pengembangan kompetensi tidak dapat dilepaskan dari dukungan kelembagaan, kurikulum pelatihan yang terstruktur, dan kolaborasi industri–akademisi. Simpulan dari studi ini menekankan pentingnya penyusunan kerangka kompetensi inti berbasis digital yang adaptif dan kontekstual untuk memperkuat daya saing logistik maritim nasional.

Abstract

  Transformasi pendidikan di era Revolusi Industri 4.0 dan Society 5.0 menuntut guru menguasai kompetensi TPACK agar mampu mengintegrasikan teknologi secara efektif dalam pembelajaran. Namun, penguasaan TPACK guru di Indonesia masih menghadapi berbagai hambatan personal dan institusional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh ICT Self-efficacy dan budaya sekolah terhadap kompetensi TPACK guru, serta menguji peran mediasi ICT Self-efficacy dalam hubungan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei dan analisis data melalui PLS-SEM. Sampel penelitian mencakup 58 guru di MA Persis Tarogong, Garut. Instrumen berupa angket skala Likert digunakan untuk mengukur budaya sekolah, ICT Self-efficacy, dan TPACK. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya sekolah memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap TPACK guru, baik secara langsung maupun melalui mediasi ICT Self-efficacy. Budaya sekolah yang suportif dan inovatif mendorong peningkatan kepercayaan diri guru dalam menggunakan teknologi, yang berdampak pada peningkatan kompetensi TPACK. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan budaya sekolah yang mendukung inovasi serta pelatihan berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan ICT Self-efficacy, guna memperkuat profesionalisme guru dalam pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

Kelor (Moringa oleifera) dikenal sebagai "miracle plant" karena kandungan senyawa antioksidannya yang sangat tinggi, menjadikannya sumber antioksidan alami yang potensial dan bermanfaat bagi tubuh. Salah satu pemanfaatannya adalah dengan mengekstrak daun kelor dan mengolahnya menjadi sediaan serum yang dapat melindungi kulit dari kerusakan akibat stres oksidatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak daun kelor terhadap aktivitas antioksidan dalam sediaan serum. Ekstrak daun kelor diperoleh menggunakan metode maserasi yang kemudian diformulasikan dalam sediaan serum. Untuk mengukur aktivitas antioksidan sedian serum, digunakannya metode 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) dengan spektrofotometer UV-Vis sehingga diperoleh nilai IC50. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai IC50 sediaan serum dengan ekstrak daun kelor sebanyak 0%, 3%, dan 6% secara berturut-turut 19467.42 μg/ml, 11910.89 μg/ml, dan 7889.45 μg/ml. Dengan demikian, terdapat pengaruh penambahan ekstrak daun kelor pada formula sediaan serum. Aktivitas antioksidan akan meningkat seiring dengan bertambahnya konsentrasi ekstrak daun kelor yang digunakan. Namun, untuk mencapai efektivitas antioksidan yang maksimal, diperlukan metode ekstraksi dan formulasi serum yang lebih tepat dan efisien.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of Integrated Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) as a risk mitigation strategy in the management of pawn companies to enhance the national economy. The pawn industry in Indonesia has grown significantly, offering vital financial services, particularly to micro and small enterprises. However, challenges such as weak governance, operational risks, and regulatory gaps threaten its sustainability. The research aims to analyze the role of GRC in improving corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance in pawn companies, thereby contributing to economic stability and inclusivity. Using a normative legal method, the study examines laws, regulations, and theoretical frameworks related to GRC, alongside secondary data from literature and legal documents. Findings reveal that integrated GRC strengthens transparency, accountability, and risk mitigation, fostering public trust and investor confidence. It also highlights the need for clearer regulations and technological adoption to address implementation challenges. The implications of this research underscore the importance of collaborative efforts between regulators, such as the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK), and pawn companies to standardize GRC practices. By enhancing governance and compliance, the pawn industry can better support financial inclusion, SME growth, and national economic resilience.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of family support and entrepreneurship education on the entrepreneurial intention of Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Jakarta 2022 batch students, with entrepreneurial inspiration as a mediator. Using a quantitative survey, data was collected from 132 students online and analyzed with SEM-PLS. Results show that family support and entrepreneurship education positively influence entrepreneurial intention and inspiration. Entrepreneurial inspiration also positively influences entrepreneurial intention. Nevertheless, the mediation effect of inspiration is relatively low. This model has good explanatory and predictive power, emphasizing the importance of family support, education, and inspiration in shaping students' entrepreneurial intention.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the role of entrepreneurship education in shaping students’ attitudes, intentions, and career decisions to become entrepreneurs. Data were obtained from 133 students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Negeri Jakarta who participated in the Wirausaha Merdeka Wira-Wiri program, out of a total of 339 distributed questionnaires. This research employed a quantitative method with a causal associative approach and Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis technique. The results show that entrepreneurship education has a direct influence on career choice and entrepreneurial attitude, but no direct effect on entrepreneurial intention. Entrepreneurial attitude affects intention. Entrepreneurial intention has a significant impact on the decision to pursue an entrepreneurial career. Furthermore, entrepreneurial attitude indirectly influences career choice through entrepreneurial intention.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of competence and entrepreneurship on business success, with product innovation as a mediating variable, in micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) assisted by OK OCE Indonesia in the DKI Jakarta region. A quantitative approach was used, collecting data through questionnaires distributed to 150 MSMEs selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method using SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results showed that competence and entrepreneurship have a positive and significant effect on business success. Both variables also have a significant contribution to product innovation, which is further proven to have a positive effect on business success. Product innovation has been shown to act as a mediator, although the resulting mediation effect is relatively limited. The practical implications of this study can be the basis for the development of more targeted training, mentoring, and capacity building programs to support the effectiveness of MSME empowerment programs by OK OCE.
