Abstract

Pendidikan Islam di Indonesia mengalami proses reformasi yang panjang dan dinamis seiring dengan perubahan sosial, politik, dan kebijakan pendidikan nasional. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perkembangan reformasi pendidikan Islam di Indonesia dari masa awal hingga era kontemporer, dengan menyoroti faktor pendorong, arah perubahan, serta tantangan yang dihadapi. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian pustaka dengan menelaah berbagai sumber ilmiah yang relevan, termasuk kebijakan pemerintah dan hasil penelitian terdahulu. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa reformasi pendidikan Islam tidak hanya menyentuh aspek kelembagaan dan kurikulum, tetapi juga metode pembelajaran, integrasi ilmu agama dan umum, serta peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Namun demikian, reformasi tersebut masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, seperti ketimpangan mutu, keterbatasan sarana, dan tantangan globalisasi. Artikel ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi teoretis dan praktis bagi pengembangan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia.

Abstract

Digital transformation through Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers significant potential for enhancing elementary school teacher competence, yet its implementation remains largely technical and fragmented when detached from teachers’ religious and personal dimensions. This study addresses this gap by examining the integration of AI-assisted learning and Qur’anic tahsin development as a holistic model of teacher competency enhancement. Employing a qualitative case study design, the research was conducted at SD Negeri 200206 Padangsidimpuan, involving elementary school teachers, Islamic Religious Education teachers, school leadership, and facilitators of AI and tahsin training programs. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis, and analyzed using an interactive analytical model with methodological triangulation. The findings reveal that the use of AI tools—such as ChatGPT, Gamma, and Canva AI—significantly improves instructional effectiveness and strengthens teachers’ pedagogical and professional competencies. Furthermore, AI-integrated Qur’anic tahsin training, particularly in makhārij al-ḥurūf and tajwīd, enhances teachers’ Qur’anic recitation quality while reinforcing their religious and personal competencies. This study contributes a value-based, integrative framework for teacher professional development that bridges digital innovation and Islamic educational values. Despite its potential, the model faces challenges related to digital literacy disparities, infrastructural readiness, and the need for sustained mentoring. The study advances scholarly discourse on ethically grounded AI integration in elementary education.

Abstract

The government is currently intensively introducing the issue of moderation to all elements of the state in Indonesia to be internalized by the Indonesian people. Terrorism and liberalism are considered as the impact of an immoderate understanding of religion, therefore an appropriate method is needed to internalize the values of moderation from an early age, because early age is the right time to build one's character. The purpose of this study is to examine and present the implementation of the Al-Qur'an Education Park curriculum based on moderation. The method in this research is literature study and field study with content analysis. Al-Qur'an Education Parks are required to be able to instill the values of moderation, namely tawasuth, tawazun, i'tidal, tasamuh and al-musawah through the learning process at the TPA. The inculcation of moderation values is practically derived from the four components of the curriculum, namely objectives, content, methods and evaluation. The four components must always synergize in its implementation. In its implementation, it shows that the inculcation of moderation values in the TPA curriculum contributes to forming a moderate TPA environment.

Abstract

Penyakit Mulut dan Kuku (PMK) kembali muncul di Indonesia pada April 2022 setelah lebih dari 30 tahun bebas dan menimbulkan kerugian besar bagi peternak. Kabupaten Lombok Tengah menjadi wilayah dengan kasus tinggi akibat lemahnya biosekuriti. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui partisipasi mahasiswaini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan peternak tentang PMK serta mendorong penerapan biosekuriti melalui footbath dan disinfektan spray. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan, demonstrasi, media edukasi, serta evaluasi pretest–posttest dan survei IKM dengan 25 peternak sebagai responden. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman hingga skor posttest 85% dan nilai IKM 87% (sangat puas). Peternak menilai footbath efektif mencegah kontaminasi silang, sedangkan disinfektan spray praktis menjaga kebersihan kandang. Program ini terbukti meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan peternak dan berpotensi direplikasi di wilayah berisiko tinggi PMK.

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital technology has significantly transformed human behavior, including the mentality of mad’u in responding to social media use. However, excessive use has led to social media addiction, which negatively affects psychological, social, and spiritual aspects. This study aims to analyze how the mentality of mad’u transforms in dealing with social media addiction through the perspective of Social Learning Theory in da’wah psychology. The research applies a qualitative approach using library research, by examining relevant scholarly literature related to social media addiction, social learning processes, and Islamic da’wah strategies. The findings indicate that mad’u’s mentality is shaped through observational learning, imitation, and reinforcement from digital environments, especially through influencers and online communities. This condition requires adaptive and psychologically grounded da’wah strategies. The study concludes that integrating Social Learning Theory into da’wah practices can effectively transform mad’u’s mentality toward more critical, balanced, and spiritually grounded behavior in the digital era.

Abstract

Bahasa Inggris berperan penting sebagai bahasa internasional yang menunjang pendidikan, teknologi, dan komunikasi global, sehingga pengenalan sejak usia sekolah dasar menjadi langkah strategis dalam membangun fondasi literasi bahasa asing. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata dasar, pelafalan, motivasi, dan rasa percaya diri anak dalam menggunakan Bahasa Inggris melalui fun learning berbasis media kreatif. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga diarahkan untuk mengenalkan alfabet, angka, sapaan, dan kalimat sederhana sebagai fondasi awal pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Metode pelaksanaan program mencakup tiga tahap utama, yakni tahap persiapan melalui survei kebutuhan dan koordinasi dengan pihak yayasan; tahap pelaksanaan melalui workshop pembelajaran interaktif berbasis fun learning seperti permainan edukatif, role-play, flashcards, video, serta latihan percakapan sederhana; dan tahap evaluasi melalui pre-test, post-test, serta observasi perkembangan peserta. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan peserta dalam mengenal alfabet, kosakata dasar, angka, serta sapaan dan ungkapan sederhana dalam Bahasa Inggris. Selain itu, anak-anak tampak lebih percaya diri dan antusias dalam menggunakan Bahasa Inggris selama kegiatan berlangsung.

Abstract

Animal protein intake in Indonesia remains relatively low, although chicken meat is a highly preferred protein source and can be processed into practical food products such as nuggets, katsu, chicken patties, and cilok. Women’s religious study groups (pengajian) have strong potential as a basis for family economic empowerment, yet their activities are often limited to religious rituals. The community partner in this program was the Al Husna women’s pengajian group in Garum Village, Blitar Regency, a central chicken-producing region in East Java. The program has been conducted through a community engagement project, with training in basic business economics and hands-on training in chicken-based processed foods, accompanied by technology transfer of a meat chopper, a vacuum sealer, and a 100-L freezer. This article describes community organizing, training implementation, establishment of “Baitul Husna Frozen Food”, and early reflections on the sustainability and contributions of the program to women’s skills and economic opportunities

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of internalization of local cultural character values ​​on students' learning behavior in mathematics learning based on the integration of behaviorism learning theory and local culture in ethnomathematics learning. The research methodology used is descriptive qualitative research with a population of 19 fifth-grade students at SDN Sukarasa 01, Tanjungsari District, Bogor Regency. To obtain research data, the results of observations of pedagogical practices in fifth-grade students and interview sheets of fifth-grade students after carrying out learning activities are observed. The findings of this study indicate changes in behavior in mathematics learning after being given a stimulus (S) by combining local cultural elements (traditional food and regional traditions) into mathematical problems (story problems related to fractions) and given reinforcement such as star stamps and points on student worksheets. To improve students' understanding in performing mathematical arithmetic operations, students are given repeated practice (drill) as a form of reinforcement. The conclusion of the research findings is that students show active participation behavior during mathematics learning.
