Abstract

This study analyzes the historical, symbolic, and religious moderation values ​​contained in the AI ​​1001 Roundabout in Singkawang. This monument not only functions as an aesthetic element of the city, but also represents social harmony and inter-ethnic tolerance. The existence of statues of the three main ethnic groups, Malay, Chinese, and Dayak, emphasizes the collective identity of the Singkawang community who live in diversity and peace. This study uses a qualitative approach with a hermeneutic method to interpret the symbolic meaning contained in the monument. The results of the study indicate that the AI ​​1001 Roundabout plays a role in strengthening the values ​​of religious moderation, which include tolerance, anti-violence, adaptation to local culture, and love for the homeland. In addition, the existence of this monument also contributes to building collective awareness of the community regarding the importance of pluralism and unity amidst differences. Singkawang's predicate as the Most Tolerant City in Indonesia further strengthens the role of the AI ​​1001 Roundabout as a real symbol of harmony. Thus, this monument is not only an icon of the city, but also a means of education and social integration in creating a harmonious and inclusive environment for the entire community.

Abstract

Da’wah is an activity aimed at inviting, calling, or guiding humanity to do good, so they obey Allah’s commands and avoid His prohibitions. An effective communication model and strategy are crucial for the preacher in delivering dakwah so that the message conveyed can be received, understood, and applied by the audience in their daily lives. The focus of this research is to examine the communication model and digital dakwah strategy on Gus Miftah’s YouTube channel through one of the videos titled “Gus Miftah Visits Prisoners in Prison.” This research uses a narrative qualitative approach. Narrative research is a study that explores the lives of individuals or groups as told or documented. Based on the results of the research and analysis, it was found that Gus Miftah, in delivering his dakwah or sermon in the Narcotics Prison, utilized several communication models: the informative communication model (providing information), the persuasive communication model (inviting, motivating, and influencing), the recreational communication model (delivering with humor), and the extemporaneous communication model (noting key points and delivering them flexibly). Additionally, Gus Miftah, in his sermon or dakwah video at the Narcotics Prison, used two dakwah strategies: the sentimental strategy (appealing to feelings, emotions, or the heart) and the rational strategy (through reason and intellect). Abstract

This study investigated the optical properties of Ce-doped ZnO nanoparticles (Ce/ZnO), synthesized using Pandanus ammaryllifolius leaf extract via a green biosynthesis method. Ce doping concentrations of 1%, 2%, and 3% were applied, and the nanoparticles were annealed at 400 °C for two hours. UV-Vis analysis showed a redshift in the annealed samples, with the wavelength increasing from 368 nm to 370 nm, likely due to particle growth after thermal treatment. In contrast, the unannealed samples exhibited a blueshift, with the maximum absorbance wavelength decreasing from 361 nm to 356 nm. The absorbance values were higher in the annealed samples than in the unannealed ones. The band gap energy of doped ZnO samples decreased slightly after annealing, from 3.20–3.22 eV to 3.15–3.19 eV, indicating improved optical properties. FTIR analysis revealed the presence of Ce–O bonds and functional groups, such as O–H and C–H, with sharper peaks in the annealed samples. The novelty of this study lies in utilizing Pandanus ammaryllifolius leaf extract as a natural reducing and stabilizing agent, providing a sustainable and eco-friendly alternative to conventional chemical synthesis methods. The findings suggest that Ce doping enhances the optical properties of ZnO nanoparticles, making them suitable for specific applications in environmental remediation, such as the degradation of organic pollutants, and in technological fields like photocatalytic devices and UV-absorbing materials.

Abstract

Fuel cell merupakan perlengkapan konversi tenaga yang menggunakan prinsip elektrokimia yang mereaksi hidrogen dan oksigen menjadi air. Fuel cell dapat memproduksi listrik seiring dengan ketersediaan suplai dari bahan bakar eksternal, sehingga sifatnya bertentangan dengan penggunaan dari baterai. Karya ilmiah ini mengkaji mengenai topik pengaplikasian sistem fuel cell pada kendaraan bermotor sebagai salah satu bentuk alternatif ramah lingkungan untuk menanggulangi dampak buruk penggunaan BBM yang berlebihan. Metode yang digunakan pada kajian ini yaitu deskripsi kualitatif dan didasarkan pada tinjauan beberapa artikel penelitian terdahulu disertai dengan literatur yang relevan. Berdasarkan penelusuran dan pengkajian dari beberapa referensi terdahulu, maka dapat diperoleh beberapa kesimpulan, antara lain pengolahan gas hidrogen fuel cell ialah suatu tahapan awal sebelum gas tersebut dimasukkan ke dalam sistem fuel cell untuk dijadikan sebagai bahan bakar, proses reforming ialah suatu tahapan alternatif yang menggunakan gas metanol sebagai bahan bakar fuel cell untuk menghindari kendala-kendala yang ditimbulkan gas hidrogen, dan sistem thermal fuel cell ialah suatu tahapan yang digunakan untuk mengatur suhu agar sistem fuel cell tidak cepat rusak akibat panas yang ditimbulkan dari hasil samping kinerja sistem tersebut.

Abstract

Untuk mengatasi krisis energi yang sedang terjadi diperlukan sumber energi alternatif baru yang lebih murah, berlimpah dan dapat diperbaharui. Energi alternatif yang saat ini banyak dikembangkan ialah biomassa, dan salah satunya adalah serbuk kayu dan sekam padi. Gasifikasi biomassa khususnya di Indonesia memiliki potensi. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji karakteristik unjuk kerja genset diesel 5kW terhadap berbagai pembebanan dengan bahan bakar solar dan syngas dari hasil gasifikasi campuran serbuk kayu dan sekam padi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Rekayasa Energi Baru Terbarukan Fakultas Teknik UNTIRTA. Penelitian ini menggunakan variasi pembebanan dengan total lampu halogen berjumlah 5,2kW. Pada penelitian ini penulis hanya menggunakan beban maksimum 3,2kW dikarenakan kondisi yang “tidak optimal” pada genset yang mengakibatkan putaran mesin menjadi tidak maksimal. Hasilnya nilai daya generator diesel pada pembebanan kecil meningkat, namun pada pembebanan tinggi mengalami penurunan

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh variasi tool dan pemanas tambahan terhadap hasil pengelasan Friction Stir Spot Welding (FSSW) pada material Aluminium AA1100. Metode FSSW adalah teknik pengelasan solid-state yang memanfaatkan gesekan untuk menghasilkan panas, sehingga material dapat disatukan tanpa mencairkannya. Metode penelitian menggunakan variasi tool dan tambahan pemanas untuk mengamati perubahan terhadap hasil hasil pengelasan, parameter yang digunakan pada hasil pengelasan kekuatan tarik, penetran dan struktur makro pada area las. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variasi tool dan penggunaan pemanas tambahan secara signifikan mempengaruhi kualitas pengelasan. Tool yang berbeda memberikan variasi dalam kekuatan dan kekerasan hasil las, sementara penerapan pemanas tambahan meningkatkan homogenitas struktur makro serta memperbaiki kekuatan dan kekerasan pada area las. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan mendalam mengenai optimasi proses FSSW pada material Aluminium AA1100, serta memberikan rekomendasi untuk peningkatan kualitas hasil pengelasan.

Abstract

Many objects around us use paper-based materials. Recycle fiber is an alternative raw material with great potential to meet fiber needs and overcome environmental problems. Paper with virgin pulp raw materials has a higher production cost than paper with recycled fiber raw materials. Apart from fiber raw materials, the chemicals used also cause high production process costs. Currently, the industry uses a double retention system for $ 63,022.5 per month; this cost comes from using more chemicals. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of single retention on machine run ability and the quality of paper produced and to find out how much production cost savings from the use of single retention. In this study, brown paper was made using CPAM chemicals as retention materials and silica as comparison retention materials with doses of 0.25kg/ton, 0.5kg/ton, 0.75kg/ton, and 1kg/ton, respectively. Then, wet-end properties testing was carried out, which included drainage and FPR. Furthermore, dry-end properties testing, which included internal bonding, concord, ring crush, and tensile testing, was carried out on a laboratory scale. The results showed that using a maximum dose of cpam of 0.25kg/ton got better results. In using cpam above 0.25 kg/ton, quality degradation results are obtained, but the drainage produced continues to increase as the dose increases; this is influenced by the amount of floc formed in the stock, thus affecting the run ability of the machine. After research and calculations with the application of single retention in the brown paper manufacturing process, considerable cost savings were obtained, and quality can be maintained using strength agents.

Abstract

Fuzzy linear Programming is the development of a linear program model to find and determine the optimal value containing fuzzy values. To optimize the amount of raw chicken production, this research uses the Tsukamoto method and Fuzzy Linear Programming (FLP). This case study is focused on Ayam Geprek Campus Habibi. Market demand, raw material availability, and production capacity are some of the factors that affect raw chicken production. The FLP method with Tsukamoto approach is used to handle diversity and uncertainty in decision making about chicken production. A case study was conducted to show that this technique is effective in improving production efficiency and resulting in more optimized raw chicken production management decisions. The results of this study are expected to increase our understanding of the application of FLP with Tsukamoto method in the food industry, particularly on how to optimize raw chicken production.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the mathematical creative thinking ability of grade VIII students after participating in Realistic Mathematics Learning (PMR) approach on the material of Exponential Number at Bruder Junior High School, Pontianak. The research method used was design research. The subjects in this research were VIII grade students at Bruder Junior High School, Pontianak in the 2023/2024 academic year, with the experiment class in VIII-B and the research class in VIII-G. Data collection was done through tests, interviews, and documentation. The instruments used in the data collection process were test sheets, and interview guideline sheets. The instrument and data validation technique used in this research is validation of the supervisor and uses triangulation theory to test the validity of data obtained from the field. The data analysis process in this research is data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing. The results of this research are out of 27 students, three students (11%) have high creative thinking skills, 22 students (81.5%) have moderate creative thinking skills, and two students (7.5%) have low creative thinking skills.

Abstract

Keberhasilan dalam produksi padi tidak hanya ditentukan oleh proses budidaya, tetapi juga oleh penanganan pascapanen yang optimal. Pascapanen merupakan tahapan penting dalam sistem produksi padi yang mencakup kegiatan panen, perontokan, pengeringan, penyimpanan, dan penggilingan. Penanganan yang tidak tepat dapat menyebabkan kehilangan hasil yang signifikan serta menurunkan kualitas beras yang dihasilkan. Salah satu permasalahan utama dalam pascapanen padi adalah tingginya tingkat kehilangan hasil akibat teknik pemanenan yang kurang tepat, penggunaan alat yang tidak sesuai, serta metode penyimpanan yang kurang baik.Tujuan kegiatan PkM ini yaitu memberikan edukasi kepada petani mengenai pentingnya penanganan pascapanen yang baik untuk mengurangi kehilangan hasil dan mengajarkan metode panen, pengeringan, dan penyimpanan yang benar guna mengurangi kehilangan hasil yang disebabkan oleh teknik yang kurang tepat, hama, atau faktor lingkungan.Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan penanganan pacsa panen pada Kelompok Tani Harapan Bahagia 1 dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan sistematis yang melibatkan pendampingan, pelatihan, dan praktik langsung. Metode ini diharapkan mampu memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam serta keterampilan yang aplikatif bagi anggota Poktan. Pelatihan penerapan pasca panen telah berhasil memberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan pascapanen padi pada kelompok tani di Kecamatan Sekadau Hulu. Dengan dukungan yang berkelanjutan, strategi yang telah diterapkan dapat semakin meningkatkan efisiensi, kualitas, dan kesejahteraan petani di masa mendatang.
