Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the understanding and skills of quantitative data analysis at UIN Palopo students through quantitative data analysis training using SPSS software. The community service method used is participatory action, a method that places the community, especially students, in an empowerment program to solve the problems they face. This community service program is conducted in three stages: 1) the planning stage, which includes determining the community service target, determining the training topic, and determining the materials and tools used during the service. The second stage, implementation, includes SPSS application installation, an introduction to the application, in-depth material delivery, hands-on practice using SPSS, data processing and interpretation, and discussion sessions. The third stage, evaluation and monitoring, includes material evaluation, discussion sessions, and mentoring outside of the training. With an interactive and enjoyable approach, students master the theory and practice of using SPSS. This demonstrates that with ongoing training programs, students' data processing and analysis skills can develop rapidly, especially in applying SPSS for research and future careers.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong perusahaan untuk memiliki kehadiran digital yang kuat sebagai sebuah keharusan untuk dapat bersaing. PT Marina Batam Sejahtera, sebuah perusahaan di bidang material dan interior, menghadapi tantangan berupa visibilitas online yang belum optimal serta materi promosi yang perlu dimodernisasi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pemasaran. Kegiatan magang ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut melalui peran sebagai Low Code Website Developer dan Graphic Designer, dengan fokus pada pengembangan situs web fungsional menggunakan teknologi low-code serta produksi materi desain grafis yang menarik dan terstruktur. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan secara sistematis melalui tahapan persiapan, pengembangan, dan evaluasi, dengan memanfaatkan perangkat lunak seperti WordPress, Elementor, Framer, dan Canva. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah dua situs web fungsional untuk merek Deplafon dan Demedia, serta beragam materi promosi seperti lebih dari 20 flyer Instagram per bulan, katalog produk, dan kartu nama. Implementasi luaran ini berhasil memberikan solusi nyata yang meningkatkan visibilitas online, memperkuat branding digital, dan mendukung strategi pemasaran mitra secara lebih modern dan efektif. Abstract

The aim of this thesis research is to find out and analyze the findings of criminal liability related to mens rea in the crime of interception, and to find out and analyze the formulation of future norms regarding the regulation of criminal liability related to mens rea in the crime of interception. The problem formulation is how is the regulation of criminal liability related to mens rea in the crime of interception? and what will be the formulation of future norms regarding the regulation of criminal liability relating to mens rea in the crime of interception? The research method used in this research is normative juridical which reveals that normative legal research or doctrinal legal research is research on law that is conceptualized and developed on the basis of the doctrine adhered to by the conceptualizer or its development. In this research, the approaches that will be used are the conceptual approach, the statutory approach, and the comparative approach. Analysis of legal materials is carried out after all legal materials have been collected and then analyzed in a normative juridical manner. The analysis is carried out by evaluating legal norms based on the constitution on developing problems as a process to find answers to the main problems. Analysis of legal materials is carried out using inventory techniques, systematization techniques and interpretation techniques. The results of this research are that it is necessary to differentiate the mens rea for perpetrator witnesses who carry out interception or wiretapping so that their actions cannot be categorized as criminal liability, and there is a need for special protection for people who carry out interception or wiretapping in the public interest for certain criminal acts, such as criminal acts. corruption crimes, human trafficking crimes, money laundering crimes, and other special crimes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the law enforcement against electricity theft in Jambi City and to determine the obstacles to law enforcement against electricity theft committed by customers in Jambi City. In this study, the problems reviewed are regarding 1) How is the law enforcement against electricity theft in Jambi City, 2) What are the obstacles to law enforcement against electricity theft committed by customers in Jambi City. The research method used in this writing is the empirical legal approach. Empirical legal research aims to determine how the law is implemented in society, by looking at the realities in the community so as to know how the law works. This study uses qualitative research techniques with empirical legal research methods that can be carried out in 3 (three) ways, namely through interviews, questionnaires, questionnaires and observations. Criminal law enforcement against electricity theft in Jambi City still faces challenges, both in terms of social, cultural, and technical aspects. Although the regulations have clearly regulated criminal sanctions for perpetrators of electricity theft, the implementation of law enforcement is still inconsistent. PLN UP3 Jambi has conducted various detection efforts ranging from field inspections, public reports, to real-time digital monitoring. Suggestions for PLN to strengthen internal supervision to avoid collusion, develop smart meter technology and more sophisticated monitoring systems, and increase transparency and education to the public about the impacts and sanctions for electricity theft.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian tesis ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisi penemuan pertanggungjawaban pidana berkaitan dengan mens rea dalam tindak pidana intersepsi, dan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisi formulasi norma kedepan tentang pengaturan pertanggungjawaban pidana berkaitan dengan mens rea dalam tindak pidana intersepsi. Adapun yang menjadi perumusan masalah ialah bagaimana pengaturan pertanggungjawaban pidana berkaitan dengan mens rea dalam tindak pidana intersepsi? dan bagaimana formulasi norma kedepan tentang pengaturan pertanggungjawaban pidana berkaitan dengan mens rea Dalam Tindak Pidana Intersepsi? Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah yuridis normatif yang mengungkapkan bahwa penelitian hukum normatif atau penelitian hukum doktrinal adalah penelitian – penelitian atas hukum yang dikonsepsikan dan dikembangkan atas dasar doktrin yang dianut sang pengonsep atau pengembangannya. Dalam penelitian ini pendekatan yang akan digunakan adalah Pendekatan konseptual (conseptual approach), Pendekatan perundang–undangan (statute approach), dan Pendekatan komparatif (comparative approach). Analisis bahan hukum dilakukan setelah seluruh bahan hukum terkumpul kemudian dianalisis secara yuridis normatif. Analisis dilakukan dengan mengevaluasi norma-norma hukum yang didasarkan pada konstitusi atas permasalahan yang sedang berkembang sebagai proses untuk menemukan jawaban atas pokok permasalahan. Analisis bahan hukum dilakukan dengan Teknik Inventarisir, Teknik Sistematisasi, dan Teknik Interpretasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah perlu dibedakan mens rea terhadap saksi pelaku yang melakukan intersepsi atau penyadapan sehingga perbuatannya tidak dapat dikategorikan ke dalam pertanggungjawaban pidana, serta perlu adanya perlindungan khusus bagi masyarakat yang melakukan intersepsi atau penyadapan dalam rangka kepentingan umum terhadap tindak pidana tertentu, seperti tindak pidana korupsi, tindak pidana perdagangan orang, tindak pidana pencucian uang, dan tindak pidana khusus lainnya.

Abstract

Background: The level of knowledge of family caregivers has a significant impact on caregiving behavior for stroke sufferers at home. Sufficient knowledge allows caregivers to make informed decisions regarding treatment options. On the other hand, a lack of knowledge can cause misunderstandings, discomfort, fear, decreased physical well-being, and psychological disorders. Aim: To determine the relationship between knowledge and the attitude of family caregivers in caring for stroke sufferers at home. Method: This research used cross-sectional techniques. The target population was family caregivers who care for stroke sufferers in the area Wirobrajan Health Center, Yogyakarta City. This sample used a simple random sampling method with a sample size of 42 respondents. The inclusion criteria consisted of respondents being family members who provide care for stroke sufferers at home and as nuclear family members. Exclusion criteria include family members who work in the health sector and stroke sufferers who receive homecare therapy. Results: Most of the family caregivers in the good knowledge category were 36 respondents (85.71%), and 23 respondents (54.76%) had a good attitude. The results of statistical tests using the gamma test showed that the p-value was 0.045 (p<0.05) and the correlation value was 0.774. Conclusion: There is a strong relationship between the knowledge and attitudes of family caregivers in caring for stroke sufferers at home. Implications: Family caregivers with good knowledge and attitudes in caring for stroke sufferers can improve recovery and prevent worse complications during home care.

Abstract

The degree to which learning outcomes are attained during the teaching and learning process is demonstrated by the condition of learning effectiveness. Online learning uses the internet network to facilitate learning without requiring students and teachers to interact face-to-face. According to the research findings, there was little difference in the learning outcomes of students before and during the epidemic. This demonstrates that studying through WhatsApp and Google Classroom is thought to be highly successful. Learning both in person and online is a topic that is frequently debated. not just with pupils but also with parents. A lot of people search for the best learning experience by comparing the two learning systems. While some believe that face-to-face communication is superior, others believe that online communication is superior. It's critical to understand the benefits and drawbacks of each approach since they each have unique advantages and downsides. The literature study method is being used in this investigation. Definitions of online and in-person learning, benefits of both types of learning, and distinctions and parallels between online and in-person teaching approaches are all covered in this study.

Abstract

In general, high school students view mathematics as a difficult and boring subject. In addition to students, teachers also have difficulty in conveying material for the introduction of majors for lectures. The lack of student interest in learning mathematics is a problem for every high school teacher. This happens if the teacher's ability to use conventional learning methods such as from textbooks and explanations from the teacher only. Therefore, it is necessary to strive in the process of learning mathematics to be more interesting, more interactive and fun. This issue also applies to science materials that require understanding. For this reason, teaching aids are needed that are used to stimulate students' responsiveness in studying material according to their scientific competence. This service aims to apply knowledge and technology by conducting training in making and tutorials on mathematics learning media so that it can increase understanding and attract students' interest in learning and help improve the quality of teacher education and teaching at Husni Thamrin High School.

Abstract

Value data processing is one of the most important parts of school operations and activities. Husni Thamrin Medan Private Middle School, one of the schools that organizes an educational process based on the 2013 Curriculum, manages value data through manual and separate input by each teacher. It is hoped that through the development of a web application-based value management system, value data processing can be carried out more easily and integratedly. To implement the use of this application, training is needed for teachers so they can get to know the features and how to use the application.

Abstract

Education has had a substantial metamorphosis in the current age of computers and the Internet. The adoption of digital learning technology represents a significant paradigm shift. Schools should optimize the utilization of this technology to enhance learning results. The field of education is seeing significant transformations in the current era of information and technology. Global educational institutions are increasingly using digital-centric learning methods to stay abreast with contemporary advancements. Enhancing the efficiency of technology-driven education in educational institutions is a crucial measure in equipping upcoming generations for the future. The primary advantage of digital learning is its inherent flexibility, since it enables students to access educational resources at their convenience and from any location. This allows them to tailor their learning experience to their individual pace and preferred methods of learning. It aids in surmounting the temporal and spatial limitations associated with traditional education. Furthermore, digital learning facilitates the utilization of a diverse range of educational resources. Students can enhance their comprehension of ideas by utilizing simulations, films, and other interactive materials. The Mathematics Teachers Team at USU organized a Microsoft Excel training session at Husni Thamrin SMAS with the objective of enhancing the teaching and learning paradigm for teachers in schools.
