Abstract

This community service activity aims to address the curiosity of young people about processing solid fish waste into economical packaged food. Supported by Muhammadiyah University, this initiative integrates entrepreneurial and sociological studies into academic curricula for coastal communities, enhancing the practical application of theoretical knowledge. The activity involved 15 young participants, with 10 completing the program successfully. The method used was a combination of lectures and hands-on practice in processing solid fish waste into products like fish bone chips and sticks. The detailed processing steps served as a guide for participants to develop their skills. Results show high enthusiasm among participants, with 20 out of 25 completing the training effectively. The program successfully enhanced knowledge and skills in utilizing fish waste to create economical products, meeting the planned targets. This initiative improves young people's skills in processing fish waste, benefiting income and the environment. Its novelty lies in a practical, interdisciplinary approach, providing an innovative solution for optimizing fish waste.

Abstract

Background: Leptospirosis is a zoonotic disease endemic in tropical regions with a high burden among low-income populations. Its clinical spectrum ranges from mild illness to severe Weil’s disease, which may involve multiple organs with common and severe complication is acute kidney injury (AKI) with no specific therapy exists. In this report, we describe how early hemodialysis may improve outcomes. Case Presentation: A 60-year-old man presented with a 10-day history of fever. He also reported calf pain and jaundice that had appeared one week prior to admission. Over the past week, the patient experienced decreased urinary frequency, with urine becoming more concentrated in color. Laboratory tests revealed thrombocytopenia, leukocytosis, elevated SGOT and SGPT levels, hyperbilirubinemia, and azotemia. Leptospira IgM was positive. Urinalysis demonstrated proteinuria and bilirubinuria. The patient’s Modified Faine’s Criteria score was 34, and his SOFA score was 11. Results: Patient was diagnosed with Weil's disease with AKI III complicated by sepsis. The furosemide stress test was administered to the patient but the results was not favorable therefore hemodialysis was initiated leading to an improvement in the patient’s condition. Conclusion: Early initiation of hemodialysis in patients with leptospirosis induced AKI provides favorable immediate outcome and prevents them from falling into uremic syndrome leading to mortality.

Abstract

The development of digital culture has brought significant changes to patterns of interaction, ways of thinking, and the formation of students’ character, particularly at the Vocational High School (SMK) level. On one hand, digitalization provides easier access to information; on the other hand, it presents challenges such as moral degradation, low digital literacy, and increased exposure to negative content. This study aims to analyze the roles and strategies of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in internalizing Islamic morals amid digital culture, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and examine students’ behavioral manifestations as outcomes of this internalization process. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that PAI teachers act as agents of digital moral transformation through strategies such as role modeling, habituation, integration of values in contextual learning, and strengthening Islamic digital literacy. Supporting factors include a religious school culture and institutional policy support, while inhibiting factors involve students’ low digital literacy, limited digital competence among teachers, and external environmental influences. The internalization of Islamic morals is reflected in the increasing awareness of students’ digital ethics, although it remains partial and gradual. This study underscores the importance of integrating moral education with digital literacy as an adaptive approach to addressing educational challenges in the digital era.

Abstract

Every company wants all its equipment or machinery operating in optimum condition, so that the necessary maintenance activities to fulfill that desire. Management of maintenance activities to be hard to do when the equipment or machines owned by increasingly numerous and complex, and activities increase the number of machines or equipment routinely performed. Therefore needed a system to manage maintenance activities quickly, especially in administration of maintenance of machine or equipment are handled. This program has the ability to manage personal data engines, machinery or equipment maintenance scheduling, managing work instruction sheet, a history of the machine, the data parts, data managing maintenance activities, Preventive maintenance and expense reports. System maintenance is made by using a computer-based information system maintenance. In making the program used Microsoft Visual  Basic 6.0 and used for the purpose of Microsoft Access database.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze school culture in shaping student well-being at SMP Negeri 1 Gorontalo. The focus of the study includes school cultural values, artifacts or symbols of school culture, and the habituation of well-being values ​​in creating a conducive learning environment. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observation and documentation involving the vice principal, teachers, and students as informants. Data analysis through data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that school culture at SMP Negeri 1 Gorontalo is reflected through religious values, discipline, responsibility, cooperation, mutual respect, and environmental care that are applied in daily activities at school. Cultural artifacts and symbols such as motivational slogans, school rules, moral value posters, and school environmental arrangements also support the formation of positive student behavior. Habituation activities such as morning assembly, religious activities, discipline, and cooperation among school members contribute to creating a safe, comfortable learning environment that supports student well-being. This study concludes that school culture has an important role in shaping students' social, emotional and academic well-being through the internalization of values ​​that is carried out consistently and continuously.

Abstract

The implementation of risk-based business licensing through the Online Single Submission Risk-Based Approach (OSS-RBA) has become a key component of Indonesia’s public-service reform to improve regulatory efficiency, investment certainty, and digital governance. However, empirical evidence explaining how organizational capacity, policy interpretation, and policy application interact during local implementation remains limited. This study analyzes the implementation of OSS-RBA at the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP) of Sintang Regency using Jones and Baird’s policy implementation framework. A qualitative single-case study was employed. Data were collected from seven purposively selected participants through semi-structured interviews, non-participant observation, and document analysis, and analyzed using theory-informed thematic analysis with source and method triangulation. The findings indicate that OSS-RBA has strengthened administrative transparency, clarified licensing requirements based on business-risk classifications, and improved institutional arrangements for licensing services. Nevertheless, implementation remains constrained by limited human resources, uneven technical competence, interagency coordination challenges, unstable digital infrastructure, and varying digital capabilities among business actors. These conditions collectively influence organizational performance, policy interpretation, and service delivery. The study demonstrates that effective implementation depends on the interdependent relationship among organizational capacity, policy interpretation, and policy application rather than technological adoption alone. It refines the empirical application of Jones and Baird’s framework by illustrating how these dimensions interact within digitally mediated licensing services and provides practical insights for strengthening institutional capacity, adaptive coordination, and user-oriented digital services.

Abstract

Usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) di bidang kuliner sering menghadapi kendala dalam mengalokasikan sumber daya produksi secara optimal sehingga keuntungan yang diperoleh belum maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kombinasi produksi yang optimal pada Usaha Toko Kue Racha Homade dengan menggunakan metode Program Linear melalui algoritma Simpleks. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi variabel keputusan, menyusun fungsi tujuan untuk memaksimalkan keuntungan, serta merumuskan fungsi kendala berdasarkan ketersediaan bahan baku yang meliputi tepung terigu, gula, ragi, susu bubuk, cokelat, kacang, dan keju. Selanjutnya, model matematika diselesaikan menggunakan metode Simpleks untuk memperoleh solusi optimal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi produksi yang memberikan keuntungan maksimum adalah memproduksi 3 unit roti isi cokelat kacang (X1) dan 10 unit roti isi cokelat keju (X2) dengan keuntungan maksimum sebesar Rp82.500 per hari. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa metode Program Linear Simpleks mampu membantu pelaku usaha dalam menentukan jumlah produksi yang optimal, meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan bahan baku, serta memaksimalkan keuntungan usaha. Dengan demikian, metode ini dapat dijadikan sebagai alat bantu pengambilan keputusan dalam perencanaan produksi pada usaha skala kecil dan menengah.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the tradition of the murajaah (memorization review) curriculum for Surah Al-Baqarah and Juz ‘Amma at SMPTQ and SMATQ Hasmi, Bogor. The program is backed by the necessity of preserving Al-Qur'an memorization from the inherent human trait of forgetfulness. This policy strategically integrates Surah Al-Baqarah as a macro foundation to build students' mental endurance, alongside Juz ‘Amma as a tactical solution to support practical daily worship. The research method employed is a descriptive case study with a qualitative approach. Data were gathered through participatory observation, literature review, and in-depth interviews with curriculum staff, educators, and students. The results indicate that the murajaah activity is conducted every Monday to Saturday from 08:00 to 08:30 WIB in the auditorium using a classical method, followed by independent recitations (tasmi') in the classroom. The target management is mathematically set at 4 pages per day to minimize student burnout. This tradition is proven to yield comprehensive impacts, including achieving peace of mind, enhancing discipline, improving fluency in prayer recitations, and sharpening brain function to train students' focus and concentration in school.

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the degree of effectiveness of the work of the Complaint Management Team at the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP) of Melawi Regency and to explain the reasons why the office receives a small number of complaints from the public. The problems that this research are the absence of guidance/evaluation by the superiors to the Complaint Management Team of DPMPTSP Melawi Regency, inadequate training of the team on how to handle complaints, and the low number of complaints that are submitted to the office. This study aims to determine the level of effectiveness of the performance of the Complaint Management Team and to determine the factors that contribute to the low number of complaints received by the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP) Melawi Regency. The study is descriptive qualitative. The data were collected by means of interviews and documentation. The analysis of the data was founded on the theory of Duncan that comprises goal achievement, integration, and adaptation to assess the effectiveness of the performance of the Complaint Management Team at DPMPTSP Melawi Regency. The results indicate that the Complaint Management Team at DPMPTSP Melawi Regency is not yet effective in the following aspects: Goal attainment: The goals of complaint management have not been met completely. Integration: The degree of socialization and outreach to the population is low. Adaptation: The adoption of Presidential Regulation No. 76 of 2013 and Regulation of Ministry of State Apparatus Utilization and Bureaucratic Reform No. 3 of 2015 has not been ideal. Some of the reasons why DPMPTSP Melawi Regency received few complaints are: poor human resource quality, poor facilities and infrastructure, poor community engagement, the absence of direction and appraisal by seniors, lack of enforcement of Regulation of Ministry of State Apparatus Utilization and Bureaucratic Reform No. 3 of 2015.
