Abstract

 AbstractThis research was conducted in December 2019 and January 2020 at the Fish Breeding and Breeding Laboratory of the Faculty of Fisheries and Maritime Affairs, Riau University. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect and optimal dosage of organic fertilizer fermented from white turi leaves (Sesbania grandiflora) on the culture of Chlorella sp. The design of this study was an experimental model using a completely randomized design factorial pattern (CRD) of 1 factor, 4 levels of treatment and 3 replications. The treatment level used was P0 (control, Walne 2ml / L). P2 (white turi leaf fertilizer dose 2 ml / L), P3 (3 ml / L), and P4 (4 ml / L). Cultivation was carried out for 10 days, using Turi Putih and Walne Leaf Fertilizers. The results showed that administration of different doses of white turi leaf fertilizer affected population density and specific growth rates. Application of white turi leaf fertilizer with a dose of 4 ml / L gives the best results with a cell density of 573.33 x 104 cells / ml, the highest peak density occurs on day 7. Results of quality measurements water during the study obtained a temperature of 29-33 oC, pH 7.8- 8.5, and DO 8.0-8.5.Keywords: Chlorella sp, pupuk daun turi putih Dose.

Email : Harlianto@gmail.comABSTRACKThis research was conducted in 28 January – 8 March 2019 at Fish Breeding Laboratory of Fisheries and Marine Faculty, University of Riau. This study aims to see the effect of giving earthworms with different frequencies to growth rate and survival rate of koi fish larvae. The method used in this study is the experimental method using a completely factor randomized design (CRD) and four treatments with three replications. The treatments applied in this study are: P3 = Giving earthworms 3 times a day at 08:00 am, 4:00 pm and 00:00 am,P4 = Giving earthworms 4 times a day at 08:00 am, 02:00 pm, 08:00 pm and 02:00 am, P5 = Giving earthworms 5 times a day at 08:00 am, 01:00 pm, 06:00 pm, 01:00 am and 06:00 am, P6 = Giving earthworms 6 times a day at 08:00 am, 12:00 pm, 04:00 pm, 08:00 pm, 00:00 am and 04:00 am. The results showed that the best frequencies of giving earthworms koilarvae are P3, with absolute weight growth 0,53 g, specific growth rates 6,62 %, absolute length growth 2,89 cm, and survival rate 80%. Temperatures range from 26-29oC, pH 6.4-7.1 and Dissolved Oxygen 4.2-5.2 mg/L. The value of this water quality has been with the standard of maintenance of koi fish.Keywords: Feed frequency, Larvae, Koi fish, Growth.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted on January - February 2018 in the Laboratory of Fish Hatchery and Breeding Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, University of Riau. The purpose of this research was to Effect Of Subtitution Feed On The Growth and Survival Rate of Larvae Baung (Hemibagrusnemurus). This research used the experimental method, while the experimental design using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 6 treatments, each with 3 replication. The composition of the treatment P1 (Tubifex sp. 1-30 days), P2 (Earthworms 1-30 days), P3 (Shrimp pellet 1-30 days), P4 (Tubifex sp.1-15days + Earthworms 16-30 days), P5 (Earthworms 1-15 days + Shrimp pellet 16-30 days), P6 (Tubifex sp 1-10 days + Earthworms 11-20 days + Shrimp pellet 21-30 days).The best result of the treatments from this research with given Tubifex sp. on 1-15 days and subtitution with earthworm feed for 16-30 days with 0,63 g (weight), 3,23 cm (length), 12,56% per days (specific growht rate) and 84,44% survival rate of larvae. The water quality parameters during this research were: temperature26,7-28,7oC,pH 5,3-6,3and dissolved oxygen 4,0 -5,4 mg/L. Key words: Subtitution, Hemibagrus nemurus,earthworm, growth and survival

Abstract

ABSTRACT            This research was conducted on February 16, 2020 - March 27, 2020, at Fish Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory of Fishery and Marine Science Faculty of Riau University. The aim of this research was to determine the effect ofRecombinant Growth Hormone (rGH) and the optimal dose and immersion duration on growth and survival rate of river catfish larvae (Hemibagrus nemurus). The method used  was a Completely Randomized Design Factorial with 2 factors. The first factor was  the dose of rGH with 4 levels;  0 mg/L (D0), 2,5 mg/L (D1), 3 mg/L (D2), and3,5 mg/L (D3). The second factor was the immersion duration with three levels of 45 minutes (P1), 60 minutes (P2) and 75 minutes (P3) respectively.The larvae were cultured preserved in jars for 40 days with 5 fish/L density. The results showed that the use of different doses and  immersion duration of rGH effected  on absolute weight, absolute length, specific growth and survival rate of river catfish larvae. Treatment dose 3 mg /L and 60 minutes (D2P2) with the result of absolute weight growth of 1.95 grams, absolute length 6.08 cm, specific growth rate of 15.88 % and survival rate of 84.66%. The water quality parameters during the study were optimal for river catfish larvae with temperature 27.8-28.9 oC, pH 5.9-6.9 and dissolved oxygen 3.5-6.8 mg/L.Keywords :Doses, Immersion Duration, Recombinant Growth Hormone,Hemibagrus nemurus.

Abstract

AbstractThe research was conducted from May to August 2017 at the Fish Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory, Faculty of fisheries and Marine University of Riau Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research was to know the effect of different frequency of earthworm and the best feeding frequency for gonadal maturation of beardless barb (Cyclocheilichthys apogon Val.1842). The research method was experiment method with four treatments and three replications.  Control treatment (P0) with 3 times 1 day pellet feeding, treatment 1 (P1) feeding of earthworm 2 times 1 day, treatment 2 (P2) feeding of earthworm 3 times 1 day, treatment 3 (P3) feeding of earthworm 4 times 1 day. The results showed the best treatment was feeding the earthworm of 4 times 1 day frequency. Total fish reached matured stage IV was 10 fish (83.33%), (Gonad Somatic Index 5.61%),  Fecundity (8030 eggs) and egg diameter (0.83 mm). Abstract

ABSTRACT         This study was conducted on December 2019 –February2020 at the Fish Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, University of Riau, Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of vitamin C on hatchability of eggs, growth, and survival oflarvae. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications. The dose of vitamin C solution used isC0 (0 mg/L), C50 (50 mg/L), C100 (100 mg/L), C150 (150 mg/L) and C200 (200 mg/ L). Immersion of Freshwater Pomfret eggs with vitamin C for 3 hours with density 150 eggs and water volume 1 L. Larvaewere maintained for 20 days. The results showed that different dose of vitamin C solution had a significant effect (P <0.05) on fertilization rate (88.66%), hatching rate (91.33%), and absolute length growth (1.26 cm). However, it did not have a significant effect (P> 0.05) on absolute weight growth, specific growth rate and survival rate of larvae. The best dose of vitamin C to increase the fertilization rate, hatching rate and absolute length growth was 150 mg/L. The water quality during the study was temperature26.3-28.2 ºC, pH water 5.5-5.8, pH of hatching water 5.9-6.3, pH of larvae maintenance water 5.7-6.5 and DO 6.0-6.6 mg/L.Keywords :  Colossoma macropomum, Vitamin C,  Fertilization Rate,Hatching Rate,Growth, Survival Rate

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the effect ofthyroxine hormone  and the optimal dose and immersion phaseon growth and survival rate of river catfish larvae (Hemibagrus nemurus). The method used  was a Completely Randomized Design Factorial with 2 factors. The first factor was  the dose of  thyroxine hormone  with 4 levels;  0 mg/L (D0), 0,1 mg/L (D1), 0,3 mg/L (D2), and 0,5 mg/L (D3). The second factor was the immersion phase with 2 levels of immersion egg (FL) and immersion larvae (FL).The larvae were cultured preserved in jars for 30 days with 2 fish/L density. The results showed that the use of different doses and  immersion phase of thyroxine hormone  effected  on absolute weight, absolute length, specific growth and survival rate of river catfish larvae. Treatment dose 0,3 mg /L and immersion larvae (D2FL) with the result of absolute weight growth of 2.08 grams, absolute length 5.02 cm, specific growth rate of 20.94 % and survival rate of 92.00 %. The water quality parameters during the study were optimal for river catfish larvae with temperature 27.8-28.9 oC, pH 5.9-6.9 and dissolved oxygen 3.5-6.8 mg/L.Keywords :Doses, Immersion phase, Thyroxine hormone,Hemibagrus nemurus

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted from February to March 2018 in the halls 0f the fishery seeds TarantangSubsdistrict, Harau, West Sumatra Province. The aims of this research was to know the effect of hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) pituitary gland injected with different dose on ovulation and survival rate of comet (Carassius auratus)and To find the best dose ot the pituitary gland to stimulate ovulation and survivaln rate of comet (Carassius auratus).The treatment used is as follows : PO Control using NaCL 0,9 % as much 0,2 ml/kg weight of test fish. P1: Injection of hCG with dose 700 IU/kg weight of test fish. P2: Injection of hCG with dose 900 IU/kg weight of test fish. P3: Injection of hCG with dose 1100 IU/kg weight of test fish.The best result of the research is P2: Injection of hCG with dose 900 IU/kg weight of test fish the with an average latent time 6 hours and 3 minutes, amount eggs(items)/g 219 items,Fertilization Rate 73,28%, Hatching Rate 75,64%, Survival Rate (SR)7 91,22%.Keywords :hCG hormone, Ovulation, Latent time, Carassiusauratus

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this research was to determine the effect of substation of Tubifex sp. with artificial feed and growth, survival rate and feed efficiency of Hemibagrus nemurus  fingerling.This research was conducted from February-March 2020 at Fish Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory, Fisheries and Marine Science Faculty of Riau University. The method used was an experumental method with completely randomized design with (RAL) one fator, seven treatment and three replication. The treatments in this research was T30 (given Tubifex sp. 30 days), Pm30 (given mem pellets 30 days), Pf30 (given prima feed pelets 30 days), T10Pm20(given Tubifex sp. 10 days + mem pelets 20 days), T20Pm10 (given Tubifex sp. 20 days + mem pelets 10 days), T10Pf20(given Tubifex sp. 10 days + prima feed pelets 20 days), T20Pf10 (given Tubifex sp. 20 days + prima feed pelets 10 days). The subjects used in this research were 5 days Hemibagrus nemurus fingerling. The research conducted by Hemibagrus nemurus fingerling in an aquarium 15 liters of water  with a stocking density of 2 fish/liter for 30 days with resirculaion system.  Frequency of feeding that conducted was three times a days as much as 80% for given Tubifex sp., and 13% for given artificial feed of the weight biomass. The result showed that T20Pm10 (given Tubifex sp. 20 days + mem pelets 10 days) the absolute weight growth was 1,27 g, the absolute length growth was 4,40 cm, specific growth rate was 20,16%/day, feed efficiency 36,16% and survival rate 92,22%.Keywords : Hemibagrus nemurus; Tubifex sp., Artificial Feed,Survival rate.

Abstract

AbstractThis study was conducted on September-October 2019 in fish hatchery and Breeding laboratory, fisheries and marine faculty of RiauUniversity, Pekanbaru. The aim of this study wasto determine the effect of different thyroxine hormone doses on hatching rate, growth and survival rate of sheat-fish (ompok rhadinurus Ng). This study used a factorial complete random match (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. Different doses used on this study were; P1 (0 mg/L), P2 (0.05 mg/L), P3 (0.10 mg/L) and P4 (0.15 mg/L). Immersion of sheat-fish eggs with thyroxin hormone for 24 hours with ± 250 of sheat-fish eggs (0.5 g) and incubated  in a jar. Sheat-fish larvae maintained for 30 days. The results showed that different thyroxine hormone doses affected (P < 0.05) to fertilization rate (92.06%), incubation (21 hours 36 minutes), hatching rate (91.71%), and survival rateof sheat-fish larvae (93.30%) But, didn’t affect to absolute length growth, absolute weight growth, and specific growth rate of sheat-fish larvae. The best doses thyroxine hormone to increase hatching rate, incubation time, and fertilization rate was 0,10 mg/L. Keywords: Sheat-fish, thyroxin hormone, fertilization rate, incubation time, hatching rate, absolute growth, survival rate
