Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the leadership styles employed at STIKES Budi Luhur Indonesia and Mahsa University Malaysia in their endeavors to enhance the quality of health education, with a particular focus on leadership rooted in institutional orientation. Both universities have demonstrated a firm dedication to improving the quality of education through the use of distinct yet equally successful leadership approaches. STIKES Budi Luhur prioritizes the creation of a curriculum that aligns with the requirements of the healthcare sector, while also focusing on enhancing soft skills and fostering religious character. In contrast, Mahsa University Malaysia prioritizes enhancing the caliber of its professors by providing regular training, modernizing facilities and infrastructure, and integrating information and communication technologies into the learning process. The study reveals that despite variations in leadership strategies, both schools effectively establish a favorable, inventive, and competitive learning atmosphere. The results of this study are anticipated to offer significant perspectives for leaders of similar higher education health institutions in developing successful leadership strategies to improve educational excellence.

Abstract

: One important factor in increasing resources in higher education is lecturers. As one of the universities, the Swadharma Jakarta Institute of Technology and Business strives to improve the quality of lecturers. Increasing the quality of lecturers is carried out by assessing lecturer performance. Good quality lecturers will result in improving the academic quality of higher education. Assessment is carried out by measuring through lecturer assessment indicators in education and teaching activities, research activities, community service activities and other supporting activities. ITB Swadharma has made various efforts to improve academic quality, including by conducting lecturer performance assessments

Abstract

This research aims to (1) understand and analyze the academic supervision of Madrasah principals in improving teacher performance at MTsN1 Tangerang City, (2) to determine the obstacles faced in implementing academic supervision of Madrasah principals to improve teacher performance at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Tangerang City. The research method used was descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection method is through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique includes four components, namely, data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the academic supervision of madrasah principals in improving teacher performance at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Tangerang City includes the development of syllabi, annual programs, semester programs, lesson plans and KKM which are adapted to student characteristics and relevant educational theories. The supervision model used is a clinical supervision model and artistic supervision with a directive, non-directive and collaborative approach, then the techniques used by the madrasa head are per class, scheduled and programmed techniques, as well as individual conversation techniques, group discussions and madrasa meetings. The obstacles faced in implementing academic supervision of madrasah principals at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Tangerang City include time, facilities, personnel funds, as well as obstacles in the practice of implementing supervision.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education, it is important to build a culture of quality in schools through the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) as ordered by the government. This research focuses on the implementation of SPMI at SMP Lab School FIP UMJ Cirendeu Ciputat Tangerang Banten. The aim is to analyze how the implementation of SPMI improves the quality of educational services at the school. Data is collected through observation, interviews and documentation, then analyzed to draw conclusions. The research results show several aspects: 1) quality mapping instruments that are not fully in accordance with the quality indicators of the 8 National Education Standards (SNP), 2) quality fulfillment targets that are not yet optimal, 3) fulfillment of the 8 SNP fulfillment targets, 4) improving the quality of the learning process and school management, 5) improving the quality of learning outcomes, establishing a quality culture, and continuing quality improvement. Thus, the implementation of SPMI at SMP Lab School FIP UMJ Cirendeu Ciputat Tangerang Banten has a positive impact in improving the quality of educational services.

Abstract

City branding is a strategy to introduce a city through its advantages. Cirebon City has a city branding with the tagline "The Gate of Secret" which reflects its identity as a culture-based tourist city. This study aims to analyze the implementation of city branding in Cirebon City and formulate strategies that can optimize it. The research method used is qualitative descriptive through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the Cirebon City Culture and Tourism Office has implemented various city branding initiatives, such as adding culture-based tourist destinations, making tourist locations a place to work through the Work from Destination (WFD) program, and launching the Wistakon tourism application to facilitate access to information for tourists. However, there are several supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This study provides insight into the importance of overcoming these obstacles to increase the effectiveness of Cirebon City's city branding

Abstract

Reputation is considered a powerful weapon essential in maintaining and preserving an organization's existence. It is also seen as a guarantor for achieving growth amidst turbulence and intense competition among service providers, including in the education sector. School administrators fully recognize the importance of reputation for the existence and growth of educational institutions, but not all of them manage it properly. This study aims to explain the formation of school reputation and analyze the importance of massive implementation of school reputation management. Using a qualitative approach and case study method, data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The research found that all the top, famous, prestigious, and highly reputable high schools in Bandung have not formally integrated reputation as a strategic component, as indicated by the absence of discourse on implementing school reputation management in their environments. So far, reputation management has been natural, not based on strategic plans and tactical measures to counter potential crises that every organization might face. Effective reputation management is crucial for the existence and advancement of leading schools, involving reputational communication strategies, institutional messaging through programs and interactive media, and feedback management to build and maintain the school's reputation.

Abstract

Community Service (PKM) was initiated by the importance of education which is a pillar of sustainable national development. So quality education is an idea to produce superior output. So collaborative steps are needed to make this happen with follow-up educational supervision to achieve National Education Standards. This service is carried out using an awareness method through policy education given to service participants who are teachers, students and staff from SMA Kartika X-1 Jakarta. Based on the results of the education provided to community service participants at SMA Kartika If it is related to the educational follow-up activities that are implemented, namely the Management Review Plan (RTM) and Follow-up Plan (RTL). Meanwhile, if examined from the aspect of school reputation, this follow-up activity is oriented towards improving the positive image of the school through demonstrated academic quality

Abstract

The title of this research is ”management to improve quality madrasah governance (descriptive study on private madrasah aliyah in bandung district)” this title was chosen because it wanted to reveal how madrasah apply the management principles of madrasah governance, thus giving birt to quality madrasah, increasing graudates and having high competitiveness. Research objectives: in general, is to examine strategies for improving governance in private madrasah aliyah in the kertasari sub-district, bandung district in implementing the ministry of education regulation. In order to improve quality education. And specific objectives. (1) to determine the planning of quality madrasah governance programs in private madrasah aliyah in kertasari sub-district, (2) implementation of programs on quality madrasah governance, (3) supervision of quality madrasah governance programs, (4) problems about quality madrasah governance programs, (5) efforts to improve the madrasah governance programs. Whhereas in the process of extracting the results of the filed the author uses the triangulation of results, namely: interview, obsevation ,dokumentation study.in two madrasah that are catagorized as high-quality madrasah, namely the baitul huda joglo alyah madrasah, kertasari sub-district, bandung district and islamic school aliyah al-fatah sukasari kertasari sub-district, bandung district. Basedvon the results of the study, it was found, among others:(1) quality madrasah management planning in the two madrasah was to combine religious and general sciences, as well as the eistence of other programs, such as educational programs and social programs. (2) the implementation of quality management of madrasah governance at the two institutions is related to improving the quality of education which refers to the national ducation standars that must be comprehensive and consequently about the management of education carried out by madrasah citizens. (3)supervision of qulity madrasah governance at these institutions is carried out in a thorough manner, meaning that suvervision is inherent in every educational actor in the two institutions. (4) follow-up madrasah governance faced by the two institutions includes providing direction and understanding to the community about madrasa, so that they are moren inrested in and support the madrasah programs. (5) efforts to improve madrasah management program are faced by the two institutions in the future by increasing collaboration with various related parties.

Abstract

Erspo, the newly appointed official apparel supplier for the Indonesian National Football Team, has gained widespread attention. The role of social media influencers, particularly on platforms like TikTok and X has significantly amplified the brands visibility. By using Agenda Setting Theory, this study aims to analyze Erspos brand image amid public opinion through media monitoring and sentiment analysis using Brand24. This quantitative study collected data from social media and online media during the period 15 October to 15 November 2024, focusing on how frequently and widely the brand is discussed, and how public sentiment is distributed. The results show that 55% of the sentiment was positive, dominated by appreciation for the jersey design and Erspos role as the official apparel of the Indonesian National Team. Meanwhile, 45% of the sentiment was negative, triggered by complaints about product quality and a controversial statement from the national team coach. TikTok recorded the highest reach (2.78 million users), while X generated the most mentions (375 mentions). Public discussion was driven by three major issues, including product quality, team performance, and sports governance. This study concludes that brand reputation is highly influenced by issue salience and content frequency across platforms.Erspo, yang baru saja ditunjuk sebagai pemasok resmi apparel Tim Nasional Sepak Bola Indonesia, telah menarik perhatian luas. Peran influencer media sosial, terutama di platform seperti TikTok dan X, secara signifikan meningkatkan visibilitas merek ini. Dengan menggunakan Teori Agenda Setting, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis citra merek Erspo di tengah opini publik melalui pemantauan media dan analisis sentimen menggunakan Brand24. Penelitian kuantitatif ini mengumpulkan data dari media sosial dan media daring selama periode 16 Oktober hingga 15 November 2024, dengan fokus pada seberapa sering dan luas merek tersebut dibahas, dan bagaimana sentimen publik didistribusikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 55% sentimen bersifat positif, didominasi oleh apresiasi terhadap desain jersey dan peran Erspo sebagai apparel resmi Timnas Indonesia. Sementara itu, 45% sentimen bersifat negatif, dipicu oleh keluhan tentang kualitas produk dan pernyataan kontroversial dari pelatih timnas. TikTok mencatat jangkauan tertinggi (2,78 juta pengguna), sementara X menghasilkan mention terbanyak (375 mention). Diskusi publik didorong oleh tiga isu utama, yaitu kualitas produk, kinerja tim, dan tata kelola olahraga. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa reputasi merek sangat dipengaruhi oleh saliensi isu dan frekuensi konten di seluruh platform.

Abstract

Competition in the Business and Industrial World (DUDI) is a part of which influences human life today and in the future. Its development was built by one of the human efforts in the field of education. SMK as an educational activity that prepares graduates to be ready for work is a fundamental thing, where work readiness itself will have an impact on life. SWOT theory includes Strengths, Weaknesses, Challenges and Threats which are the empirical principles put forward. With a qualitative method through the principles of observation, interview and documentation. Research Questions Focus on: 1. Teacher's Competency Strengths in developing graduates according to DUDI standards? 2. Weaknesses of Teacher Competence in developing graduates according to DUDI standards? 3. Teacher Competency Challenges in developing graduates who comply with DUDI standards? and 4. Threats of Teacher Competence in developing graduates according to DUDI standards? Where the results of the research show that the complexity of the standards of the business world and industry is very broad, while the implementation of teacher competencies has not been developed for the development of readiness to balance and develop DUDI itself.
