Abstract

Nobita Hill, a tourist site in Padang City, is undergoing development as a tourist destination that offers a bird's-eye view of Padang City. Unfortunately, the hilly topography with steep slopes increases the risk of landslides in this area. In order to address the problem, the community service team from the Physics Department of Andalas University has carried out a six-month community service program from July to December 2022. It focused on disaster awareness education and used a qualitative approach. This activity aims to socialize disaster mitigation efforts, especially those related to landslides and earthquakes, considering that Padang City is also prone to earthquakes. The results of this activity showed an increase in the knowledge of the local community after the socialization, but repeated activities are needed to achieve optimal results. This ongoing activity is essential to ensure continuous improvement in the community's understanding of disaster mitigation and to support efforts to make Bukit Nobita a disaster-resilient area. Thus, this activity makes a positive contribution to shaping a safe, sustainable, and disaster-resilient tourism environment.

Abstract

The results of this study explain several aspects regarding multicultural education in the perspective of Islamic education. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. Collecting data is by using literature study techniques, namely data collected by going through several stages of review originating from books, notes, literature and various reports related to the problem to be solved from various sources both from journals and books. The results of this study indicate the aspects discussed in multicultural education in an Islamic perspective consisting of: (1) the notion of multiculturalism, this multiculturalism, is an ideology which places more emphasis on equality in cultural diversity, (2) the principle of multicultural education, in principle Multicultural education is education that gives respect to diversity, (3) multicultural characteristics in an Islamic view, the characteristics of multicultural education in an Islamic education perspective can be identified through seven components, namely studying life in society with differences that occur in an idea or we call it a concept ( ideology), respecting three mutual aspects (understanding, respect, and mutual trust), having openness in thinking, appreciating and so on, (4) the purpose of multicultural education, multicultural education aims to form individuals who have understanding, appreciation, and skills in dealing with diversity culture, religion, and ethnic background that exist in society. ABSTRAKHasil penelitian ini menjelaskan beberapa aspek-aspek berkenaan dengan pendidikan multikultural dalam perspektif pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Mengumpulkan data adalah dengan memakai teknik studi kepustakaan, yaitu data dikumpulkan dengan melalui beberapa tahap telaah yang berasal dari buku, catatan, literature dan berbagai laporan terkait masalah yang akan dipecahkan dari berbagai sumber baik dari jurnal dan buku-buku. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan aspek-aspek yang dibahas pada pendidikan multikultural dalam perspektif Islam yang terdiri dari : (1) pengertian multikultural, multikulturalisme ini, merupakan sebuah ideologi yang dimana lebih menekankan  pada kesetaraan dalam keragaman budaya, (2) prinsip pendidikan multikultural, secara prinsip pendidikan multikultural adalah pendidikan yang memberikan penghargaan terhadap keragaman, (3) karakteristik multikultural dalam pandangan Islam, karakteristik pendidikan multikultural dalam perspektif pendidikan Islam dapat diidentifikasi melalui tujuh komponen, yaitu mempelajari kehidupan dalam masyarakat dengan perbedaan yang terjadi pada sebuah gagasan atau kita sebut sebagai konsep (ideologi), menghormati tiga aspek mutual (pengertian, penghargaan, dan saling yakin), memiliki keterbukaan dalam berpikir, mengapresiasi dan sebagainya, (4) tujuan pendidikan multikultural, pendidikan multikultural bertujuan untuk membentuk individu yang memiliki pemahaman, penghargaan, dan keterampilan dalam menghadapi keragaman budaya, agama, dan latar belakang etnis yang ada dalam masyarakat.

Abstract

The background of this research is that tax collection is less than optimal by government agencies and the low revenue from parking fees is still low, even though parking fees are a potential tax sector if the government continues to maximize its collection. This is what causes a decrease in revenue because revenue targets are not realized properly. The aim of this research is to find out the condition of local tax financial performance as measured using the value for money method through economic ratios, efficiency ratios, and effectiveness ratios. The research was conducted at the Medan City Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency. And using a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques, namely interviews and documentation, and the data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The results in this study indicate that the measurement of the Economic Ratio is in the Less Economical criteria by obtaining an average value of 72.62%, this shows that the Medan City BPPRD cannot carry out cost management in an economical way. The measurement of the Efficiency Ratio is in the Very Efficient criteria with an average of 9.16% obtained, these results show that the financial performance of the Medan City BPPRD is very efficient. The measurement of the Effectiveness Ratio is in the Very Effective criteria by obtaining an average value of 110.33%. This shows that the Medan City BPPRD has succeeded in managing its performance.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the internal control system for merchandise inventory in the company and the internal control system for merchandise inventory using COSO as well as the obstacles faced in the internal control system for merchandise inventory. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The data sources for this research are primary data and secondary data. The research results obtained from this research are: firstly, the internal control system for merchandise inventory at the Oriens Jaya Medan Motor Vehicle Spare Parts Distributor is implemented based on established procedures, secondly, the internal control system for merchandise inventory uses COSO from 5 (five) components which have 17 ( seventeen) the principles contained in all of these principles have been answered but there are some that do not yet exist in the company including code of ethics and ethical standards, officially written organizational structure, does not have an audit committee, does not have CCTV, does not set strict sanctions , and there was no bar code scanning device, and the third problem faced was human error which resulted in inventory differences and delays in sending goods by expeditions, damage to goods due to expeditions and customers (shops) taking a long time to send returned goods.

Abstract

The focus of this study is to determine the effect of variable X1 financing problems and variable X2 operational efficiency on variable Y profitability of PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia within a predetermined time span, namely the 2013-2022 period. Quantitative research methods with associative approaches and documentation data collection techniques are used in this study. Secondary data sources come from all financial ratio reports of PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia which are also the population and 40 financial reports in quarterly form from the 2013-2022 period as a sample. Eviews 12.0 was used to process data with the R2 test, T test, F test and the classical assumption test considered across multiple linear regression. According to the results of simultaneous hypothesis testing. Based on the analysis of the NPF and BOPO variables, it was found that Fcount was 808.5030 and Ftable was 3.252, which means Fcount > Ftable, so the results of this test indicated that both NPF and BOPO simultaneously had a significant effect on ROA. Through the t test the NPF variable has a tcount value of 2.379788 and a probability of 0.0226 when compared to ttable = 2.026, meaning that the value of tcount > ttable corresponds to the results of the t test. Then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The significance value of BOPO is 0.0000, which is less than 0.05, thus indicating the result that BOPO has a significant effect on ROA. thus giving an illustration that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

This research aims to identify strategies for developing the dragon fruit farming business in Sei Sijenggi Village using SWOT analysis based on the mashlahah (Welfare) theory. This research was conducted qualitatively and data was collected through observation and interviews. SWOT analysis is used to analyze the collected data. The research found that internal factors consist of four strength factors and four weakness factors, while external factors consist of four opportunity factors and four threat factors. In the SWOT diagram, the combination of the IFAS value of 2.94 and the EFAS value of 2.86 shows that the strategy for developing the dragon fruit farming business in Sei Sijenggi Village is in quadrant 1 from the mashlahah side. This condition shows that it is still in a strategic position to continue to be developed because the strength score is more dominant than the weakness score (easy cultivation and low risk in accordance with the mashlahah principle) and the opportunity score is more dominant than the threat score (potential supporting natural resources). The S-O (Strength-Opportunity) strategy is the main strategy that can be used in this research. However, aggressive strategies were used to support this research.

Abstract

Zakat sebagai salah satu rukun Islam yang wajib ditunaikan oleh umat muslim. Al-Qur‟an dan sunnah selalu menggandengkan shalat dengan zakat. Ini menunjukkan betapa eratnya hubungan antara keduanya. Keislaman seseorang tidak akan sempurna kecuali dengan kedua hal tersebut. Zakat merupakan jembatan menuju Islam. Apabila seseorang memahami ajaran agama dalam hal ini mengenai zakat maka ia memahami kewajiban membayar zakat jika sudah sampai nisab dan haulnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode kuantitatif, data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer yang diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 42 responden. Analisis data menggunakan Analisis Regresi Linear Berganda dengan bantuan SofwareSPSS 21.0 Windows. Hasil dari penilitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sosialisasi dan pelaporan keuangan secara parsial memberikan kontribusi positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi masyarakat untuk membayar zakat di BAZNAS Kota Dumai.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Interest, Environment and Income on Demand for Brand Wakwok Products (Case Study of Students at Medan City State Campus). This study uses quantitative methods and associative approaches, data collection techniques using questionnaires and population and samples in this study were 67 students from 4 state campuses in Medan City, namely: USU, UNIMED, UINSU, and POLMED. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression methods. The results of this study indicate that Interest (X1) affects the Demand for Brand "WakWok" Products, Environment (X2) affects the Demand for Brand "WakWok" Products, Income (X3) affects the Demand for Brand "WakWok" Products, and Interest, Environment¸ and Income simultaneously affect the Demand for Brand "WakWok" Products. This can be seen that the variation in the variables of Interest, Environment, and Income is able to explain the variation in the Demand for Brand "WakWok" Products variable by 53.5%.

Abstract

Microsoft Word merupakan sebuah program dari paket instalasi Microsoft Office, yang berfungsi sebagai perangkat lunak pengolah kata meliputi membuat, mengedit, dan memformat dokumen berupa teks misalnya seperti kertas kerja, brosur, kartu nama, buku, jurnal, dan lain-lain. Tujuan diadakannya Pengenalan Metode Pembelajaran Menggunakan Microsoft Word ini yaitu untuk memberikan pendidikan dan tambahan keterampilan kepada para peserta pengabdian masyarakat yang masih minim pengetahuannya dalam mengenal Microsoft Word. Peserta yang dimaksud adalah merupakan siswa-siswi dari SMPN 5 Wanasalam, yang dimana peserta tersebut berusia antara 13 tahun sampai dengan 15 tahun. Dari hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini. Jika ada kesempatan dan waktu, maka Mahasiswa Universitas Pamulang ingin melanjutkan pengabdian masyarakat ini dengan melakukan pelatihan dengan waktu yang lebih panjang, di karena materi dasar yang harus dikuasai dari pembelajaran Microsoft Word ini sangat banyak, sehingga pembekalan materi tidak cukup diberikan hanya dalam satu kali pertemuan.

Abstract

This study aims to find out whether Padang Mahondang Village has implemented Government Accounting Standards in its Village Financial Accountability in accordance with PSAP No.01, to find out what procedures are made by Padang Mahondang Village in Presenting Village Financial Accountability Reports and What are the obstacles experienced by the village in the Implementation of Government Accounting Standards in Village Financial Accountability in accordance with PSAP No.01. The research methodology used is qualitative research. The data sources used are primary data obtained by direct interviews and secondary data obtained from related documents. The location of this research is in Padang Mahondang Village, Pulau Rakyat District, Asahan Regency. The results of this study can be concluded that the Application of Government Accounting Standards in Village Financial Accountability in this village has not been fully said to be good because there are still several financial reports that have not been made by the village government and the procedure for preparing village financial accountability reports is appropriate whereby making an Accountability Report Realization of APBDes Implementation, Village Regulations, Village-Owned Wealth Reports and Government and Regional Government Program Reports that enter the village.
