Abstract

This study aims to analyse the influence of compensation, competence, and transformational leadership on lecturer performance, with work motivation as an intervening variable. The study employed a quantitative approach using a cross-sectional survey and Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) to confirm the relationships among variables. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire from 289 lecturers at private Islamic universities in Indonesia. The instrument was developed based on indicators for each variable, validated by experts, and pilot-tested, demonstrating validity and reliability. The results indicate that compensation significantly influences work motivation, but does not directly impact performance; however, compensation influences performance through motivation. Competence significantly influences motivation and performance, and improves performance through motivation. Transformational leadership significantly influences motivation but does not directly impact performance; rather, it does so through motivation. Work motivation significantly influences lecturer performance. The implications of this study emphasise that improving lecturer performance can be achieved through policies that strengthen motivation, such as fair compensation, competency development, and transformational leadership.

Abstract

Gunung Silanu Village has abundant potential for breadfruit harvests, but its utilization is still limited to the sale of raw fruit with low economic value. The main problems faced by partners are the rapid deterioration of the fruit after harvest and a lack of skills in food processing technology. This Community Service Program (PKM) activity aims to provide farmer groups and housewives with skills in processing breadfruit into flour. Methods used included outreach, hands-on training, and packaging assistance. The activity results showed an 80% increase in participants' understanding of the hygienic breadfruit flour production process. The resulting breadfruit flour has the potential to replace wheat flour as a raw material for local home industries, directly increasing the economic value of breadfruit and supporting food security in Gunung Silanu Village.

Abstract

Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi yang bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan ilmu pengetahuan secara nyata di tengah masyarakat. Bagi mahasiswa hukum, kegiatan magang di kantor notaris menjadi sarana strategis untuk memberikan kontribusi dalam pelayanan hukum perdata sekaligus meningkatkan kompetensi praktisKegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai kedudukan, wewenang, dan tanggung jawab notaris serta PPAT, sekaligus menumbuhkan profesionalisme dan integritas dalam pelaksanaan tugas kenotariatan dan pertanahan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam pelayanan kenotariatan berkontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan kualitas pelayanan hukum perdata, khususnya dalam menjamin ketertiban administrasi, kepastian hukum, dan perlindungan hukum bagi masyarakat. Selain itu, kegiatan ini memberikan pengalaman praktis bagi mahasiswa dalam memahami prosedur pembuatan akta otentik serta etika profesi notaris. Dengan demikian, kegiatan magang di kantor notaris dapat dipandang sebagai bentuk pengabdian masyarakat yang efektif dan aplikatif di bidang hukum perdata.

Abstract

This literature review on digital transformation policies, gaps, and challenges in educator development in South Sulawesi aims to analyze policies, gaps, and challenges related to digital transformation. This study uses a systematic literature review approach by examining various sources published between 2021 and 2026. The analysis was conducted thematically, covering four main dimensions policy gaps, infrastructure and competency, organizational culture challenges, and the implications of digital transformation for educator professional development. The study results show that South Sulawesi has launched several innovative programs such as Smart Schools, Collaborative Digital Classes, digitalization of governance through Electronic Signatures, and Smart School Learning Communities. However, the implementation of these programs still faces significant infrastructure gaps, particularly in remote, island, and mountainous areas, where internet penetration in Sulawesi has only reached 68.35% the lowest in Indonesia. Cultural challenges such as resistance to change, low teacher digital literacy, and an organizational culture that does not support innovation also slow down the implementation of digital transformation.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of leadership values into employee career development, aiming to identify and describe the specific values embedded in this process. Adopting a qualitative design, seven participants were purposively selected based on their roles and responsibilities relevant to the study. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using thematic analysis. Findings reveal that the core leadership values integrated into career development include accountability, fairness, and integrity, supported by values such as exemplary behavior, responsibility, honesty, and authoritarianism. These values form the basis for a career development system that is fair, transparent, and focused on enhancing the competence and qualifications of civil servants.

Abstract

Employee suspension in the banking sector constitutes an administrative measure that creates legal ambiguity within Indonesia’s labor law system, particularly regarding the status of the employment relationship during the suspension period. This condition directly affects employees’ normative rights, including wages, social security, health protection, and employment continuity. In practice, suspension is commonly imposed in cases involving alleged ethical violations, indications of fraud, or the need for internal investigations in accordance with regulations of the Financial Services Authority. This study aims to analyze the legal status of suspended employees under Indonesian labor law and related regulations, as well as to examine the obligations of employers in ensuring fair protection of employees’ rights. This research employs a normative legal method using statutory, conceptual, and case approaches. The findings indicate that suspension does not constitute termination of employment but rather a temporary suspension of work obligations, thereby maintaining the legal employment relationship. Consequently, employees remain entitled to wages and social protection. The absence of specific regulations creates legal gaps that may disadvantage employees. This study recommends the establishment of specific regulations to ensure legal certainty and balanced protection for both parties.

Abstract

The implementation of Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) reflects a digital transformation in traffic law administration aimed at enhancing efficiency, transparency, and accountability. However, the system raises legal concerns related to administrative responsibility based on vehicle registration data, particularly when ownership records are outdated. This study aims to examine administrative legal protection for registered vehicle owners within the ETLE system in the jurisdiction of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police. This research employs a normative juridical method using statute and conceptual approaches. The findings reveal that reliance on registration-based data may lead to administrative inaccuracies and legal uncertainty for vehicle owners. In addition, the lack of integrated data verification and limited access to objection mechanisms weakens administrative legal protection. Therefore, strengthening administrative safeguards requires integrated inter-agency data systems, accessible verification and objection procedures, and improved regulatory governance to ensure fairness and legal certainty in ETLE implementation.

Abstract

Bengkel las merupakan lingkungan kerja yang memiliki berbagai potensi bahaya, seperti luka bakar, cedera mata, paparan asap las, sengatan listrik, dan kebisingan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas pengendalian risiko kecelakaan kerja menggunakan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) pada bengkel las melalui literature review. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif analitis dengan menelaah berbagai jurnal dan artikel ilmiah periode 2015–2025. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa metode FMEA efektif digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi bahaya, menentukan tingkat risiko, dan menetapkan prioritas pengendalian melalui nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN). Pengendalian risiko yang umum diterapkan meliputi penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD), penerapan standar operasional prosedur (SOP), pelatihan keselamatan kerja, serta pengawasan rutin. Dengan demikian, metode FMEA dinilai cukup efektif sebagai alat bantu pengendalian risiko kecelakaan kerja pada bengkel las.
