Abstract

Halimeda is a genus of calcified alga that inhabits tropical aquatic environments. The presences of Halimeda is essential for waters around mining sites, such as the waters of Maba District, wich is the center of mining in East Halmahera. As a calcareous organism, Halimeda functions as a buffer to neutralize the pH of waters. Although the presence of Halimeda in waters is not rare, studies on Halimeda taxonomy in Indonesia are very limited. Identification of Halimeda species can be done by looking at morphological and anatomical structures as an alternative based on the key to determining Halimeda species in the Indo-Pacific by Hillis & Collinvaux (1980), in addition to looking at DNA sequences. This study was aimed at identifying Halimeda species distributed in the waters of Maba District, East Halmahera based on morphological and anatomical characteristic. Besides, it also aims to determine the distribution and similarity of species between sampling locations. Sampling was carried out using purposive sampling method. Halimeda sample collection was prepared before identification. Eight species of Halimeda were found from four sampling sites, namely Halimeda cylindracea, H. distorta, H. macroloba, H. opuntia, H. simulans, H. discoidea, H. melanesica, and H. tuna. In additional to these eight species, seven unidentified Halimeda species were also found based on morphological and anatomical characteristc. Most similarity percentage of Halimeda species was found between Tanjung Buli-Monoropo at 75% and the lowest between Gee Island-Pakal Island (0%). The distribution of Halimeda species in waters in influenced by many factors, including substrate type, nutrients, light intensity, salinity, pH, temperature, depth, wave and current action.

Abstract

The use of technology has made human life easier, all sectors have merged with technology, such as Internet of Things (IoT) technology where an object is embedded with technology such as sensors and software with the aim of communicating with each other and exchanging data via software as long as it is still connected to the internet. This test aims to monitor engine speed and temperature. This research and testing uses a standard measuring instrument development method that uses a Tachometer to a measuring instrument with IoT technology that uses sensors. The design of the engine speed and temperature monitoring tool with Internet of Things technology uses several main tools, namely the Arduino Uno module, ESP8266, speed and temperature sensors which can be monitored using a smartphone. The results of engine speed monitoring by comparing standard measuring instruments with IoT technology monitoring tools or presentation of the average failure of the Tachometer and monitoring tools are 1.35. This means that the level of precision of monitoring tools with IoT technology is better than standard tools. Pemanfaatan teknologi telah mempermudah kehidupan manusia, semua sektor telah melebur bersama teknologi, seperti halnya teknologi Internet of things (IoT) dimana suatu objek ditanamkan teknologi seperti sensor dan software dengan tujuan saling berkomunikasi dan bertukar data melalui software selama masih terhubung ke internet. Pengujian ini bertujuan untuk memonitor kecepatan dan suhu engine. Penelitian dan pengujian ini menggunakan motode pengembangan alat ukur standar yang menggunakan Tachometer ke alat ukur dengan teknologi IoT yang menggunakan Sensor. Rancang bangun alat pemantauan kecepatan dan suhu engine dengan teknologi Internet of Things ini menggunakan beberapa alat utama yaitu Arduino uno modul, ESP8266, Sensor kecepatan dan suhu yang monitoringnya menggunakan Smartphone. Hasil pemantauan kecepatan engine dengan membandingkan antara alat ukur standar dengan alat pemantauan teknologi IoT atau presentasi rata-rata kegagalan Tachometer dan alat monitoring sebesar 1,35 . Artinya tingkat presisi alat pemantauan dengan tekno;ogi IoT ini lebih baik dari alat standar.

Abstract

ABSTRACT - Phytoplankton are plants of very small size, their life hovering in waters. Changes in the abundance of types and also the structure of their communities, can be explained by the analysis of the Redfield Ratio. The Redfield ratio is defined as a comparison of the content of N and P types of nutrients in a body of water. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to analyze the Ratio of Redfield to the suitability of phytoplankton life in the Lantebung mangrove ecosystem in Makassar City. The results showed that as many as 19 phytoplankton genera classified into 3 classes were found, namely the Bacillariophyceae class consisting of 14 genera, Cyanophyceae 1 genus, and Dinophyceae 4 genera. The genus of phytoplankton found at all stations is Rhizosolenia and Chaetoceros. These two types of phytoplankton are the Bacillariophyceae group. The results of the Redfield Ratio analysis are not optimal for phytoplankton growth, the ratio is below 16 Based on this, the redfield ratio is not in accordance with phytoplankton life in the Lantebung mangrove ecosystem in Makassar City. The results of pearson's correlation analysis between Redfield Ratio and phytoplankton abundance were 50.7 %. Keywords: Redfield ratio, phytoplankton abundance, Lantebung, Makassar City.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of women's income on poverty levels. Using panel data from city districts in Riau province during the 2011-2022 period, the analysis model used is panel regression with a fixed effect approach. This research reveals that women's income contributions to the family can significantly reduce poverty levels. The greater the contribution of women's income to total family income, the lower the poverty level. On the other hand, a decrease in women's income contribution results in an increase in poverty levels. These findings have implications that regional government efforts to reduce poverty levels in Riau province can be carried out through policy interventions related to increasing women's income, especially married women. Therefore, increasing women's participation in income-generating programs can be one of the strategic policies that should be considered in efforts to reduce the poverty rate. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendapatan perempuan terhadap tingkat kemiskinan. Menggunakan data panel kabupaten kota di provinsi Riau selama periode 2011-2022, model analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi panel pendekatan fixed effect. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa sumbangan pendapatan perempuan dalam keluarga secara signifikan dapat menurunkan tingkat kemiskinan. Semakin besar kontribusi pendapatan perempuan terhadap total pendapatan keluarga, semakin rendah tingkat kemiskinan. Sebaliknya, penurunan kontribusi pendapatan perempuan berdampak pada peningkatan tingkat kemiskinan. Temuan ini berimplikasi bahwa upaya pemerintah daerah dalam menurunkan tingkat kemiskinan di provinsi Riau dapat dilakukan melalui intervensi kebijakan yang berhubungan peningkatan pendapatan perempuan, terutama perempuan menikah. Karena itu, peningkatan partisipasi perempuan dalam income generating program dapat menjadi salah satu kebijakan strategis yang seharusnya dipertimbangkan bagi upaya penurunan tingkat kemiskinan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of labor absorption in the micro and small industrial (IMK) sector on poverty levels in Riau province. The data used is in the form of panel data from 12 districts/cities over the period 2018-2020. The data is then analyzed using an econometric panel regression model. The study finds that labor absorption in this industrial sector has a negative and significant effect on poverty levels. The greater the labor absorption in the IMK sector, the lower the poverty level in Riau province. Conversely, the smaller the labor absorption, the higher the poverty level. The results of this study provide implementable policy recommendations that efforts to reduce poverty levels in Riau province can be carried out through policies related to the development of micro and small industries in the community. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penyerapan tenaga kerja sektor industri mikro kecil (IMK) terhadap tingkat kemiskinan di provinsi Riau. Data yang digunakan berbentuk data panel 12 kabupaten kota selama periode 2018-2020. Selanjutnya data dianalisis menggunakan model ekonometrik regresi panel. Penelitian menemukan bahwa penyerapan tenaga kerja pada sektor industri ini berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap tingkat kemiskinan. Semakin besar penyerapan tenaga kerja di sektor IMK, semakin rendah tingkat kemiskinan di provinsi Riau. Sebaliknya, semakin kecil penyerapan tenaga kerja semakin tinggi tingkat kemiskinan. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi implementatif bahwa upaya penurunan tingkat kemiskinan di provinsi Riau dapat dilakukan melalui kebijakan yang berkaitan dengan pengembangan industri mikro kecil di masyarakat.

Abstract

ABSTRAKThis research examines the impact of globalization on the social andcultural development of students at UPT SPF SDN 101990 BangunPurba. This research uses a qualitative approach with in-depthinterview methods, participant observation, and documentationanalysis. This research aims to describe the impact of globalization,identify cultural changes, analyze student adaptation, and providerecommendations for educators and policy makers. The researchresults show that globalization has had a positive impact in the form ofincreasing access to knowledge through technology, developing socialskills, cultural enrichment, and increasing environmental and socialawareness. Students demonstrate better communication skills,participation in collaborative activities, and a tolerant attitude towardscultural diversity. This research supports constructivism theory andintercultural contact theory, provides important insights for managingthe influence of globalization in elementary schools, and becomes areference for educational strategies that are responsive toglobalization

Abstract

Direct Village Fund Cash Assistance (BLT-Dana Desa) is financial assistance to poor families in villages sourced from the Village Fund to reduce the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in improving the family economy. This study aims to determine the process of distributing Cash Direct Assistance (BLT) and public perceptions of Cash Direct Assistance (BLT) funds in an effort to improve the family economy according to the perspective of Islamic economics in Glumpang Baro sub-district, Pidie district. This research is a quantitative research. The results of the study found that the dimensions of perceived benefits became the most important perceptions in improving the community's economy, then the dimensions of perceptions of justice and dimensions of perceptions of information disclosure and the dimensions of perception of the distribution process were in the last order. The results of the Man-Whitney test indicate that differences in age, occupation, marital status, education level and frequency of receiving BLT do not cause differences in people's perceptions in improving the family economy according to an Islamic economic perspective.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between GRDP per capita and poverty levels on district/city school enrollment rates in Riau province. Using secondary data in the form of a panel of 12 districts/cities in Riau province from the 2015-2022 period. The research method used is panel data regression. The results of research using the Fixed Effect model approach show that the relationship between GRDP per capita has a positive and insignificant effect on school enrollment rates and the poverty level has a negative and significant relationship with school enrollment rates in districts/cities in Riau province.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Zakat and DOKA on poverty levels using Economic Growth as a moderating variable. Operationalizing panel data from two administrative regions (districts and cities) in Aceh during the 2019-2021 period, the analysis models used are multiple regression and moderated regression analysis. The research results show that Zakat and DOKA in that year had no effect in reducing poverty in Aceh. However, increasing GRDP moderates the influence of Zakat and DOKA on poverty, making these two instruments more effective in reducing poverty levels and increasing economic prosperity.

Abstract

Our research study aims to examine and analyze the impact of zakat distribution by Baitul Mal on reducing poverty levels in the West-South region of Aceh. Utilizing panel data from 8 regencies and cities over the period 2013-2021, the analytical model employed is panel regression with a fixed effect approach. Our study reveals that zakat distribution significantly reduces poverty levels. The larger the amount of zakat distributed, the lower the poverty level. These findings imply that regional government efforts to reduce poverty, particularly in the West-South region of Aceh, can be implemented through policy interventions related to zakat distribution. Regional governments, through Baitul Mal, must ensure that zakat recipients are indeed from the poor group.
