Abstract

The role of MSMEs as a business enterprise service must certainly have a strategy to improve employee performance, one of which is appreciation for their performance and achievements in increasing revenue or profit for the organization. This research is a systematic literature study (SLR) that aims to analyze trends in scientific publications related to the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) from various aspects, including the type of document, scientific field, and country of origin of the author. The analysis shows that the majority of documents are scientific articles (83.3%), with the dominant fields including Business, Management and Accounting and Social Sciences (25% each). The largest source of publications came from the United Kingdom and Malaysia. This finding shows that there is considerable scientific attention to MSME development, especially from countries with strong entrepreneurial systems. In the Indonesian context, the results of this study provide an important illustration of the need for cross-disciplinary knowledge integration and the adoption of research-based policies from other countries to strengthen the competitiveness of national MSMEs. The study also recommends increased international collaboration and research focus on aspects of digitalization, innovation and sustainability in the development of MSMEs in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract

The shifting landscape of work due to digitalization has made virtual teams a primary organizational structure in global enterprises. However, group dynamics within such teams remain a challenge, particularly in terms of collaboration, conflict, and innovation. This study aims to examine the interrelationship among these three variables through a systematic review of 43 peer-reviewed journal articles indexed in Scopus over the past five years. Utilizing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach based on the PRISMA protocol, the data were analyzed descriptively, thematically, and conceptually. The findings indicate that effective collaboration is influenced by work structure, trust, and leadership, while conflict plays a dual role as both an obstacle and a trigger for innovation. This review proposes a conceptual model titled the "Virtual Team Dynamics Triad," mapping the relationship between collaboration, conflict, and innovation, with trust, leadership, and digital competence serving as moderating factors. Theoretically, this study enriches dynamic models of virtual team functioning, and practically, it offers recommendations for work design, training, and organizational policy. Future research is encouraged to test this model in cross-cultural settings and through multilevel approaches.

Abstract

The transformation of the global work landscape driven by digitalization and the pandemic has rapidly accelerated the widespread adoption of remote work, creating an urgent need to understand the relationship between work-life balance (WLB), burnout, and the dynamics of modern organizational behavior. This study aims to synthesize scientific findings from the past five years on the interconnection of these three concepts through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach guided by the PRISMA protocol. A total of 79 verified primary articles were analyzed using thematic and content analysis methods to map key trends, theoretical-methodological approaches, and relevant research gaps. The results indicate that WLB functions as a protective factor against burnout, whereas remote work exhibits ambivalent effects that depend on organizational design and behavior. This review highlights the dominance of the JD-R theory and the limitations of longitudinal studies. The main contribution of this research lies in its thematic integration of cross-cutting variables and the proposal of a synthetic model based on dynamic interaction. The study recommends the development of digital organizational behavior theory and work policies that prioritize well-being. Future research is encouraged to adopt cross-disciplinary and contextual approaches to build a more adaptive and human-centered framework.

Abstract

This research discusses “A Holistic Model for Character Education in Schools.” Character education is considered an important solution to a variety of ongoing moral vulnerability phenomena. It is expected that through education the cognitive, affective, psychomotor, and spiritual aspects in learners can be harmonized. To this end, a holistic model for character education can be applied to learners. This study was carried out using a qualitative approach through library research. The data were collected by documentation technique and later analyzed by descriptive analysis. The research results indicated that character education is a process of positive values internalization in learners for them to possess good character, which comprises cognitive, feeling, and action aspects. Therefore, it is deemed necessary to introduce and internalize life values that are useful for learners to become whole human beings, that is, as individual-social, physical-spiritual, or autonomous-God’s human beings. The holistic character education model can be implemented in schools in an integrated manner across all school subjects. Otherwise put, it can be implemented through the learning process at school on a day-to-day basis.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the results of the critical analysis regarding some strategies that can be adopted in building character education values in Islamic education, especially in the time of distance learning. These strategies are deemed to be crucial parameters in the learning process so that the learning process will not merely on cognitive achievement. Grounded in library research, study findings promote four strategies to be employed in building character education values in Islamic education in the age of distance learning. First, teacher-parent communication was optimized via online media, e.g. social media, digital mutaba’ah books (communication book: a teacher-parent daily communication book) based on Google form applications, or offline media, e.g. printed Mutaba’ah books. Second, the character education value-based learning module was designed to highlight several materials related to character education in the form of motivational videos, inspirational stories, and so forth. Third, various innovative learning methods, including problem-solving, positive habituation, and reflection methods were undertaken to emphasize the affective and psychomotor indicators. Forth, a comprehensive learning evaluation was developed to leverage not only cognitive skills but also the affective and psychomotor domains.
