Abstract

Teachers frequently encounter heavy workloads, which can reduce job satisfaction. While various research have looked at this link, the function of job motivation as a deciding factor has not been thoroughly investigated. This systematic literature review seeks to investigate how motivation of work affects the relationship between workload with job satisfaction in teachers. Using the PRISMA framework, a thorough search was undertaken across major academic databases such as Crossref, Semantic Scholar, and Google Scholar, focused on publications published between 2015 and 2025. Inclusion criteria were peer-reviewed publications on motivation, workload, and job satisfaction in the context of school teacher. A total of 12 relevant studies were examined thematically. The data show that a high workload typically affects job satisfaction, although this impact can be mitigated or modulated by internal and extrinsic motivating variables. Teachers with higher levels of intrinsic motivation were more tolerant to workload-related stress and reported higher levels of satisfaction. This review emphasizes the necessity of improving motivating tactics in educational institutions in order to increase teacher well-being. More study is needed to investigate contextual variables including school culture and teacher tenure.

Abstract

The consumption of unhealthy snacks among young children is increasing, while parents’ knowledge of children’s nutritional needs remains limited. This study aimed to evaluate the impact of ethnoparenting-based training on improving parents’ knowledge of early childhood nutrition in Karangsari Village, West Java. The focus of the training was to develop an innovative nutritious snack, Manca, made from local ingredients, namely Manyung fish bone meal and Leunca vegetables, both rich in calcium and phosphorus. This research employed a pre-experimental design with pre-test and post-test procedures. The sample consisted of 30 parents of children aged 2 to 6 years, selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk test, Levene test, and paired t-test. The results indicated a significant improvement in parents’ knowledge, with the mean post-test score increasing by 37 points from 48 to 85. The findings align with Bandura’s Social Learning Theory and Bronfenbrenner’s Ecological Systems Theory, emphasizing the role of parental modeling and cultural context in shaping nutritional practices. The ethnoparenting-based training proved effective in enhancing parents’ awareness of balanced nutrition for young children. This study highlights the importance of culturally grounded approaches in health and education programs for parents. The findings imply the need to integrate ethnoparenting-based training into early childhood care and education (ECCE) policies globally, particularly in multicultural contexts where parental knowledge of nutrition varies widely. By promoting culturally sensitive nutrition behaviors among parents, this study contributes to the global discourse on improving child health outcomes amid rising cases of undernutrition and overnutrition. Furthermore, incorporating local practices into educational interventions may serve as a model for sustainable and culturally responsive public health initiatives worldwide.

Abstract

This study analyzes the profile of Neuromyth in Neuroscience lectures at PIAUD based on students' multiple intelligences. Neuromyths are misconceptions about the brain in learning. Early childhood education is very important as a stimulation of children's brain development. Teachers and prospective early childhood teachers need to avoid misconceptions about the brain (Neuromyths). This study is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach with the aim of identifying and describing neuromyths and the relationship of multiple intelligences of Early Childhood Islamic Education (PIAUD) students. The respondents to the study were 73 PIAUD students consisting of 95.9% women and 4.1% men with a pre-undergraduate education background. As many as 58.9% of the students who were used as respondents had taught 41.1%, had never taught 59.9%. Data was collected through questionnaire tests, and document analysis was analyzed by thematic analysis. The results show that the Neuromyth profile of the brain, learning, and teaching is not in accordance with scientific facts. For example, the notion that the left brain is more important and dominant for learning is compared to the left side. Judging from the multiple intelligences of PIAUD students, as many as 39.7% are at the level of naturalist intelligence. In conclusion, this Neuromyth profile needs to be overcome by providing accurate information about the brain, learning, and teaching, as well as using active and participatory learning methods reviewed from Education. The Multiple Intelligence of students is not related to neuro so there is no reason that multiple intelligence is related to neuroscience.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze efforts to prevent and handle violence against children and their implementation in educational institutions. Efforts to prevent and handle violence against children in the school environment are important, one of which is the formation of a Violence Prevention and Handling Team (TPPK). Previous studies have identified various aspects of preventing and handling violence in schools, including child protection policies in schools. The findings in this study highlight how the implementation of the TPPK program in schools is one of the efforts to prevent and handle violence in schools. The method used is the systematic literature review method by reviewing various related scientific articles from 2018-2024 which were accessed through the Google Scholar database related to the prevention and handling of violence against children and the policies therein. The results of the analysis show that the violence prevention and handling program is being implemented but still requires comprehensive socialization regarding the formation of a Violence Prevention and Handling Team in educational units. Prevention of violence against children can be carried out through a comprehensive approach that involves the active role of schools, families, and the community. The success of the child violence prevention and handling program in educational institutions is highly dependent on the commitment of all stakeholders, firm policies, and continuous monitoring and evaluation.

Abstract

Reading comprehension is a crucial component of literacy that significantly impacts students’ academic development across various subjects. However, conventional teaching methods often fail to accommodate the diverse cognitive strengths of learners, leading to disengagement and limited understanding. This study introduces a digital and intelligence-based instructional model designed to enhance reading comprehension among third-grade elementary students. The model integrates visual-spatial and linguistic-verbal intelligences with interactive digital modules to promote more engaging and effective learning. Using a Design and Development research approach, the model was systematically designed, validated by experts, and implemented in five elementary schools. Eight instructional sessions were conducted to examine the practical application and effectiveness of the approach. Data were collected through pre-tests, post-tests, classroom observations, and teacher interviews; however, the sampling techniques used were not clarified. Statistical analysis using paired and independent t-tests revealed significant improvements in students' reading comprehension in the experimental group compared to the control group. Qualitative findings also showed increased student motivation and participation during learning activities. The results suggest that a digital instructional model grounded in learners’ cognitive profiles can substantially support literacy development at the primary level. Future studies are recommended to refine sampling procedures and extend the application across broader educational contexts.
