Abstract

This study aims to understand and analyze the role and contribution of each educational environment of family, school, and community in instilling moral values and forming the character of students in an integrated and sustainable manner. This qualitative study uses library research, the research method is carried out by collecting and analyzing various relevant written sources. These sources can be in the form of scientific journals, books, online articles, research reports, or official publications that discuss the concept of education in families, schools and communities within the framework of value and character education. The results of the study show that: 1) Value and character education is most effective when there is synergy between family, school, and community; these three environments complement each other in forming the personality and morals of students. 2) Lack of consistency in instilling values between the three environments can cause value confusion in children, so intensive communication and cooperation are needed between parties to achieve the goals of complete character education. Why impact why the results are like that because family, school, and community have an important role in shaping children's character. If all three are in harmony and support each other.

Abstract

Boplo Market, also known as Gondangdia Market, was built in the 1920s by N.V. de Bouwploeg in the Nieuw-Gondangdia-Menteng area. The name "Boplo" is a local adaptation of "Bouwploeg," meaning "building group." Reconstructed in 2014 after a fire, the market held significant value for residents during the 1960s-1980s. However, rapid globalization and the shift from conventional to digital transactions have caused a decline in buyers and sellers, revealing the need for architecture to adapt to changing demands. This study seeks to redesign Boplo Market, focusing on creating a flexible structure that can accommodate evolving functions. Applying the regenerative approach introduced by Pamela Mang and Bill Reed, the redesign emphasizes revitalizing the natural environment and strengthening the surrounding community. The regenerative concept ensures the building's capacity for continuous renewal, making it future-proof and relevant over time. The design transforms what was once a placeless space—devoid of unique local identity—into an adaptive, contextually harmonious environment that responds to local needs and characteristics. Through a balance of tradition and innovation, the proposed redesign positions the market as a resilient space capable of withstanding the challenges of globalization while fostering a strong connection to its cultural and social context. This approach ensures that the market remains a vital, functional part of the community for years to come.

Abstract

Background and Aim: Canine ehrlichiosis and anaplasmosis are significant tick-borne diseases with global distribution and high clinical relevance in veterinary medicine. This case report presents a ten-year-old male Fila Brasileiro dog exhibiting clinical signs of anorexia and lethargy for three consecutive days.Materials and Methods: Physical examination revealed fever (40.3 C), pale mucous membranes, and a body condition score of 3/5. A complete blood count (CBC) showed leukocytosis, neutrophilia, eosinophilia, microcytic anemia, and thrombocytopenia. Further confirmation using a SNAP 4Dx rapid test detected antibodies against Ehrlichia spp. and Anaplasma spp., leading to a definitive diagnosis of ehrlichiosis and anaplasmosis. Treatment involved fluid therapy using intravenous 0.9% sodium chloride and doxycycline at a dose of 250 mg per day for 21 days. Results : The hematological findings align with typical abnormalities observed in dogs with these infections, including reduced erythrocyte and platelet counts, which are associated with immune-mediated destruction and bone marrow suppression. These pathogens also alter neutrophil function to evade the host immune response, contributing to prolonged inflammation and disease progression. The hematological profile presented here demonstrates a rare combination of microcytic anemia and eosinophilia, which may suggest an atypical host immune response not commonly described in previous literature. Conclusion: This case highlights the importance of early diagnosis through hematological and serological examinations and emphasizes the need for routine tick prevention to reduce the risk of tick-borne diseases in dogs.

Abstract

Desa Girimukti is a village of East Kalimantan, Penajam Paser Utara. According to data for 2021, a privately owned area of around 16,000 ha will have a population of 6,730 persons and 1,908 occupied homes. The rising creation of garbage, especially home organic waste, is being caused by a sizable population. If handled improperly, it will contaminate the environment. Utilizing fermentation to transform trash into liquid organic fertilizer is one solution that is possible. Study In order to produce liquid organic fertilizer, it is necessary to know the ideal ratio of organic waste to bioactivator as well as the best fermentation time to obtain the highest nutritional content. In this research, EM4, water, and sugar are added to a reactor that already has household organic waste present in the form of vegetables. In order to test the macronutrient content, which includes C-organic, N, P, K, and pH, samples were taken on days 5, 10, and 15 of the 15-day fermentation process. In this study, the addition ratio of EM4 to vegetable waste was 30:100, with a lengthy fermentation period of 10 days. This provided the finest liquid organic fertilizer. The best pH, C-organic content, N, P, and K contents are 11.99%, 4.45%, 5.54%, 4.8200%, and 6.82, respectively. The produced liquid organic fertilizer satisfies the requirements for quality of MOA 70 of 2011.

Abstract

Construction projects often face cost and time constraints, while projects are required to be completed on schedule. To overcome these problems, an accurate management system is needed in a construction project to measure time performance, which refers to the progress of the work. By applying the earned value management (EVM) method, it is possible to project progress and weekly performance indices, making it easier to evaluate when there are deviations from the schedule. This study aims to analyze schedule variations and weekly time productivity, enabling the prediction of when the project will be completed. In the construction project of the Faculty of Law Building at Samratulangi University in North Sulawesi Province, reviews were conducted in weeks 1, 5, 10, 11, 20, and 25, where each review period had different CV, SV, and CPI values, allowing to assess at which time the predicted time was closest to the actual time occurring on-site.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the nature, process, outcomes, obstacles, and mitigation of social control over homosexual gay behavior among adolescents in Pontianak City. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews with two gay adolescents, participatory observation, and documentation of policies and media reports. The data were analyzed through reduction, presentation, and verification using source and time triangulation. The findings indicate that social control in Pontianak is still dominated by preventive approaches, which are not yet effectively integrated and are mostly limited to reproductive health education by specific institutions. Curative approaches through community-based rehabilitation also face constraints related to limited resources and high levels of social stigma. Persuasive control is primarily carried out by families and communities through methods such as reprimands, moral advice, and religious approaches, which often result in psychological pressure for adolescents. The main barriers to effective social control include the absence of specific regulations, weak coordination among agencies, and resistance from both the public and the LGBT community. Proposed mitigation strategies include strengthening the role of families as primary supervisors, fostering collaboration among schools, communities, formal institutions, and law enforcement, with an emphasis on educational and humanistic approaches. Community-based rehabilitation models that have proven effective in other countries are recommended for adaptation, alongside religious and traditional moral value-based approaches to strengthen adolescents"™ character and awareness. In conclusion, social control of homosexual gay behavior in Pontianak City requires a more inclusive, consistent, and structured multisectoral synergy that addresses the psychosocial and emotional aspects of adolescence in order to foster a supportive and harmonious environment for the moral development of the younger generation in line with local social and cultural norms.
